I love this place more than Walt Disney. I think I got more value for my money. Also, waiting lines are not so long and during waiting time you are exposed to a funny and an amazing environment.

I haven't been there since the 90's it has completely changed. The Rides while look cool area mostly Video Screen rides that you sit in a car that moves around. Can make you sick to your stomach. But the original ET Ride is still kicking from the 80's it was cool. I loved the town areas you can shopping and still have the Movie Makeup Show its nice and cool inside. If you go after 3pm the lines are short you feel like you can go into places without it being busy. I jumped on rides within minutes. The park closes at 9pm with a fountain and firework show I would stay for that its pretty cool. Harry Potter area is kind of small some things do do but not too great. The food is expensive though. I had fun as a solo birthday trip.
My experience here was awesome. Excellent facilities, excellent services, great customer support. The rides were great. There was something for everyone to enjoy- they cater for the whole family.
The facility has disable access and lots of toilets. There were medical professionals available if there was an emergency. This superceded my expectations. I loved it and would recommend it.
It's a bit of a drive for us to get there. But it's always worth it. Love this place
Very strict with social distancing and mask wearing. Also giving generous amounts of hand sanitizer out on each ride.
Awesome experience, went during Horror Nights and had a blast. A little crowded but still enjoyed a lot of what they had to offer.
Love it! Well worth the money spent and the buy 2 days get 2 free was GREAT!
I've never felt safer. WAY better than Disney on being prepared for covid. I've never felt cleaner or been in a cleaner space. Employees are almost always nice I was very happy with how I was treated.
I love this park. I especially love the Harry Potter world. Now there are two parts connected by the Hogwarts Express. I love the castle. I love all the little shops. We really enjoyed Volcano Bay, too.
One of the happiest places on earth! It s crowded in the Harry Potter parts, but there also so much more to explore.
Middle of the week is the way to go!! Of course, you must wear masks while at the park, but this was a perfect day. Warm but not crazy crowded. The new Bourne Stuntacular was crazy awesome! You can never go wrong with any of the Harry Potter rides. Ate a wonderful lunch at Lombard's Seafood Grill. Sat upstairs looking over the water. Overall, just another great day at Universal Orlando!!
We loved our visit....favor rides- son's was the Hulk, mine and my daughter's was Hagrid's motor bike. The Have is ride was a little difficult to get on due to being broke most of the day. But the wait was well worth the wait.
This ruined the vacation for all of us!!! All of the lines were FIVE HOURS LONG! In result of that, we couldn t do ANYTHING and spent 570$ to walk around in the hot humid air! Everything was overpriced. NEVER GO TO THIS TOURIST TRAP, IT WILL MAKE YOU SORRY!!!!
I this place. I feel like a kid when I'm here. My boys loved it.
If you have kids age 7 and up this is the place to go
I started taking my son to universal at 6 and he loved it, but I realize the older he gets the more he enjoys the rites.
If you are a Florida resident I will highly recommend getting the annual pass, you can go as many as times as you like, this include parking which is about $25 I think.
We used to frequent universal almost every 2 weeks since we live just a little over 2 hours away and yes we do love it that much :)
The rides here are top tier, halloween horror nights is a amazing event, and the restaurants are pretty good.
It was a disaster! Unorganized parking, virtual tickets that you re not informed about till you arrive at the park, purchasing food via mobile app and then not getting the correct order. Very disappointed with Universal Studios. We had a much better experience at Disney, which was organized, clean and very well staffed.
Great fun, they are doing everything right during these covid days. Most people are wearing masks and social distance but a lot are not.
Such a great park. ET is an old ride, but great and I love it!
They were doing everything to keep everyone safe and healthy. Only one negative experience with a drunk male adult while we waited in que for a Butter Beer. Lots of cleaning going on
Great day at both parks. Haven't gone in years and all the new rides were amazing. They were on top of the game with covid-19 safety. I thought much better than Disney. Fast pass is a must.
