I came across United spas randomly on Craiglist and was skeptical of the great deals. Once dealing with Nadine and everyone else who followed I realized it was the best decision. What wonderful service and knowledge from the sales people to the deleivery guys. Can't beat the warranties and the amazing tubs they provide. Thank you so much. And I'm so happy so far.

RUN, DON"T WALK AWAY from this extremely shady company. If you want broken promises, lack of communication, lectures, excuses, and lack of responsibility, then this is the company for you! Purchasing a spa should be a happy experience for an item that is supposed to help relax you. Instead I am up at 5:30am, unable to sleep and practically shaking with rage and frustration over my dealings with Nadine and United Spas Manufacturing (USM). Here is the short story about what happened. I don't have enough space to share all of the details that really draw a full picture of how awful this experience has been: I bought a spa because I was told that it was in stock and would be delivered June 9. No one at USM called to let me know that the spa would not be delivered that day--I called the afternoon of June 8 to check on details (twice) before being given a load of excuses that ranged from a horrible car accident to being overwhelmed with phone calls, to people not returning to work, etc. I was being lectured about how I needed to respond, and being told that I was not on the calendar for the next day (even though I'd had the appointment confirmed by three other people previously--Jay, Eleanor, and another newer employee). I offered to have a spa delivery service come get my spa, to which Nadine responded that if I did that would void any warranty on it. She then alluded that if there was something wrong with the spa, it would take 3 weeks to get someone out to fix it. When I expressed my concerns Nadine offered me a refund on June 9. I was upset at the time and didn't want to make a decision based in anger, so I told her that I'd call her back in a few days. After discussing with my husband the myriad concerns we had about our dealings thus far with the company, I called and said that I'd like to take her up on the offer of my refund. Nadine now refuses to refund my money and continues to insist that she will deliver the spa that I've made clear that I no longer feel comfortable purchasing from her, all the while telling me how happy I will be.

United Spas has outstanding customer service every time I have called. Eleanor not only solved my immediate issue, but went out of her way to get me information and parts to keep my spa sparkling clean. So important to have service like this.

got a great deal on a spa! the spa is low maintanence and excellent quality. the customer service has been outstanding even 2 years later Nadine went out of her way to look up the lift for the lid and text me the directions for install! The two technicians came out and did the annual service. They knew the stuff, fixed all the issues and were on their way. Two very hard working individuals. Highly recommend them.

I got an older model United Spa from a friend of mine. When I got the spa from him, it didn't come with the right cover. I decided to give the manufacturer a call. I received nothing but professional and curteous service from one of the sale agents. Eleanor was so kind and helpful in getting me a replacement cover for my spa that was the perfect size and color of my choice. My spa is from 2006, in due time, I will definitely be shopping with United Spas for my next hot tub purchase. Thank you Eleanor and team! - Declan

We are so pleased with our new United spa!! Tim, the owner, gave me a great trade in on my old (11 years) United spa.All the jets made my muscles relax instantly! They got the new spa from Salida to Martinez very fast. The moving out of the old one and placing the new one was was performed professionally. Their answer to my questions were helpful and complete. The LED lights are beautiful and fun.

Horrible communications skills, no idea how this company stays in business. Owner is arrogant. All of the negative reviews reflect our experience "in a NUT SHELL." Best to run the other way, as others say in their reviews.

I am very happy with United Spa. Love my swim spa and have had now for 6 months or so and it works great. Nadine as been awesome. Luckily she and her husband own the company because she does a great job. Deal with Nadine and you will be happy. Spa is exactly what I hoped for at a great price. Way better prices than the others out there. Highly recommend.

I purchased a spa from United Spas in 2004. It has been awesome! I wanted to upgrade so I called them again. Nadine is great! My new spa is being delivered on Friday. So excited since we use our spa daily!!

