Always worth a visit! Great pieces and the Beefeat...
Always worth a visit! Great pieces and the Beefeaters and actors walking round the premises definitely make it worth your time.

Always worth a visit! Great pieces and the Beefeaters and actors walking round the premises definitely make it worth your time.
Amazing place. I like the fact that it's a square and you can just stroll around it at your leisure and pick and choose which parts to go into. The crown jewels are something to behold and as a history lover i was in heaven . There was a few actors walking around as well, which added to the atmosphere.
I have been before and had a personal tour of the tower but this time I really saw what the tour had to offer
First time visiting tower of london lots of history very big
Wow not been here since I was a kid and that was a school trip this is just awesome all the history the beefeaters it's a must
Loads to look at, really informative. Definitely recommend for a bit of English history. Displays and interactive aspects for kids too
Find out the deep English history in the heart of Square Mile
Expensive if you re buying a ticket, fortunately I had a free ticket for me and my partner through the company I work for. I enjoyed visiting but might have felt it wasn t worth the price if I had paid
A great historical place . Awesome experience I had in watching the crown jewels and knowing the history behind it.
Excellent place to spend the day! It's full of history and activities for the whole family! You can buy your tickets online or in place, adjust consider that you will have to do a line.
Very cool. The history is amazing. Be sure to end around sunset to get a picture with the bridge.
Nice to see - but a bit expensive for what there is to do / see compared to other palaces etc.
Interesting history, huge castle with many different roles through hundreds of years. And the Crown Jewels! A must see if you go to England.
I had a brilliant time here. It is just the most amazing place. I was here for about four hours and saw so much. It's well laid out being a one way system round the towers, the Beefeater tour was great too, John was very informative and funny and you should definitely take the tour. Great value ticket, I booked online before I went. All in all one of the best places to visit in London.
If you get a chance to do the night guided tour do it learned a lot and the guide were great
Absolute must see when touring London! So much to see. Plan on spending a few hours, and leave the stroller at home. Food court is excellent and plenty of clean bathrooms.
Interesting, but expensive, overcrowded and very dumbed down for mass audience. Clearly aimed at non-U.K. tourists.
Bit too gimmicky for me, lots of fill, very little on show worth getting too excited about. Crown jewels was a huge traipsing qua and not megga exciting when you get there as all too removed. History on walls act was interesting but hard to read as contrast poor and lighting low along with droves of people blocking view. Tour was entertaining, full of many facts, which was probably the highlight. Won't be going again!
Historic Building. Good tourist venue when visiting London.
Fantastic tour and amazing history throughout plus the Crown Jewels are spectacular.
The introduction about the history given by the beefeater was enjoyable and informative well presented a really good day out
What an amazing place. So much history with appropriate covid 19 measures in place. The beefeaters were amazing despite no guided tours being allowed ( due to covid 19). A truly great day out that the whole family enjoyed
Absolutely excellent. Came with grandchildren who loved the kids audio guide. We didn't allocate enough time to do a tour with the Beefeaters but they sounded fun. We spent 4 hours there and only just scratched the surface. The highlight was the crown jewels which were absolutely dazzling.
Great day out. Spent over 3 hours here and could have spent longer. kids will love it
We took a tour, London in Ome Day. This was probably my favorite visit on the entire tour! The history of this place is amazing and seeing the Crown Jewels in person is an absolute must. It's amazing knowing you are walking in the same place that so many historical figures have previously walked in the past.
Great history. Inspiiring guide and impressively preserved. The ques to see the crown jewelry was really Long, Even on a monday noon.
Another GR8 day out. Need 2.5 to 3 hrs to soak it all in. Crown Jewels are a must visit place.
Definitly recommand! If you can, wait for a guided tour, you will learn a lot! And well, you can also see the biggest diamond in the world!
Second visit here and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of those must see places in London. Great history and just a cool place to wander through.
Great attraction to visit. Can get very busy so go early
Magical place, unbelievably full of history. Our Yeoman Warder guide was very knowledgeable and highly entertaining. We were in a group who were at the Tower after hours and were invited to the Warder's pub (excellent establishment) and were allowed to view the Ceremony of the Keys. An evening I will never forget.
