I've now purchased a total of 8 vehicles here, and always have an overall positive experience. My sales rep this time, Andrew S, was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. My one criticism about this dealership, which is SUPER frustrating in today's age of technology... they never seem to know what they have in stock, and what they don't. Apparently the information on their website is totally inaccurate, and the only way to find the vehicle you want is for you and your salesperson to aimlessly roam the lot. I feel like this should be improved. Otherwise, all is good.. and I love my new car, 2021 Rogue. Thank you!

I'm on my third year as a Hyundai customer and I'm on my second vehicle. I bought an Accent then decided to upgrade a year later. Both buying experiences were excellent but when I bought my Elantra I hand an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Fabio. He was very kind and treated me with a great amount of respect. Buying a car as a female is intimidating especially when you walk into the sales area the testosterone is seeping from the walls. Fabio was kind and genuine so I felt very comfortable signing my life away for a brand new car. Also, Rhoda has been my service manager since day one. She is a ROCK STAR! If she told me my car needed a new kidney I would believe her because she is honest, transparent, and very respectful of time. She is a superior asset to the dealership and I may reconsider taking my car there for service if she ever left. I also want to commend the dealership for the reminders that are sent. I love the text feature and really appreciate the follow up after service to check how my car is doing. If I can find a man that is as attentive as Universal Hyundai is, I would get married on the spot. I highly recommend this dealership. Any poor reviews are one-offs. They are generally amazing.

This dealership is wonderful when you are shopping for a new vehicle but that ends as soon as the papers are signed. The salesperson couldn t answer our questions or phone calls quick enough when we were looking at cars on their lot. He even called us over the weekend offering to deliver the car a few days early to complete the sale but we were not home for that to happen so we picked it up as scheduled. After the purchase we had some questions and issues that I needed resolved so I attempted to call the salesperson, the finance office, and the location manager. I assumed since I had told the receptionist what I was calling about that is the reason none of them would answer my repeated calls. I had to call back, hang up when the receptionist transferred me to a voicemail and call back, repeating non stop until they finally called me back.

Their service dept is just as horrible with their customer service. I called at 8:38 on a Sat Morning and made made an appt for our complimentary oil change, tire rotation and min inspection for 2:30. I arrived for my appt on time and was told it would be approx 1 1/2 to 2 hrs until they could service the car. I explained I had an appt. UF was told that time was just to reserve a space in line for me after I got there which is the same as walking in and getting in line . I explained I had other commitments and could not wait so I needed to reschedule. I requested the 1st appt after opening on Tuesday morning and was told to arrive at 7 am. I actually arrived at 6:30 and was first in line. However, after the employees arrived they checked in everyone in line, took my car, parked in in the service cage and proceeded to pulled the 3 vehicles behind me into the service bays. After waiting 40 min I complained and was given an attitude by a service coordinator named RHONDA. I requested to speak to a manager. While I waited my car was pulled into a bay for service. The manager gave me the routine I m sorry your upset excuse saying he would check on it. He came back out with papers for me to sign and said it was finished. After I got home I noticed that they DID NOT rotate my tires as they said they did - 2 ways I know this is a fact - they never asked me for the lug nut lock key for my tires and one tire with a specific mark on it is still on the same.

Not only is this location rude after the sale they also LIE about the service they are supposed to provide. We love our car but will pick another friendlier, more honest dealership going forward.

I tried purchasing a car online based on an advertised price on their website. System kept changing the price so I setup an appointment for the following day. When I arrived for my appointment i was told that the advertised price was a mistake. The price was incorrect and so was the car. The car turned out to be used. I accepted the excuse and was told that they would reach out to the general manager and try to work out a deal for me. Never heard back from the sales person. Never heard back from a member of management. Very poor service. Very disappointed.

I recently went to Universal Hyundai and the sales rep Andrew Terry was a 5 star help in my first car buying experience. He didn't give off a high pressure environment during the entire process, Andrew was very helpful during the entire process and gave tips and information for getting me the best possible option for my purchase, Andrew helped find me the car best suited for me and was wonderful help with Hector during the finance portion of the experience as well. Overall the people at Universal Hyundai gave the best customer service possible and made the experience a welcome experience for further purchases when looking for a new car. I would highly recommend purchasing from Universal Hyundai and asking for Andrew Terry for the best assistance.