So far great but with a mask on it makes it harder and 150 for 1 day with covid-19 out! Should of been cheaper but it was great
One of it's kind, it became one of the iconic attractions all over the world, No one can exactly describe that thrilling experience, you must go there to live a very marvelous adventure experience.
Main attraction closed all day. Close to $400 a person plus travel expenses for a big f-you. Also pay attention to which Park had early entry. It's not always both. The other rides are nice.
Awesome place more than I expected it to be. The park is so big and has so much to choose from I still need to come back to finish all the rides.. dont miss out on the fun.
Only down fall I experienced here today was not being able to ever get a start time for the revenge of the mummy ride.
An absolute must for anyone 9 and up! A clean, fun, entertaining park. Would go back again and again!
Nice amusement park. Lots of interesting and fun rides. There are many opportunities to take pictures with characters. Harry Potter land is very well done and is very representative of the movies. Get a wand if you want to make various things move within the land. The only negative things I have to say about the park is that general admission ticket patrons are treated like second class citizens compared to the express pass ticket holders and the parking lot is pretty far from the park.
Place is amazing for all ages, I loved it. I will rate this above than the one in LA. Too many options to dine in.
Very friendly staff, we had to use their medical facility for feeding our infant and thanks to the staff for making it very comfortable for us. They provided a separate room.
Don't interupt the magical rides to remind us to put our mask on. I was in ET so enjoying the ride when the music(and the magic) broke, and a strange voice reminded us to put our mask on. All of our masks were already on! So annoying.
Times were off on a few rides. Minions was an hour instead of listed 30 minutes because so many express people were let through.
Also, tried to get water at walk up vendor at 420, employee stated her water was "already locked." The park close at 5, water should be available until closing.
Other than these issues, the park was clean and the employees were helpful. We enjoyed the week.
Fun for people of all ages and level of thrill seeker. Get there early and also recommend buying your ticket before hand to save more time.
This park has some really good rides. Transformers was THE BEST, it felt so real. Diagon alley was also so freaking cool. The men in black ride was so fun. There was not one ride I didn't like. We had a great time at this park.
We will not return. Some cool stuff. Rude Rude Rude staff! Discriminate as well.
Universal was great at balancing all of the covid precautions. Everything was very efficient with fast lines and social distancing. Our longest wait time in 4 days at the park was 40 minutes. Masks were mandatory but I'd take the masks any day if that guaranteed the wait times we had on the rides.
For whatever reason getting into the parks is a long process here and I really am not sure why...more security check points would help.
Now for the very bad. How is it that Disney can make rides that fit people of size but Universal cannot. Don't understand how you can build new rides and not take that into account. I am sure the new Jurassic Park Rollercoaster will be the same way.
We decided to go the day before and our kids had such a great time. We have been to Disney but the kids wore out quick. They rode everything in the park here and we even left and came back. It was a great experience and we cannot wait to plan better and come back. I will recommend to buy tickets in advance.
Had a great time weather was perfect to walk around and wifes first time ever being to Disney. Park was well taking care of lines weren't to long employeed were helpful for the most part. Definitely would go back since we didn't have enough time to see everything my wife wanted to do need more time or get there a lot earlier to get more places seen
Amazing place, is a great experience that everyone should be able to try. The only sad part is that everything is overpriced.
No long lines wearing a face mask in the heat really sucks
It has been awhile since I have been to Universal Studio. In the wake of all that is happening in our world at this time, Universal Studios Florida must be waiting to bring the joy back to the families. It's just around the corner. Have Faith.
Diagon Alley is the best place to hang out. I could stay there all day. The food at the new Today Cafe is delicious.
I've been to this place many times as a kid and adult. It's always an absolutely amazing experience. Every area of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure makes you feel like you're in a movie! I'd recommend for all ages! Friendly service all around. Rides are great for all types of riders! Rollercoasters (upside down or not), 3D rides & more. A lot of great choices for places to eat. Plan on taking my kids for the first time this year since they're tall enough to ride most of the rides. We're really looking forward to it!
