Have to give this place 5 stars. The pizzas are as inventive as they are delicious and the atmosphere can best be described as relaxed and quaint. Adding this place to the pizza rotation.

I have celiac disease....let me say this: their gluten free pizza is AMAZING! I haven't had restaurant pizza since being diagnosed over a year ago. They prepare your gf pizza separately using separate utensils etc. They are very careful. The staff was very respectful. My husband had their regular crust pizza, and he thought it was great. Highly recommend! Thanks gourmet pizza for letting me eat great pizza again. We will definitely be back.

Have ordered delivery thru Uber Eats on three different occasions, each one was a complete failure. Burnt cold pizzas, cold entrees, horrid customer service. If they spent as much energy improving their food and service as they do whining about being too busy and understaffed on the phone, they'd be a lot better. Save your money and order Domino's or Pizza Hut, this establishment is perpetually in the weeds putting out substandard food and should just close down if they can't keep worthy employees.

3 different gluten free pizza crusts to choose from and a large vegan pizza menu, as well as a selection of different pizza menu items. Loved the humus based pizza. Hope to visit again next time we're in Tampa

Best place for gluten free. The owner publishes that they don't use any gluten containing flour in the kitchen to reduce possibility of cross contamination. They do have gluten free vs gluten containing dough. In addition gluten free pizzas are cooked using dedicated hardware. Amazing taste!

Ordered a gf sausage and banans pepper for takeout. 15.00 for a small, plus I tipped 5. Got home and there were literally maybe 8 little sausages and a few peppers. Rip off. I don't mind paying extra for gf but a frozen Udi's from the grocery store would have been better. Seem to be going down hill since the last time I ordered.

USED to be good. Last time we went it was "eh" for the price. This time their prices online are NOT the same as in the restaurant AND they wanted to charge us $3 for subbing 4 different types of regular cheese for not even a 1/4 bag of Diaya cheese we buy at the store. Won't be back.

Took forever. They seemed really disorganized. Ask me what I had ordered multiple times, and still forgot to make one of the 2 pizzas, so we had to wait even longer. One guy was apologetic, another was very rude. They didn't even seem very busy.

The vegan cauli-crust pizza was delicious. Crispy and very well seasoned. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The establishment was clean and hip. I would recommend this place for vegan and non-vegans alike.

Pizza paradise! I'm vegan AND gluten free, so for the most part, finding that combination in a pizza... you would rather eat the pizza box. This pizza and accompanying salads were outstanding. It's a cozy pizza place with out of the box pizza ingredient combinations. Good for vegan, gluten-free and regular pizza lovers. Finally!

After two "gourmet" pizza places in town have shunned my business (attempted to have pizzas delivered) because they "won't go north of Kennedy," I feel the need to post how snobby and rude this business practice is. I live one block "north of Kennedy". I'm sorry that I live in a location that is below your standards. While you have the right to deny me service, I assure you that neither I nor my husband (or the many friends and clients we work with) will ever attempt to bring you business again. If I could give you zero stars, I would.

Vegan options for pizza, yes that's a win for me! If you do want Daiya cheese it does cost extra but I rather and would suggest going without the extra processing anyway. I had their vegan pesto pizza, and vegan breadsticks very yummy definitely would recommend. Not cheap pizza but worth the splurge. Customer service was fantastic!

We got the blt pizza for the office. We all unanimously agreed that this was top notch pizza and so delicous.

However they do use garlic oil which is very strong so we all were scarfing breath mints before clients came in. Seriously worth the garlic breath though.

Every time I return to Tampa, I ensure that I go to Gourmet Pizza Co. I have never had a bad experience here. I usually get the bread sticks (made with pizza dough, they are buttery, garlicky, and have awesome texture,) and the 5 Cheese Pizza with tomatoes. (Tomatoes are extra, but I think they add just the touch of freshness and acidity that the heavy 5-cheese needs and are WELL worth it.)

Their ingredients are top-quality and I am a big fan of their sauce, too. It's highly flavourful and tangy, but never too sweet.

For me the service is always great, but I've been a regular for many years now and try to connect with the owner, Kristina, before I visit so I can try to see her when I am there. I only get back once or twice a year now, but it's often a culinary highlight of my trips home.

Oh--and gluten free or vegan? They've got you covered for that, too.

I look forward each time I go to order my Cacciztore pizza & caesar salad. Never a disappointment, delicious. I take my clients to celebrate closings, and thank yous, and introduce them to the very best pizza pies and salads in the Tampa bay area. Liz

Ordered a pizza and salad was told it would take 45 minutes... called an hour and 15 minutes later and they told me it must be on its way . Called 2 hours later and I come to find out the person who took down my order had my number wrong. They said it would take another 45 minutes if i wanted to get a fresh pizza. I cancelled my order. Now it s 9pm at night and I m hungry. Thanks for nothing.

I get the happy buffalo pizza with vegan cheese and real chicken, and it is without a doubt the best pizza I've ever had! If it wasn't so expensive, I would probably get it every single week.

