This company is extremely rude from the bottom to the top of employees..everyone I talk to was unprofessional when it came to conversation they been robbing people for over 27yrs from adding on interest for themselves calling it the law as if they're giving the interest money to the government No you're pocketing every penny and using law as a cover up I will not stop until these ppl is pointed out I called in to pay a debt I rightfully owe and they want me to pay 3 times the amount which may be law but honestly who does that I've never experienced that..in the economy we live in especially in California who actually willing to pay 3 times the amount of something they originally had a problem covering...I talk to the original creditors they even was like wow I wouldn't pay that either like come on ..Brit and lisa was the reps coming off very condescending

Rudest people I have ever came across, so unprofessional. 1st I was wrongly charged for insurance because I decided to leave, as i didn't need insurance cause I sold my car, then I get an invoice for $80. I get a call to find out whats going on, they are rude to me, I hang up, next thing I know, its on my credit report. I call to sort things out and they are rude again. I give up, now I just called again because I'm able to just pay it and not have it in my life and not argue about it anymore and the person is rude again. I simply asked for a written confirmation of payment and she was rude. So I hang up. Mind you, this is the only collection I've ever had in my life, says alot about the company. At this point, I'm going to dispute it with the credit bureau. I have enough evidence.

These people are ridiculous, do NOT deal with this company. They have multiple numbers, and are a scam, the caller ID doesn't even show their number when they call, just "Scam Likely". They have been harassing me for months and get this, I"M NOT EVEN THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR.

The person who answers the phone is the front line personnel. This person shouldn't be rude to callers, but that's exactly what I got! A rude tone and a sigh is completely unacceptable. If you don't like your job, get a new one, lady!

I talked to representative Robin who was very rude...

I talked to representative Robin who was very rude and would not let me talk to management. She laughed and said that she was the only one there and that it would be weeks before someone called me back, all I wanted to do is pay my bill. She was rude and very unprofessional. Management if you are reading this she does not belong working for your company with the way she conducts herself. Management please contact me as I want to resolve this matter

Very rude people. Robin is extremely rude. I called to make sure a collection was taken care of since I didn't owe the money in the first place. The company that turned me into them even called them and explained I didn't owe the money. I asked about having it removed and she started telling lies. She even lied to the company saying I had made payment arrangements which wasn't true. I had no idea I had even been turned into them. She then told me it would never come off my credit report. I asked for her supervisor and was told she didn't have one. I even called the company back and asked for a supervisor and was told she didn't have one. I asked if she owned the company and was told she did. I think it was Robin that answered the phone. I will continue to pursue this cause I don't deserve to be treated this way.

Not going to get into details but they actually scammed me and charged me more than I owed them. When I asked for a refund I was hung up on and when I called them back to get a timeframe a supervisor actually threatened to sue me just for calling and hung up on me although I wasnt being rude or using any profanity. Although I dont believe in hell I actually hope there is one so these idiots can burn there. I took the advice of the other person who posted about submitting a complaint with the general attorneys office and ftc. I will also pursue this in small claims court if unable to resolve through mediation.

This company is VERY unprofessional and RUDE from the supervisor (Robin) Ext 336 down to the receptionist. The level of disrespect this company shows is unbelievable. The should be shut down no one should have to deal with people like this while trying resolve issues of whatever kind.

I'll give everyone here some advice, if you have something on your credit report that's been sitting for a long time, DONT pay it!!!! It does not improve your credit. Anyways. This company is horrible. I called to ask a question and she interrupts me like three times when I'm trying to explain to her what's going on and says that im wasting her time. Let me add she had no idea what I was getting at because each time she interrupted me I lost my train of thought. I'm trying to save them the hassle of pick up anything from a scam from an insurance company that I dealt with. Because they will never see a dime out of me based on principle. So save your money. Not to mention you work with an insurance company that works with people who dont have a lot of money.. you probably dont get many returns on that. The receptionist needs to be fired because of how rude she is, no customer service skills at all, just a stick up her you know what. Seriously lady if you dont like your job quit or are you giving favors to the boss or the boss your husband because he must be miserable. Seriously all through people's ratings on your business most of your responses are either excuses or saying you have the wrong business hahaha. Figures, if you cant take responsibility nothing will change on your end and you will continue yo get reviews that show who you really are.

