Absolutely fantastic attraction. If you are visiting London from abroad or even if you're local it is worth visiting. You can spend all day there just looking around. The armoury was fantastic, but the jewel in the crown was the crown Jewels. Definitely worth a visit.

I believe the price of admission is pretty high considering I m just walking around ruins and some historical facts provided. I loved the experience, could have been more entertaining or just cheaper.

This was completely worth the price of admission! So much interesting history in the fridge! I love the glass part of the top walk of the bridge! It really freaks you out! Definitely a must see while in London!

You get to learn about so much History! The Yeoman tours are worth it as they are informative and entertaining. Wear comfortable shoes as there are lots of stairs to climb. If you're into the Macbre you can view areas where prisoners were kept and have carved out messages. Lots of items used for fighting as well (suits of armor, medals, spears, canons). The crown jewels are spectacular.

awesome place to visit, especially for history aficionado like me. the yeoman warder who led the tour was funny and good at his job. my only objection was the involuntary "voluntary donation" to repair some cages at the premise. isnt that what the ticket fee is for -- for upkeep and running of the place?? and those entrance tickets were not cheap. the cashier mumbled that we agreed to donate, she wasnt asking for our agreement to donate. that made it involuntary.

our school never mentioned its importance
so not enjoyed as much
rather would have enjoyed watching London stock Exchange.
Main attraction was Kohinoor.
We had debate whether its original one or not.
Cuts and size matter the most why would any Indian would pay and go there and waste 2 and half hrs.
We have better forts, sea forts they are much beautiful at sight.
Keeping a structure in Heart of City or built city round it quiet strange to watch out for.
In India Pune city should have built near Shivneri fort.
Or Maharashtras capital should have been Raigad next to which should have been BSE.

We decided we really shouldn't miss the spectacle of 10,000 torches lighting up the night around the Tower of London to commemorate the end of the First World War and pay tribute to all those who lost their lives. It was a moving sight, and well worth the visit. Entitled "Beyond the Deepening Shadow" this was a fitting way to mark 100 years since the end of that terrible war, truly an Armistice Day we should not forget. It was a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, and although packed with visitors the atmosphere was largely quite respectful - appropriately so, I thought.

Closes strangely early for a central tourist attraction, and there was no real order or control for the tours. We ended up strolling ourselves through the Tower. It was an amazing place to visit, unfortunately it was so hectic.

What a great place to finally visit. We started with a Yeoman Warder giving a superb and very knowledgeable tour with it being clear they love their job and the honour of working at the tower. Everywhere you look you see history be it the structures, displays, or the crown jewels. In the cafe even the waiting staff have a passionate knowledge of the history of the building. Loved it all.

A great experience and dive into the history of the place. The Crown Jewels exhibit is great, but it s the character-actors walking around giving performances makes the place a little extra magical.

Great time, the Yeoman tour really made it for us. If you visit here I can ensure you that taking this tour will make all the difference. Our Yeoman delivered all the fact in an engaging and hilarious manner.

Watched the Tower of London documentary series on TV. Decided to have a boxing day trip to London and stay over. Fantastic yeoman of the guard guided us for 45 minutes. Dave the beefeater was superb and knowledgeable about everything and so funny. Only downsize were the crowds of people but what was I thinking it would be like the day after boxing day!! Still didn't miss much but got too cold to stand in the queue for jewels. Perhaps next time

Made the mistake of going during half term and therefore hit big queues to see the crown jewels. Tbh a little disappointed with the display. Yeoman were excellent and well worth listening to. Cafe was overpriced but the shop was surprisingly quite reasonably priced. History of the place is fantastic.

Fantastic evening, attended the Ceremony of the Keys. Our host was brilliant, commanding the attention of all present, very knowledgeable highlighting various different parts of the Tower and important historic events that happened at that particular location. A privilege to visit. Proud to be British and of our fantastic Military, history and Royal family. God save the Queen!

I give it 4 stars because it's a very long and grueling tour to go up and down all the stairs so if you are not in the best shape then probably you want to skip it. However, I think it's a five star attraction for those that can truly explore the entire place. My favorite part was seeing all the jewels and the crowns and the swords.