While writing this review , I'm relaxing in my United Spa model Malibu and in heaven. The purchase of this spa last November was quite easy. Just what I wanted with easy financing. No problems with installation and since then it works great. Did have a little problem with it tripping it's fuse on the breaker but that was my fault, I just have to keep my filter cleaner during the dusty summer months. This is my first hot tub and I am totally happy with the product and their customer service is awesome. Happy customer here.

We had a wonderful experienced during the purchasing, delivery and setup of our Hot Tub. After the most positive recommendation from one of their return customer, we completed our purchase, delivery and setup in two weeks. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for spa.

We just bought our second spa from Nadine at United Spas a few weeks ago. My first spa purchase with United was in 2004. Everything about the process was stellar - from the direct communication, to the quick returned phone calls to the accurate information from Nadine...and ALWAYS with a smile. What a pleasure to deal with an honest person and solid company! We LOVE our new spa even more than the original one! We ordered it with a custom volcano jet and were quoted a 10-day delivery date from the time of purchase. They delivered on-time and were professional in setting it up, including the spa cover lifter. Excellent service, superior quality, locally owned family business. "Buyer Beware" Bait & switch. If you are looking for a cheap spa buy one from Costco. Everything is included at Costco and you can return it if you don't like it. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. These people prey on the uninformed...

Needed a cover for my Presidential United Spa, contacted the manufacturer in Salida and im glad i did .The customer service rep , Eleanor assisted me and she was a *jewel...she made it easy, despite my lack of knowledge about jacuzzis and i appreciated that she was genuinely concerned that i was getting what i needed and it was the right cover for my jacuzzi. I received my new spa yesterday and I couldn't be happier. It took me quite a while to decide on what tub I wanted and Nadine and Tim were very helpful in working with me. I let them know what features I wanted and my budget and they delivered a tub that far exceeded my expectations. Additionally setup and delivery were exceptionally easy. Matt is a true professional. The 800 plus pound tub was removed from a flat bed trailer and moved over 200 feet with just Matt and myself. His use of leverage and the sled was ingenious.

UPDATE: we had to get the sheriffs involved and the sheriffs have advised us to get a restraining order ASAP: I have never once in my life left a bad review. There s a first for everything. This is the most unprofessional company I ve ever dealt with. False advertisement, unkept promises, & very shady business overall. We purchased and paid for a spa (a certain color), same day delivery (per their add), & full installation. Our spa was delivered over a week late, was a completely different color than we bought, we got a beat up old cover, AND their guys dropped it off and said they couldn t hook it up because they forgot their tools. When we called/texted to very nicely look for some kind of help/reassurance that they would fix the problem, Nadines response was that she would eventually have her guys come over and paint the spa the color we ordered & drop off the new cover we also paid for. After days of no answered phone calls or communication I texted Nadine and told her we did not feel comfortable having her crew in our backyard and to let me know when she would drop off the new cover so I can put the old beat up one in the front. No communication. I ended up painting the hot tub myself and hooking it up. When we did hook it up it blew up and we had to have our pool guy look at it to fix it. We told our CC company this is fraud because we paid 2k in cash upfront and the remainder 5k on CC and they hadn t delivered the hot tub & were not answering our calls. We thought the whole thing was a scam (which it was). It took them months to figure out we canceled the remainder 5k & once they found out they called my elderly mother (Whom I don t live with and have no idea how they got her number as she had nothing to do with the transaction) and threatened her saying they were coming to her house and ours with the police and would get into our backyard to take the spa. We called Nadine several times to let her know we didn t want the spa and to come get it and refund us and she refused and responded by saying, I can add a light up party package to the spa for your troubles. Long story short, we were hassled, threatened, harassed, and scammed by this company. The man went as far as saying to my elderly mother that she needed to tell him when my kids wouldn t be home so he wouldn t scare them when he showed up at my house. STAY FAR AWAY from this company. Very very scary people and situation.

