Great pizza. Not the most decorated place...and many get it to go, yet the staff is courteous and you'll get your pie pretty quickly. I enjoy the pizza and have found myself returning on several occasions when I am in the area.

Great local vegan pizza! Cozy atmosphere, bottled beer and drinks, vegan cookies. Whether vegan or not, Gourmet is a great place to relax and enjoy some great pizza. They have their own artisanal creations or you can build your own. Daiya cheese for vegans.
I'm very disappointed with the experience had at Gourmet Pizza last weekend, and we will never give them another penny of our business.
We called in the order, and showed up to pick it up, and it was no where to be found. They then put the order in, and we were told it would be 45 minutes. After asking for them to bump the order up since they lost it in the first place, they started to get a bit snippy. While he was waiting for the pizza, my husband asked them to grab him a beer for the inconvenience, which they did. They then asked him to pay, and my husband requested they comp his beer for the inconvenience.
This is where things started to get very nasty. They gave him his pizza, and actually started to yell at him to get out of the restaurant. They were extremely verbally abusive, using awful language and being unbelievably rude. I still can't believe the way he was treated.
We will never, ever return to this restaurant. I'm just glad my kids were not there to see the awful way those men treated a paying customer.
Cannot even begin to describe how awesome this place is! They take all the necessary precautions for Celiac! I appreciate knowing I can go there without issue! Try the key lime pie! Talk about yummmmooo!
First impressions last and this place was one of the nicest pizza places I have ever seen. They accidentally prepared the wrong meal for us and once I mentioned the mistake they immediately made the correction and gave us the other meal on the house! We will be back for sure!!
Rude customer service. Never even ordered, the front shop employee was pushy and obnoxious. Didn't give us time To look at the menu and he raised his voice at me for slipping my mask below my nose to breath even though I was 6 ft away from him. He could've asked nicely. We decided to leave and went to Tampa Pizza Co in downtown where people were allowed to sit down and enjoy their pizza without a mask. The pizza was great and service was friendly. My husband and I were treated like human beings again.
I ve eaten here for a number of years and have always enjoyed the food. However, today wasn t the best experience. The staff was more concerned with talking to each other than taking care of the customer. My pizza was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes and it took 45 minutes. I was also overcharged for my pizza. They tacked on an additional $2.50 to the overall cost for my food without my knowledge. While $2.50 isn t a lot, it s a matter of principle. I ll have to take my business elsewhere, which is a shame because the pizza is pretty good.
Delicious and unique pizzas with real cheese and fresh toppings. You can find the safe old classics here, or branch out to something more adventurous. Very filling and satisfying.
Terrible customer service. I have ordered from this establishment before with positive results, but they have gone down hill fast. I like the breadsticks but ask that they put them in a pizza box rather than styrofoam so they don't stick together. The last 4 times they have failed to do this. On my last occasion I picked up my order and the guy said that my wife never told him to put them in a pizza box, which I found odd. When I got home to open the box, both the bread and the pizza were burned very badly. We called immediately and they brought us new bread and pizza but the guy on the phone was very rude. This was the same guy that accused my wife of being a liar. He also just made excuses and reluctanly sent us new food. When the new food arrived the pizza was not even what we ordered. We sent it back. I told the guy who delivered that I expected a refund. That never happened and when I called back the original rude guy (I think his name is Mark) was completely defensive and would not issue the refund. I never got to speak with Christina the manager who I believe I heard in the background saying she didn't have time to deal with it. I will never be back and will make sure to tell everyone I know about the rude poor service.
Awesome gluten free pizza. My husband and I used to live in Tampa years ago. We've since moved to Orlando. But Everytime we're in the Tampa area we stop at Gourmet Pizza for the gluten free pizza and Nutella cake! We just love this place!
Ordered a large "pie" with extra cheese and had a large "Thai" delivered. I don't think that a Thai has cheese but I'll tell you what it does have, peanuts and cabbage my two least favorite things on the planet... Not cheese and tomato sauce, cabbage and peanuts. I didn't eat all day, waited over an hour for my "PIE" and received cabbage. Not only did they screw up my order, left me waiting over an hour but they refused to replace or refund!. Absolute slime balls!
Are you vegan? Gluten free? Do you have food allergies? Then you should DEFINITELY try Gourmet Pizza Company. As a vegetarian with food allergies, this place has been my comfort food refuge. I love that I have so many great options - most restaurants I eat at I only have 1 option. I love that my partner who loves spicy and meaty pizzas can get delicious food here too. It's delicious and fresh!
pizza and the scene at this location is great. Great hospitality. The service here is attentive. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Food is like a place in Baltimore I liked.
I ordered the Hawaiian and this Pizza had way too many toppings. I feel like the toppings were loaded on and then a handful of cheese was sprinkled on top, followed by a spoonful of sauce that was drizzled somewhat like a garnish. It was very difficult to eat the pizza without it falling apart. The pineapple chunks were huge and should have been quartered. The overall flavor of the concoction was good; however, in my opinion, it failed to capture the true essence of pizza. On a positive note, the Thai chicken pizza they make here is phenomenal. I should have ordered this but figured I would stray from my comfort zone and try something else. I didn't think I could go wrong with pineapple, bacon and cheese. I'll definitely be back for more thai chicken though!