Definitely one of the best tourist attractions for lovers of historical buildings but also fans of gruesome history, as you can learn about the many executions that took place there, as well as seeing instruments of torture! The Beefeaters or Yeoman Warders are very knowledgeable, as you would expect, yet also friendly. You can also see the Crown Jewels and of course the ravens!

Very nice and interesting place! Book your ticket in advance online. If you plan to visit more palaces then a subscription/supporter/combined ticket is cheaper. The royal crowns and jewels is the most interesting collection of the tower. Some theatrical acts are also taking place, which revive the atmosphere of the middle ages. The 7 crows are also around as the legend foresees. Various tourist shops inside with nice souvenirs. Of you have time group guides are also arranged by the tower guards, telling you the tower story with unique way!

Please dont be put off by what seems like a huge ticket price! The amount you get to see and do more than pays for itself. I don't think there's many places where thirty quid can get you a whole days worth of edutainment. The place is alive with history from so many era's, with excellent displays and interactive exhibits.

It's also hilarious and worth the money alone to watch Schoolkids being chased by Ravens for their packed lunches.

This is a cool spot to see if you re coming to London as a tourist.

It s on the water which is nice and you can walk around the outside for free.

There s also a lot of open space where you can sit and people watch.

Had a brilliant visit, guided by Yeoman Warden Moira. There's easily enough to do here for a family to spend a full day; torture, ravens, the Crown Jewels, the Mint and more armour than you can shake a stick at.

Who would of thought that you could get such a great atmosphere from a bridge but you did. I will advise that if it's cold and windy as it was when I went, make sure you rap up well as you are particularly susceptible to the elements there.

If you re looking for a in-depth London experience, don t waste your time and money here. The site has rich history but they ve turned it into a freak show of weird reenactments and unconvincing props. It s very cramped during holidays and weekends.

Great day out. The Yeomans do a very interesting tour which is both informative and humorous. The walk around the battle wall is very good but not if you have mobility problems as there's is lots of winding steps up and down the towers. The white tower in the centre of the grounds has lots and lots of stairs both straight and winding, but when we were coming out found a lift around the back for disabled. At peak time the queue for the Crown Jewels is very long but worth standing in to see the Jewels. I think in all you need about 4 hours at least to see everything.

I was absolutely stunned by the Tower of London. I had no idea what to expect before going, but I was totally blown away. The views are breathtaking! I could walk around for hours just for the views along the Thames. I loved how there were many explanations for everything; I felt like I learned so much. The crown jewels were beautiful of course, but my sister and I had to wait about 45 minutes before we could enter (we went the first week of August). Overall, the Tower of London is now one of my favorite places in London and I cannot wait to take my children here one day!

Brilliant day out even with a five year old and three year old. We skipped some of the less age appropriate sections but still managed to spend a good 4 hours looking around.

The crown jewels were particularly interesting for the kids but go early as it got busy around lunch time.

Tickets are pricey but they're good value for what you get.

I went early on a Sunday to avoid the crowds. A short walk from the tube through the bank district on a quiet day. The Tower was fascinating. The Crown Jewels fabulous and jaw dropping. A must visit!

This is absolutely a full day tour, there are so many little museums inside to learn the history of this landmark. There are also lines, be prepared to wait for over an hour to see the Crown Jewels. Be sure to get your Yoeman tour starting every half hour.

I've avoided coming here for years, but decided to bring the kids today. A bit pricey, especially if you agree to the suggested donation portion of the ticket. If you get a London Pass though, it's free. Expect to queue up for most attractions, especially the jewels, but they move fast. It should only take about 30 minutes to make it through the jewel queue.

Awesome site full of interesting and unique history. Great views of London, and plenty to do. Only problem is the amount of queueing, but that was to be expected during the Summer Holidays.

If you enjoy history, this is definitely a place you need to go. The Yeoman Warders do an excellent job explaining every piece of the tower and go trough the rich history surrounding it. An absolute marvelous experience. If you have an opportunity to attend the Ceremony of the Keys, please do yourself a favor and go. This place has so much to offer.

Very busy with tourist.

Not sign posted very well, and maps / guides not given out free.

We found the Crown Jewels, then queued for ages for the Bloody Tower, only to find it was a quick walk through. You can't get near the beefeater talks.

Having somewhere obvious inside to get maps would be a great help. Don't sure if they are handed out in queue as we were ushered in by staff as a member of our party had a walking stick.
