Lack of communication. I submitted an application and was there already 2 hours and have not receive a decision I told them it s taking too long they stated they were waiting on a specific bank but because it s the weekend they won t know till Monday and they will call me with the result .I call Monday oh yeah let me look at the application and call you back. Never received a call back. They could have been professional and call me or even email me with a result good or bad. Sad because I purchase a vehicle from them over a year ago. Anyways I guess it s meant to be got a better deal elsewhere.

I had my new car delivered at work and after only driving less than 100 miles I went to wash my car and noticed that the passenger front alloy wheel had been scuffed up. I contacted the dealership and the salesperson wanted to argue with me . I then spoke to L Bautista and still no resolution. We have been doing phone tag for a week and i also have been emailing with no resolution. I had lots of quick responses while we were working out the deal but poor communication after the sale.

I was very hesitant about going to any car dealership after my last terrible experience a couple of years ago somewhere else. Julian Vila was my salesman and he was extremely patient with us. He was also very open with the numbers while looking at cars, so I knew what the monthly payments looked like. That was nice!! I never want to get my hopes up and then realize I can t afford the payment. I went to this location because I wanted to take a look at both Nissan and Hyundai. It was a great experience not having to go to different dealerships, and we just walked across the parking lot to the other side. Julian stayed with us the whole time. I ultimately got a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. It was a very LONG process, but very smooth and enjoyable! We were able to even able to go to lunch crunch numbers over at Longhorn next door! We came back, got the ball rolling, and got it done! I m very happy with my purchase! The other members of the sales team were excellent with helping us out too!

The salesmen at Universal Hyundai are nothing short of scam artists. After selling my family a car with a chip on the passenger s side door handle back in November, salesman Alexis has shown his true colors as a modern day grifter. I was led on and falsely promised to have the chip repaired at no cost. For months I have called, left voice messages, and even personally come in to the dealership on several occasions (mind you, it s at least a 40 minute drive from where I live) in hopes of having my promise fulfilled, only to be brushed off and turned away. I have been provided a false personal phone number from Alexis and I have been assured to receive a call back numerous times to no avail. At this dealership their facetious regard for customer satisfaction goes out the door the second a contract is signed. If you re looking to buy a car: you re better off making a deal with the devil.

The experience was all that I hoped for in a car buying process! Giovanni S. was very knowledgeable in all of the car features and helped me to narrow down my choice. He went above and beyond to make this experience as stress free as possible. He came across as a genuine person who wanted to make sure I was happy with my choice and to find what works for me. He rocks!! Also, Ramses was a HUGE help and was able to answer the (many) questions that I had while providing great customer service. These two are excellent and I highly recommend this dealership. I visited Universal Hyundai on 07/09/2020 with full intentions of just tagging along while my boyfriend had his car worked on in their service center. At that time, we bumped into the man ,named Errol Gillette that had helped my boyfriend buy his 2019 Hyundai Sonata. He helped us while we were going through a rough patch as our Toyota Corolla had been totalled and he made the car buying experience fantastic! We felt no pressure to buy any car there and he was more than helpful to give us any information we asked about each car he showed us, and had tons of patience while we searched for the perfect car. While we were discussing with him catching up on how we are doing, we decided to let him know that I myself was interested in getting a new car, as I had to give my previous vehicle (2010 Jeep Patriot) to my Father to drive. I had no intention on buying a new car that day but Gillette had no problem showing us the car I was interested in and although we couldn't test drive it, he went above and beyond just to give us a chance to look inside the car. Then I made the decision that I would be buying the car and he made the process smooth as can be. I felt no pressure as I was deciding on which car to go with and he was very patient as my boyfriend and I went over our budget to see if a new car was right for us. As I finally made a decision, he made sure I was comfortable in that decision before moving ahead with the rest of the process, making no hesitation to answer any questions I had and checking with the higher ups to make sure everything was great with that car. He made me feel comfortable as this is the first time I had been to an actual dealership to purchase a car. In the past, due to bad experiences, I haven't trusted car dealerships but Gillette and the Universal Hyundai team are nothing short of trustworthy and dependable. I am so extremely happy with my new 2020 Venue and the team has taken great care of me since buying my car! Really great people to work with here and I would highly recommend working with Gillette if you ever feel unsure that a new car would be right for you. He's an all around great person and a great asset to the Universal Hyundai team. Thanks for making my car buying experience wonderful and if you are in the market for a new vehicle, I would highly recommend Universal Hyundai and their team!
