Excellent day at the Tower. As a wheelchair user I felt that I was able to access all the areas detailed on website very well. You could not have been more attentive to my needs. Thankyou

It was great! Wow such a big castle, so much history. Our tour guide, (not sure his name, Daniel I think) he was awesome at telling stories, really enjoyed him. So much to see and experience. I highly recommend it.

Cool

Anyone who loves history will find this fantastic, plus pretty interesting for everyone else. We visited soon after re-opening after lockdown and one way system, sanitizer etc was well organized. It was also relatively quiet, with staff having time to talk & explain exhibits, which was much appreciated.

This is a no-brainer. Tower of London is an iconic and wicked cool place to visit. We were lucky because we were there in the winter time when it s not crowded. Suspect that as cool as the Tower is, it could be sheer hell with crowds in the summer peak travel season.

Great place to learn about England's history and monarchy. We visited first thing in the morning to avoid long lines and big crowds. You should not miss the Crown Jewels. Amazing! Also check their site in advance for performances with live actors through the grounds, they are fun and interactive. When we were there they played a story of Anne Boleyn, 2nd wife of Henry VIII, who was tried for treason at the tower and beheaded there in 1536. Quite interesting and intriguing story. Also, there is some cool myths about the ravens.

Please visit this is really a must see if you are a history buff! Fighting through the clouds of people is just part of the overall experience, there is close to one thousand years of history, all sorts to look at including the Crown Jewels which are dazzling. The whole place is dripping with history. A must see if you are sightseeing in London but you may want to put at least a few hours aside

The tour guides were funny as. Loved it there, loads of history. Very grand and definitely loads to do and see, even had lunch there which wasn t too bad. Maybe slightly expensive but it is a tourist attraction after all. Definitely worth going on the free tour.

See the crown jewels! This is an interesting piece of British history. Very cool displays of armoury, the jewels, royal life, etc. Definitely group yourself in for a chat with one of the guards-- very entertaining and your only way to see the church on the premise and learn about the executions. Give yourself a good amount of time here; 2-3 hours.

What an incredible structure with so much history behind it. Must visit when in London. If you want to get into the church you must be with a tour guide. If not you can tour every else on your own.

A must visit attraction, historic beyond belief! Quite frankly if it was up to me I fill the place up again with certain politicians , Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson etc. etc.
The chopping block would be back in use for all traitors or liars to the Queen. So Boris you wont need no more haircuts mate!

The must go in London.
Every room, every tower has its own story.
It may cause more than 3 hours to walk through every building.

So beautiful and full of history. The wardens are so friendly and they do tours.
It is much more sensible to get the historic royal palaces membership, it saves you a lot of money on the ticket and allows you free entry without queing into other palaces.

Oen of the MUST dos in London at least once, this place was a joy to explore. We took about 4 hours to feel like we explored enough of the grounds about 85%. We really enjoyed the crown jewels. Truly breathtaking. Tip, arrive before opening to get in line. If you have an e ticket purchased through trip advisor or Get your Guide for example, you'll still need to line up in a separate line to obtain a physical ticket. They don't inform you until you're at the gate so beware. We waited in 3 separate lines before we finally got in to the right one with the right form of ticket. More signage could really avoid this. No photos of the crown jewels allowed but you can stay as long as you like. Again another pro tip, go straight to the crown jewels upon entering as a separate line will form quickly for that building alone.

This is one of the symbols of London. A visit is a must at least once in a lifetime. Entry is not cheap, though. I also strongly recommend getting there early, especially at week ends: queues are massive, particularly with the new checks. Note that you can get a queue both outside and inside to the many attractions as well, especially to see the jewels.

Very interesting and definitely worth to go there and even wait to see the crown jewels. Compared to other attractions in London the entrance fee is very ok. But take a whole day to see everything and take the audio guide to learn a lot about all the different areas in the Tower. I also advice to follow the beef eaters tour and listen to their interesting stories.

This place drips with history! The grounds are expansive and the building are well furnished with artifacts and furniture. The tours are informative and the live reenactments are lively and humorous, if you're lucky to catch one. I'm not sure if I'm correct but I believe they release crows on the grounds and they sit and stay for pictures; it's really incredible. Despite the price of admission (if you book online it's 5 or 6 pounds cheaper!) the Tower is definitely worth it.

1000 years of history. Get to the crown jewels early to avoid the long queues. Guided tour by the Yeoman Warder was wonderful. A great full day out with children. We still didn't see it all. Another visit beckons

Stunning place to visit, one of the jewels of London. So many people visit from outside and never go inside. It has so much more than just the crown jewels. The white tower armoury is stunning and I particularly love the miniature and giant armour. Despite being in the centre of the City and being crowded at times, it's usually possible to find a quiet place to sit down for lunch, which I often do. The buildings are in great condition and many over 1000 years old. So steeped in history, my Canadian cousin was astonished as they barely have anything older than 50 years!

Worth visiting, though early in the day. Buy the tickets online! Forget about the tourist center at Piccadilly where price is higher and they give misleading guideance.
Not sure why at the Tower they let us in when after 20-25min made us leave all the buildings. Usually they stop letting people in and the ones inside can finish the visit.

There are places where history feels so alive as Tower Bridge and the Thames. Immortalized in verse, prose and the arguably drier words of historians this is a place that creates a sense of continuity between its historic architecture and the remarkably futuristic skyline springing up along the Thames.

If you're in London, go and see it!

Once you jave a ticket you can join a guided tour for free. You can access all main yards by ramps however to fully view all areas you have to use stairs.

Once you join the tour you'll come to know that this is a place where many executions happened over the years, also it is the place where crown jewels are kept.

Be ready to be impressed with the Crown Jewels, no photos are allowed inside.

You can spend a day here easily. The Beefeater guide was a blast, with history and humour mixed in to give a rewarding and informative show. Learn how to gasp, appreciate and reflect on the Tower's past history in all of it's bloodsoaked glory.

You need to get here early in the day if you want to see the Crown Jewel's. If you buy your tickets in advance through a concierge at your hotel you will skip the big line for tickets and go right to the group sales section which had a very small line each time we were in the area. I recommend the Yeomen Warders Tour which runs about 45 min. Another must see while in London.

So impressed with The Tower. Great tours and talks - long enough to be informative, not too long to get boring. Take lots of time to explore. We only had 3 hours so we didn't get to see everything. The standard of food at the New Armouries Cafe is the best I've ever had in an attraction anywhere. Plus Ravens! You should go!

This is a fantastic day out. The Beefeater tour is a must and free! It is a beautiful Palace with so much history. But not for people who can't do stairs or have trouble walking. 10 out of 10!

A place with more British history you could not find. It is chock full of fabulous and terrifying history. You can see the crown jewels and this half term the kids can join in with the fabulous live interpretation on the south lawn. So much to see and do it's actually far better to become a member so you can come again and then see all the other HRP palaces as well

I did not go inside this time, but my first visit to London I did. I remember how mesmerized I was by the jewels, carriages, and history this building contains. This time I meandered around it. I was impressed with its size and beauty still after all these years. It is fun trying to imagine the moat being full of water all around it and what it was like back then. Next time I will need to go in to really appreciate it.
