It is a blast and the lines are not too bad (in February). You would definitely have time to buy a multi park pass and visit both parks in one day. Unlike Disney, Island of Adventure and Universal Studios are right next to each other! To get the most for your money if there is an event going on at Universal, start your first half at Island of Adventure then switch parks. If not, start at Universal and then go to Island of Adventure, that way you can ride the new Harry Potter ride at night, when it looks the coolest, by getting in the long line 20mins until close.

Absolutely awesome!

Absolutely awesome!

I only took a star away for these 3 reasons

1: the app is not as good as disneys in a few different ways including not being able to see photo pass pics on it
2: we paid the same price at Disney as universal for photo pass and there are no people in the park that take photo pass pics, just camera locations
3: The fast pass prices are crazy expensive!

Orlando is a perfect example of planning before you come here. If you don't you will pay $7 for 1 pretzel, 1 slice pizza fo 12.99 and the liat goes on and on.. Express pass for single ride is worth the value, once you see all the attractions then you can focus on what you love and need to experience again.
This is my only time and it will not happen again. 1 time is goos enough for us.

Before visiting go through videos and map of the park there are lots of things to do inside, just to make sure you don't miss anything. The best part of this park is the Harry Potter world.
Food is expensive inside but you can carry your own food, at least we didn't had any issue with the food while getting inside.

Too many extremely long lines. A line to pay for food a line to collect food. But lots of thematic eating spots, really creative in ambience and menu. Lines for rides were not encouraging.

I called customer support to get some information and the woman was very helpful. Great tone, reassuring, and very positive attitude. She showed me on the site where I could see certain details and told me additional steps to follow for resolution. Great phone experience!

There were very few things to do in the actual Universal park. We came specifically for Harry Potter World. Little did we know, you have to have passes for 2 parks in order to experience Diagon Alley & Hogwarts. So you're expected to pay $135ish for a single ticket, plus $55 for a park hopper. For 2 people, that's almost $400 just to experience one aspect of the park.
We drove many hours to be there, and they didn't seem bothered by our complaints at guests services. Just kept brushing off our comments with, "our website obviously states you need 2 park passes". To a common user, you would see HP & purchase your ticket. Even when googling Harry Potter World, it specifically just says "Universal Studios".

We were also looking forward to the fireworks at Hogwarts. After driving 13 hours, we found they weren't even doing the show that day. Just very disappointed.

I will officially never go to this park again. I did always have excellent experiences at Universal Hollywood, even their CityWalk was more impressive.

Orlando did a great job with sanitization, but all around would recommend going to Hollywood. They seem to have it more together.

As much as I love the other theme park in Orlando, Universal is definitely more adult friendly. Stay at one of the Universal hotels and you get into the park an hour early and don't have to fuss with parking. One of the best parts of staying at a Universal resort is that you can buy souvenirs at the park and have them delivered to the hotel. No carrying bags around all day. The world of Harry Potter is by far my favorite thing to do at Universal. My one gripe is that Hogwarts Castle doesn't have anything to walk through. That was the only disappointment.

Amazing! "The Mummy" attraction is one of the best things ever for those (like me) who enjoy thrilling rides with a great context! The Universal parks (I've been to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure) are awesome. Don't miss the Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, The Simpsons, The Hulk and the Harry Potter attractions, because they're pure fun!

First visit, it was amazing scale and entertainment! Definitely for older kids and adults! We had a special event at the Harry Potter area, I was amazed at the details and rides, very fun!

I give them 8/10!

Always my favorite parks in Orlando! Islands of Adventure is a MUST SEE! It's great for all ages! However, I am disappointed with some of the updates/new rides. KONG's skull island was only okay and I will be unhappy if they are making major changes to the Jurassic Park ride which is my absolute favorite.

Universal Orlando is not what it used to be anymore. The price is ridiculously high, and on top of that now they charge $2.00 on each ride you need to leave a backpack in a locker. If the ride takes longer that expected, which is not the visitor s fault, they charge you $3.00 additional to be able to get your backpack out of the locker. The employees are not very friendly. They are very unorganized and are not well prepared or trained for big crowds. I paid around $200 for my ticket, got there by 10:00 and left by closing time, and was only able to get on 4 rides. I did not enjoy it at all. Not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and go to Disney World instead.

First time we ve been and we loved it all. The water park is top notch. The other two parks are awesome as well. Universal Studios has more indoor attractions than Islands of Adventure, so we chose that park on mostly rainy days. It rains everyday, usually in the afternoon, so get an early start! Bring ponchos to wait out the rain.

