Universal Orlando Review

Too much to see, too expensive to spend more than one day at whatever park you choose. Why not slash prices? I know money has to have been recouped for Disney and Universal. No reason to be that greedy.

Great customer service, beautiful facilities, amazing shows and unbeatable safety measures.

Yes the rides are great, and even though I prefer the old school favorites like Earthquake and Jaws I appreciate the newer rides like Fast and furious and Mummy. The food is quite overpriced, but you can bring your own drinks and snacks to help alleviate the cost.

World Of Harry Potter in Universal Studios/Island of adventures, one of the best places in the world.

The park is amazing. Probably isn't a priority but I think adding a swivel handle on the new haggrot ride would make a great element in entertainment. No practical use for it but it would sure be fun and more immersive if the right handle swiveled like a REAL motorcycle. Just a suggestion

So much fun!!! The Harry Potter rides were the absolute best!! Having the refillable drink all day was perfect and I enjoyed my entire day

Great place. Crowded as always. Visited on 31st night and all music events were great.
Place looked like heaven.

The view from our room was spectacular... excellent customer service... we love Cabana Bay... and it was just across Volcano Bay didn't even have to use our car.. the best.. thank you

It was ok. VERY expensive for what it is.....overpriced in my opinion. Not as much fun as a real park like Canada's Wonderland for example. But cost way more. Personally one trip was enough for me, I wouldn't go back again.
There are things that are way more fun and much cheaper in Orlando.

It's an exciting adventure at every turn. If you are a comic book lover or a Harry Potter fan this is an experience not to be missed. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was my favourite - be sure to hop on to the Hogwarts Express.

The resort was fun overall. Some of the food and activities seemed to be priced on the high side but you get what you pay for.

Great park
While the Harry Potter portion is the best the rest of the park still has great rides and locations.
The selection of rides could be larger but the quality of the rides is high enough that this is not a major draw back.

Expensive to say the least. Nice facilities but too small of area for the number of people and the lay out/instructions not intuitive. Not enough places to sit. Rides are short for there wait times. Decorations are awesome: creative, colorful, and imaginative.

We sat in line to get in the park for 2 hours only to tell us we can't get in BECAUSE of COVID-19 we had to buy date specific tickets to get in

We enjoy Universal Studios very much. Some of the rides are nauseating but there are tons to do and not nearly the wait times of Disney.

This place is second to none. It s Amazing, exciting, wonderful, fantastic, fun, exhilarating, great, brilliant, top notch, out of this world, superb and so much more I could go on and on. DO NOT GO TO ORLANDO WITHOUT VISITING here. You would be crazy to miss this experience. First of all the food and beverages - the time and effort they put in to this alone is worth the visits yes not visit VISITS you should come here multiple times, not joking.
Again the food a drinks are wonderful. You can even get free refills when you order a specialty Coca Cola cup you can choose between 20,30 maybe flavors I did not count lol again the food selection, quality and taste is 5 star all the way.
I ve not even stated to talk about the theme parks oh boy. I come back and update this review later.
You better come see this place. Million times the best of the best.

I felt like a child again. I had so much fun riding rides. Definitely check it out if your in the area.

So much fun and have accommodated well for CDC standards

I love universal! Especially the Harry Potter areas... they're incredible. The only downside is that all the new rides are those 3D-type rides. The first ones of those were excellent because they were so different. But now they're all like it, and probably exactly the same movements and tracks etc. just with a different 'show'. I enjoy original roller coasters but they are few and far between at this park. Still 5/5 though, but hoping for some classic rollercoasters to start making appearances again. In fact, Hagrid's Motorcycle ride is excellent, and very thrilling. I was on the right-hand side, i.e. riding the motorcycle - WHAT A RUSH!

Wait times can be long however this fact is mitigated by the way that they keep you entertained the entire way, pretty clean park and amazing rides for all ages and levels of thrill seeking. A great ride worth the 3 hours I waited, is Hagrids magical creatures motorcycle adventure, very long at almost a mile and just under 3 minutes long. The Spiderman ride breaks down often which can be a positive if you ride it multiple times, you'll end up with a few single use fast passes.

