Utopia Beach Club Resorts Review

We will soon spend our 6th vacation there. It is not a 5 star stronghold, but quite acceptable. Super friendly staff, enjoyable food and an important point for me personally: a mega reef!

Excellent stay from 3/11 to 10/11, I would say perfect climate, never TOO hot, never cold, structure divided into two zones, international in the "upper" part with megagalactic pool, and Italian managed by Veratour in the lower one; sea as already reviewed many times over extraordinary animation, Sara of the Miniclub alone deserves the holiday. Then all hli all entertainers are extraordinary. The airport of Marsa Alam a bit mangy in return but still GREAT HOLIDAY. a really good value for money.

The renovations have done the hotel good. There are many ways to spend the day. With casual animation or just relaxing. The snorkeling on the reef is always a highlight.

A tourist village is beautiful and quiet and has more than a restaurant serving different foods such as Italian and Oriental

Returned this morning from a wonderful week spent at Utopia Beach. Friendly staff, nice structure and good cleanliness, veraclub animation guys nice, prepared and very good never intrusive and insistent. Excellent cuisine with an Italian cook Not to mention the wonderful sea of its colors and the beautiful coral reef within everyone's reach.
What can I say ..... I recommend it to everyone is a great experience to try ... Gia I miss all this !!! Thank you all

We spent 2 weeks holiday here, after 2016 the second time. The food has improved a lot, varied with open grill on the terrace and often Egyptian or Arabic specialties. Very good and tasty. The staff by the bank very friendly, communication sometimes only by sign language possible, but it works. The rooms are clean, however, many damage damage can be seen. Elsewhere, however, is being renovated and built vigorously. So it's progressing. Besides, one should not forget the price. As often described: The reef is just a dream. As if you dive in the aquarium. You could watch for hours and watch without being boring.
Conclusion: at any time gladly again.

Very nice hotel, rooms (in the bungalow) are very nice, clean, newly made and completely sufficient. Bungalow is really recommended here. Minibar in the room consists of 2 bottles of water.
The only mango here would be that cocktails and ice cream have to be paid extra and are not included in the price.
The beach and the house reef are very, very beautiful.

Amazing place with excellent service and very good stuff

Following a spontaneous inspiration, we flew on a short break to Marsa Alam. It was a very nice week, where we booked the Utopia Beach Club primarily because of the diving at the Euro Divers. We are not typical all inclusive vacationers and therefore I am not the annoying entertainment program very accommodating. Food good, but I would have preferred a bit more Egyptian food. The Mexican eatery at the resort met our expectations 100%. The only downside deserve the dim glasses and the not wiped tables. There is air up. Staff very nice. Egypt is definitely recommended.

The best hotel and the most beautiful beach with a beautiful reef. Food and drink always plentiful and very good. Thanks, anytime again...

Its very good place and wonderful beach all with friendly staff

Great village with guest area completely renovated in March 2019 and sold by Veratour. Excellent food, bearing in mind that we are in Egypt so it is not so obvious. Rooms with new furnishings and functioning amenities. It is just a pity that the buffet room is not very large based on the number of customers so at noon you may have difficulty finding a table if you want to eat inside. You will also find various solar shops inside and outside the village, ... which also accept payment by credit card. Be wary of booking the quad bike ride in the office on the beach outside the village if not the one sold by the tour operator. Paid Wi-Fi service per week and per device but at the time of my visit the speed was sufficient only for the use of messaging programs. If you are lucky enough to buy an Egyptian data SIM, surfing the internet will be much more usable and faster.

First of all, this is our fourth time in Egypt. So far we have been very happy with the hotel. The room (we booked a bungalow deluxe) is always cleaned well. The staff is a lot nicer than in other areas. The food is decent for Egyptian standards, although the selection of fruit is very small. There are neither bananas nor mango. For example, a mango costs only 50 cents in the markets.
The house reef, which is widely praised here, is uniquely beautiful. We walked 10 km to the left on the beach and 10 km to the right. There is no comparable beautiful one nearby. And there is something for everyone. Children and the leisurely can see many fish and corals in the shallow water in the part protected by the outer reef. The brave can easily explore the outer reef by snorkeling through the bay. Now to the reason for my only three star rating: Unfortunately, like many other guests here, we got diarrhea. Since we brushed our teeth with bottled water, did not take ice cream or ate something other than in the hotel, it is obvious that it is the food in the hotel. Since it is difficult to get out of the hotel with diarrhea, we were forced to get something in the hotel's own pharmacy. We were offered Nifunal 200. According to our own research, this costs between 6 and 8 EGP for locals. But we had to shell out 330 EGP. That is over forty times the usual price. And now someone please tell me why you shouldn't have the feeling that you are being excluded here?

old, but nice hotel. The buldings and pools have their age and need the renovation, but are clean.
good food, not very various daily, but everyday was different style.