Lots of their contents are quite dated. Nice place for Harry porter fans but the interactive wand barely works though there are some staff nearby who will help you. The price of ticket is overrated considering what they can offer in the park. We will not come back again.
I'm so tired... From walking, talking, laughing, eating, drinking, getting on rides and the dressed characters was a welcome delight..
Got here @ 9AM. There is s limit of people that can go in. They are enforcing social distance and mask. So far it looks safe.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I only give it such a low review because they stopped helping people with disabilities during special events. There current (u can just step out line a few and tell the attendant at door so he can let u try
To get back in line we re u were) REALLY!!! I almost got attacked by a lady because I had stepped out like they say only way u can have assistance if u cannot stand for a hour to due to disability. N when I wanted to try to stand in line again after only 10 min of sitting n checking sugar the lady didn t remember me (she was 2 behind where I was) n the person I was in front of was scared to talk. I had to get out of line and get help from the door attendant who straightened it out but then I stood
In the line for 30 more mins feeling scared n uncomfortable!! I will not be doing any kind of special events like Halloween or Xmas here! If it wasn t for the fact that it s already to expensive! I was willing to pay for a fast pass so I didn t need disability assistance but they only sell so many n I didn t know about this crazy new system and the fast passed we re sold out before the park even opened so I was there and stuck with this ridiculous policy that promoted fighting n hostile environment to my already limited physical abilities.
AMAZING!!
This park is so cool. Toothsome's Chocolate Emporium looked really fancy and nice. They had Character's walk around which was really cool. The Big cupcake Milkshake was really bad though. The cupcake tasted like it was frostbite. They were very nice about it and Wash out the cup and let me keep it. The rest of the food was tasted great. All the rides were fun and amazing!! Harry Potter land was absolutely amazing!!! It was so fun and the butter beer was sooo good....( non-alcoholic ). The train was really fun too. Dr. Seuss land was so cute and definitely great for younger kids. They had this place in Dr. Seuss land that made the most amazing cotton candy. Overall this is one of the best theme parks, and I definitely recommend for families.
Considering how hot it is in Florida everyone in the park kept their masks on. It was such a great experience. It s pretty pricey but hey it s an amusement park. I would recommend to bring your own water if you can. Definitely wear comfortable shoes because the park is HUGE and spread out. They sanitize your hand before every ride and there s stations outside of each ride. I also recommend getting the express pass trust your kids will thank you for it
It was so awesome! my kids loved it so much! so much things to do. the staff was so nice and helped me with so many things. It is so awesome! the food was so good. especially the potatoes. I just love potatoes in general but the ones at universal studios was just awesome! I look forward to coming back again!
Very fun experience. First time for the kids who had a blast. Staff at hotel was best I've ever encountered. Harry Potter world was quite exciting and the $50 wands are totally worth the money. My kid got hurt on a coaster and we tried to get the DVD but no luck there...this was the only disappointment during the trip.
Seemed very crowded and I wish they would quickly sanitize the rides. I won't be going back during covid, but that's a personal decision. Happy that they administer sanitizer before each ride and implement social distancing stickers on the ground.
Very courteous staff and the rides have had some great updates since the last time I was able to come (about 10 years ago). Can't wait to come back!
Just one of the great amusement parks in the Orlando area. Universal has by far the best coasters. They offer an excellent concert lineup. Mardi grass and their Halloween days are a lot of fun.
Dear Universal,
Thanks to you I have so many memories to tell my children and grandchildren and greta grandchildren and so on. You are a whole magical world. With no need of traveling I can get lost in the magical hogwarts or in the funny world of The Simpsons. You are litteraly a 10000000 for one world. Your rides are filled with laughs, happines and screams. I really wish you were my neighbour. Anyway I already have decide that I will die. marry, propose, have all of my children in this world. I do not understand how heaven is better than you because you are way pastn fantastic. btw please send me a free ticket for the review.