THE BEST PARK OF THE WORLD. WE WILL RETURN AGAIN.

I loved Universal Studios. If you get the Express Pass the lines are usually between 10-15 minutes and sometimes as low as 5. I do not remember what the perk was called but my family and I were able to get up earlier than everyone else, and enjoy the rides at around 8 or 9 AM, before it became hot and everyone else came to the parks. I spent a day in one Harry Potter section and another day in the other. I spent another day in Volcano Bay which I do not recommend, and another three days going through everything Universal has to offer. The restaurants we amazing in the evenings, and you can rely on any restaurant there no matter the times.

If you are looking for fun, u will definitely find it here. No matter what age u are.

Overall good experience. But staff will not explain you properly. I would suggest anyone to take park to park tickets. There are few rides which can be possible with park to park tickets only.

I must say my family and I are huge fans of the parks and resorts. But this visit on 3 seperate occasions I felt singled out. I was asked to show my hotel card to get on the boat. I had no problem showing my room card, however, when my son asked me why no one else was ever asked except for us...was pretty alarming. With everything that's going on in the recent months, inclusion and diversity should be taught to your employees. I hope this gets addressed so no one else has to experience what my family and I did this trip.

Got the boarding pass after not being able to get on the day before, staff was great and help us out. The new star wars attraction is a must. But you have to get your boarding passes for you whole family and it sec. After park opens it takes like 20 min for all the passes to be gone. And you can't ride.

Cool place to walk around. Expensive food and drinks as to be expected for being theme park area.

Second time in a couple of weeks. Much cooler and I expected a big crowd but lines were very short

Universal Orlando Resort (formerly, "Universal Studios Florida) is a great amusement park, which is located in Central Florida.

UOR has spectacular rides, as well as a Lucille Ball ('50s actress) museum, several restaurants, and the CityWalk.

Along the CityWalk, visitors can enjoy good live entertainment, as well as pick up a bottle of beer, meet new people, and eat at good restaurants, as well.

I highly recommend visiting Universal Orlando Resort! :-)

It was a lot of fun. They offer a soda with unlimited refills. It costs a little up front, but trust me, it will pay for itself by lunchtime. Also, consider the premium parking. You are already paying so much, the extra $10 is worth it for the amount of walking it will save you.

Lots to do, plenty to see. The queues limit how much you can really do in a single day obviously

Great place for the whole family. I will say it was a long wait for some rides, even though the park was not as busy as usual. I'm sure it's chaos when the park is at peak capacity!

Islands is hands down the BEST buffet ive seen!!! Mustapha was one of the best servers Ive ever had!! Fantastic staff and food!! Definitely recommend this place!!!! P.s. Jakes next door in hotel is great for lunch.. I recommend the steak sandwich or the buffalo chicken club :) well or the bbq beef brisket flatbread :) ok..ok.. Or the pretzel rods with homemade beer cheese :)

Well this place is just good good. Pleasant. Beautiful. Food was good also. Just need more energy the next time. But so good.

Free parking after 6pm. A great place to bring a date!

This was a great place for our Christmas outing. We had a great time. Everything was great.

Great theme park. I think I was more excited than the kids I saw for Wizarding World.

This was truly the unique experience. Fun rides, some of them are roller coasters, other has a huge screen and 3d glasses, which I would recommend to go as many times as you can.
The entrance to the park is bit costly, but it's a great way to add to the family vacation

Had a great time. Lines were long as expected. Florida heat was a scorcher, but great time with the family.

We had a wonderful time at Volcano Bay. It was a truly great day!!!!! If I was giving any feedback I would ask that the swimsuits the female lifeguards be changed. I was quite shocked they were allowed to wear such inappropriate suits, My 8 year old twin daughters said, "Mama! You can see that Ladies whole bum!" Honestly, it's bad enough when the guests wear suits like that but much worse when Universal allows their employees to wear them like that. Universal should have a higher standard where that ia concerned. Thank you for allowing me to be heard.

Food portions stink for the money. Not worth going food places closed shops closed...bought the all day drink cup and refill stations are far between stations and you have to wait 10 min between fill up. Filled up once and was all carbonated water dumped it and tried a different kind said have to wait 10 min. So yes all you want all day free refills with limits. Limited park hours was open only 8 hours. No way to go through walking to do things such a waste of money and time.