Brilliant history, spent around 4-5hours here, full of energy and grand atmosphere, truly an amazing place to visit, would highly recommend it, and can't wait to go back one day.
The tower of London is a multifaceted tower that acted as a fortress, castle, home to crown jewels and thus has multiple places to visit. To visit all the towers you need atleast 6 hours (depending on the queue). It has a Ravens hotel where the official Ravens are kept. The main attraction for foreigners is the tower where there are crown jewels, dresses and royal cavalry. The crowns with Kohinoor and the African diamond are a must watch!
Of course this is something you need to visit, but had the most entertaining tours I've ever had by the raven master guard, full of jokes and anecdotes, but also fun history and facts! Bought his book he wrote about being the raven master of the tower of London later because he just made it so great, made my day.
Wonderful and very well preserved totally unique. Well worth a visit
Very interesting, plenty too see, expect a que it's London, well worth seeing the crown jewels, a little on the expensive side, the tower cafe food was nice, but expensive
A fascinating historical place. The history of royal family, royal prison, khohinur all together you can see here.
Their own literature sums it up perfectly. Palace, prison and fortress, maybe not in that order. Centuries of real history and tradition, murder, menagerie, armoury, jewellery the list goes on. Make sure to take in a Yoeman Warder tour to get a humourously (British military humour!) presented run through of some of the "highlights" of the centuries gone by. A cracking day out for young and old
I love it! one of my favorite places to go to in London!
Great day out for the whole family. Good place for someone casually intrested in history to someone looking for a bit mire detail and any one inbetween. Plus were else can you see the crown jewels?
Very cool place to check out to learn about history. Lots of cool things to check out like the armory and the crown jewels. Definitely take the Beef eaters tour as they are very informative and entertaining. Dedicate at least 3 hours here to really enjoy the experience.
A must to visit if you're into castles and knight stuff. Truly a great collection to wow you visually and you can spend hours just looking thru all the display.
One in life time experience 32 pods and you see 32 borough of London . you on the river close by house parliament London bridge HMS belfast
Very nice, wait for the guided tour if you want to learn some interesting history before wandering around.
This was a highlight of the trip...go early to beat the crowds. Plenty to do in the area. Get the heads sets to fully enjoy the history.
One of the London's must see bridge. Great place to take a ton of pictures and selfies as well as to enjoy the view on bridge and river Thames. You can walk on the top of bridge with see through floor for maybe 5 pounds. Other historical and famous attraction nearby as well. Definite must.
Nice experience to visit where the Kohinoor diamond was at public display.
Great for getting an idea of that before us. I would very much recommend it as a tourist destination or weekend adventure.
Prison, palace, treasure vault, observatory, and menagerie - the Tower of London has done it all. Widely considered the most important building in England, there's enough to see and do at this World Heritage Site to keep visitors busy for More
Could have spent all day here. Seeing the ravens and the crown jewels close up was a fantastic experience. Really great day out and so close to central London.
Can't beat some history in a fantastic setting - easy to get to and good value if you take the Yeoman tour and have time to see all parts which will take you about 4 hours...
It's like a historical amusement park. You need a half day to see it all. The ticket includes a very entertaining tour and history of the castle
A visit to the tower bridge at dusk and early evening is perhaps better than daytime. The colours are beautiful and quay area is a nice place to stroll about.
Excellent. Go early in the morning and see the crown jewels first.
Really worth a visit as so much history and a fantastic place to wonder around. Lots to see and learn whilst there. Loved seeing the ravens wonder about. Suitable for families but there is a lot of walking and obviously not all the areas are easy to access with pushchairs.
Great talks by the beefeaters and great history all over the place plus actual royal jewels!! Great view of the Tower (London) bridge right outside the Tower of London!!
If you've come this far to check reviews, then go! More expansive and history than you realise.
