Loan processing was smooth, but paying payments is a real pain. I have wasted 4 hrs so far just trying to make my 1st payment.

We were nervous to start the house buying process. We heard the process was long and strenuous but working with Jason was extremely easy! He is known for explaining every step of the process as many times as his client needs. We felt a bit dumb and inexperienced talking to him the first time but by the time we bought a house we felt like "experts" thanks to him and the time he gave to us in-person and over the phone explaining everything step-by-step.

The closing process was quick and thorough and we felt like we could trust him and his team every step of the way. Jason worked hand-in-hand with our real estate group (Keller-Williams' Awaka Group, Dalton LaFrance as our agent). This was convenient for us, and Jason was able to provide us very quick updates to our projected mortgage numbers (principle, interest, monthly payments, etc) for each new property we were interested in. We will recommend him to any friend of ours looking for a lender.

NOT even worthy of a star. THIS IS A SCAM!!! I have asked them over and over again NOT to call me. My businesses DO NOT need form of lending. They keep calling my cell phone over and over again.

Working with Joel and Universal Lending, took the increasingly complex process of purchasing a home, and made it very manageable. Their communication was always prompt, effective and accompanied by patience while guiding us through the process. Having the ability to submit and track required documentation almost solely online really simplified everything. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I would definitely do it again.

I have used Jody and her team to buy 2 houses plus a refi. In addition, in the crazy Denver housing market, we were under contract more times than I can count. They were always on top of everything we needed and went above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about my experience!

Communication is horrible. You can never get a hold of someone that can actually help you. Instead you get transferred around getting the same story or never get a reply from the message center. They leave out key details of loans and blind side you with extra interest charges.

If you are shopping for a home loan, then look no further then Universal Lending. Elizabeth and her team are simply fantastic! I had a situation come up 45 days before closing that was going to negatively affect my credit and would have cost me thousands of dollars up front and much more then that once I closed with a higher monthly mortgage payment. This was a case of fraud and I was going to have to deal with the consequences, but with the help and guidance of Elizabeth and Heather, at the 11th hour, we got the negative item removed from my credit and I got the loan I deserved. I can't say enough good things about Universal lending and I will for sure use them again for any future real estate purchases.

Joe Coughlin has the worst customer service I have dealt with. After making my first mortgage payment with Universal Lending through the phone, I asked for a receipt. He told me we would send it right over. Two hours past and I was still waiting on the receipt. Called again and he notified me that he hasn t sent it yet. I then called towards the end of the day and it seemed like he was too lazy to get up, make a copy, scan that copy, and email it to me. I don t think I am asking for too much. Why is it such a pain to get a receipt of a payment? I hope to never have to work with Universal Lending Corporation again.

Jody Amend was our originator and she was awesome! We asked TONS of questions being first time buyers and she was very concise in her answers and getting back to us in a timely fashion.

We've heard horror stories of how stressful these processes can be from our friends who have had bad lenders that made things really hard- no stress at all and super easy. Just lots of paperwork to fill out, submit and lots of questions to ask.