Great rides with variety for ages and heights of kids. When busy well worth the express pass, only downside is the expense as for 2 days for a family of 4 will set you back well over US$1000.

Had a party of fourteen. We all had a great time. Will do again. Strongly recommend.

We had a very great time there with family, we spend five days there but looks we did need to spend more time there , theme park great rides , great characters, friendly peoples, it s expensive though but worth it my kids sad when we left but they tired , all the rides included in ticket price, water park also very nice but the lockers and parking is very expensive, do not bring your car and valuables there , the first buy a free refill drink cups it s worth it. Five star ,

Haven't been for years. A lovely surprise how smoothly everything runs. Plenty of staff scheduled for baggage check, for rides, and in restaurants to enhance your experience.

I came for the restaurant, and found it's closed from 2-5pm I also know the bar has reduced hours too. So stuff you should know.

Simply one of a kind, the most thrilling adventure any one can have, I love this place.

Been many years since I have been to Universal Studios. Quite a change with modern 3D, and visual/motion effects. We had early bird passes which gets you into the park 1 hour earlier than other park goers. I am not one for heavy duty roller coasters, but if you are, looks exillerating. Park is clean, food is good, and employees ready to help. Food is expensive, but the portions are large, and delicious.

Rides were made for Skinny Minnie's. Lines extremely long and Fast Pass is a joke. Not enough cooling stations. Prepare to walk everywhere!!! Get into shape!

Went to haloween horror night. It was a disaster. There was zero organization entering the park. It was like a starving mob was going to the last existing buffet.

Purchased the fast pass, the one that starts at 11 pm. At 11 pm, after messing around doing nothing all day, we decided to go and do some rides. The main ride we wanted to try was Harry Potter. Some how the ride closed at 11. So you spend nearly 200 on a fast pass and the rides close as soon as you can use the pass... sounds like quite a scam.

The website does not tell you to schedule the virtual rides ahead. (Did we miss something?) We were disappointed that we could not get on some of the Harry Potter virtual rides at 10:30 they were sold out. Too many rides were offline. I guess we choose a bad weekend to go? There was not enough policing with social distancing and making people keep their masks on. If there was less people, we waited 1hr and 15 mins to get on the Kong ride, it was not worth the wait. Very short virtual ride.

We had a lot of fun and there was plenty of food to eat!

Universal Orlando Resort is awesome! We have Annual Passes and we go quite often, and we just love it there. It's perfect for all ages and great food at every restaurant, the rides are fun and most are family friendly.

The rides were enjoyable but very short. The express pass was a totally ripoff. You basically got an express pass to waiting. This was very different than my experience here 5 years ago, where the express pass had a different line all the way to the the seating area. Not worth the cost.

We had a great time!
We are long time Disney World fans so we have a hard time going anywhere else....but it was a fun time.

Lots to see and do..some may require a bit more walking...but still a great experience!

We have been pass holders for over a year now, and sadly just made the difficult decision to not renew my wife and son's annual passes. My daughter and I moved down to Florida from Michigan a few months after my wife and son did, so we have through September before our passes expire.At that point, we also plan to let those passes expire. As teachers, we were on a tight budget anyways, but we loved Universal and Islands of Adventures, so we made it work for our family. Our teen son is deaf, and there are unfortunately not as many things that get him 'excited' lately, but going to the Universal parks always seemed to make him laugh and smile a ton. We had always loved the Universal Orlando Parks, and felt like the staff at Universal treated us very well, however, things really seemed to fall apart after the Covid shutdown. We have not been treated very well on the phone, there has been a lot of confusion with our passes and new expiration dates, and we are just extremely disappointed at how things have been handled with our passes and the auto renewal. I'm not sure if the staff at Universal Orlando are simply just getting burnt out from all the calls, or if they just don't really care about their pass holders, but it was pretty disheartening for us to have to be treated the way we have been these last couple months :(.

Experience of a lifetime! We made so many memories! We prefer this over Disney. Bring lots of money, food isnt cheap and there is so much good stuff to eat! We did the citywalk the day before the park, separately, and i am glad we did. We were too exhausted after walking both parks, had zero energy for the city walk the same day.

