Very beautiful place with great atmosphere, great for Omaha experience. The servers are nice, but seem distracted by something else besides the customers. Maybe its because we were there at a slower time of day between lunch and dinner. The food is good, but nothing we had stood out as spectacular. The best part is the fine beer that they brew in house. Go for the night life and be happy.

Could not try the beer, as in addition to being 42 years old with a greying beard, I was required to have a valid driver's license. The pricey iced tea I substituted was watered down to the point where it lacked any tea flavor. The fried pickle chips were made with sweet pickles (a detail missing on the menu), and were left overly long in the fryer. Given the continuous series of shortcomings, we opted to cut our losses and ask for the check without attempting entrees. Overall impression was that of a sports bar, with pricing aimed to take advantage of tourists willing to spend more for dressed-up tavern fare.

The bread pudding here is the best I've ever had. I'm traveling from Oklahoma and I will come back just for the bread pudding.

Pretzel encrusted cheese curds and gouda beer cheese soup. Fantastic!

In a great old district of Omaha, large venue but still warm and friendly. Great beer selection with better than average taste. Food was very good and came out quickly. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend NOT sitting at a bar table. We seem to have been forgotten.

Had to get my ordered drinks from the bar 12 minutes after I ordered the food was really good but the idea of being forgotten stinks. Can you justify tipping? So what is the correct amount?

We were craving some fish and chips so we headed over to upstream brewing company to give it a try. My wife's fish was so tough that she couldn't even chew it! Manager was cool enough to comp us for the meal. Cool environment but food experience was poor

One of the better breweries in town. Food ranges from good to great, beer selection is large and varied. Home made brews on tap, as well as other brews in bottle. Nice upstairs patio for good weather.

The food was ok and the beer was GREAT! I can't give 5 stars though because there isn't a changing table in the men's restroom! Also when our food arrived the waitress put our toddlers food in front of me because the plate was hot. MEN CAN DO EVERYTHING WOMEN CAN DO WITH THEIR CHILDREN!

We had a great visit. Sorry I hit the wrong Star. I proposed to my wife there 16 years ago. We love Upstream.

Solid bar, lot to eat and lot to drink! Staffs are very friendly. If you are into light ale, this place is good.

Stroganoff had good flavor but the "beef" tips were gristle. Brownie desert was stale. Beer is good.

We had a great experience here with friends! The food was pretty good, the service was adequate, the atmosphere is very good. I would have given it 5 stars, but little things prevented me from doing so: the menu I had looked like it had gone through the washer, my drink went dry a few times, I saw the waitress three times (order, check, and change). Usually at a restaurant with upper-middle menu pricing you'd have professional servers who have an outgoing personality who provide stellar service. It wasn't bad service; it was noticeably adequate. I would go here again for the food and the atmosphere and location. I bet we'd have better service next time.

3 of the 4 in our party liked the food they ordered, the other didn't because the pot roast was way too tough to chew. Our server was unattentive and didn't check on us for most of the time we were there.

I ve been coming to Upstream for years. The servers are awesome as always. But KC has always been the best. He s energetic Andy personable. This guy deserves a raise.

Excellent food and drinks!!! The beef and grains bowl was amazing as well as the pork schnitzel! Our server was friendly and funny.

Service was a bit slow, but the beers were good! I wouldn't say they have the best steaks, but all the restaurants in old town are serving "Omaha Steaks". Lively place which has a nice outside sitting area.

Came in one afternoon on a whim needing lunch. Sat at the bar and was served by Jill. One of the best bar waiters I've had in a long time. Beer is always good and lunch was good as well.

Wow. Upstream was amazing. Try the burgers and asiago cheese dip!

Wings were perfectly cooked,and not like every other Frank's red-hot bar.

I dont know how any place can give u really cold food !!!!

Take so long to get our food and when we got it was so cold and no taste at all .

I can t say enough good things about this place!!! I work for a local hotel, and will always recommend this place to my guests. I know they will have amazing food, great service and just have an enjoyable evening while in Omaha. Every time they come back to the hotel they rave about the food, they can t believe how nice and friendly the staff is. It never fails. Every time. Keep it up!

Upscale restaurant, nice ambiance, excellent food and service.

Stopped by Upstream in September while passing through Omaha and was so glad we did. We were looking for a brewery with socially distanced seating, and they not only have a large interior but two outdoor seating areas as well. We sat on the roof for lunch, had awesome service, several really good beers (Capitol Pale was my favorite), and shared tasty appetizers like the pretzel bites and beer cheese soup. All this while feeling safe and watching staff clean and sanitize tables and chairs after guests left. Highly recommend.

12 types of beer. Great food and service. I had the raspberry grilled chicken that was delicious and the price was not bad. Would recommend and visit again.