This place, without a doubt, was the best amusement park we went to while vacationing in the Orlando area. We went here years ago when the kids were little. They had all the best rides, in my opinion.
The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera was my personal favorite, but apparently it is long gone...
There are so many great rides and so much to do, there is surely something fun and exciting to do for anyone and everyone.
Good times!
Love the wonder this place creates. Everytime we go
Amazing one of the best places on earth. Took my family and got a tour guide. We zipped through lines right away. Very expensive but well worth it since we got to ride many rides. You need 2 days here.
Awesome rides, awesome shows.. great app with details ...
Loved the new theme parks, Harry Potter & Fast n Furious. Great place for every age
Covid with reduced capacity made it worth the money, lines were short and so were the waits.
Great park, Hulk is my favorite ride and employees are very nice the barnie show is great. The only problem is the price of the food. Overall it is fun.
I don't dislike . I just dislike the prices when all rides are not open. It should have been a more of a discount price.
Saturday before Labor Day was a mess. They were definitely over their stated 30% capacity, and staff did not enforce mask or social distancing policy. Money would be wiser spent at Disney.
UPDATE: I called Universal's customer service. The lady that I spoke too listened to my concerns, and appeared sincerely interested in our experience. After listening and documenting our issues, they gave us an offer to make things right. Thank you, Universal!
So unorganized and the staff we encountered were incompetent. We asked many questions because it was our first time and we received answers such as, I am not sure; I dont know; and maybe they next restaurant knows. The ride staff seemed interested in everything but their job. I will say that Harry Potter sections were neat.
It was a fun place. I really enjoyed seeing Transformers and the Simpsons in real life instead of on TV. I'll probably do it once every few years. The 3D rides are fun for adults and kids but my 4 year old ended up crying at the Transformers one.
My family and I love Universal Florida. The staff is always friendly and they stay in character!! Makes you feel like your in the movies.
My wife and I really enjoyed our day here. We got rained on, but it was still a great experience. The parking was very easy and in a great spot for a short walk to the park.
Universal Studios Florida was amazing. We got the park to park pass and got to visit two parks and had such a great time. Our favorite rides had to be the Rocket Ride, the Harry Potter ride, The Mummy, and Fast and Furious. It was so amazing to see Hogwarts and all of the Harry Potter Aries. Our son was even chosen to experience a wand choosing him. Great family time all around.
Well developed social Distancing standards, and constant cleaning of everything while we were there.
You can't leave Orlando without visiting Universal Studios. It's like going to Disney World without visiting Magic Kingdom
Halloween Horror Nights in 2019 was amazing and I can't wait to go again! I definitely recommend the Park to Park pass, totally worth it. The most exhilarating and intense roller coasters were Rip Ride Rockit and The Incredible Hulk; the motion simulation rides were awesome and mind boggling I don't know how else to describe them! Volcano Bay is by far the coolest water park I've ever been to, it seriously has it all. 10/10 WILL GO AGAIN!
Amazing place... so many things to do, many gift stores... only thing that could make it better is using the Express pass in a couple lines differently.
Universal is always a great place to go with slightly older kids.
And even has Dr Suess land for tbe young children
You should not be forcing people to wear a mask Outdoors. It is not safe! Having masks police yelling at people is not enjoyable... Even at little kids. I will update my review when these masks restrictions have been lifted.....
We love universal and go out all the time
I am not sure what people expect from a theme park but if you want to enjoy your day with the kids it s definitely the place to go . Harry Potter fans it s a must ! And the new Hagrid ride is amazing !!!! They are practicing all the necessary safety measures and if you are complaining about food then eat at the Hard Rock ! As for merchandise I have so many shirts from there and they are all still perfectly fine . Poor quality someone said not the case . Some people want the moon and stars and it s a theme park expect to pay alittle more just like any other park you go to . Huge fan and would encourage anyone to go right now they are doing a great job of keeping people safe during this horrible time .
