A nice looking Resort but Definitely not suitable for people of reduced mobility or in a wheelchair , unlike what we were advised by Thomas Cook who said it was definitely suitable, place is extremely Hilly and loads of steps , of which you have to do at least 2 sets of each to get to the beach or show at night , the paths are in a poor condition and poorly lit and I myself took a fall one night due to this and ended up moving Hotels .

immense resort, abandoned a little to itself. I would have liked a greater attention to detail, as the staff was used daily in cleaning or gardening, I noticed carelessness in different environments. just think of the dirty or mostly torn beach mats, the instant coffee bags available in the EXPIRED room, the obligation to share the table in the dining room with other 6/7 people. small things, perhaps, but overall they made this village less stellar than I had described.

With my wife and our girls we spent a week in late October 2018 and we had a great time ... the hotel and the rooms are very clean and well-kept and the sea with direct access to the coral reef is fabulous.
Ali, the hotel manager welcomed us in an excellent way and was always there to check that everything was for the best ..... and the only time we needed a problem with the tour operator, there he solved it in no time, thanks also to Kamal in charge of the taxi service in the hotel. If you want to go on an excursion, contact him !!
On the beach there are the guys who manage sunbeds and towels, those who deal with massages and beauty center and also the guys with whom you can go quad biking and camel riding.
Max for the quads and Sofy for the camel are really good and our excursions were very nice and fun.
For food, however, they must certainly improve .. but in March a new area of the hotel with an Italian restaurant will be ready !!!

The perfect place to relax. The area of the hotel is spacious. Children have swimming pools and slides. This area is so big that the impression is that you are out of season. Silence, peace, sea. Nobody bothers anyone. There are no sun lounger reservations. Food very good.

A lot has changed, unfortunately not for the better.

Somehow you feel "second class" now and it wasn't just me. A pity.....

Lunch, as well as afternoon coffee with small snacks, is served on the beach. Worth mentioning, the flatbread freshly baked by two local women in different flavors. (Garlic flatbread )

The animation is unobtrusive, the evening program is now more for children.
The location has also been relocated and is now located directly at the upper pool.
The security is questionable, since the entire technology (lighting bridges, cables etc.) does not look like "norm".

Great diving school on site (Eurodivers), which also offers snorkelers.

Conclusion: Despite the great diving school and the really great reef, I will for the time being refrain from going there again.

Maybe in a year or two again, hoping for a positive change.

In 2019 we were again on vacation at the Utopia Beach Club. A lot has been done here to the benefit of the guests. The bungalows below on the right are leased to VeraClub from Italy. These guests have their own reception desk (see photos). With the money that the lease brings in, Mister Sharif (the owner of the hotel) has arranged for considerable extensions and renovations.

Renovations of the apartments and rooms are in full swing. Without bothering the guests, all respect. Paths and gardens are being redesigned. There are hardworking hands at work everywhere. And that without restrictions for the guests. When you talk to the staff, you are surprised how much they support Mister Sharif. Feedback that every employer in Germany does not get so quickly.

Everyone sees and notices that the Sharif family makes significant investments. And that goes down well with the employees as well as the guests. The food has gotten better, but not yet ideal. How it works is shown in the restaurant for the VeraClub. All guests from the Utopia Beach Club who have booked all inclusive can have dinner in this restaurant. Provided you register this with the customer manager (Mister Ali). He writes and books this dinner in her room in a light French accent.

If you go to the table, you can't get past Mister Ali, he speaks to every guest and asks if everything is okay. Whether you can do something or help with a problem. YES, Mister Ali is the soul of the hotel, thank you Mister Ali.

Here you can see and taste what the chefs have on it, if they want and are allowed to. We know this standard from Germany and it should be available in the Utopia Beach Club without any surcharge (money).
Shortly before we left, there was an event with delicacies from the sea. Here you could see how the kitchen, i.e. eating, could look like in the future.
Yes, there is a lot going on here for the benefit of the guests.
I hope the effort and work will bring the hotel the desired success.

The Euro Divers dive center is still one of the best. Marion and Bernhard Lang have played a major part in this success.
Because the divers come to Utopia Beach Club mainly because of you.
Here you are among friends and have been for years. People meet here at annual intervals.

Thanks to the still intact reef that has to endure a lot. Because guests in the neighboring hotel as well as in your own hotel do not always obey the rules.

Here, the owner families really have to take action and send guests home if they don't comply.
Because the damage and the dirt caused by the boats (and I deliberately address the crew members) is considerable. There should also be a reduction in the number of diving centers on the north reef, because they not only leave dirt behind, but also scare away the fish due to the boat noise there.

Super nice reef we had dolphins in the house reef for 3 days. It was just great, it was the 8th time we went to the Utopia Beach Club. Bernhard and Marion Lang, the operators of the diving center, do everything for the customers. Thanks to all Ayman, Sharky and everyone else. We will be back.

