I feel like going into a dealership you expect sales people to be aggressive and that was not the case at all. Jennifer was patient, she was very transparent, it was the best experience I ve had at a dealership. She was beyond helpful and I m grateful to have had such a smooth experience buying new car.
Three days wasted attempting to complete a deal on a Hyundai Accent. Was pawned off to three different people who had no clue what they were doing. We were lured in with Internet Pricing and the $3500 Cash for Clunkers program. After three days of trying to submit our a paperwork we were finally contacted and magically the car price escalated by thousands, as well as the monthly cost increasing from $198 to $350. Mishandling from the bottom up. John Booth who claimed to be the Store Manager got involved, left a message for us, and minutes later when I called back he had left for the day. Never heard back from him. Like I said, no follow-up. Take your hard earned money elsewhere my friends. YOU deserve better!

Poorest customer service I have ever received from a dealership. I was told that they would hold this vehicle for me until I got there since I was coming 105 miles to test drive and purchase it. I get there and they have SOLD it out from under me. My entire day wasted and I only get one off. Out of the money for the fuel for the trip. And given sorry excuses from management. Take your business elsewhere and save the upset it will cost you in the long run. I just got a call that the truck sold. These people are real pieces of work. Seriously find people to take care of your automotive needs that care enough about their customers to at least so what they say. And if you do feel the need to go there, do not under any circumstances deal with a salesman named Kesia, he will put the screws to you. There is no excuse for doing business this way.

Excellent service, got my Hyundai Veloster N here; in and out in a few short hours and Steven Rivera and team were very flexible when dealing with my trade-in. New car needed to be brought in from another dealer due to color choice and they were nice enough to allow me to swap my trade-in upon delivery to the house.
Steven had in-depth knowledge of my vehicle and the wifes, communicated well, and was overall friendly / attentive.

Car shopping is not fun but I ve always had a good experience at Universal Hyundai. However, I bought a 2021 Kona from Darrin Diaz yesterday and it was a great experience. Darrin was knowledgeable and fun. He got right down to the number I was hoping for without the stress of staying all day! I appreciate the transparency he gave me. He took care of everything for me and made the experience so much better than when I did it in 2016. I will absolutely see Darrin again whenever I need a new car because I know he s not going to steer me wrong.

Honestly, I will only buy cars from here. Having been to nearly every dealership in Central Florida, I can say with 100% certainty that Universal Hyundai is the best car buying experience I've ever had. So much so that I've purchased two cars from them! Jonathan Weidner sold me a 2016 Hyundai Veloster 4 years ago, and he was so excellent that I never forgot him. Just this past Halloween, I reached out to him about purchasing a 2021 Hyundai Tucson and he remembered me! This man was so legendary that he moved up to a management position! He had his best guy, Carlos DeJesus, help me figure out exactly what my wife and I needed. Then I got to work with Jose C. again, who was once Johnathan's manager. It was like a family reunion! Even though I plan to move out of state, I fully intend to continue doing business with Universal Hyundai. I score it a solid 10 stars out of 5!

I visited Universal Hyundai two weeks ago with my Dad. I was a little nervous because my last car buying experience was such a dreadful one. When we first walked in the dealership, we were immediately greeted by Luis Arevalo. He is the one who took care of us to the end. He was friendly and polite but gave us the space we needed as well. Luis showed us the inventory, took me on test drive and was just overall a very helpful, very knowledgeable person. That morning I prayed for a positive car buying experience and I am so glad God sent us Luis Arevalo. I ended up buying a 2019 Hyundai Sonata at an amazing price. If you're looking for a car and hate car dealerships, come to Universal Hyundai. The people who work here are good people who actually care about what you want.
Car problems far from home, on the way to a hospital, when our car died. Got towed in, checked in, and put in a rental fairly quick. After the hospital visit, was told that it was the engine... Needed a new one. Every thing got handled from beginning to end with ease. Picked up the car a week later with the new engine, everything explained along the process so I wasn't wondering what was going on and when. Props to Andres for handling the car, Alejandro for fixing the car and not leaving fingerprints everywhere (seriously, I'm a shop foreman, and fingerprints are a HUGE deal with me), and Stephen for answering my questions when we picked up. Y'all are awesome!

Spoke with salesperson Matt S. The guy was a wealth of knowledge on the vehicles of my interest. I looked at the Palisade, the Tucson and the Santa Fe. He answered every question I had and was correct on his answers. The Palisade was a little more than I felt I could afford so we focused on the Santa Fe. We worked a great deal but I ended up getting a vehicle with another manufacturer. My choice had nothing to do with the way I was treated, it was based on the wants, needs and value. I have a lease ending in early 2021 and I definitely will be dealing with Matt then. I rate HIM as EXCELLENT!

Very shady. They inspected our vehicle and came up with a long (and expensive) list of repairs. One of the repairs was an oil change, but we just had the oil changed last week. They didn't even check the oil. I will never trust them again, trying to up our bill with faulty claims.

I have always been impressed by the Universal Hyundai team. I love the environment and family friendly feel when I walk in. Not only is the dealership nice but my go-to Sales guy is Carlos De Jesus! So knowledgeable and courteous. I never have buyers remorse (yesterday I purchased my 3rd Hyundai from him). I never feel like I could have got a better deal someplace else. He always listens to my long list of requests and has great attention to detail. That s how he has gained my loyalty. Year 2021: Adding to my previous experience, I recently tried them again to get my car serviced. They are the bottom dirt of Hyundai. Worst customer service and they don t care about customers once they made the purchase. They didn t even care to call and let me know when my car is ready. I went to the showroom after 2 days of no communication and they said that the service center is closed and I should come the next day because they don t even know where my car is and my car keys are.
Do they even care about how much inconvenience they are causing their customers!

I have been a returning customer for years, my last experience was not very honest one , My sales person Paublo was very nice and knew what I was looking for , I told him the 3 cars i was interested in and we took from there ,everything was going very well until the Fiance person got involved, When manager called me and I told him I had NO money to put down he said OH don't worry I'll be working with you myself, I made the appointment to meet with him ,but I never seen or spoke to him after that!! I was told there was rebates and he was gonna give me more for my trade no problem !!! I didn't get the Internet price i was quoted .After much bickering back and forth I was quoted 1 price and when i got to sign paper i was told Oh the rebate on gap insurance was used as down payment ,so again after we was set on price it changed again ,I had to rebuy the gap insurance and now payments went up 100, Most likely I would probably go back to Universal

Dave Lembke sold me my new Ioniq today, he was extremely helpful and polite. We took the base model for a test drive and I told him I liked everything about the car except the seats were too rigid for me. He went and moved a bunch of cars to get to an SE trim Ioniq that was stuck in the back of their new deliveries that wasn't in their inventory yet. Since no one had touched it yet they took a brief moment to get it prepped and it turned out the seats (and overall car) worked much better for my back and neck. I was impressed with how he took one irk I had with the car and did a bunch of extra work to make sure I got in the right vehicle. Since the vehicle was not in inventory yet the dealer had to do more prep/paperwork to get it processed as well as detailing and Dave was constantly coming out and chatting with me, keeping me updated on the progress, and then I drove off in my brand new car. Very impressed with Dave and the Ioniq SE is an outstanding product.
While we ultimately ended up purchasing a different make and model somewhere else, I wanted to give a shout out to Darrin Diaz, who was great to work with in thoroughly showing us the car we came to test drive. He made the experience fun, while being honest and transparent. Highly recommend asking for him!
