The filet mignon was just splendid! Would highly recommend.
Order "to go" was be prepared bary slowly. I wait about 15min. Just 4 star today.
This place is in walking distance from where I live. I usually go for beer and a burger but everything else looks really good on the menu. The beer is delicious; my fav is the Scotch ale and they have a great happy hour.
Plenty of seating indoors or outdoors. Brewpub that has multiple in-house creations. The four choice flight offered a chance to sample some of their seasonal and regular offerings. Their in house brewed root beer was weak and lacked carbonation and that "bite" a good root beer requires. My mixed drink, a spiced apple rum, was heavy on the rum and not much else, leaving a poor taste. Our appetizer of the pretzel bites paired well with the flight as did the perfectly prepared put roast and those were delivered quickly. We ordered the bread pudding dessert as well, but that had us waiting over twelve extra minutes, even requiring us to find our server to inquire what the hold up was. The manager realized the delay and comped the dessert, so that made up for the frustration. Overall we enjoyed the food, the inside dining experience and would recommend to others.
Out of town and decided because of the tasty sounding beer list, I would stop here. Had a very nice welcome and sat at the bar, from there I was not impressed one bit. If you are looking for an upscale brewery then by all means come here. If you are looking for a place to enjoy your company and have a couple drinks and a laugh, not your place. Bartenders sit on the other side of the bar and talk amongst themselves instead of interacting with their customers, almost an awkward interaction when they do come around. Idk not my feel for what I was expecting. Pizza says thin crust as well. If it weren't for the toppings it would fly away. Should be described as a flat bread. Oh well. Obviously will not recommend but the decor was nice so that's why I'm giving three stars.
Food was great. Nice selection of beers to chose from. I enjoy sitting up at the bar. You have a nice group of bartenders
Service was good and the blackened chicken pasta hit the spot.
Great service and food! We came in last minute with a large party the host, manager, and server were all awesome!
Good food. Quick service. Recommend by a local. Nice place
Excellent food, great beer, charming atmosphere and great service. I'm from out of state and found this easy to get too and had plenty of parking on the street. Had to pay for the parking in the meter but it was reasonable. Try this place you will like it.
In a big old converted warehouse with plenty of seating and a view of the fermenters this is a cool place.
The wait staff is friendly but the place is so big and there's so much going on I felt a little lost. That's why the 4 stars.
I have been there 4 times now and haven't had a bad meal.
The firehouse red is a great beer.
It's a good place for large parties.
Worked here as a server for a year before I moved to Florida. Still, to this day, one of my favorite jobs I ve had.
Building itself is absolutely beautiful, always loved being there. Three story restaurant, with gorgeous woodwork and beautiful main level bar. Upstairs bar and pool lounge is fantastic, the beer garden and upstairs deck are also beautiful especially on a summer evening.
Beer is fantastic, still miss it, don t drink anymore but always have to still have one when I visit Omaha. Loved the Passionfruit sour from a few years ago.
Working here taught me a ton about how to work hard, how to be fast and about giving good service, and professionalism. As a bartender now, I still know I learned a whole lot about work ethic from this place.
Management was strict but always consistent and professional which I very much appreciate and have not had at every job.
Overall, this place has a special spot in my heart and I always have to visit when I visit Omaha.
The quality of the steak was poor, service was great, but the food and menu are mediocre
The food and service were fantastic! I had the salmon sandwich and my husband had the slappy joe. While they were out of the beer I wanted, it was still a delightful lunch!! Highly recommend.
One of the best casual restaurants in the Old Market.
A bit off the beaten path and that makes for a nice ambience.
They have shuffled the menu over the many years I've been coming here and that can be a little frustrating at times when new found favorites are soon MIA.
Their Smoked Gouda Soup is the BEST anywhere! (It also makes for an excellent pasta sauce.) ;)
The bread served with the meals is always fresh.
Even when crowded, the sound is not overwhelming.
There is usually a wait in the evenings but worth it.
If you've never been there, give it a try.
Friendly and quick lunch service. Great kids menu with ice cream. Good beer!
Service was good. Food was bland. Extremely noisy, very difficult to carry on a conversation.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Decent beer. Their big bottle lineup is good.
Worst service ever. Didn't get our order right and server was never around. Won't go back to this place again.
Upstream brews some of the best local beers. If you have a chance try one of them on cask. From bar food to dinner dining has always been good. Friendly bar staff can answer questions on any of their beer choices. Upstream also offers a good happy hour offering beer and appetizer specials.