Great people to deal with and we love our spa! Every time I call the person on the other end of the line is so helpful - Eleanor answered today and gave me information over the phone that I thought would require having a technician come out. When we bought our spa, Tim was amazing! Patient, informative and willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. The installers were prompt, incredibly efficient and very thorough when instructing us on use and care. Seriously - this was one of the best "sales" experiences ever. If only every business would conduct themselves like these folks!!! THANKS UNITED SPAS!!!

Purchased a hot tub with all the bells and whistles we've been looking for. Delivery of the spa was delayed one time which is understandable given the current COVID pandemic situation. Delivery was smooth and installers were very helpful. Initially the tub would not turn on but Nadine was so helpful with me over the phone to correct a common electrical problem in our 220v GFI box unrelated to the tub itself. Nadine took the time to stay on the phone to make sure our tub was running and it finally turned on and has been great since. Our whole family loves the cool lighting and stereo. And Tim, you weren't kidding, the fountain is practically like being at Bellagio!!! We all feel like we are vacationing in our own backyard!!! Thanks United Spas!!!

I just got a pre-owned spa from United spas, the owner nadine and the staff were always helpful with all of my many questions and I am extremely happy with my spa. It service and spa were wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a spa.

Absolutely superior operation from Tim in Sales as we walked in without an appointment, yet he helped us anyway; to Stephanie who watched over us as we waited for our yard to be ready for the spa -- almost 2 months and she still likes us; to Chris and Tyler who installed the spa and explained its operation; to Nate who had to make a service call for a minor adjustment -- he was dispatched almost immediately after calling them at 5:00 PM on a Saturday; and back to Stephanie who held this operation together to ensure our ultimate satisfaction... Great Folks...thanks!

We recently purchased a home that came with a United Spas Manufacturing unit. I called the office to get some information on the model we now own. Eleanor Pena was great to work with and really listened to what we needed. She helped me make sure it was one of their hot tubs and not a competitors before getting the owner's manual to me. Feeling much more confident about hot tub ownership now.

We recently purchased a spa from Danielle out of the Milpitas showroom. The process was completely painless and took less than an hour. The installation was equally painless. Bobby arrived on time despite terrible traffic and being one man down. We maneuvered the spa into position and successfully dropped it into the hole we had pre-dug. He had it wired up and filling in just over two hours. By the end of the day, my granddaughter was laughing and splashing like crazy. Thanks much Chris Gatley (Grandpa)

We have had our luxurious 2-person United Spa for 3 years. Rhonda and office staff are professional in responding to questions or occasional concerns we have about water chemistry and general upkeep. This jacussi is meant to last.

Delivery delayed for one week. When spa was finally delivered, the guys did not have the tools to complete the install. Ordered 110v, they sent 220v. Delivery driver said that he would return in a couple of days and complete the install. That was 3 weeks ago. So one month after order (3 weeks after delivery and paid in full). I still don't have a working spa. Multiple calls have been met with excuse after excuse. Everything being blamed on virus and a lack of workers..... Ok if that is the case... stop selling new spas and service your existing customers. Total BS. Things happen... these are difficult times. But there is no excuse for a total lack of communication... Right now, feels like they stole my money. I have several other options and I went with them.... Huge mistake... Don't walk away from these guys... RUN!!!

We have had our spa for 30 days and have been in it everyday! Just what we needed to relax. They exceeded our expectations with their quick delivery and amazing customer service. We have loved our spa since we bought it from United Spas 8 years ago. They call to check in a couple times a year and are always very helpful and informative. I definitely recommend buying from them as you can trust their products and rely on them...and the gal in the office is always so friendly on the phone!

I purchased a spa in 2008 and knock on wood it has been fantastic I paid $780 for new items they said I would have it in a month delivered. 2 times they gave me a delivery date, I took time off from work, nobody called to canceled each time. I can t get through to them what so ever, they have been a great company until now. No response back what so ever. When I finally did get through to them they made a promise they would call me back the next day with a delivery date still no response so now I m thinking they are burning me of my $780 looks like I ve got to make a 4 hour trip for a frecken refund. I m not happy about this at all!!! Just call me back that all I expect from them and a promise on when I can get my stuff that I paid $100 to have delivered.

