Nice and pleasant hotel about 40km from Marsa Alam airport. Rooms in the hotel area and recostructured bungalows are nice and spacious even in their cheapest option. Older bungalows are not much, even though they look beautiful outside. As for the food, it was absolutely great, every time one chooses. Dinner and breakfast take place in the main building and lunch in the great beach restaurant, which is a few steps from the sea. Pools and slides nice and clean. As for the sea, that's why it's worth a visit to this hotel. No pier, but a gradual sandy entrance to the sea full of beautiful corals.

Hotel complex:
Very nice and big, there is something for everyone. The food is pretty good too. We were all inclusive. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Sometimes even almost too eager to clear away the plate again :)
The treatments in the wellness should also be very nice and not too expensive (sometimes it helps to refuse first .. A treatment costs around 35 if you negotiate something).

Dive base:
Very well organized. Here pickups drive regularly and simply "on demand" to the beaches / entry points and the Zodiacs are also very flexible and you can always get to where you want to dive quickly. Feel free to ask the locals for tips and ask on the reef that they can recommend;) The Zodiac pickup also works very quickly and reliably. Even if something goes wrong while diving, the emergency chain works perfectly. People are super vigilant and quick.

I was very pleased. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. Except the "beach vendors" are sometimes annoying. But there are certain places in the area that would need a bit of maintenance and renovation. But otherwise everything looks good and it has already been repaired in one place or another.
The food was also very tasty, but unfortunately not very varied.

Our first stay at Utopia! Good three star hotel (with some providers it is three and four stars) with a fantastic reef. Nice and attentive service. Manageable buffet but everything was delicious and something for everyone. Meat is cooked through but tender, no matter if beef tenderloin, duck, chicken .... Practical is the beach restaurant on the beach, where there is a small but delicious lunch buffet. Afterwards pizza Margherita with fries from the oven is offered, highly recommended. The beach area is cleaned regularly. The rooms are getting old. Some are already being renovated. What we did not know before, that a generator is so dense and loud at the hotel. You should write an e-mail beforehand, that you definitely do not want to have a room nearby! These rooms are not renovated yet. In the complex itself much is renewed, but not disturbing. The animation team is great! Very friendly and not pushy. I can recommend Aquafit We will definitely book this hotel again. Just for the sake of the reef, which is indescribable. Despite the red flag, there are huge reef sections, where you can snorkel super. We felt very comfortable here and if you are not looking for a five star hotel and snorkeling, relax, is just right!

Good and nice hotel, but old. Rooms in central hotel are clear, but old. Better buy holiday in bungalows. Meal is good, fish every day, beef and chicken. Perfekt is lunch on the beach. Go there.

Perfect staff with good service, everyone in the staff try as much as he can to do the best of their ability to help the guests in a professional way, the food is good but not wow, there is no varieties in the buffet may be according to Covid 19 disease , very delicious and yummy dessert in dinner . On the other side, which seems clear that the level of guests is low, the hotel needs to put the limit in dealing with the travel companies' offers for this reason.

I am always satisfied with this hotel.

Like last year, I am extremely satisfied this year.

I was now for the second time in the hotel, it is much improved and built (detailed review on Holidaycheck) and I would come back. There is of course still room for improvement, but the room was clean (had both a unrenovated as well as a renovated), only the couch-reservation in the fully occupied hotel was unfortunately not prevented by the hotel. Super house reef, quiet location, who needs action, is wrong here. Price / performance ratio okey, is not just a 5-star shed :-)

Great hotel great staff huge house reef ideal for divers and snorkelers

Nice hotel location. Staff is very friendly and tried hard. Dive center very clean and well organized. The cleanliness and everything corresponds to the usual Egyptian conditions. Good is the access to the sea which is not possible over the jetty but over the beach. Shoes recommended. Food is very good. Where the buffet is not as big and extensive as in other resorts. Nevertheless, everyone will find something. Water dispensers can be found at all bars, Rwstaurants etc. TIP Drinking bottles. Fill up instead of constantly using small cups.

What a great, relaxing holiday destination. Very friendly staff, the food was great and there was loads of fun activities for families to participate in. The sea was lovely, clear blue and warm, I swam everyday and saw various different fish species. I was even lucky enough to snorkel alongside a dolphin. The quad biking in the dessert was a great experience especially seeing the glass mountain.