Amazing place and lots of fun. Best place to come if you have bigger kids, growing out of Disney related characters. Stay at one of the onsite hotels that provide Express Pass. It will save you a lot of time and you will enjoy the park without being too tired while waiting in line.

Friendly and helpful staff members, family friendly with some adult activities, and the parks layout is efficient and well layout.
The only thing I can think of as an issue, is the lack of participation with the prepaid dining plan.
I would definitely bring my family to universal studios Orlando again.

We love Universal! The roller coasters are great and Harry Potter World is wonderful. My favorite is Hogwart's.

Mind blowing, something for all the family. I've been here around 30 times and each visit is like the first ...absolutely amazing. Staff are super fantastic. No one is to young or to old

Super fun experience I have been wanting to go here for a while. Harry Potter world was everything I'd hoped it would be. They have an app to get wait times and it was mostly very accurate.

So many great things to do. The Horror make up show is amazing. My kids and I enjoyed the Simpsons ride as well as Hulk and Rip Rock. Of course we all enjoyed the World of Harry Potter. Butterbeer is yummy, the attractions and rides are superb and really really well done. Great for adults and kids. Our legs and feet are tired but we all have smiles.

I'm still here as of this writing but it's been a great visit so far. Here for a conference. The room is always made up nice and service when needed has been wonderful. I've had room service a couple times and each time it was quick (within 30 minutes) and the food has been really good and decent portions. I would recommend staying here.

It's always a fun adventure at Universal Studios!!! This is a great theme park. They have many rides and cool attractions!! You can walk through the streets of Hollywood and New York and check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!! Any fan of movies and fun should definitely visit!!

I wish I lived here...I recommend the seasonal pass with some blackout dates (2 park-to-park). It's the best and very close to the same price as the three day pass.

Really had great family time last week my God My God if you go to Island of adventure s and a thrill seeker you have to do the Harry Potter it was the best ride ever. The Hulk was a great Ride also.

Huge park. I loved this park. I had an amazing time. I never ran out of things to do. There is always something to do. We had a lot of fun!!

I had a fun time only problem was the prices. I know this is Orlando and its going to be expensive but Universal has lots of money! And I know they have to make a profit but its just a bit to high! Maybe lowering park tickets would help! Best annual pass!

I must say this is the most beautiful Resort I have ever stayed in. Starting with check in, when I say everyone I mean everyone up front has a positive, happy, professional attitude. Smiles are everywhere at the front desk, pack is that place was they was getting you and out. The rooms are very cute, roomy, and clean. Housekeeping is very nice and good at what they do!!! Omg the pool area is simply BEAUTIFUL!!! From looking at the pool area how nice, big, and clean it was made me wanna get a refund on our park tickets. The arcade room is nice and affordable. Also the transportation guys they have out, please use them they are wonderful and affordable. We use them for to take everywhere we wanted to go. They drop you off and be there in 10 mins to pick you back up. They have a excellent service no cabs , please use them.

Universal Studios the best there a lot of memories having fun with family it happines and go on rides shows amazing things

They have done a great job with Harry Potter areas. The lines aren't as long as other parks. Very enjoyable.

Universal Walk was awesome. Went to Blue Man Group 5 stars!!!

Awesome place to take your family or friends. Loved the flavor of my donut. The vodoo doll, the one on top.

This place is impressive. The rides are mostly simulators, but with my little kids I liked that. The scenery is incredible.

The skinny:75% of this place was shops and restaurants. if you ride rides, plan on 60-180 min wait times on most. That'll leave you with about 5-6 rides all day. Unless you pay them extra for the special pass that takes you into a quicker line.

At the price you pay, it simply isn't worth it. I would take Six Flags or Busch Gardens all day over this place.

On the bright side, Harry Potter -land brings in some "interesting" people. It takes people watching to an entirely new level. I saw a grown man in a cloak with a magic wand in his hand.

Nice resort, water taxi to the universal studios is amazing!

One more off the bucket list, although some rides are not that great you have fun, island of adventure is more thrill seeking.
