Urbani Truffles is the way to go for truffles. Their service and customer service is impeccable. And, who doesn't love fresh white truffles? Next time I will also try their truffle butter, which I hear is outstanding!
My first cooking class, expected a simple step by step dish, and ended up getting the best cooking and eating experience, would definitely recommend and come back.
Ordered white truffles and they were not as advertised. I received 4 tiny truffles that totaled one ounce, and one of those was slimy and moldy. Also, they apparently delete or don't post feedback that is negative - they did not post my review on their site, leaving customers with the impression that all reviews are 5 star, and none are negative. Very deceptive. Avoid.

Disappointed, to say the least. I read the directions for shipping, got the 'shipment notificaton', planned my special dinner and then nothing. They didn't even tender the package to FedEx until 36 hours after creating the shipping label and sending me a shipment notification that my 'next day' shipment was on its way. When I contacted them, they didn't really seem to care. For a high end, luxury item I expected better customer service. I won't be going back.
Bought the white and the burgundy truffles for my son's birthday and they came quickly and well packaged. We preferred the burgundy more than the white for the flavor. He enjoyed the samples of truffle oil. We will both order again! Our favorite new ingredient.

Best truffles directly to my door. Game changer for many dishes I love to make.
Good delivery, packaging and good jarred/canned products. Truffle oils are average. Black winter truffles lacked flavor. White truffles had gone bad and should not have been sent to a customer in the first place. I literally wasted money on those since I had to shave chunks before I could get something edible.Their customer service is utterly useless. I also think the company is blocking bad reviews on their website. After my terrible experience with white truffles, I filled out a review on their website as well. When you click submit a message pops up saying it will be reviewed prior to posting. But it was never posted! I followed up but they didn t bother to respond. In fact, their website has anything but good reviews! Then, my account disappeared, yet I am still receiving their promotional emails. I think Urbani may have established a good brand for itself in the restaurant industry but they are totally milking it with their BtoC business using questionable practices. Shame on you Urbani! I hope other consumers also notice your unethical practices.
IN RESPONSE TO BUSINESS S RESPONSE:
I may have made an error in recalling the type of black truffle I ordered, which by the way, I didn t have a quality issue with as stated before. However, had Urbani not deactivated my account, I would have been able to extract the correct information from account records of past orders instead of relying on memory.
Going back to the white truffles that were poor quality - given the luxury nature and price point of this product, it shouldn t have been sent the way it was from the get go. I cannot recall seeing a return label (doesn t mean it wasn t there) but since I d already planned my dinner around this product, I wasn t in a position to send it back and buy a new batch or ask for a refund. I simply assumed a luxury product would be delivered in pristine condition. Wouldn t anyone? That was not the case.
Also, there is still no word on what Urbani did with my low rated review, nor any explanation on why there are no other low rated reviews on their website (what are the chances of that unless they are blocking the bad reviews and not posting them)
Anyway, consumers can make their own judgment call. Thanks to social media, they can read about the bad experiences too.
Every Valentines day when I am in a relationship I always order a fresh truffle to have a quiet dinner for two at home; rather than deal with going out. I have used Urbani for this for many years as well as for other times when I need truffles. The quality is great and the service is prompt.
This is where I get my truffle, truffle chip, caviar, truffle oil and a whole lot more. Fresh truffle is my favorite food.
Urbani offers it from Perigord, Burgundy, Alba, Umbria, Piedmont, Australia truffles. It s as fresh as 36 hrs from the ground to your door!

Don't be fooled by 'NEXT DAY Delivery.
I placed an order for white truffles on Thursday.
I wanted the truffles delivered on Friday for an important occasion.
The Urbani website said 'NEXT DAY delivery', so I placed the order.
The truffles weren't delivered on Friday or Saturday or Sunday or Monday.
When I asked why, Urbani said 'orders from 3:00pm Thursday will be shipped on Monday unless Saturday delivery' is selected.
If I wanted next day, i.e. Friday delivery, why would I select Saturday delivery?
Just checked the Urbani website again. Across the top of the truffle page it says: Order Fresh products by 3pm (Mon-Fri) and we'll ship the same day. It does not say 'orders from 3:00pm Thursday will be shipped on Monday unless Saturday delivery'.
Very deceptive.
Best Quality! I've been a loyal Urbani customer for years and always look forward to white truffles season. Urbani offers the freshest white truffles and delivers with impeccable service. Whenever I did research into cheaper truffles, I ended up coming back to Urbani since they're unbeatable.

I ordered from Urbani online and couldn't be more pleased with their incredible products, great online experience and wonderful customer service. The assortment of incredible caviars, and the best truffles and truffle butter for pasta is astounding! I am fortunate to live in the beautiful state of Montana, but unfortunately I have zero options for purchasing fine goods locally, such that Urbani carries. My husband and I both have birthdays right before and after the Holidays but we will be eating very well thanks to them!
While truffles are not cheap, their prices are fair and better than most retail places in the City, where their truffles are often not well kept or dried out. It really is the best place to buy, and the staff is very polite and helpful.
First timer to any kind of Truffle experience and what a delightful one it was, Received my order pronto even ordering late in the day! Made Brunch for 4 today and used a dollop of the White Truffle butter on top amd what an amazing discovery of flavor! So rich and decadent but didn't overpower other flavors just nice Crown on top kinda taste!! Thankyou Urbani Bravo!! Will definitely be ordering again and actually was a pretty reasonable cost point given that overnight shipping is $$ it was well worth it