We booked at Utopia Beach Resort this year as well. And we are already looking forward to a great time there. Unfortunately it is getting harder and harder to get a direct flight to Marsa Alam. And if so, then the providers can pay great for it. No old hand can be carted by bus from Hurghada to Utopia Beach.

The staff is distinguished and the hotel doctor is very active, but I had a problem in the cleanliness of the rooms, as the room was cleaned after 3 days of stay and it was not good and the sheets were not changed, which led to the accumulation of ants on the bed and my skin allergy for 3 days out of the 4 days I stayed in the hotel and when The complaint is that the room was not cleaned well either, and insects are a normal thing due to the vegetarian nature of the hotel, and more than one person has complained for this reason without moving from the hotel management

Super great hotel with very friendly staff. Great beach where you can shallow in the great crystal clear sea. Very child friendly hotel. One can only recommend.

Me and my partner came here for our first holiday and we were not disappointed . The whole place is beautiful the reception, restaurants, entertainment, room and the beach is gorgeous. We booked for a bungalow and it was clean light and lovely with the most amazing sea view. Everywhere is spotless even the beach toilets are immaculate. The staff are truly amazing and each and every one of them dedicated. The only thing I am disappointed in is that we our tour operator isn't listing utopia beach, so we can't book another stay yet.

Very beautifull! Although a little dated it is a really nice place, quiet and the staff is very kind. Splendid coral reef and excellent Diving center. In November the climate is ideal, a nice warm sun but not too much. Recommended.

The hotel is good for the price
But the beach has a very weed, weird one

On the whole okay. Only with the cleanliness in the restaurants it is not so good. Tables are indeed cleared away, but neither the tablecloth changed if mended or the tables are not wiped. The crumbs from the previous guest, are still at the table. Furthermore, the plastic cups in the beach bar are already so gray and worn. Unappetizing! And, please DO NOT take "W-LAN" for 14 for the week. It just works every now and then and you keep falling out.

What a fantastic REEF! It is the first hotel structure in the bay of Utopia Beach, a very beautiful beach. It has a very well-equipped Diving Center with barges for underwater excursions, professional and well managed. The recently renovated building structure has greatly improved the lives within the village and integrates seamlessly with the landscape many internal streets and a shopping center make it pleasant to walk inside. It's nice to see how carefully, (day and night) everything is kept tidy and clean. The staff is a lot, prepared and unobtrusive. The buffet has also improved a lot, lots of vegetables and fresh fruit, exceptional bread and desserts. His strength and 'easy access to the outside without Reef diving and opportunity' to reach directly a few meters from the beach. Super recommended for snorkeling and diving lovers. (I enclose some photos of many fish that can easily be encountered)

Seriously one of the most lovely beach resorts I have ever stayed. The rooms are spacious, food very good, many activites on land and sea, and most importantly very safe. They are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of guests and staff against Covid 19 The pools and beaches here are amazing. It is perfect for any age as there are activities for children and adults. I cannot recommend it enough, it truly is an amazing resort. Lastly, staff is friendly and can help with anything you need!

A great dive location. Beautiful house reef. And hotel in a word great. Good food . Rooms cleaned every day. Clean towels and sheets. Staff does its very best. And last but not least the beach boys. Not super luxurious but everything you need with a very pleasant atmosphere.

It's really a coral paradise. There are dolphins in front of the sharks, and the coral reefs are here to reach nearby and at low depths. For snorkeling I highly recommend. The staff also speaks fairly well in Czech.

Gentle people, the hotel may need a little refurbishment.

The hotel has done a lot to the good. Unfortunately, it is on the beach , here you stay so most of the time , NOTHING happens. The beach chairs are still in poor condition and the windbreak is as bad as never. In the Pensee it is cleaner and tidier.

Still a nice all inclusive facility, but the food you notice the 3.5 stars. Good diving base with nice house reef.

Old fashioned hotel (build in 1997) but still good, little bit wore out rooms. It is my first visit in Egypt, so I cannot compare with other hotels. Food was very good, their diner salads are perfect. Coca cola drinks everywhere, vine and beer were ok. Wifi paid, but for one week 18USD, not so bad, and is working in the swimming pools and also on the beach. See perfect for snorkeling and worm. From 13-17, temperature over 37 degrees of Celsius. First 10-15 meters is 1 m depth, so for small children ideal.