We really enjoyed this craft brewery, Nice drink selection, food was delicious and service was awesome! Go check it out!
Awesome food, wasn't too loud. Enjoyed their music selection. Great brunch.
I m only giving it 2 stars because the food was pretty good overall otherwise I would have given it a 1.. our sever was the absolute worst, it started off well until we ordered our food, we never again saw him until I kept Giving him the look like get our ticket here now. Ordered 2 kids meals never got the chocolate milk or the root beer float that go along with the meal. The pot roast and ribeye were both good, however vegetables were very undercooked, my kids couldn t eat them, they were too hard. Then finally after he walked by our table multiple times (not once asking how our food was, need a refill nothing) he showed up with the ticket. I asked to get dessert it was my husbands bday plus the kids meals came with root beer floats.. forever later he shows up with the desert to go so we leave get Home it was suppose to be brownie cheesecake and it was apple crisp. What?! How do you get that wrong. Also maybe they should get new menus they were so wrinkled and the protective case was so dirty, looks like they have had the same menus since they opened. Not sure we will ever go back, it s really gone down hill from what it use to be.
We stopped here for lunch and it was delicious. Our service was actually really slow and we had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken and our check to arrive and card to be processed. The food however came out fast. I had the pot roast and it was great.
Great service food was satisfactory but not fabulous.
I went around 17 years ago and it's really fast. Anyway, then the beer taste makhyeotgo groups, the atmosphere reminds awful good memories. Do you even look at the store boneyo haneungeo still well maintained. Anyway, I want to go there again. I don't know if I'm going to go to Omaha, but I want to go upstream and have a beer when I hear Omaha.
Great beer and even better food. Reasonably priced and beautiful atmosphere.
The beer menu is extensive with lots of offerings and decent in taste nothing to rave about but still good. The food menu is a little different which I found to be the case around all of Omaha ... however many things stuck out to me I wanted to try and the really nice waitress told me to go with the grain bowl and I wouldn't be disappointed- so I trusted her.
Amazing food and atmosphere at a very reasonable price.
Great beer selection. .fast service. ..food is great. ..nice ambience.
The food is really good here. We actually visited 3 times on our stay. However the kitchen closes at 9pm even though they are open later than that. The beer cheese soup was really good, as was the Jambalaya, Rib Eye and Mac & Cheese.
The Reuben sandwich was one of the worst in Omaha. Very thick heavy not grilled bread with skimpy filling. The atmosphere is nice and the beer is excellent.
Fantastic food, fast friendly service. Comfortable atmosphere. One of our favorite places.
I come for the smoked Gouda and blonde ale soup. 100% worth it.
The worse service ever,
Food ok NOTHING GREAT BUT just average.
Ordered 2 burgers but only received one.
No one came to apologize or to replace the order.
Not worth the money.
Amazing food, and a great atmosphere. Their beer selection has something for everyone, and the cooks awe me every time.
Been there several times. Beer is good. Not a big fan of the food. Numerous things get overcooked.
This is an incredible place. Just discovered the Sunday brunch. All you can eat buffet, complete with an omelette station and 6 different mimosas! Fresh salad, baked goods, bacon, carving station, chicken and waffles, and all so delicious!!! The bar is available for alcoholic drinks if you want something different from breakfast drinks :)
Normal service is also great. Best cheese curds I've ever had. The raspberry vinaigrette sauce is addictive. I just wished they'd give more for each order.
I like the Jackson St Jambalaya. Yes, it's Nebraska. I've also been to Louisiana like 30 times...They do a good job here. 5 stars...Most fun during Farmers Market :)
The beer battered fish is really beer battered. As soon as you take a bite into the cod, you truly taste the beer. Delicious! The server made sweet tea for me by adding some simple syrup because they don't serve sweet tea. The server didn't have to do this, but she did. She added just enough simple syrup which didn't make the tea overly sweet.
Really good food and even better beer. Slightly pricy but delicious all the same
Good service, but the beer was ok. Did not try the food
Food was excellent for all in our party. I found their use of hops mediocre. Pretty good work on malty brews. The could learn something from Topling Goliath in Decorah about hopping their ales.
Pot roast on the menu seemed a little odd, this not being a cafe...but I ordered it. Good thing the drink and company I enjoyed was far superior to the the beef!