Definitely a Divers paradise. Will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing hospitality with beautiful house reef! Swam with dolphins and turtle. Very professional dive company here with Euro Dive.

Animation has better friendly, approach to the beach a bit difficult

The resort is well structured, the staff is very helpful. The location of the beach is beautiful with the coral reef in front. The resort on the Italian side is under veratour management which has managed both arrivals and departures and the various trips. The animation, always veratour, is perfect

Returned a little later after a week to Utopia. Fantastic village, beautiful sea with coral reef on the shore, you can swim in the middle of the fish. Clean excellent rooms. The animation guys are very good, a special merit goes to the cook Raffaele who prepared homemade pasta at the time. A special thanks to Guda who followed us all week helping us with any problems. First time, scuba diving good, warm and dry, good time for my first visit to Egypt

Many people come here several times and all for the sake of a beautiful coral bay and the opportunity to swim with dolphins at the outer coral - in this sense it is 5 stars. The hotel is not bad, there are renovated rooms with electronic lock (not in the main building). Food without frills.

The facility is clean and is currently being gradually renovated. The beach is also clean and suitable for snorkelers (of course the reef is also great for divers).
The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Food is good and you can get fresh juices for breakfast for an extra charge.
The change to disposable dishes is negative (more paper cups and polystyrene plates - especially in the afternoons in the beach restaurant).

I decided to take a couple of days for this review because I would like what I write to make the idea of the emotion felt

Let's start from the beginning:
Leaving on my partner's birthday, I got in touch with the village manager Vera via Facebook, Tarek.
We arrived at the Village and we found all the entertainers in line to sing Happy Birthday to him .... and the next day, a beautiful cake in the room with a lot of wishes written on the bed!
Tarek will never thank enough !!!
Beautiful village all the extremely kind staff, "good" cuisine (considering the country we are in) THE CHEF CLAUDIO DE ROMA !!! With its always ready joke and the pasta that really brings you home

And the life of the Village ...
These guys do a job that is often underestimated, because you always think of them on vacation, but believe me, it's not like that:
They do not sleep, they sing and dance even against the temperatures, if they are physically ill, if they are angry or tired, they however for the whole of your holiday, they give you every moment a true smile, full of love for what they do ....



But my most special thanks go to Sara and Sara, who took my "Little Girl" a little out of place, a big one among the little ones and made L feel one of them, making them live in an experience as a "Baby Animator" who loved .... some gorgeous girls who take care of our boys without a minute's rest
Together with a Little Angel with Long and Raven hair called Marta, a little puppy who did his utmost to make sure that for my daughter it was a Fantastic experience thanks Marta I will always carry you in my Heart!

Excellent resort about an hour by road from Marsalam, located on the shore of the Red Sea, among the few where the sea allows you to see the coral reef fish of a thousand colors and if lucky some turtles, without reaching the Rif with the consequent risks of the waves . Equipped with many comforts, the most appreciable for us Italians and not only, the kitchen, with many varieties in addition to freshly made pasta, pizza, meat and fish always cooked on the spot. The report is made up of blocks of 8/10 rooms with bathroom, the beds are a square and a half, spring mattresses, super relaxing in my opinion. Good cleanliness, sufficient coffee, acceptable .. sea convenient from any area of the resort. It is also possible to have lunch at the restaurant on the beach with a few less dishes, but it still offers quality. Recommended for all families and not.

Very nice place, including very clean facility and very nice sea. flaw in the kitchen not exactly at the height and in bad alcoholic beverages

A nice looking Resort but Definitely not suitable for people of reduced mobility or in a wheelchair , unlike what we were advised by Thomas Cook who said it was definitely suitable, place is extremely Hilly and loads of steps , of which you have to do at least 2 sets of each to get to the beach or show at night , the paths are in a poor condition and poorly lit and I myself took a fall one night due to this and ended up moving Hotels .

The perfect place to relax. The area of the hotel is spacious. Children have swimming pools and slides. This area is so big that the impression is that you are out of season. Silence, peace, sea. Nobody bothers anyone. There are no sun lounger reservations. Food very good.