This company is the absolute worst company to deal...

This company is the absolute worst company to deal with. They failed and collecting the debt owed to me and the treated my customer like they were some criminal using scare tactics and bullying. If I had know that they treated people like this I would have NEVER hired them. I pulled my accounts and have sent them over to another collection agency that got me paid and restored my relationship with my customer. Beware before you higher them!

would rate zero stars if i could. Incredibly rude, unprofessional, the list goes on. whoever the operator is has absolutely no business working in an job field that involves human interaction. they have been harassing me with calls to pay a debt that has already been paid, but when I call them, i can't get any help. horrible.

Rude. Tells you the amount you will need to pay to...

Rude. Tells you the amount you will need to pay to "guarantee" the derogatory remark will fall off your credit report within 3-4 months, takes your credit card info, then tells you there's an additional $6 fee for processing the payment through a third party. When asked if this was protocol (Instead of telling you the full price BEFORE you hand over your payment) she responds with there is no specific time in her protocol where she needs to tell you this.

It could be only an additional $1, Either way I would like to know the full amount that will be deducted from my account. Not after the payment info has been handed over. SHADY.

I called to resolve an issue regarding a 68 dollar balance due to a gym. The gym has already closed my membership, but I noticed that I had a remark on my credit report from Universal Recovery Corp. I spoke with Lisa, and she was incredibly unprofessional and did not help me resolve the issue. When I suggested to three way a call between the gym and the collection agency (since this should not be on my credit report), she hung up the phone. This is not a way to resolve a problem, especially for a client (fitness 19). She essentially wanted to put the problem into the client's hand rather than deal with the problem herself, like a responsible employee. Very unprofessional, unwilling to help, and doesn't care for the client (Fitness 19). She demonstrated all of this by her tone, repeating the same phrase over and over, and placing the blame on her client. A meaningful solution would have been to have a three way call with the client and herself to reach a conclusion. Again, the name was Lisa.

Terrible customer service right from the get go. The operator refused to look or listen to my situation and search for information, then she hung up on me. I called back and was again harassed about not having the correct information that she needed when in fact I was the one calling in to get information on a debt that I didn't even know about. Just from this experience, this company sounds illegitimate.

Jack Smith is a joke! Very unprofessional & he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a supervisor. The supervisor was very understanding and polite.I paid what my credit report shows and should be good to go. If you don't have customer service skills than maybe Mr. Smith needs to find a job that doesn't deal with humans! Thanks to the supervisor and your professionalism. Have a blessed day!

Spoke with Anna she was excellent very informative, it always stings when a debt collector calls, especially after I already went to the company I knew that I owed money too with cash in hand and they told me that they had no record of me, but I knew I did so I understood why I got the call it wasn't her fault it was the company, and she was patient and firm in her ability to explain my possible payment strategies!! So I give them five stars for doing a job smoothly that is extremely hard!!!

This is the WORST company ever. DO NOT deal with them. They STOLE money out of my bank account and then refused to refund me. There is a woman (I use that term loosely) named Ms Morgan who is so unprofessional and refused to admit she was wrong. When I spoke to Sarah who is super sweet and helpful and admitted she made a mistake but Ms Morgan refused! All she said was dispute it with my bank. She would NOT help me when they were clearly wrong! I wish I could call the police on them because they took money out of my account when they were not authorized to do so. I had to change my card number and everything what a pain!

Apparently I got sent to collections 2 years ago. Today is the first time I'm hearing about it. It has not had any impact on my ability to do anything and only has a minimal impact on my credit score. I have disputed it nonetheless because obviously it does not seem credible. I'm sure they think otherwise but I could care less about their opinion on the matter.
