Hello Happy Sunday evening , tonight was my first time dining at Upstream Brewery in the Old Market here in Omaha , Nebraska . I'm a resident of the city and having dinner at Upstream Brewery was an exciting experience in dining at this fabulous restaurant . Yes! Some of the entree' are rather high price , but if you have some extra on hand do yourself a favor and take a worthwhile chance and check out this unique in the Old Market called Upstream Brewery . Truly Mr.Cottrell .

Service was great, not a long wait and great food. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the tomatoes in the lunch special as it did not specify it had tomatoes, had I known I could've ordered without. Overall the food and staff were great and if you have room for dessert definitely try the bread pudding or the praline crunch cake...both amazing!!

**NOT RECOMMENDED** We had a rude waiter, I wish I could remember his name, but I don't. I will make sure to note his name some day when I'm unwillingly there (with friends or something) and update this review.

Great atmosphere in the Old Market section of Omaha. Large enough to offer multiple options for seating (including sidewalk outside and deck upstairs). Food is good, and menu has interesting options. The combination of good beer, decent food, and quirky, interesting atmosphere is hard to beat.

Might have been better if we weren't seated right next to the patio roof seating door, which was opened, on average, once every 10.3 seconds, le%ing in cool air every time, and most of the time no one pulled the door shut. "Grilled" shrimp on pizza showed no sign of being grilled but pizza was still good. Service was very good.

Great place to dine! Too much waiting so we opted to sit in the patio(no queue). The server was nice and the orders came fast! Drinks were good! They have a great variety of beers and cocktails. They have good food, pizza here are different! They are simply amazing!

The drinks and food were amazing. They have such a cool environment and was surprised at how clean it was! The severs and bartenders were friendly. They have lots of tvs and pool tables as well! In the 3 days we were there, we went three times because we loved it so much!

My friends and I kinda stumbled upon this place. The place looked fancier than the food was. They didn't have a large menu selection, and the food was good, but not worth the money. The drinks were decently priced and my friend really liked her Rocky Road Souffle. The calamari was really greasy and salty and halfway through had to take off the breading. The cheese curds were good, but there were too few for the money. If you want a fancy atmosphere, this is a great place.

I had the blackened salmon salad. It was delish! The greens were fresh and the salmon was cooked perfectly black, crispy, and just a little spicy. Our waiter was very attentive, and the beer was good. I would go back.

Only stopped in for drinks and appatizers as part of a going away celebration. The 15 of us put a bunch of tables together upstairs and the bartender was our server. Service was very fast (Thursday afternoon around 3:30PM) Enjoyed pretzel bites and fried cheese (bit too much breading for my liking) that had nice dipping sauces. It's been years since I was last here, but I remember loving the cheese soup. Prices are in the normal Old Market range.

We split a couple of appetizers off of the pretty extensive menu and were very satisfied (fried pickles and bacon wrapped shrimp) The drink menu has a wide verity as well! In house beers are excellent! Definitely recommend!

In town for the week. Stopped here first night. Very good beers. More specifically their IPA. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and soup of the day. It turned out very good. We also had the little shot glasses of their different brews. Plan to do a little walking around here as the local area is very nice at night.

I love Upstream. They have the best Artichoke dip ever that comes with great beer bread. The Thai Chicken Salad is amazing and has an array of greens, chicken, mandarin oranges, crunchy noodles, peanuts, and a spicy dressing - I seriously crave this salad sometimes! The service isn't consistent. Sometimes we get great, attentive service and a manager who checks in and is willing to fill a request, other times we are ignored by host, wait staff, etc. But the food is consistently amazing and for that reason, we still go back! Prices are high but the portions are large enough that we usually order an appetizer and meal and split the two. The beer is great too. I like a more full-bodied, darker beer, and I love there "Dundee Scotch Ale". A great place to visit in Downtown Omaha!

If you're from out of town or have people visiting from out of town, Upstream is a great "Welcome to Omaha!" restaurant and brew pub. Happy hour is fantastic and the House and Seasonal beers are awesome! They have a diverse food menu and you can't go wrong with any of the choices on there. I am a fan of their pizza but any of the steak entrees are good as well.

The Kolsch I had there was the best beer I've ever had! The Omaha steak was also delicious. If you're not an American Citizen, make sure to bring your passport (not another form of ID) to be able to drink there.

Went here after dropping a relative off at the airport in Omaha for lunch. Tried a couple of the micro brews and really enjoyed the selections the waiter recommended. The service was very friendly and very prompt. I also enjoyed the knowledge my particular server had of the microbrews that were being served at the time I was there. The food was good for price. Would definately go back on my next visit to Omaha.

We did not eat here but we did try a number of beers. My wife is not a big fan of beer and the waitress helped her pick something based on her tastes and it was spot on. We will absolutely be back.

I had the Lamb kabobs. My food was cold when I received it. The kabobs were hard to tear apart and overly chewy, which made it hard to swallow. Service was horrible. Our waitress took 12 minutes to give us our menus, and took orders from a couple that came in after us, first. The experience was anything but delightful.

Great experience! Went there for lunch with seven colleagues. There was a slight wait for a table, but in fairness we didn t give them any notice. Wide variety of food during lunch, the group had a little of everything. Atmosphere was nice. We sat next to the brewery which was cool. Our waitress was knowledgeable and courteous. It was my first time at the downtown location and it didn t disappoint.