We just had our spa delivered yesterday and we love it already. The price was better than comparable products from other companies. The delivery guys showed up within the window that was given. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant as ther did a great job answering my many questions.

Linda Rogers My husband and I bought a 'used UNITED SPAS Executive Suite Spa' from someone 5-1/2 years ago. This spa we bought was in mint condition when we purchased it from him and is an amazing spa! We have gotten more use out of this spa than anything we own inside of our home! We continue to purchase filters and any parts that wear out through United Spa given that their service is always outstanding. Staff are always efficient, always followup phone calls or follow-up emails keeping us informed. Most recently, Elizabeth Perez was extremely helpful in placing an order and having it here within 2 days following the order placed. Service doesn't get better than what we get through United Spa!

United Spa delivered ours new SPA yesterday. They made it smaller so that it would fit through the front door and the sliding glass door out to the deck. It made the installation of the our new Spa quick and easy. They reduced the height by 1 inch and the diameter by 2 inches. The larger SPA, standard size would have required a crane to install. I live on the hill and it would be impossible to go around the house. Great people to work with

We called for service on an old unit during the stay at home order, and the staff was great to help us out. They offered us suggestions, and without pushing us, we agreed to upgrading to a new unit. They took care of us right away and had us in hot water in just a few days. Even short staffed, they took great care of us. Highly recommend this group.

Our tub arrived last Wednesday, actually one day ahead of schedule. I know that people were concerned about the time it takes to get your hot tub, but they were clear with us from the top about the timing. When we talked to another hot tub they were 6 month out and more expensive. We love our tub! Honestly the post service after our delivery has been even better.

I have owned my United Spa hot tub for a month and a half. So far, everything is top notch. And, I mean everything. I am using their ozone along with a small amount of bromide tablets. The water clarity is great and easy to keep crystal clear. Everyone at United Spas has been really nice to work with. I love the owner / sales person. The delivery guys really worked hard to get my spa into where it need to go. I did have a repairman come by to do a minor seal on the control panel. One corner was lifting up. No water was getting in, but they came by and fixed it up within a few days. I think this company really works hard to keep its customers happy. On top of all that, the price cannot be beat. While it is still expensive, it is much less than a comparable model. I would highly recommend anyone looking into hot tubs check this company out.

Our United Spa that we purchased from their Salida store is only four months old and has already given us so many countless, precious, unforgettable family memories. From the moment we decided to go with United Spa our experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Their attention to customer satisfaction, detail, and follow through so be a textbook example of how a business should be run. We are very pleased with their service and product. (P.S. Glad we got the light kit)

This company is an absolute travesty we were sold a very large swim spa for a person who is wheel chair bound and not able to climb stairs or step down onto something like this. They assured us that it would work and they would help find a chair lift . Needless to say we were advised to google hoist me in my hot tub in order to find a lift . Straight up laughable! We proceeded to wait months upon months to get hand rails and a cover installed in which we had to pay for up front . Still waiting on those . Oh and it was also promised that it would be no problem to finance the spa. However, when the time came for that they sent links that did not work to get any of that done and kept saying , oh we didn t realize this was going to be financed, we thought you were paying cash . This was after several conversations stating we were going to finance the Spa .

I've had a United Spa for over a year now. What a great asset to my life. I'm a retired Carpenter and I still am very active in sports and work around the house. When I over do it (which is more the norm) just 20 minutes and I'm back to 95%. I haven't taken any pain pills since I've had the Spa. The customer service and support is not only helpful and professional; but also friendly and kind. Just a shout out to Elenor and Sam for the help. I'm very grateful, thanks.