I had the exact same experience as Jessica. I live less than 2 miles from Gourmet Pizza, and when they called me back to let me know they wouldn't deliver north of Kennedy, I asked to speak with someone who could explain to me their delivery zone. The man who worked today (Friday, August 22) was rude and hung up on me. I'm new to Tampa, and trying to figure out the good places to order from, and am appalled with this level of customer service. I will never try this place, and will discourage anyone from ordering. How sad to have such poor supervisors.
De. Freaking.licious! Cant go wrong with any pizza. Only minute negative is the decor doesn't fit there great taste in pizza, its quite ungly and there a little on the pricey but WHO CARES when the pizza is that dang good??? Worth every penny and id eat it in a barn! Lol
My favorite place to get pizza and come here often. I last vist Gourmet Pizza Company in September for a birthday celebration Our party of four enjoyed a traditional crust pepperoni pizza, Ravioli, the Saigon Shrimp Pizza, the Mushroom Gorgonzola Cauliflower crust pizza and the fresh market salad. They have great gluten-free pizza options with a variety of interesting gourmet combinations of toppings or you can pick your own. I always get the traditional gluten-free crust, but this time I tried the cauliflower crust with mushroom gorgonzola. Both gluten-free options are great! So delicious! I especially love their salads. They have the freshest salads with delicious combinations of plentiful fruits and/or vegetables. I had the fresh market salad and it was big enough to share. The delicious salad dressing taste homemade. You will be stuffed after eating all of this food, but be sure to take a slice of the gluten free nutella cake home with you or any of the other gluten free sweet treats. I highly recommend this restaurant especially to those who like to have some healthy delicious choices.
Good pizza, giant attitude. They delivery radius is small and if you dont hit the gate code they don t even try to call you personally. Not sure what there policy is but doesn t involve customer service. Just don t have delivery service this is the 3rd time and I ve only order 4 times.
I love the pizzas! If you want some authentic and tasty pizzas come to this place! You won't regret it. Def better than papa johns and dominos etc. I love how they gluten free options, vegan and vegetarian options. I love the garlic oil base option and guava topping sauce. Best pizza and great price, definitely will come back for more!
This place has some of the best Pizza my boyfriend and I have ever had. We're regulars for the most part, and try to go at least once a month or so. The margarita pizza is great, and can't beat a classic pepperoni from here. Their other vegetarian pizzas are amazing too. The flavors just pop in your mouth, everything is fresh!
As a side note, park at the bank on the corner, it'll be easier to get out and back to the highway.
Great little pizza spot in Soho. Interesting selection of specialty pizzas and sauces. Our favorite was the BLT pizza (with balsamic glaze)...delicious! Definitely worth the money and a visit. Offers gluten-free options too.
Got the BLT and the classic. The classic tasted a bit like a DiGorino frozen pizza flavor, but the BLT was outstanding. It was like pairing a more European pizza with a traditional American one. So with that said, we had a mixed experience. The crust was nearly perfect and worth coming to alone. Either way, if you're looking for a great pizza, make this tonight's stop.
Total first world problem but they advertise a lot that they do vegan options so chose this particular place to get delivery from. Used Uber Eats and chose a build your own pizza and didn't choose a cheese topping. Quickly arrived but had cheese on it. Phoned them and was told it comes as standard so I said it should say that on their menu. Apparently nothing they could do, I'd have to contact Uber Eats. Phoned Uber and they kindly refunded my pizza but didn't bother reordering as would have to pay service charge again and eat later on my own.
Really disappointed with the service from the guy on the phone at the restaurant. Could have easily just sent another pizza out without me having to go through Uber Eats.
Gourmet Pizza Co. please specify on your build your own on Uber Eats that cheese comes as standard. Totally don't expect this from a place that goes to town going on announcing it's vegan friendliness.
Visited here last week from Boston. Got the GF bread sticks, a GF pepperoni pizza, and a cauliflower cheese pizza. INCREDIBLE PIZZA! Would definitely go back if I m in Tampa.
love that they have vegan options but my last two orders have been messed up. I ordered the cheeseless vegan that arrived with cheese. I called and let them know that wasn t what I ordered and they said well it is vegan cheese. tonight I opened my vegan saigon to see I received a shrimp saigon. while i could at least eat the cheeseless screw up, I had to toss the entire thing tonight because I have a seafood allergy. definitely disappointed and it s deterring me from ordering from here again.
It's overpriced but the vegan pizza is good. I don't like how they won't deliver on the north side of any street. I'd order delivery if I could. Update: They need quality control, I got a $14 personal pizza that was just the crust, barely any toppings and I couldn't believe that's what my money got me. That was the last time I went there. It's a waste.
I've been a huge fan of this place the past few years, but had a poor experience the last time I went. First of all, their website was down so I had to go by the menu on Google when ordering my pizza. It had a 10" pizza listed at under $9. When I picked up the pizza, it ended up being almost $14 when their menu at the restaurant showed the updated price being $11. Additionally, I was told it was going to be a 20 min wait. I showed up at around 21 minutes, there was not ONE other customer in the restaurant, and they told me it was going to be 5-10 more minutes. Usually love this place, but won't be returning anytime soon.