I would give more starts if I could to Mr. BARBAS. We have gone through so many dealerships and small car places this week and we could not make a decision as we did not feel comfortable with the staff. We were told about this location and recommended to see Mr. Barbas. From the moment my husband and I got there, he was welcoming and professional. He listened to our needs and showed us different options. Never tried to sell us more than what we needed.We walked out with a car happier. He made the process so smooth and easy on us. I visited this dealership in mid-August. We were searching for a good used car that was good on gas. I am with USAA. They offer a car buying service thru TrueCar. We found a 2015 Hyundai Elantra. TrueCar offered a discounted price of $5838. When I went to sign the contract, I made the mistake of letting the finance dept. focus me on the final price for the car after taxes. When I went home to complete my financing with USAA I noticed the sale price was changed from $5838 to $6094. This changed the whole price of the car! I thought it was just a mistake. Nope! They knew they changed it and wouldn't budge on changing the price. Transparency and honesty are out the door. So, if you buy a car from these people, take your calculator and ADD EACH AND EVERY LINE of the financial contract. Also, make sure the taxes are correct. Orange County charges 6% for sales tax, .5% for County Sales tax. Universal Hyundai adds another $75 under the county tax line on their financial document. I tried reaching out to Lori Bautista, Customer Relations Manger. But never got a response. So, beware. Take your calculator and take another person to listen to everything they say. Fast talkers and DO NOT give them the opportunity to distract you with pointing out the bottom number. LOOK AT THE SALES PRICE and make sure it is correct.

Wonderful service at this dealership. Chris was our salesman and he made the experience as easy as possible. We went in to the dealership feeling mentally exhausted from car shopping all day. Chris was so friendly and down to earth that it helped to cut the stress and pressure we were feeling prior to walking in.
Also to mention is Alexis. He was great with helping us get to a comfortable monthly payment without making us feel pressured.
I highly recommend the Universal Hyundai group to purchase your next vehicle. No gimmicks, tricks, or pushy sales people like many other places.

Alexis got me a great deal on the Tucson that I chose with a better monthly payment then I thought I would get. I am forever grateful for my experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

I was suppose to receive a gift card due to the 2 hour wait time I had on my car after I was told my car was ready. I still haven t gotten the gift card after reaching out twice.

I bought my car new an they still had to clean out all the stickers an wrapping on inside. There was still lots of stickers an I ended up having to re clean the inside from the sticky residue, so that wasn t great.

Being a long time Ford customer I was uncertain going into the situation but Carlos C. was very eager to help and had so much information to give; right down to the knowledge he possessed regarding the way the engine dismounts in the case of an accident, as well as the many different options Hyundai had to offer. The whole experience was overall, swift and the attentiveness of Carlos as well as the Sales Manager, Alexis, would ve made any wait far more bearable. Go see Dave Lembke sales consultant, he was so understanding and helpful since the first time I walked through the door. I came in for some info on a certified car they had for sale and I really wanted to test drive it. And he wasn t ever pushy about a sale. He actually gave me great advice on the best way to go about it, and I really loved the car. I did say I wanted to think about it and again I never felt pressured and when I came back to next day he helped me get a great deal on my interest rate and payment plan. And everything was so smooth and quick. Even after I left he did a follow up call on a question I had about my next maintenance. And made sure he always gave me the right answer to any questions I had. Definitely go see him when you re looking to get your next car.

He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our short but enjoyable experience there. I took my car in over a month ago because an outer trim on my vehicle is rusting up. I was told by Gil, who is no longer there, that it was covered under my warranty and the pictures would be submitted for review. They lost my pictures that were taken by them, and i went back in. Then this time Gil said manager told him it wasn't covered because it comes right off. I told him it wasn't dirt, it was rust. They tried to clean it in front me and of course it didn't come off. Gil took pictures again with a camera and said he would submit it again. Almost a month goes by and no one has called me. I left several messages with no replies back. Then i called one last time, and at that time was told Gil was no longer there. Now i am told to take pictures myself and text to them, which i did. another week goes by and still no response. I called today and was told it was not covered by warranty because it can be cleaned off and its mold. but yet a few weeks ago, Gil tried to clean it off right in front of manager to show it wasn't dirt or mold. Ridiculous company. They find any excuse not to cover anything. and i waited a month to be told this. no communication among each other. So now i have to deal with a rusty black exterior on my car that they say is "mold or dirt" when its not. So over this company. Never buying a hyundai again.

refund request for service order of 11/13/2020 - ref Gilbert Ortiz -- I have made multiple attempts to request a refund of this service order, but you are not returning my calls. Every time I call I am told to speak to a different person, and that person is never in the office. I have left multiple messages which are not returned.
I attempted to reverse the credit card charge but your Elizabeth Hernandez claim there has been no attempt by me to cancel the service order, which is a lie, and my attempt was rejected.