My husband Ross and I had our new United Spa delivered yesterday. We bought the Balboa without the lounge. It was everything it was promised to be. We did SPLURGE and get the radio, the ozone and the fountain!! Love it!! The owners, Tim (son) and Nadine (mom) were very knowledgeable about their product and its equipment, manufacturing and how to use it, excetera. Delivery was very smooth and as promised. Both our delivery driver's, Matt and Matt, were VERY helpful. Super nice guys and worked there tails off delivering and setting up our spa in 105 degree weather!!! They didn't complain once! Even though it was a difficult and tight squeeze. Even had a follow up phone call the day after delivery to make sure everything was working well and with extra instructions to clarify some questions I had. All in all, we highly recommend United Spas

We have had our United Spas hot tub for 10+ years and still love it. They call us on a regular basis just to see if everything is working all right and see if we need any thing. They called us a couple of weeks ago to check in and I told them we needed a new cover for the hot tub. They delivered one the very next day! Great service and very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable staff !

I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but I thought it was worth mentioning, that today was the first time I've had to call United Spa with any kind of an issue...and I've used it almost daily since I purchased it close to 20 years ago. And the good news is it looks like this is going to be an easy fix. I've never purchased anyting that's given me that kind of a return on investment...EVER. United Spas prices are competitive. I bought my spot through Tim. Who price matched another company right on the spot. The delivery was on time. The two Stephens delivered the spa very professionally, and were very pleasant guys. I called the next day for a Customer Service to help with programming of my spa. Eleanor walked me through the steps very easily.

Wow! I would not go anywhere else in the Central Valley for a Spa! I was doing some Spa shopping in late spring and thank goodness our last stop was at United Spas. Nadine graciously slipped me in between appointments and showed me the floor and what they had to offer. She was very knowledgeable about the whole process from fabrication to actually installing it in our home, she even knew all about the electrical. Now I am not a Impulse buyer, and I like to take my time with purchases like these but Nadine made my Wife and I feel like family, I knew this was our place! Not only that, but the Deal they gave us blew all the other Local Spa companies out of the Water! After the spa was delivered (within a few days, only because I bought it on a Friday afternoon) and my electrician set up the electrical, I called with a couple of more questions about the hook-up and Nadine and her Husband (the owner) did not hesitate to make sure I was taken care of personally right then and there. Once the Spa was up and Running my wife and I were in heaven enjoying our new spa. We have had our Spa for 4-5 months now and LOVE the Service at United Spas. We have called a few times to dial in some of the maintenance needs required with spa ownership as well as some of the modifications and programming needed to increase efficiency on or electric bill. We have been met with prompt and excellent customer service every time. On our last phone call Desiree was able to walk me through programming the Spa to make it will be more energy efficient. She was sweet, professional and also very knowledgeable about the products at United Spas. The products and services here are top notch! We have had our spa for about about a month. I see all of the negative reviews below and they are all about the service, unkept delivery dates, and things like that. I understand how they felt. So here's a little note about that: We also had some issues with the delivery date being missed as well due to one of the delivery drivers breaking his leg in a MC accident. When the hot tub got delivered it came out in conversation that not only was a part of their workforce out due to the pandemic, but they had six others involved in car accidents (not just the one guy) in the 10 day period prior. I appreciate that they didn't try to "tell me their problems" and just wanted to try to keep their commitments to us. Things happen in life and in business. I guess I was lucky and my order was happening at the end of their amazing run of bad luck and was only a couple days delayed. Anyway, the spa was going way up the hill on our property and when I saw the size of the spa I never thought it would happen. Literally. We agreed to have people there to help. Jim and Jacob were awesome. They didn't give us an extra charge because of the huge hill and were appreciative of the fact that we had people that could actually help as promised. When we got the tub in place there were a couple dings in the cabinet and the acrylic. They made everything look good and said they would be back to buff it out. They came the next week and it looks like new. Spa is great. We love the Bluetooth stereo and the funky LED lights and are in it every day/night. Things go wrong in life, it's how someone makes it right that is the bottom line for me. These guys made it right! Shout out to Nadine and everyone there for keeping it together through all of that and coming thru for us! Love our spa!