Great hotel great staff eating so snorkeling and diving great.

The hotel is good and the food was great. All fresh made and served good.
The pool areas are kept really clean and we never struggled for sun beds .nice beach good for snorkling area(big variety of tropical fish) and plenty of children's pool choices for families with small children and lots of umbrellas for shade.
Also have a good spa with perfect massage and many others.
The beach was really nice and accessible even with pushchairs lots of sun-beds and umbrellas here too.
Plenty of grass and lovely flowers and dactill palms.
The hotel staff are amazing especially in the restaurant - they made our holiday fantastic and looked after my 4 year old every meal time.
Please thank whole menagment. Specialy thanx to Director, and Ali from guest relations department. Animation team=excellent fun and entertainment!!! Guys are full of energy and ideas.
Water in red sea is worm and sand is very clean.
Rooms are very clean and modern and have a fridge which again is good especially with young children. There is a good selection of shops in the hotel so you don't have to leave the resort although. I would definitely visit the hotel again and would recommend it to families - especially families with babies and younger children.
Any issues are resolved immediately and guest services cannot do more for you then they doing. Specialy many thanx to managers of restaurants and pool area. The amount of issues that the resolve is hudge.
Every one is so hard working, with smile always on.

I decided to take a couple of days for this review because I would like what I write to make the idea of the emotion felt

Let's start from the beginning:
Leaving on my partner's birthday, I got in touch with the village manager Vera via Facebook, Tarek.
We arrived at the Village and we found all the entertainers in line to sing Happy Birthday to him .... and the next day, a beautiful cake in the room with a lot of wishes written on the bed!
Tarek will never thank enough !!!
Beautiful village all the extremely kind staff, "good" cuisine (considering the country we are in) THE CHEF CLAUDIO DE ROMA !!! With its always ready joke and the pasta that really brings you home

And the life of the Village ...
These guys do a job that is often underestimated, because you always think of them on vacation, but believe me, it's not like that:
They do not sleep, they sing and dance even against the temperatures, if they are physically ill, if they are angry or tired, they however for the whole of your holiday, they give you every moment a true smile, full of love for what they do ....



But my most special thanks go to Sara and Sara, who took my "Little Girl" a little out of place, a big one among the little ones and made L feel one of them, making them live in an experience as a "Baby Animator" who loved .... some gorgeous girls who take care of our boys without a minute's rest
Together with a Little Angel with Long and Raven hair called Marta, a little puppy who did his utmost to make sure that for my daughter it was a Fantastic experience thanks Marta I will always carry you in my Heart!
Raffaella, the Fitness woman, who personally if they were all like me, would also have taken a week off, but who with her smile and her hug calling me "hello Mamy" made me fall in love and know that I was very sorry not to be able to greet you (I hope you are better)

The hotel is only recommended if you check in as an Italian. Half of the facility belongs to an Italian investor and none of the Italians feel it. Bad rooms, bad facilities, bad and substandard treatment. If you are Italians here you get a different all-inclusive bracelet. Italian guests have their own entrance, their own restaurants, their own beach facilities, which the other guests are not allowed to use. Absolute NoGo.
The pool is broken in many places. The tiles in the rooms are almost all broken, but not in the dreamlike rooms of the Italians on the beach. Everything is excellent there .. Never again Utopia !!!!! not to be recommended

Perfect services, everything in perfect order. But what arrived at this hotel was the attitude of the medical staff. Yesterday, in the pool, a lady was drowning and two Czechs resuscitated her, and the local health care professional did not seem to know what to do. He just watched with the local staff. This is very bad !!!!!

Everything just perfect. Food very good. Cleanliness very good. Staff always friendly. We will be back.

We returned a week ago, very nice village, I found a lot of kindness and availability, very varied and good and abundant food, nice and comfortable room the only thing missing the bidet, terrific animation and very nice, beautiful sea even if every now and then we found of plastic! The only negative thing is the driving of the coach during the excursions are reckless. Surely we would like to go back there.

I would recommend the place, super friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, amazing view and you can visit many locations in the city and enjoy it

Top for us !!! Super staff - for us Czechs who are not able to smile what wakes up in the morning - the best treatment for this hotel and especially the smiling staff who will teach you even if you do not want to laugh
Animators - they take care of you all day until the evening and I organize an event every evening. Both for children from 20:00 and then for adults.
A 4-star meal a really flashy selection breakfast, lunch on the beach or by the pool at the hotel, and dining at the hotel.
Most of all, it's quiet there. Far from the city and other hotels and still close to the airport.
Calm, well-being, fun-diving, snorkeling, quad bikes, camels, etc ....