Heed the warnings about loose articles! They offer free lockers for those rides that throw you around. My husband had his phone in his pocket during Men In Black and at the end of the ride it was gone. Apparently this is a common occurrence on certain rides, and each night they sweep the attractions and turn in loose articles. It took two days, but we did get the phone back. It was helpful that we could track the phone with our GPS, and also we made it ring during the time they were sweeping for loose articles, which we believe helped them find it. They also charged the phone while it was in lost and found, so that helped us keep track.

Awesome place, great time. I purchased express passes which allowed us to get off most rides and get right back on, always have to stop at the talking fountain whenever we're there as well.

The good: nice clean property. A lot of care is taken to keep everybody safe.
The questionable: Bring your own food, the food is the same as what you will find in the theme park, and not good for the price. 6 oz drinks will run you $12.

Had a great time, go in the off season tho. I need to add more. I'm rather hard on places I visit that's a little pricey, I honestly had a great time. I was worried going alone it was going to be a wasted trip, nope! I wish I could remember the guys name who helped me with tickets, he took time to explain each park, if I buy this and this I'd be able to see everything but the water park. Sign me up!

I went in late Aug, in hope of missing crowds and screaming kids, it worked. I went with fast pass, great added on if your in a group of people. I did use but could have easily still rode all the rides with a short wait time. And I rode every ride! It was fantastic!

All the shops were fun to check out, being able to shop then have your bags taken to safe place to pickup on your way out of the park, how great is that. No hauling bags around when your having fun, you dont lose all stuff you just pay a lot for, your not breaking it trying to cram everything into 1 bag or backpack.

I'm really glad I went on whim while I was on vacation. I'm planning another trip.

You already know it's going to be overpriced. You must get the express pass to really enjoy on a busy day. I like to stay at onsite hotels with free express passes... no need to drive and you can go back and forth to your hotel at anytime during the day. If you go for more that 2 days, just but an annual pass.

For me it would be a 5 star, but there are too many people without mask or with uncovered nose in CityWalk. I think Universal should be more strict about the face covering rules. I see this behavior being pretty common throughout Florida, maybe there is a connection with the fact that Florida is the covid most affected state. I'm happy to amend my review if I see an actual effort to fix this issue.

Universal team member are top notch. The park is generally clean and well kept. My only two complaints with Universal itself (excluding guest cause Universal has no control of that) is their food and their ride selection. More than half the rides are a type of motion simulator, and most of those are the exact same ride but with a different skin (transformers/spiderman; kong/fast n furious; jimmy fallon/minions). The food CAN be decent, but most places are the bland, frozen theme park food of the 80s and 90s; frozen dry burgers, bland watery alfredo, frozen chewy chicken, etc.

Super fun park! Universal Rocks! I do suggest a park a day as it s virtually so much to do at both parks you won t be able to do it all, suggestion: stay at a universal resort hotel that offers free express pass as lines for rides can be long, you might pay more for the room but you will make it up in free travel to the parks, free shuttle service, express passes, theme park tickets if offered on promotion, etc , you will end up saving tons of time, effort and funds, there s tons of shops, restaurants and things to do, FYI food is pricey but the food restaurants offer free ice water just look for it on the counters, also purchase a unlimited cup and use for unlimited refills, prepare for average of 15$ a meal per person every time you eat, but food is great!

Amazing theme park!! I honestly cannot get enough and they keep making it better! Early entry tickets that come with staying on site are so worth it for Harry Potter! The park was insanely clean and welcoming as where the staff as my friend is funny with rides and they assisted us through out our stay. I wish I could give it more stars

The family and I decided to go see the blue man show.
It was truly a different experience and different world of imagination. So many different scenes scenarios unimaginable. It full very hilarious and full of excitement and anticipation.
EVERYTHING was totally surprising and unpredictable. The show was COLORFUL LIVELY FUN MUSICAL ENTERTAINING LAUGHABLE BRIGHT THRILLING ON EDGE OF WONDERING FULL OF THRILLS AND EXCITEMENT.
I highly recommend this event especially for kids and adults. And it's a wonderful experience to escape every day life drama to enjoy a relaxing Thrilling Blue Man Show.
I promise you won't be disappointed especially the after show personal meeting and interactions with the characters.

