In my Top 5, for AMAZING restaurants in the Old Market. It's within walking distance for my guests at the Embassy Suites downtown. Consistently GREAT food and GREAT service. The young lady that is hostessing named Anna, is a ROCK STAR!!!

Cute part if town. Immediate seating for early dinner. Crowd and waiting started by 7pm. Wait staff was great to bring taste of beer before ordering. Pretzel crusted cheese curds we're an absolute best choice. Ribeye was good seasonal veggies could have been more chef inspired. Medium cook hamburger was also good but was expecting more flavor. Seems like a safe choice for a safe substantial meal but lacked a bit on creative combinations

Just because of the rude attitude of the bouncer. Never go back to this place

Had a great experience here with my family in from out of town. Beer is delicious, server was very knowledgeable. Food was terrific, server again was very prompt professional and friendly. A MUST TRY.

I've visited four breweries in Omaha and Upstream definitely has the most unique beers. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but as a beer lover it was great! The atmosphere is really nice. It feels almost like an upscale Granite City. (I say that in the best way).

Love this place every time I go. One of the best root beers in town.

If you guys don't know what is greek salad, please google it. When I order greek salad, I want greek salad not goat salad.

I loooove Upstream! It's our favorite bar to frequent. The beer and food are great! Lol the inside gives one a look at their brewery. Very cool!

Visited Upstream several time on our visit to Omaha. We loved their Thai Shrimp pizza! Also really enjoyed their brews. We favored the Cucumber Belgian and the Blood Orange Wit. Our waitress Geneva was wonderful. She was so sweet and her laughter was contagious.

Great place for casual dining. Awesome selection of housemade craft beers. The Upstream mac & cheese was excellent. The pork tenderloin sandwich was great too. Very spacious dining areas. Was crowded, but we didn't wait more than 5 minutes. The wait staff is exceptional.

A big, big shout out and thank you to Maria. We had customers visiting our company from overseas and needed to give a small presentation to them using a t.v. on very short notice. Even though Upstream's areas were pretty much already reserved and they had no extra servers available, Maria was able to work magic and offered us an area with the t.v. so we could have the presentation. She went above and beyond to help us out when she could have just said they had nothing available. We ended up not needing the area and had the presentation at the hotel, but took our customers to Upstream afterwards for food and drinks. Maria showed us unbeatable customer service, which is not something you will get from every company. They have made a loyal customer out of us and have our highest recommendations to anyone looking for a conference area or a restaurant with great food/drinks and superior service!!! Thanks again Maria!!

Service was decent, but the food honestly wasn t that great. Got the pot roast, and my friend had the falafel- we weren t super impressed.

Good beer, good food, good company abounds at this restaurant. Bring a few buddies and work your way through some of the local beers (What else are you going to do in Nebraska, anyway?)

Had the grilled salmon, good dinner, and the beer is worth it.

Really great! They were very accommodating for us with our need for a high chair for our baby in the outside area. Pumpkin brew was delicious.

The fish & chips, gouda beer soup, & pot roast were very good. The salmon, while visually appealing, was overwhelmed by the seasonings. The Italian pizza on thin crust was tasty, but maybe a little more prosciutto ham could have been used for better flavor! The service was good & the magician's visit was fascinating & fun for the whole family!!

We were visiting the area for an event and excited to try this place out because of so many good reviews online but found it lacking. They were out of fish and chips (which we weren t told until after placing our order), half of our party got cold food, orders were wrong and overall the food was subpar. We had to flag down the server for missing food (after the runner just dropped stuff off and left without asking if we got it all), ask twice for a kids menu and ask twice to correct an incorrect order. In our server s defense, they clearly had him working too many parties of 6 or more.

This place has delicious and original food and brews...and the staff is above reproach. Comfortable, clean, and modern all describe Upstream Brewing Company. Stop in for grub or just a brew. I went with a large group on a Monday evening and we walked right to our table that we had just reserved an hour or so beforehand. Thanks, Upstream - I'll be back!

Decent food decent service but there are better options

The service was not very good, but the food was delicious. There were plenty of options on the menu and the prices were not outrageous when I went. My only complaint is that we waited 30+ minutes for our food.

This place is all right. The food is usually okay and the drinks pretty good. I find it expensive for what you get. They would get better marks from me if they ever got reservations correct for us. We always call ahead because we need special physical accommodations and they always agree. However, when we ask for no booth or stairs, low seating... They *always* try to seat us in a high booth. It's frustrating and I don't think of personally plan a dinner there. I go there because my family arranges a gathering once a year or so... and without fail, the experience is the same each time.

Good beer, steak wasn't too bad, and Sports on the screens.

I ve written a reviews on OpenTable for Upstream so I figured make as well make a review here as well.

I continuously go back to Upstream not only because of the incredibly convenient location, but because of the usually great service (we all have our bad days sometimes) and equally great food.

Sometimes the noise can be a little loud, but the upstairs bar is perfect sometimes for the get-away atmosphere as the noise level tends to be far less, especially if there is no parties.

I do have to question getting ID d three times last night (I wish I looked that young still), but it is what it is I assume - other than that, thank you as usual Upstream!

Love this place. Beer gouda soup is incredible and the scotch ale never disappoints.

Usually have good experience here but wasn't very impressed this time. Food was room temperature. Beer was okay. Wanted to play pool but we were told the whole room was booked for a different event and we couldn't play even though no one was in the room..

I did not expect such a great menu at a place with 'Brewing' in the name. Our table had a wide variety of dishes and, with the exception of one steak, we all enjoyed our entrees. The root beer and scotch ale were both very good, as was the IPA. The peanut butter chocolate cake sounds a lot better than it was (dry and far too rich) but the caramel bread pudding was unbelievably good.

The beer was great and the waitstaff was friendly, the food was good but the burger meat was burned when asked for medium.

The brewmaster tour was one of the most informative process overviews I've heard.

Quite an enjoyable place to eat and have a pint on my recent trip to Nebraska. The cheeseburger and fries were very good, the beer was delicious and the service was exceptional.

Chicken fried chicken is the best. Also their bread pudding is phenomenal. 2 people can share it.

The food is amazing here!! I had the Italian shrimp bowl! It was delicious and healthy. Also had the Smoked salmon sandwich! Seasoned perfectly! The Southwest beef with poblano soup was to die for! And great fries!! Casey was our waiter and he was a pro from hello! Oh great beer had a flight AND love the atmosphere! Wish we had this place in Kansas City!

I was in town for a conference a couple weeks back and ended up visiting this brewpub a couple times. It boasts a beautiful setting in downtown Omaha, a lovely patio and a spacious interior. The staff is friendly and the beer is on point. I will certainly be back if I am ever in Omaha again.

The beer is not that great. Had a Weiss beer that was just too tart, and the description made no mention of that. I've had beer in Germany and never had a weissbeer that tasted anything like that. Food is good and service is average. I have had similar experiences in more than one location.

A favorite evening place of mine. Service is consistently above par. Prices that are reasonable. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.

Great place, friendly staff, and you have to try the row of 12 sampler!

Food here is rather bland. Ordered the pork carnitas sandwich as it seemed like one of the more tasty dishes, but there was no real flavor to it. The smashed potatoes were seasoned with only pepper.

Loved this place. Tried almost every beer and all were really good. Food rocked too!
