Good delivery, packaging and good jarred/canned products. Truffle oils are average. Black winter truffles lacked flavor. White truffles had gone bad and should not have been sent to a customer in the first place. I literally wasted money on those since I had to shave chunks before I could get something edible.Their customer service is utterly useless. I also think the company is blocking bad reviews on their website. After my terrible experience with white truffles, I filled out a review on their website as well. When you click submit a message pops up saying it will be reviewed prior to posting. But it was never posted! I followed up but they didn t bother to respond. In fact, their website has anything but good reviews! Then, my account disappeared, yet I am still receiving their promotional emails. I think Urbani may have established a good brand for itself in the restaurant industry but they are totally milking it with their BtoC business using questionable practices. Shame on you Urbani! I hope other consumers also notice your unethical practices.

IN RESPONSE TO BUSINESS S RESPONSE:
I may have made an error in recalling the type of black truffle I ordered, which by the way, I didn t have a quality issue with as stated before. However, had Urbani not deactivated my account, I would have been able to extract the correct information from account records of past orders instead of relying on memory.
Going back to the white truffles that were poor quality - given the luxury nature and price point of this product, it shouldn t have been sent the way it was from the get go. I cannot recall seeing a return label (doesn t mean it wasn t there) but since I d already planned my dinner around this product, I wasn t in a position to send it back and buy a new batch or ask for a refund. I simply assumed a luxury product would be delivered in pristine condition. Wouldn t anyone? That was not the case.
Also, there is still no word on what Urbani did with my low rated review, nor any explanation on why there are no other low rated reviews on their website (what are the chances of that unless they are blocking the bad reviews and not posting them)
Anyway, consumers can make their own judgment call. Thanks to social media, they can read about the bad experiences too.