I didn't like my hamburger, there was blood on the bun and it wasn't hot. The bun was cold also. It had lettuce and tomato, but no onion. I went there because they charbroil them. Not your juicy delicious burger.

Decent beer, ok food. Staff seemed disengaged and had to ask multiple times what we ordered. Didn't get what we ordered (23 Oz beer vice 16 oz). Don't order the cheese curds, they're burnt.

Our server wasn't very keen on what was going on. 3 out of 4 of us ordered a flight. 2 of us ordered flight of 4. That was fine. One of us ordered the 12 flight. She wasn't told they were out of 3 of the beers so she was only brought 9. She asked to comp the price to $9 instead of $12. Our server didn't even respond to that. We weren't super impressed with any of the beers except the wheat one and we're and craft brew kind of crew. One of the orders was wrong, but that was fixed within in a few minutes. The burgers were sub-par. The buns aren't toasted or anything, just a plain white bun. There wasn't a lot of flavor in the burgers themselves either. The fries were average, better than the burger at least. 2 people got pasta and they said it was about average. It wasn't really worth the price, in my opinion. I expected a little better quality. The atmosphere was spot on though. Very cool looking. We made our reservation and got seated exactly on time on a Saturday night. When we got our bill, the flight of 12 wasn't comped so we flagged a guy down and said that was no problem but did the math wrong and still overcharged. We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped in en route to our home town in Troy, Michigan. The service was lighthearted and attentive. The menu exceeded our expectations, offering several meal options for vegetarians as well as the meat eaters in our family
We would definitely recommend this brewery to anyone (the beer was excellent as well).

Best gouda beer cheese soup. We eat it like fondue, just dip the bread in it.
We buy their bread by the loaf. Do Good. Eat there when we come for cws in June.

A preferred evening place. The service was very helpful and observant. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.

Loved Upstream. We started with the Hummus Plate, which couldn't have been better unless they brought it on refill! Next we had the Beet & Butternut Squash Salad, amazing. I couldn't get enough, although I do wish it had more beets and butternut squash... Finally we finished with the Mac & Cheese with added broccoli and blackened chicken. Delicious flavors, although the noodles were a little overcooked. But all in all... Yummy!

Love the ambiance! The pizza and steak are great! Have an in-house brewed beer. If don't want alcohol, try the in-house made rootbeer!
The bar tenders the night we were there were amazing!

Beer is good. The artichoke dip is phenomenal with their beer bread. Service was super friendly and the space is inviting.

Much better than the west Omaha location (which is good too). This one has a great atmosphere. The food quality was quite good as well. Average for food quantity and pricing as well. Service was good, at the level that one should expect when eating out.

Seating could be more comfortable, perhaps some minor noise deadening, otherwise good experience all around.

Hit this place up twice during July 4th weekend 2019. Great Service, food, and desert! Highly recommend!

We are currently sitting in the restaurant waiting for our tickets. We have been waiting for 20 minutes just to get our tickets to pay. Our server was nice, and he kept our drinks full, but the food was absolutely terrible. We were there for a bachelorette party. The woman of honor got a grilled chicken meal, but her chicken was burnt, her carrots were raw, and the rice was hard. Two if us ordered the macaroni and cheese, which was supposed to have ham, but has very little. Both dishes were also cold. I added chicken to mine but it was so burnt, it was like eating ash. It was also an extremely small piece of chicken, but it cost me an extra $5 to add. The total for my dish was $19.18 after tax, but it wasn't worth $5. We waited almost an hour for our food and it was terrible. In addition, our group, a small bachelorette party of only 7 people) were stuck in the corner on the upper level, surrounded by stacked chairs... not a very nice ambiance, especially considering we had a reservation. When we first seated, the server came straight away to ask for our drink orders, however we hadn't had a chance to look at the menu really yet. It was about 15 minutes before he came back for our drink and appetizer orders. Once we received our drinks and apps, it was nearly another 15 minutes before our food order was taken, then over half an hour wait for our food. We received refills on our water, but once we got food, the server never came back to take more drink orders. We each had only one alcoholic drink... for a bachelorette party. We would have ordered so much more and spent so much more money. After receiving our food, we did not see the server again until our food was finished, and by that time, we just asked for our tickets... again, taking more than 20 minutes to show up. The only highlight of our visit was our server's personality.

The IPA and pale ale were very good. The cheese and artichoke appetizer was very good.

We were slightly disappointed with the service and the pot roast, but we voiced our concerns to Chad, the general manager. Chad heard our concerns and was we were satisfied with our experience after he spoke with us and b listened to our concerns.

We are traveling through Omaha again next week and we will be back for the IPA but will choose a different entree.