How I would describe Universal Orlando Resort is a transport to your favorite movies. When you're here, you are immersed into the world and stories that are presented by the incredible engineers and storytellers. Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, Jurassic Park, and all of the other incredible lands are all so well themed and they are all exciting and have fun details to find! You can explore to your hearts content and always find new shows, rides, and experiences! Bring your families and experience the many adventures!

Halloween Horror nights frequent fear plus pass is the best way to go for the full HHN experience (best for FL residents who want to see all the houses)! Go to a few rides and houses each night during the season so you can experience them all. Three visits more than cover the cost of the pass.

Just mind blowing. They have 3 parks; Universal Studios Florida, Universal s Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay. Volcano Bay is a water park, other two are theme parks. If you are a crazy Harry Potter fan, you MUST visit both the theme parks. We went during a non holiday season in February during a week day. We were able to finish both the parks in two days without taking express pass. There is a Hogwart s Express train that takes you from one park to another but for that you need ticket to both parks wherein you can visit both the parks on same day. Butter beer in the Hogwart s castle is a must. I would suggest finishing Harry Potter rides in Universal s Islands of Adventure first as soon as you enter Universal. Go as soon as park opens, lines start growing between 11 to 2. Shreik in Universal Studios Florida was a literal torture, we did not like it. You WILL get completely wet in Popeye s ride, so make sure you carry additional clothes for the ride. There is a dryer outside the ride for a $5.
Volcano bay water park was just fun. It has multiple tube rides, they check your weight every time before you ride so that it is safe to ride. Aqua Coaster ride was the highlight. It is a roller coaster water ride which allows minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 riders per tube. They have a wave pool with beach like sand and chairs. There is a lazy river that you can relax on a tube. There is also a crazy river with water flowing at a faster rate, you have to wear life jacket to go in. There is a 80 degree slide from the top of volcano mountain. You stand inside a tube and the floor beneath your legs opens and you slide down fast. Almost every one complained that it scratches your back, I could see everyone s back getting red rashes. Overall universal studios was a total fun. I highly recommend if you are visiting Orlando.

First of all, it is expensive. When I say expensive is.......expensive!, I will say outrageous!!!!! 184$ to go in (minimum price),70% of the time doing queue for 10mn of entertainment for each attraction. Food and beverage horribly expensive.
Over crowded and one event closed because it broke and another was on a long delay just as we got to the door to enter.
Not the best value for your money.

Definitely one of my favorite places! Everything here is incredible, the rodes and effects and the little details, the light show at Hogsmead is incredible and if you're not keen on rides but are a fan of Harry Potter, you can walk through the queue (Harry Potter and the forbidden journey) which i highly reccomend, you can walk through the castle and see all the moving pictures and you feel like you're there! We ate at krusty burger in Simpsons land and it was lovely, had breakfast in the leaky cauldron in Diagon Alley and it was gorgeous, highly recommend coming here!

You literally get to "ride the movie." My daughter is not a fan of roller coasters so Universal Studios was perfect for her. FYI 2nd amendment folks; I looked up a lot of information and didn't come across much. They did have metal detectors so if you're carrying you prob can't.

Even with all the Covid-19 pandemic going on, Universal for sure are doing a great job of keeping their guests as safe as possible. Anyone going to the parks during the pandemic must know they are putting their health in danger. Love Universal.

Although I've visited other resorts in the Orlando area before, this was my first trip that included Universal. I am saddened that it took me so long to check this place out! I will certainly never go to Orlando again without visiting Universal. There is a wonderful vibe here that makes it feel like a great place for a crowd that is just a bit older. Or for a visitor who wants to feel a little younger!

Very clean park and great staff. I must say I was absolutely blown away from Halloween Horror Nights. Definitely an amazing experience. Only complaint I have is that there are too many virtual rides in the park and not enough coasters or animatronic rides. But overall it was a great vacation!

Absolutely amazing park! The movie themes are so much fun and each ride was a blast. Harry Potter world was for sure my favorite part, the actual fire breathing dragon was such a wonderful to see! The atmosphere felt so real too! Make sure you go to olivanders and watch the wand ceremony! The shop can be crowded after it though. The Rip Ride Rock It was my favorite coaster, it was decently tame but never boring! Make sure to get the park to park pass. It's really so much more important than you think.its the only way to experience the Hogwarts Express and there is nothing better than getting tired of one thing and then being able to go see another. Or maybe you really want to ride that other ride again! It's worth it I promise! I went back and forth from one park to the next at least twice a day and I was there for 5 days!