Had the pesto vegan pizza. It was delish! The crust tasted amazingly fresh. This place also has 2 other vegan pizzas, vegan breadsticks and vegan cookies. Flavors include double chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter. They also have vegan rice crispie treats.
I've eaten here on a number of occasions, and it's always delicious. They also offer a lot of unique variety, which has been hard for me to find. And the staff is always courteous and willing to meet customer needs. Overall I couldn't recommend a better place for a premium pizza.
Great food... many "normal", gluten free, and vegan options. Pizza, salad, bread sticks, and other items to choose from, as well as some very different specialty pizzas. Casual atmosphere. Try it out!
Celiac-friendly with a SEPARATE gluten-free baking facility, vegan-friendly, and AMAZING pizza overall. Their regular pizza is awesome but hands-down best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Go on a Sunday afternoon, almost no wait and nice & quiet. Parking is easy too!
Excellent option for gluten free diners who still want to have pizza! Their unique pizza offerings are also a plus for any visitor. My personal favorite is the Cubano - it may seem odd to have mustard on pizza but it is delicious and a good Cuban sandwich substitute for someone who can t eat them anymore.
Even though I don't live in the area anymore and now live in one of the so-called pizza "capitals" (i.e. Chicago), I still think about how awesome the pizza is at this place. Highly recommend the chicken sausage pizza with guava sauce and the Mediterranean pizza.
I am so thankful for this place !! The amount of gluten free options they have is awesome. The menu is so easy to navigate indicating what has gluten in it. We enjoyed our pizza and salad!!!
I personally love the "glazed over" pizza, and of course the bread sticks are to die for.
The negative reviews about delivery and customer service are silly. They are a small business with a small staff, if they can't deliver to you, get off your lazy butt and pick up your pizza. I've never had a bad experience, and I order from them several times a month.
Gluten free pizza can be hard to come by, but this place had a pretty good gluten free pizza. However, I'm giving them one star because we waited an hour for two cheese pizzas. The restaurant wasn't busy, only 3 other tables in the store, so there was so reason to wait such a long time for such a simple order.
Amazing food and they have both Gluten free and Dairy free. Amazing taste and they can make Gluten free bread sticks. Best Gluten free pizza in Florida.
Food, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful! Two of us split the 10 no-cheese vegan pizza (subbed pineapple instead of mushrooms) and the vegan breadsticks. Both were delish and it was the perfect amount for us to both be perfectly stuffed
I appreciate that the pizza is more the traditional type and not the greasy New York style. However, the pizza crust was not crunchy and firm. The temperature of the pizza was luke warm even just coming out of the oven. Veggies we're fresh and tasty.
I love that they have vegan options! I've been going here for years and the place is always improving. There is minimal parking (on the side or on the street) which is something to keep in mind but they do deliver! The only thing I wish is their pizzas weren't so pricey but you're getting high quality stuff.
We are new to Tampa and ordered a pizza, flatbread, breadsticks and a salad for delivery. The flatbread didn't come as advertised, it came with cheese and didn't indicate that it did. The other flatbreads on the menu specifically said they came with cheese.
We called to get a replacement and were offered a credit, a redelivery or we could come in and pick it up. We opted for a redelivery. This was at 8:30 PM and we were told it would be his next delivery on he returned. After an hour I decided to call back and check the status and a manager named Fitz picked up. He said that it had already been delivered, I informed him that it hasn't been delivered.
He looked up the order and wasn't able to locate it so I gave have him the order number from Uber eats. He them told me, that I should have told him that from the beginning. I mentioned that it that was information he needed that should have been something he asked. He then told me it had been delivered to another address on our street. Which tells me they never remade the pizza.
I told him that this wasn't acceptable because my 9 year old has been waiting for dinner and now has to find an alternative due to the time. He basically said their mistake was my fault and that I had to call Uber eats to get it corrected.
At the end of the day they made a mistake and failed miserably to correct it. Fitz is the rudest manager I have ever spoken to, he hung up on me several times while trying to figure this out. This will not be an establishment that we EVER eat at again. The food wasn't that good, I've had better gas station pizza than their product.
I hope when I speak with the owners tomorrow about Fitz and my experience that they releave him of his career in food service and rethink how they treat customers.
I am not one to review often, or post reviews either. However, I had to jump on here so that I could say how outstanding the pizza from this places. The cheese the toppings were all fresh, but it s really all about the sauce. That sauce is by far the best I ve ever had. It tasted like somebody has been standing at the kitchen stove all day long. I don t even have the words to express how good the sauce is. Being in my mid 40s, I have had my share of pizza, and this one was by far my favorite. Great job
Worst pizza delivery in Tampa by far. Placed delivery order at 6:20p...hour & half later the pizza still hadn't left the shop. Called 4 times but couldn't speak with anyone. Everytime I called I was immediately put on hold, even when I said "NO". I don't know how their pizza is, but they clearly can't manage a delivery operation. Shouldn't offer a service they can't deliver.