I was with my girlfriend on vacation in this structure and we recently returned.
A structure that presents itself, with the road full of holes and those who travel that road must do slaloms to avoid the holes.
Arrived in the structure, you say very beautiful, as the part of the reception and the part overlooking the pool are very well cared for.
Once you enter the corridors leading to the rooms you see that the structure is very old, as there are pieces of plaster that have fallen, cracks in the walls and even some broken floor tiles.
The rooms are a bit run down, with little maintenance and old furniture.
The rooms to the left of the hall, where we were, have a sort of control unit, or I don't know what exactly, turned on 24 hours a day which makes a tremendous noise, we had to change rooms and luckily the day after we had it. they changed, because from the noise we had in the room we could not sleep, moreover we passed in front of it even with the motorbike and it also smelled of tar.
The umbrellas on the beach are very close to each other, we have always taken the umbrella in the first row or in the last row, at least we had more space.
But it must be said that they are building and renovating the structure, so something will change, but in my experience, I cannot give more than three stars, even if the staff deserves much more, at least 4 stars.
They are all courteous and ready to solve any problem.
At the restaurant, you always eat the same things more or less, but nothing bad here, you are a little surprised when you see, between one shift and another, turn the placemat and set the table for the next people, certainly for how many people there will be to eat, they don't have enough places, but at least a sponge with a little bit of cleaning product would be a little better.
The coral reef is wonderful, there are also boats full of divers to dive and you can admire many fish, I recommend the entrance to the left, on the side of the pier.
Not much entertainment sighted, so if one goes to relax and have no breakups, this is for you.
The evening shows are very nice.

I highly recommend the desert motorbike and the horseback ride on the beach, both departing from the beach (5 stars for these excursions).
If you are there to relax I recommend the massage center and a nice face mask, all at the hotel spa, small but new and nice.

I hope that the improvements they will make will pull the structure up a bit and why not, come back in a few years and see how much it has changed

End of July 2 weeks very nice days. The entire crew, from the chef to the staff on the beach - all very friendly and helpful. Have with my 2 children alone on the beach with the beautiful house reef the corals and the diverse underwater world marvel. The hotel and the offer is from a recommendation. Maybe I'll be back soon.

Apart from the rooms that are large but not very functional, zero drawers, small shower, everything else is ok. Beautiful sea that degrades slowly, great food, the best I found in Egypt, beautiful pools. Not suitable for singles but for families or couples

Very nicely laid out holiday resort. Spacious rooms with a terrace. Lots of greenery, flowers. Swimming pools, access to the sandy beach, sunbeds and umbrellas. A beautiful coral reef within reach. Friendly service and great food. I would recommend.

Hotel with a very good price / performance ratio.
Since our last stay in 2013, major renovations and investments have been made and continue to be. Most of the bungalows have been modernized and also equipped with new flat screen TVs. The southern part of the main house (room numbers 300 ...) is currently being renovated, as are the rooms between the two pools. But the work is not unpleasant, everything goes very smoothly. However, the rooms in the northern part of the main building (200s) are still waiting for a renovation. But even then, there is currently still the problem of the power generator in the immediate vicinity of these rooms. The generator belongs to the neighboring hotel and should actually already be out of order. Therefore I would not have rooms with a number 200 given to me at the moment. But this is also negotiable with the reception.
From April a large proportion of the bungalows are rented to the Italian VeraClub and are therefore only available to German guests to a very limited extent. The Italians are also getting a new reception and a restaurant.
The food has improved a lot since our last stay. Of course, higher-priced hotels offer more choice, but we were completely satisfied due to the pleasant price level.
We always found enough edible food.
The staff were always friendly and courteous and also happy to have a joke.
The number of loungers and umbrellas on the beach were renewed and at least doubled.
The diving center is also excellent
(Euro Divers) under German management. Everything is well organized and very uncomplicated. There are discounted diving packages for groups of 7 or more divers, but these must be booked and paid for before arrival. The house reef is still very beautiful. Due to the offered zodiac trips, different sections of the reef can always be dived. (One way 4 euros / person, there and back 8 euros).
Bus and boat dives are also offered, so there should be something for everyone.

The Utopia Beach Club is in one complex with an Italian hotel.

However, I think the design of the Italian hotel is much nicer.

A very nice hotel, but there are a few things that can be removed with a few simple steps, such as crooked lanterns or something.
Unfortunately, the rooms are not that wow. The beds squeak and you can hear a generator running. The rooms are huge overall, but only half of it is used. Personally, I was missing things as small as a table that could be used as a system.
The slides are unfortunately rather poor and it is very easy to get injured.

The food in the main restaurant is not warm either.
There is the possibility of dining in an Italian, Mexican or Arabic restaurant once during the entire holiday.
The Italian restaurant is just what the Italians have to offer in the restaurant. I personally find this a lot nicer. It's just the little things. Something like, for example, I just put the rice on the buffet or I put some tomatoes on it as a decoration.

I personally found the Mexican restaurant not that appealing. The Mexican and Arabic restaurants alternate on the beach. Unfortunately, like during the day, drinks are only served in plastic cups, including the wine.
It is generally very dark in the restaurant on the beach.