Delicious pizza, handmade from scratch. They are also highly accommodating of food allergies and it is easy to get gluten and dairy free alternatives to the original crust and cheese. The location is great as well, a quick walk to nightlife in the neighborhood.

Had the gluten free house cheese mix. With feta, blk olives and pineapple, and was delicioso! Come for a very ample variety of foods and pizza combinations, specially for gluten free. The staff treat us very respectful and help us on every step. Love the environment and the music. Cool place to hang out with pals. Ahh they have calzones! Mmm definitively coming back.

I am going to say 5 stars for the PIZZA but the staff was not really good. We didn't know what to do when we came in but eventually was told to sit down, we waited about 10 minutes for a staff to take our order & they don't go to tables I guess. I am totally fine with this HOWEVER they need 1 person working the register to tell customers this. I swear I seen the guy that took our $ go make the pizza right after! UGH- Not sanitary. You can also hear the employees conversations too! OKAY- BACK TO FOOD! MINE WAS AMAZING. VEGAN CHOICES WERE AWESOME!! <3 I AM HOPING TO BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY THERE SOON, I HOPE THE LOVE THE ACTUAL TASTE OF THE FOOD LIKE I DO!! :)

Good pizza; bad service

Good pizza; bad service

We re-discovered this place a few months ago, after seeing some positive reviews on some plant-based diet Facebook pages.

The pizza is really good - quite a few options (even for plant-based diet!)

Unfortunately, the service is consistently bad - slow and the people working do not seem to really care. Latest experience involved me calling to order and being put on a long hold. When I called back in, the person on the phone (who claimed to be the manager) felt it necessary to scold me for calling back in, instead of just waiting (indefinitely).

I really hope they address the service, as that is not something people are going to put up with, even though the pizza is good.

I am so sad that the past two times I went there were a bad experience. (I have only been 7 times in total but I kept coming back for the amazing grape salad) It was amazing the first two times I went; fresh grapes, Gorgonzola cheese, fresh mixed greens, mushrooms, sunflower seeds and a lovely raspberry dressing. The third time, when I got take out, I felt cheated because the portion was so much smaller than when I ate in. So I decided to only dine-in for these in the future. My fourth visit was good and so I had my family in for the fifth which was also good. Then something happened and on the sixth visit my salad was not very good, in place of the sweet-tasting red grapes were bitter green ones and the lettuce did not taste very good either. I asked about the change in grapes before leaving and was told by the man that made my salad that he was trying to clear out old stock so I told myself this was just bad luck. I was back again yesterday hoping for a great salad and sadly it was the worst yet. This time I did ask if red grapes were in stock to avoid the bitter green ones and was told they were, so I hoped that this would be a good experience. I got my salad but I could instantly tell something was off from the smell of spoiled mushrooms (they were oozing). I thought this is not good but I can probably just avoid those and so I picked around them but the salad was bad too most of the cabbage leaves had black slime on the edges and the greens were very wilted except for a spinach leaf here and there. The whole thing had a smell of food gone bad in the refrigerator. I did eat a few grapes that were in there and some of the cheese but decided it would not be healthy for me to even attempt to eat anything else in that salad so I left. I truly hope that this place can invest in fresh food and get more customers in so this does not keep happening because the customers should not have to waste their money and risk their health on spoiled food - it would be better to toss it and just say it's out of stock and offer other things that may not be in such bad condition (just my opinion though). I will probably return once more next month to see if things get better but too high risk for me now.

I have so many food allergies now I just hate going out. I havent found many places that are vegan(or egg and dairy free in my case) and gluten free. I am super excited about this place. I can't tell you the last time I had pizza out and about. Very good. Specialty gf running about 12.50, bread sticks about 7.50 or so. Worth it. I was impressed.

I made a mistake during my order and the gentleman was so sweet. He asked if I would be okay and fixed it for me. Thanks guys.

My fiance has Celiac and we are always looking for a good gluten free option. We have our standbys that tend to do us right, but I travel a lot and sometimes it's just nice to have an alternative. Neither of us are crazy about pizza, never have been, but we just needed something we could grab and take home. We looked up gluten free and went through the typical explanations and prayers that they would understand our issues AND take it seriously enough to actually consider cross contamination. The employees at Gourmet assured us the owner has a friend with Celiac and there would be no cross contam. They explained that they have gluten free crust, but that they also use rice flour on all the surfaces for the gluten and gluten free dough. We took the pizza home and it was amazing. A little pricey, as gluten free always is, but not too bad comparatively to other gluten free options, and the taste def was top notch. Next time we're in Tampa, we'll be going back (and we don't even like pizza!). Just don't get the pizza with the white sauce. A little weird - personal taste I suppose. Gourmet was def a great find. Manager advised they are the only gluten free certified kitchen in the area and noone has ever called to say they were sick. The proof was in the food. Celiacs go get some pizza!