It is a fun amusement park. As I am a huge Harry Potter fan, it was good seeing the world they had created. The details were fantastic. However, the downside is, apart of Harry Potter world, the rest of Universal feels like an amusement park. It does not have an immersive experience, but is large rides and thrill. That being said, the immersive experience of Harry Potter world is fantastic.
Furthermore, the move towards 4D rides is disappointing. I get motion sick, so a box that just shakes while a watch a screen, is the same as shaking up a Coke.
Lastly, the crowds were terrible while we were there. It is packed. I mean, we had trouble walking across the park type of packed. I wish it had been less packed, and I know they can't do anything about it, but it did decrease my experience.
The Hollywood area here is great, we loved the "classic" monster cafe, and the New York, San Francisco, and London towns. Diagon Alley is amazingly well designed! Kings Cross station was cool, and taking to shrunken head at the knights bus was funny.
Best place on earth. Recomend to make a 2day visit (one day for each Park).
Fantastic day out! The Simpsons and Harry Potter attractions and rides are amazing. The park has been done to the highest standard and lots of opportunities for shopping and rest rooms.
WOW WOW WOW. This park and its employees will keep your vacation and experience running quickly and smoothly. From quick entrance processing and checkouts to incredible line moving and coordination, I didn't feel overwhelmed or like we waited long for anything. The line experience is even enjoyable with such detailed creations and scenery. The park is so clean and the employees are all over just waiting for a question or to help. I am NOT a resort type of vacation goer, but I am SO glad I gave in and experienced Universal Studios in Orlando. Oh, and if you go, DEFINITELY get the Blue Man Group tickets and Fast Passes if you can! I am still cherishing every moment I spent here.
We have come every year for my birthday since 2015 and I remember fondly coming when I was a lot younger (HHN s Sweet 16!) and hearing my older sisters talk about how fun it was before that. This event has grown insanely and has not disappointed me yet! This year there were a lot of houses and the scare zones seemed fresh. I m an easy scare so I can t attest to how the hard sells feel about it. We always enjoy our time. I would like to see the price of the fast pass come down some. We get one every year (so worth it!) but this years was insanely expensive. The price of food and drinks also continues to rise but wasn t surprising. Perhaps more alcoholic options would be nice. Keep up the good work! Can t wait to come next year!
By far the best amusement park. If your a Harry Potter fan then you must check out areas that are dedicated to it. Express pass isn t necessary if you get there early enough and keep an eye on the times through the universal app. I would recommended getting a park to park ticket so you can experience both parks and you get to ride the train. Definitely go Straight to the castle and ride that ride first before the line builds up.
Really done up so nicely for Christmas. So many decorations. And the castle was just stunning. The show was amazing.
Went in December 2019
What an absolutely fantastic time that was!! We could not enjoy our trip more
The only and I mean ONLY bump was the Hogwarts express
That was a missed opportunity for universal. They should have made it a transport more than a ride. If they just looped it and kept multiple Hogwarts trains constantly looping around for trips to/from the two parks it would have been a slam dunk for Universal
Even then it was fun, superb vacation
Ok, Harry Potter part is pretty cool even for someone who is not a fan. The wand chosing at Ollivanders is cool as well. Go in the afternoon, we had no wait.
Its awesome! Its a Thursday on 2nd week of November and the lines are very very short. Waiting time is 0 to 30 minutes. Its even possible to finish 2 parks in 1 day!
Really expensive. Great attractions. Harry Potter was awesome. Not too busy during off weeks. Family of four for lunch will run you $100.
This place rocks. They are taking every precaution for Covid too.
Colorful and breathtaking! It's like walking around in a comic strip. Loved it!
