It was a fun and interesting place full of history. There were a good amount of tourists but the place was pretty big and we only stood in line once. We didn't see the crown jewels because we felt like the line was too long for it to be worth it but it was still a good experience.

Steeped in history and very interesting for most ages. Well worth visit, good mobility needed because some of the tower have lots of steps. The tours are not to be missed by the resident beefeaters and that wonderful photo opportunity!

A must visit in Londen. Magnificent architecture and a modern vieuw on the history. Crown Jewels are amazing. It's quit big though so you should schedule enough time to see everything. It's also a good idea to buy tickets in advance if possible so you can avoid part of the waiting line. Part of the monument is outside so Remember some rain proof accessoires.

This is a must see if you're traveling in London. The crowds can be intense at busy times, but the views and picture opportunities are worth the walk. Close to many shops, pubs, and other attractions, the bridge is great for couples taking a romantic stroll and a fun adventure for families. There is a sense of wonder and history everytime I visit the tower.

Excellent place to spend a few hours. We really enjoyed walking along the wall and seeing the various towers. We aren't big fans of reading a lot in museums and I felt this place gave a good mixture of text and pictures. The ravens were lovely and tame and sat for a lot of photos!

An all-day trip, the tours were entertaining and interesting. Lots to do and see. The only down side was the sad food in the cafe. As a vegetarian the only warm dish was mushroom strogenoff, probably had 1 mushroom in a dubious sauce on a load of rice, disgusting. Harping back to the worst of English food, unlike the amazing food we havenow

A brilliant day out. Don't be put off by the apparent high entry fee because it is worth every penny. Fascinating, interesting and informative. The staff were helpful and there is so much to see. Had lunch in the cafe which was good and reasonably priced.

What a place! I love history and this place was giving it to me in a very nice way. Everywhere there was information about what happened here and the mysteries that can never be solved. Lots of history to learn and a lot of historic items to look at. Security was friendly; when we brought drinks inside where one weren't allowed (we missed the sign), they kindly explained and asked us to drink up outside. Not in any way threatening, much appreciated.

My family and I went to the tower to see the candles and pay our respects to those who fought in WW1 on the Friday before Remembrance Sundays centenary weekend. It was surreal and eye opening to see so many people doing the same.

Amazing just spent the evening in the tower, watched the key ceremony. The Yeoman was very interesting and funny. I would come back again. The group I was with were fantastic. One of the best evenings

Love love love the Tower of London, the Yeoman are fantastic and the history amazing. Though the chapel may be the saddest church on Earth with the amount of people executed and buried there.

Bathrooms inside near the crown jewels area. Cashiers will go so fast they don't pay attention to the bills you're giving them at the cafe. Tour is absolutely worth it and free with purchase of a ticket. Buy tickets ahead of time. Overall though very informative and fun.

An awe-inspiring journey back to the past through the lanes & dungeons of history. The crowning glory of this priceless experience is the witnessing of the "Crown Jewels". As you walk across the precincts of the Tower, you feel thrilled that to walk along the same places down which heroes & warriors had walked centuries ago. The cafe inside the campus provides a variety of delicacies, ranging from salads to fish & chips to desserts. Overall, a memorable experience.

You can't come to London and not see this! Again, this place is steeped in history and is linked to many royals.....including the controversial Tudors. Well worth a visit.....my particular favourite past time here is watching the naughty ravens

Visited from Canada with my Wife and youngest daughter. It was one of the best historical experiences we have had. The historical site, tour leader (beefeater), and caretakers of the site were awesome. Learned so much in the so little time we were there. Could have learned a lot more with more time and the experience brought to life some of the school materials my youngest was learning at school. A high recommendation for families with school aged kids. Note - we were here during late March and the weather was slightly chilly, but sunny. Crowds were reasonable early in the morning, but became heavier with school tours and tourists buses later in the morning.

This is my favorite touristy thing to do in London! Great for families with kids. A chance to explore the grounds, learn some historical facts about the british history.
Top floor in the white tower is loads of fun for kids.

Tour was great, was crowded which should be expected at almost all times except in the morning when it opens. We didn't see the crown jewel because it was a 3 hour wait. If you are interested in seeing that, go when it opens.

One of the most interesting historical attractions in London. Tons to do and see, but get in early if you want to see the Crown Jewels. It includes the biggest diamond in the world. But the line ups to see the jewels gets to be pretty long later in the day. Make sure to take your time and check out all the towers.

Probably the best value for money London attraction. So so much to see and do, you could spend the whole day there easily. Every tower has a different theme and there are so many stories and so much history here, it's amazing. Some of my favourites were to armory, the tales of the imprisoned, the crown jewels and the graffiti left in the walls for many centuries. Definitely one not to miss!

It could be possible to spend a week in the Tower complex as there is so much to see & question. Just reading the instruction panels & checking the details requires many hours. If you have questions the guides & attendants are very knowledgeable especially regarding difficult & unusual questions such as *how much are the crown jewels insured for?* The answer was that they are not insured!!! Stories about the ravens & the armour were fascinating. So much more to see and find out about.

Absolute must see for anyone visiting this great city. The history of this place is alive in every stone. Take the tour and see inside, easily need 2 hours (at least) to get around to all the parts you can go in.
