I mean... it s the Tower of London. What can I say other than it s everything you expect and more. The Beefeaters (guards and guides) are awesomely funny and entertaining as well as knowledgeable.

The Tower of London is magnificent! If you love history it is worth the money when in London.

Seeing the Crown Jewels and learning about the history of this amazing structure was on my bucket list and I am so happy I got to check it off.

I would recommend giving yourself about 3 hours to get through it if you want to have plenty of time.

Take the train to the Tower Hill stop and you ll be right there! While you re there, you ll be able to see the incredible London Bridge as well.

Enjoy this beauty!

Great place with loads of history. We loved our day trip there. Lots to do but get there early to avoid the queues for the crown jewels. The beefeatwr are great and offer free tours and local descriptions or facts about certain areas fornthe tower. Great for all the family.

You gotta visit the Tower of London! Buy tickets online to save some costs and check out the Crown Jewels! Line is long so have someone stand in line and check out something and swap off of the line is really long.

Great day out. Loved the interaction from the ghosts who came back to inform us about life as prisoners at the Tower. They looked very alive but must have been ghosts as they were so well informed of the past. Took a photo as evidence...

The tour was very informative and added a lot of colour to the visit. The gift shops were nice, and the crown jewels are a sight to see. I recommend allowing an afternoon to do it all properly.

Amazing museum with some items dating almost 1000 years back. Many unique exhibitions. Recommend Yeomens tours (free) as our guide was a joke cracker, and Rebeca from Queen's jewels exhibition was very knowledgeable about history. A lot to see and even try. You can save money if find 2 for 1 ticket promotion :)

Combination of many towers. Huge place, takes a lot of time to completely visit all of the attractions. Planning ahead is a great idea. There are small refreshments stalls and a huge restaurant too.

Fantastic day out. So much to see and do. Lots of interactive things for kids and adults alike to do. Many of the exhibits have been refurbished. The new restaurant/Cafe is brilliant and should cater for most tastes.

Definitely worth visit,

To see everything be sure to have at least half a day time, audio guides recommend.

To Royal jewellery was really long queue, but it was moving fast so definitely worth the wait

Very cool. Worth a stop! Great amount of history there. Everything in the tower is neat to explore and read about. Try to go when it s not too busy, so you can see the Crown Jewels without a huge queue.

One of my favorite sites in London, the Tower continues to charm with its clean presentation, fascinating history and friendly, gregarious and picture-perfect yeoman warders. Take any of the tours at your own pace, stroll the grounds, and be amazed at how perfectly preserved and polished this gem in the English crown is.

The visitor experience has improved so much since my last visit about 8 years ago. Yeoman guided tours are very informative and saves walking around with your nose in a guide book. The rest of the Tower is well signed and easy to get around.

A great visit. Later in the day tickets move to half price so depending on your schedule and how long you plan to visit this might be helpful. Amazing/iconic views of the Tower Bridge as well.

Wonderful place to see, don't miss it. We loved going the castle walls walk through the various buildings. The each building had a write-up of its colorful history. You certainly feel like you're in a medieval castle.
It is worth every penny of its entrance fee. There are so many things to see and know about England's history.

I loved this place! I had a great experience with my family here and it's well worth the money! Even better if you buy the guide book.

It's very open and huge, with some food places inside.

Walking through the main buildings and along the wall was great.

The tour guides are fantastic, so knowledgeable and entertaining. As a historian I found them really historically interesting and I would say this continues to be one of the best tours and attractions in London

Great historical tour. We arrived for the first guided tour for the day. Our guide was great, lots of personality and hilarious. See the crown jewels early so the queue is short. Beautiful grounds, see the ravens and wander through the exhibits.

Great place to visit. Historical and the tour gives a real insight to the place. Only spent a couple of hours here as had other things booked. Would need to spend at least half a day to take it all in.

Although the Tower is around 1000 years old, I appreciated the efforts made to make as much of it as accessible to me as possible. I was particularly impressed with the comprehensive access guide, detailing accessibility of the various areas around the grounds.

As it was school holidays, there were lots of family-friendly activities. These are an entertaining way for both children and adults to learn about the history of the Tower. I particularly enjoyed the actors dressed up as famous people associated with the Tower, who spoke to members of the public in-character.

On this occasion, we were only able to spend about 3 hours at the Tower, but I would love to visit again one day, possibly spending a whole day.

Second only to Windsor castle. Small and manageable. See the crown jewels! Gorgeous. Good views across the river and London Bridge. Hope in one of the tours if you miss the available tours. Loads of information was supplied by the Beefeaters. Fun place for kids too.

Astounding. Took the tour with the Yeoman (Lawrence was fantastic!) and also purchased the audio tour, which I found well worth the additional cost. It details some of the prisoner s stories and their inscriptions on the walls, which is simply unbelievable to still be surviving. We spent well over 4 hours (2 adults without kids in tow) exploring the grounds, etc.

Very enlightening tour guide, Dave the Beefeater. There are audio guide if you prefer. Did you know there are 20 towers at the Tower of London. I thought there were more Crown jewels at the Tower from visiting as a child. Spent a few hours learning and reminiscing with a friend. Lunch was delicious and did not expect the good standard if food.

If you are like me you'll need at least three hours to see this. Great place, very well preserved but it was a bit of a maze and there was such a big queue to see the crown jewels. But definitely I would recommend this place to anyone.

Insane history and well, well worth the trip. Take your time, especially in the prison tower. Imagine what it would be like living for years up there. The engravings are so cool. The big middle building has a great war museum. I had to rush through it, but if I were to do it again, I would take more time. And then there are the crown jewels.

If you are on the fence, do this one.

An amazing opportunity to explore this amazing landmark and to speak to the Yeoman Warders as much as you like. While COVID-19 is still affecting tourism greatly, crowd numbers are down dramatically at the Tower which is terrible for them but does make it an amazing experience if you do go now. No queues, as much time as you want to speak to the amazing Warders and lots of time and space to appreciate the Crown Jewels and the displays in the White Tower itself!

I visited Tower of London on 21 Dec not knowing much about it beforehand, other than it s where the Crown Jewels are situated. And it ended up being one of the more valuable sights I saw in London! Highly recommend the audio guide especially for solo travellers, which is very modern, intuitive, and has multiple tours and bonus content that you can access. The guide covers off everything from the jewels through to the White Tower, imprisonment in the tower, the armoury, Anne Boleyn, notable prisoners, the ravens, life in the Tower (then and now) and more. There was so much more to the site than I could have anticipated.

Excellent day out. The tours run periodically through the day for no extra charge. They last around 1 hour and are well worth attending. Allow extra time to go into the various exhibits, including the crown jewels and a large collection of weapons and armour that form part of the Royal Armouries.

The oldest part the White Tower, dates back to 1078 and many visitors come to see the Yeoman Warders or Beefeaters, armour and armaments, the collection of the Royal Jewels on this 12 acre site in London and Ravens. Of course there's much more to see and learn about the Tower of London which recently hosted a commemorative 100th anniversary World War I art exhibit that grew along the base of the tower walls into the moat to spectacular and meaningful effect in 2014. Tour the tower where noted historical figures were imprisoned and some waited their execution. Expect long lines but plan ahead and you won't be disappointed. Tower Hill tube station. Within viewing distance of Tower Bridge.