Pay for a ticket! It is interesting and historic if you're into that . Get a free tour from a Yeoman Warder/ Beefeater. They give you a great and FREE tour with some humor
Historic London building. As you can imagine very busy
Was a great time lots to explore enjoyed it very much
Awesome Yeomen guides, who were hilarious and very informative. The history and current use of the tower was fascinating. The crown jewels were spectacular. We got there before the lines and so enjoyed it thoroughly.
Lots to do for a few hours. Warder tours entertaining. Expensive but it is London. Have to look hard for real history but that's not who it is aimed at. Great that you can get a pass to go out for lunch and then come back in. Long queue for tickets even on a quiet day!
Get tickets for the Ceremony of the keys. Its happened every night for 750 years. You need to plan ahead and book 18 months out!
I didn't go in, just being around the outside is still good.
Tower of London is a beautiful place it is in the heart of town and good selfie in photo place it is one of the Best tourist of London. tourist must visit this place it looks awesome London Bridge is also beautiful hair looks awesome it is behind the Thames river which is the largest river of London
Great experience. Worth being part of yeoman guided tour. Queue to see the Crown jewels will be quite long.
This is a wonderful place to visit when you come to London! The queens crown is worth it alone!
I expected a tad more from it. Loved the crown jewels though!
Beautiful we had a personal tour guide so we skipped the lines
Place worth seeing and experiencing. You can see all of London while on ride. Well maintained and friendly guides and security. Super.
Really great lots of history mixed with good attractions!
Saw one of the largest cut Diamond in the world- Kohinoor from India. Also, tickets are cheaper online.
Unsafe place to hold money! Guys...please be careful with your valuables here as you cannot trust the security folks at the entrance of the Tower of London. This person took our cash , we lost 200 pounds !!! it was placed in a safe and secure location pocket in our back pack and the security guy put his hands inside our bag into all the compartments and flicked our cash just like that! when we went back , he wasn't there at the entrance and we lost 200 pounds!! who would think this place was so unsafe for tourists especially by the security folks at the entrance!! what a sad day for us :(
Disappointed at the ridiculous queue to see the crown jewels.as I only had a couple of hours I never had time to wait. ot might be helpful to install a Disney type "time wait undicator"...although the overall experience was great .Give yourself a minimum 2or 3 hours for your visit
Wonderful knowing history to witness such historical building
Just walked around the free parts and it was amazing
If you pay for the entrance, you get a fantastic view over the river and the city and interesting fact about the bridge and the engine room.
Wow, this place is cool. Spent 6 hours here with my children going from exhibit to exhibit. Get in line before opening and go see the crown jewels first thing in order to get close up and beat the lines that form. Afterwards you can join a yeoman warder guided tour to get some background on the area before exploring the other parts. The white tower has lots of steps so some may not be able to go through. But the are many other areas that are easily accessible. Plus the are great views of the Tower Bridge from the grounds.
A beautiful place that you can see the crown juwles.
This is the place where the England Royal crowns are kept, plus many other precious valuables are store for public viewing. There are other historical items kept inside the tower. You will see Beefeaters giving tours.
So much history! The Beefeaters are so friendly and knowledgeable! You don't want to miss this while you are in London!
Took the tour with the Yeoman Warder at 3:30pm on a Sunday, and then explored myself. Loved it, especially getting to see the Crown Jewels and all the statues and arms inside the White Tower. Lots of history, some very sad, and I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in London. Was free for me as I'm a Bloomberg employee, but otherwise, it's 30 pounds.
Visited on a day when there were no queues and managed to get half price entry with a voucher picked up at rail station. Well worth the visit, lots to see, jewels and armoury, plus some great animal life size wire sculptures.
Amazing place, however, not enough learning aid offered with the entrance price, you have to pay more for it. I feel I could have learned a lot more of the place's history if they offer more.
You can see the real crown in the castle, really stunning. And we bought the passport holder in the shop, it's a good buy .
Fun place to explore. Need at least 2 hours. Take the tour it's very entertaining!! And it's free! They even have activities for kids to participate in. Being a soldier or a madine.