A lot has changed, unfortunately not for the better.

Somehow you feel "second class" now and it wasn't just me. A pity.....

Lunch, as well as afternoon coffee with small snacks, is served on the beach. Worth mentioning, the flatbread freshly baked by two local women in different flavors. (Garlic flatbread )

The animation is unobtrusive, the evening program is now more for children.
The location has also been relocated and is now located directly at the upper pool.
The security is questionable, since the entire technology (lighting bridges, cables etc.) does not look like "norm".

Great diving school on site (Eurodivers), which also offers snorkelers.

Conclusion: Despite the great diving school and the really great reef, I will for the time being refrain from going there again.

Maybe in a year or two again, hoping for a positive change.

Current:
In 2019 we were again on vacation at the Utopia Beach Club. A lot has been done here to the benefit of the guests. The bungalows below on the right are leased to VeraClub from Italy. These guests have their own reception desk (see photos). With the money that the lease brings in, Mister Sharif (the owner of the hotel) has arranged for considerable extensions and renovations.

Renovations of the apartments and rooms are in full swing. Without bothering the guests, all respect. Paths and gardens are being redesigned. There are hardworking hands at work everywhere. And that without restrictions for the guests. When you talk to the staff, you are surprised how much they support Mister Sharif. Feedback that every employer in Germany does not get so quickly.

Everyone sees and notices that the Sharif family makes significant investments. And that goes down well with the employees as well as the guests. The food has gotten better, but not yet ideal. How it works is shown in the restaurant for the VeraClub. All guests from the Utopia Beach Club who have booked all inclusive can have dinner in this restaurant. Provided you register this with the customer manager (Mister Ali). He writes and books this dinner in her room in a light French accent.

If you go to the table, you can't get past Mister Ali, he speaks to every guest and asks if everything is okay. Whether you can do something or help with a problem. YES, Mister Ali is the soul of the hotel, thank you Mister Ali.

Here you can see and taste what the chefs have on it, if they want and are allowed to. We know this standard from Germany and it should be available in the Utopia Beach Club without any surcharge (money).
Shortly before we left, there was an event with delicacies from the sea. Here you could see how the kitchen, i.e. eating, could look like in the future.
Yes, there is a lot going on here for the benefit of the guests.
I hope the effort and work will bring the hotel the desired success.

The Euro Divers dive center is still one of the best. Marion and Bernhard Lang have played a major part in this success.
Because the divers come to Utopia Beach Club mainly because of you.
Here you are among friends and have been for years. People meet here at annual intervals.

Thanks to the still intact reef that has to endure a lot. Because guests in the neighboring hotel as well as in your own hotel do not always obey the rules.

Here, the owner families really have to take action and send guests home if they don't comply.
Because the damage and the dirt caused by the boats (and I deliberately address the crew members) is considerable. There should also be a reduction in the number of diving centers on the north reef, because they not only leave dirt behind, but also scare away the fish due to the boat noise there.

Super nice reef we had dolphins in the house reef for 3 days. It was just great, it was the 8th time we went to the Utopia Beach Club. Bernhard and Marion Lang, the operators of the diving center, do everything for the customers. Thanks to all Ayman, Sharky and everyone else. We will be back.

We booked at Utopia Beach Resort this year as well. And we are already looking forward to a great time there. Unfortunately it is getting harder and harder to get a direct flight to Marsa Alam. And if so, then the providers can pay great for it. No old hand can be carted by bus from Hurghada to Utopia Beach.

The staff is distinguished and the hotel doctor is very active, but I had a problem in the cleanliness of the rooms, as the room was cleaned after 3 days of stay and it was not good and the sheets were not changed, which led to the accumulation of ants on the bed and my skin allergy for 3 days out of the 4 days I stayed in the hotel and when The complaint is that the room was not cleaned well either, and insects are a normal thing due to the vegetarian nature of the hotel, and more than one person has complained for this reason without moving from the hotel management

Very beautifull! Although a little dated it is a really nice place, quiet and the staff is very kind. Splendid coral reef and excellent Diving center. In November the climate is ideal, a nice warm sun but not too much. Recommended.