If you do not respond to this message by January 10th 2021 I will be taking the matter to small claims court.

Since I bought my car in 2014 here I keep coming for the oil change, tire rotation, and anything that can happen to my car. The customer service is excellent. I love how Gil takes care of my car and how he is always happy to help me and to answer all my questions. When I was there I noticed how they cleaned the seats in the waiting area multiple times. With everything that is going on is good to know that they are taking the necessary precautions to keep all costumers safe.

No matter how many times you enter a dealership, buying a car is a very stressful experience. This was experience number 6 for me. However, this time my experience was the opposite. I was welcomed as soon as I entered the building and one on the sales representative offer his help. Few minutes later Dave Lembke showed up after the sales representative called. Dave s customer service was second to none. His honesty and professionalism made the process easy and efficient. He and his team did everything they could to make sure I was pleased. At the end, thanks to Dave s knowledge and carrying attitude, I bought the PREFECT SUV (Palisade Limited).

One of the best experiences buying a car. Jay the salesperson and Ramces the sales manager were beyond amazing!! They worked with me and my family so well and got us a great deal. I told them an amount I did not want to go over and they worked with me to get below that amount and no money down!! They also gave me the option to have the car delivered it was a blessing not having to go back to the dealership. The finance guy was great as well, I don t remember his name, but he only offered me one extra thing and did not try to sell me a bunch of different extras, which most dealerships do. Overall an amazing experience & I love my new car! I highly recommend going to Universal Hyundai

Nicolas and Frankie did an amazing job helping me with the purchase of my genesis g70 sport. They texted back and forth with me for almost 2 weeks in the process, until i felt comfortable making the purchase within my budget. Even after buying the car it was missing the wheel locks which was part of the car and within less than 24 hours Frankie made sure they were installed. They have better prices and rebates than any other genesis dealership I looked around. Will definitely go back in 3 years once my lease is up. Ive bought many cars in my life and this has been my best experience

As a first time brand new car buyer, this was very scary for me to do by myself. Luis made it easy and realized early on that I did not understand usual car lingo and translated everything for me. He reassured me of how safe Hyundai cars are, which I found out actually helped lower my insurance payments later! Jose was also extremely helpful in helping translate all the financial and legal paperwork for me. I will make sure I say hi to them every time I'm in for any service for sure! I give 1 star for the car being fixed for what we needed and 1 star for Gio's customer service. Everything else was horrible. The wait time wasn't explained and we didn't get any idea of how long we would be there. No signs of the customer being valued and thought of first. Then, Gio told us we can "get a free car wash" and told us to go where the car wash was. Now, I have been to other dealerships and when I service my car, the car wash is usually done right after and then I'm on way. Don't understand why I was serviced and then sent somewhere to get the car wash. Nevertheless, we went since it was free. These dealerships make it impossible for you to get any kind of deal, especially when it's free. We had to leave the dealership and go around a corner to another dealership just to get to the car wash and when we got there, the car wash was closed and "out of order". This shows either a huge lack of communication in this dealership or a huge lack of customer obsession. Super frustrated because I could not understand how no one knows what's right, what's open, and what's best for the overall person.

I went in to test drive the new 2021 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid as my lease had a few months left. My sales rep was Fabio and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me find the color car I wanted. We drove around the parking lot with the key trying to find the only one they had in the color I wanted. He went back and forth with the guys behind the glass to get down to the monthly payment that was within my budget and that I felt comfortable with. I never felt pressured to get a car that day which was also very nice.

I went in looking for a reliable vehicle for my daughter who is starting college and walked out with a brand new Kona. She is in love with this vehicle. Salesperson Carlos was an amazingly informative person with a personality that made you smile throughout. I was not aware of the additional rebate due to my veteran status. Received an amazing deal on my trade in clunker and Carlos came out after the sale to retrieve it. On top of this my daughter had left a roll of money in the ash tray of the old car and Carlos made the drive all the way back to our home to return it. I highly recommend Universal Hyundai for a great vehicle at a great price sold by an incredibly professional, informative and overall good staff of people. Very refreshing to see this kind of customer service still exists.

Just got a nice new car. I just want to thank all the staff at Universal Hyundai for make it possible. But, especial thanks to Dave Lembke who was my sales rep and helped me get my car. If it was not for Dave, I would not have my car. He was very professional, patient, and nice to me. He explained everything and listened to me as well. He also provided great customer service and hope that Dave gets to work to Universal Hyundai for a long time. He is truly great and would recommend him.