Reef is no longer in order, hotel dated. Rooms and restaurant that has been renovated is clearly intended for Italians, with its own driveway and entrance.

We spent a pleasant and relaxing week. The resort was welcoming with friendly and attentive staff and a family atmosphere. Ali, the guest manager, speaks Italian; always very present and available. Varied and well-kept buffets, also suitable for people like me who have problems with celiac disease (dakik = flour). Beautiful sea with direct access. We recommend it

A beautiful, spacious hotel area. The rooms are large and everything is there, what you need (safe, hair dryer, refrigerator, TV, large balcony). Bit worn, but good for Egyptian standards. Amazing hotel deserve more than 5 stars not only 4, Great service and kind people. Food was very good and I am sure that if we don't have Covid-19 it will be much better varieties of food. Sea was great and hotel need more swimming pools

The best snorkel I've ever seen. ..to me Utopia is the best

My family and I were guests in Utopia from May 25th to June 1st 2019. The village is gorgeous, the sea is really beautiful and allowed us to see turtles and fish never met before. The kitchen really good, in particular the chef Raffaele delighted us every day with his delicacies and homemade pasta. The animation was very nice especially Michael, Werther and Anita who made us laugh and have fun. A negative aspect was that on the beach it was full of mosquito-like insects that pinched and did not allow sunbathing in peace. The rooms were very nice, although we didn't understand why they gave us 2 rooms with single beds instead of 2 double rooms. The waiters are a little nagging in asking tips except for Shazly Sheroo who was very helpful, nice and helpful. The excursion to Luxor was very interesting even though the 6 hours of bus (and not 4) to go and 6 hours to go back were really tiring, but certainly it was worth it. Thanks also to Guda who is part of the staff who has always been very kind and helpful and also to Ciaocat who made bus travel and stay in Marsa alam even more fun. One thing that was a bit annoying were some foreigners from the neighboring international village who were not very polite, in fact they left the children unattended and unleashed in the pool, they were bullies in the restaurant (for example, skipping rows to eat) and had habits unpleasant both on the beach and at the table. The excursion to the Abu Dabbab beach (or turtle beach) is very beautiful where it was exciting to see very large turtles. Another plus was that we needed the doctor for an allergic reaction and within minutes he arrived and solved it. It was a wonderful holiday and the place is really beautiful, definitely a vacation that deserves!

So the food was okay. Not very varied rather monotonous.
It tasted. The juices were more a syrup with water mixture. Freshly squeezed juices cost extra.
A very big minus receives the utopia for the plastic cups standing at the vending machines instead of reusable cups. Refill cups are unfortunately not available all the time. The mugs are unfortunately already in the reef in tons to find. Please stop the pollution of the reefs to love otherwise the tourists stay away.
There are all that the heart of a diver desires. Turtles eagle rays dolphins seahorses lionfish and much more. The Italians have their own area. But it mixes on the beach. Beach chairs were so plentiful at this time. Rooms were ok. Unfortunately there was often not enough water in the shower when showering, when all shower. Waiters and service staff are very friendly and courteous. Some speak very good German. Cheap prices are quite expensive.
We were there because of the diving center. Recommended by our action sports team from Berlin. I felt myself and my family (all beginner 4 people) very very well looked after. Instruction and introduction to diving in the sea was explained to us in German everything. The briefing In English, Karima translated us for the children. The guides know the reefs and every marine life that is there. Servants helped us create and store the diving equipment. It is not really faster anymore. All are very relaxed, fun, very well trained. During the dives we felt very safe with the guides. They had everything always in view. The whole Eurodiver team has a very high standard.
People are sitting on the beach looking that they come out again.
We were not there for the last time.
For us as diving freshlings it was a great start into the underwater world.
Excursions were great.

Super nice hotel! This is the place to snorkel! Reef is beautiful here. Animation and food is less here, but this hotel is meant to go to the sea. Staff is great pretty nice. If you like snorkeling, I would definitely go here!

We had 2 wonderful weeks of vacation. Thanks to all the village staff. They were courteous, kind and they didn't miss anything.

A very nice hotel.
It has 4 stars, but the level is much higher. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Many attractions. Everywhere clean. Beach and pools great. Heated only one pool, but enough. Very good kitchen. The hotel is alive all day. From the morning of fun, evening shows.

A lot has happened to Utopia in recent years. The rooms were partly renovated, the grounds are renewed with great attention to detail and the staff is as always very friendly on the next 10 years

A cheap hotel, unfortunately lonely in the desert and urgently needs to be renovated. Although all the staff were concerned about the guests, but it takes over to sit in the dining room on the stained and dirty chairs and eat at the sticky tables. The food was adapted to the low price.
The pool should be treated with care if you do not want to get an infection.