This company is awesome. I ordered a spa a couple months ago and the experience all the way through was excellent. The staff is polite, friendly, responsive and most of all patient. They are extremely knowledgeable and always available to help you. I would highly recommend this company.

Nadine was friendly and explained everything we needed to know very well. Prices were excellent, and delivery was on-time. The delivery crew did a great job making sure everything worked as expected after the install. Very happy with the sales, service, and the product overall.

United Spas was very helpful, and attempted multiple deliveries in a difficult location for us despite covid scheduling difficulties. Nadine Kelly was very helpful as a sales rep., and Jim the installer did an amazing job. An excellent hot tub for the price!

United Spas was fantastic from beginning to end. My wife and I went in to check out pricing and options like we had with several other places in town. Jay was extremely helpful with tons of information and their prices were by far the best in town. After going home to talk it over, we decided to move forward. We had more questions about options/functions and Tim was more than willing to help us out. Courtney helped with our financing and we were able to set up a delivery date. Then, the wait With so many people having been staying/working at home, spas are very popular right now. Matt and Connor setup our spa a couple days ago and did a fantastic job maneuvering through our side yard. I cannot believe how much I have enjoyed this spa. I have slept so well, being so relaxed before bed. I have also been waking up far less sore then in the past. I highly recommend United Spas.

I got a united spas from my neighbor and it was in excellent shape and only needed a little bit of cleaning. However the controller was a little worn out and some water got under the sticker and I needed a new one. I called United spas and Eleanor helped me out by asking me to send a few pictures of what I had. She got back to me with a reasonable price quote and was very helpful, they shipped the controller that day and it comes with a 2-year warranty! Can t wait to get hot tubing again!!!

I must say, after been very disappointed with the customer service of this company located at 5321 Pirrone Rd, they pulled off and come through. The owner called and took over my order, he changed his customer service personal, he really took charge and we are 100% satisfied with the results. We told him that we will do business with him again, he just need to maintain a great customer service. We are very happy with the way he handle our frustrations and very satisfied with our spa cover! he made amendments and correct the problem!

We purchased the Salinas model. Delivered 6/1/2018. Great 7x7 spa, great features, install/on-time. Nadine helped us with features. Wd got 12 LED lights, UV with bromine. Almost maintenance free vs our previous chlorine spa. No comparison how easy. With us or kids, used 4x day. Bromine tablets in floatee keep water clean. Simple touch pad is perfect. Easy lift cover. Beauty pebble sand color tub, chocolate outside. Best feature could be easy spin jets: spin left jet is off, spin right and jet is on. With plenty of jets, each seat can be tuned the way you want. Neck cushions are nice, soft, yet feel durable. The ECON mode, automatic operation, really saves power, water temp is quite stable, quickly (1-2minutes) is back up to set point. The 5hp, 2 speed pump is ideal. We re spa ppl, 3 brands in 25y, and are impressed with this design, United Spa brand, team service. So glad we purchased, We recommend.

Solid Company with great customer service. I purchase a tub 2 years ago for a very reasonable price. Rhonda and Eleanor have stayed in close contact to make sure I have all the maintenance products to avoid problems with the tub. Last year I had noticed a few bubbles in the gel coat of the tub which was under warranty . They sent out a service tech and acknowledged a rare factory defect that was not common with there spas. They exchanged my spa for a brand new one and had it delivered in a few days. The team that delivered the tub was just as professional and accommodating as the first spa they brought. Do not worry by the great value when purchasing a United Spa tubs. This company stands behind there product which is rare in today's market.

I bought a house with a united spa hot tub. That was not the reason I bought the house. Ok, that was the reason I bought the house. I did not know what to do so I called United spas and Stephanie answered all of my questions and guided me through some very difficult times and told me about vinegar. Without her support I don't think I could have made it. Then she sold me a bunch of stuff. I don't know what it was but its in the mail and I can't wait to get it. When you call, you can ask for Stephanie and tell her Mike sent you. It won't help any, but Stephanie can certainly help you. She's a rock star and the other girl that answers is really nice, too.