Normally the food and service is spectacular, unfortunately tonight was a big disappointment. Ordered Hot Artichoke and Asiago cheese dip. Plastic chewy texture we couldn't eat. We have had this here several times. Talked to manager and he removed the dish and that was it. We wanted the dish just made right, we had no problem paying for it. Then we order the cobbler desert, a few minutes later we find out another table had the last of it.
Hopefully they can figure there mess out
Could have been 5 stars but they ran out of French fries. Truly un-American! ;)
Great place to eat magic show was wonderful grandsons had a great time Thankyou for a great dining experience
Great experience, well cooked steak and nice service.
Great brewery here! They really have it together. Nice downtown location. We went to get food. I got honey bbq burger and flagship ipa. Large area to chill and drink, upstairs they have a pool table and chairs. Awesome feel here. Nice staff. Beer is golden with large hops taste. Smells like piney with sour undertones. Tastes bitter with plenty of hops. Definitely coming back!
Appetizers are good unfortunately the beer has a soapy taste.
Of all the places in the old market, this one is the most forgettable. Steaks are okay at best. Home made root beer is horrible. Salads are okay at best.
I give this place two thumbs up. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. The bill was appropriate. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I liked to visit.
Exceptionally bad service and jambalaya tonight. Haven't seen anything this bad here ever. And I come here a couple times a week.
Great place, great food and great staff. Highly recommend the ribeye and Torrence if she's working. Very knowledgeable and friendly!
The food was great, the server was super friendly and helpful in her recommendations from the menu. We sat out on the patio and it was a gorgeous night to eat outside. Did not try any of the craft beers but I hear they are amazing. Will definitely go back when we're in Omaha again.
I really enjoyed our visit here. The food was fresh and tasted great, and it came out fast. I absolutely loved the coffee stout :) it was delicious. And everyone was super friendly and provided great service. If we're in the area again, we will definitely be going back.
The food is always delicious. I haven t had one thing on the menu I didn t love. The atmosphere is nice and they have a good selection of beverages. It has an upscale restaurant feel with reasonable prices. I would give it 5 stars if the staff wasn t such a hit or a miss. You either get a super awesome server or a really crappy one, but it never changes the taste of the food!! I would definitely recommend this place. I wish they hadn t closed the one on West Center!
Was in Omaha on business and ate here twice in the week. Great beer, burger, and cheese curds.
Delicious craft beer and a massive wine selection. They have free pool tables upstairs past 11pm. I enjoyed myself completely on their Aether Walking barley wine
Great place. They're open during the farmers market and allow bathroom usage.
Cool place downtown to grab some food and beers.
Update 23 july 2019: stopped in for late lunch on a beautiful day. Sat out on the upstairs deck. Great day to eat out on the deck, but definitely need shade or you'll burn up. They only had two umbrellas out, probably needed 4 umbrellas... 5 would be better. Some folks came up and sat out in the sun, but had to go inside because they got hot far. Food was good in general, but had some mess ups this visit. My wife and I ordered burgers cooked medium, but they came out well done. Flavor was fine, but slightly dry. Messed up my daughter's order. She ordered a kids burger with only pickles. Came out as a cheeseburger, no pickles. Staff corrected it immediately, but even then when a plain burger came out, they now forgot the pickles. Staff fixed that without issue though. Speaking of staff, our waiter Todd was super friendly and responsive. Definitely a pleasant experience because of him. Overall definitely still recommend.
Service was fantastic; very friendly wait staff! Everything else was just mediocre. Not a terrible time, just flat of my expectations.
Their beer was unique and well made. Definitely not "just another craft beer joint." Unfortunately they were sold out of the bottles I wanted to take home. I'll be back to try again.
Polite, efficient staff. Food was interesting and delicious. Price point was exactly what Google said, no surprises. ATM available. Comfortable, interesting interior that was intimate and cozy, also. Would eat again.
Always had a good experience here, food was good, not great. Service was about the same. I feel it was a little overpriced.
Beer was good, food was gross!!!!! I had the lamb kabobs $18 bland chewy and only 5 pieces of meat. I ordered rare it came back with no pink, worst kabobs I ever had..
My wife had the beef roast, it was dry like school cafeteria quality...
Probably safer sticking with fish and chips or burgers, . I would never go again, 45 bucks for a horrible meal..
Great food, decent service, wish they would do something about bees when dining outside, there are so many swarming around and my nephew got stung.
Great food and beer selection. Top notch service too
entered near eleven, it wasn't packed. i will be bringing family next time. the bill was decent.
