Me and my son had a great day here especially enjoyed the tunnel
Me and my son had a great day here especially enjoyed the tunnel
Nice to see what's under the water you swimming in when you go to the ocean
It was ok. I don't know if it was worth the $35 for 45 minutes of entertainment though.
Good for kids but smaller compared to one in Sydney. Seal show is the star attraction.
Took our 3 year old twins here. They really loved it.
Great place. Lots to see and well maintained. Perfect on a hot day too!
Not my cup of tea but the family loved the place. All I can say is I'm not a fish person but the girls spent hours there and loved it. Great place to learn about sea life and the even this grumpy old man found the seal show brilliant.
Relaxed atmosphere and some genuinely interesting exhibits, great for young kids, but maybe a bit basic for adults.
Great attraction for the kids, exposing them to many types of sea animals.
Great experience. Everything is clean and well maintained. Fish tanks were awesome.
Explore the wonderful array of Sea Life, great for families.
Would benefit from more seating for elderly, as there is a lot of walking.
You are able to leave Sea Life to access the great nearby cafe's which cater for all dietary needs at affordable prices, then come back in again by showing the stamp on your wrist.
It's a must see if your in the area. Or plan to go.. We loved it.
A fantastic morning out with the family, my little people loved seeing all the marine life, one main reason we went there was to see the turtles, unfortunately we didn't find out until we were walking through the turtle exhibit that they were no longer there, would have been nice to know that they weren't there at the beginning, we missed out on the seals too because it was so busy, oh well maybe next time
Good place for kids but overpriced considering the size of it, can easily get in and out in an hour without any shows, not enough to see or do between shows though
Fun and affordable. I recommend going after lunch when it's a bit quieter
Nice place with a good Verity of water creatures. Seems smaller than I remembered...
Definitely a great place to visit however slightly expensive wouldn't go more then once a year
Fabulous place to take kids to run of some energy. Such a beautiful display to share with the family. Have to watch the seal display also
Love this places kids love it a bit of a line to get in and a bit packed but great day out
it's a great place to take the kids! theres so many interactive Finding Nemo areas for the kids to explore. and their Seal show is adorable. Plus it's in a harbor areas that has a little shopping center in it. theres a few places to eat, and if you want, you can go scuba diving too.
Have been in the past and had a great experience, but the management around COVID-19 is atrocious. Social distancing in the aquarium and arena could be easily managed with staff, but they aren t there yet.
Visited while on holiday.... a wonderful place for all ages! Lots of fun and lots to explore and learn, the gift shop is great with lots of variety and a beautiful person who works there
Nice aquarium with reasonable price.
Need to book in advance, at least 2 hours.
Begining of the tour is very nice but farer you get the quality goes down. After sea tunnel with sharks which was great but also full of people and screaming kids there not many more interesting animals. Penguins looked scared and most them were hiding which I would understand. Seals you could see few times behind blurred windows and thats it.
Overally 1st half **** and 2nd half ***.
Recommending for visit with kids if u are visiting. Thanks to the tunnel its worth it.
Btw please if you making reasearch in aquarium on tablet, use reasonable quick questionaire. I havent finish because of milion questions which I couldnt even skip. After 3min of filling the questionaire I was in 45%.
The big plus is the scientific content, which is well presented and very informative. The downsides are things like the annoyingly loud background music, the randomly coloured lighting and the fact that when I asked the ticket staff whether this was a "kid's place", they told me not at all (but it showed out to be very much so...) Seeing animals in their small enclosures/tanks at this place actually makes me more appreciate of a day out on wildlife and/or snorkeling boat tours run by ecotourism, which I now know I would choose any day before visiting an aquarium like this in the future.
Great experience for kids and adults alike. The fish displays and aquarium allow an immersive experience. The seal show tops off quite nicely, highly recommend.
Enjoyable day with the kids. The place has been here for a very long time and is showing its age. The surrounding wharf area now appears to be abandoned with only a couple of second rate shops left. It's a shame to see the area like this as it could have so much potential.
A bit over priced for the size of the place and time you spend there. Staff were friendly & my little one enjoyed it.
my favourite exhibit was when they fed the babies to the sharks
Apart from waiting 1 hour in line to get through the doors (Covid) + photos, it was a fun experience where the kids loved running up & down the ramps. Prepare to spend big in the souvenir shop towards the exit...can be pricey.
Would give ZERO stars. Myself and 50 plus people are currently waiting out in line after booking for 1130. It's now 1230 and we are still waiting in line.
What's the point in booking if you still have to wait in line for over an hour?
Poor system.
Yet to rate the actual experience inside.
Kids loved it. Seal show is quite different now that is called sealife and not underwater world. Lots of interactive things to do
Really nice place to take the family and spend the day.
The staff are very attentive and fill of information. A little small for the cost but will be worth it when penguin exhibition is open.
Prety amazing. We had a nice time. Very clean and interesting tanks. Knowledgeable staff.
This is my first time at a aquarium was lots of fun with my family but very pricey
Great place to go out with the family. Our son really enjoyed it. Octonauts displays were a hit.
Great for the kids and the $80 annual pass makes it a no brainer if you live on the coast
Good fun, educational kids love it. Bit to expensive. Even with buying online.
Watching the marine life was calming for the mind, unfortunately the loud music i found irritating to the point you could not hear the educational videos.
This place is fantastic! Great place to take the kids and explore the mystery of the sea! Great shows as well.
Well done amusements kids had fun. Was frustrating trying to find a car park
The sea life was beautiful but its not how I remembered it as a child. Its very hot and stuffy and there isn't alot there these days but it was okay we got in by winning tickets through maccas it was still nice just too hot we ended up leaving 30 mins into it because we'd already seen everything and it was so muggy
Just brilliant. Will go again. I hadn't been for years. Well worth it
Get around it all in 90 mins. Not great food options. Little kids loved it
Lovely place
Seahorses are incredible
Fantastic with our toddler. You can re-enter on the same day so we went and had lunch while our toddler slept then came back again in the afternoon when it was quieter and had a great time.
We did the meet the seals experience and it was one of the best things we ve ever done. Will be recommending this to everyone. It is the only way to experience it. Next time I ll choose to swim with the seals!
Great place for kids to learn about sea life. Book tickets online much cheaper!
Not as many great things as I recall there being but the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Done in an hour. Some nice fish on display but as far as quality aquariums go, this was fairly disappointing considering the price.
Excellent place to visit, especially for families with young children, where they can get close and personal with various forms of marine life.
Was very disappointed with this once special place which was Underwater World. Change of ownership and change of direction very disappointing
It was a wonderful experience to be there. Cherry on the top was the seal show,it was loved by all.
Sea Life is a great place to visit. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. As a regular visiting local I enjoy my visits to Sea Life, as does my family. My wife has an annual pass and wee always find something new each visit. We appreciate the unseen work behind the scenes that the Sea Life staff undertakes, particularly in turtle recovery.
Kids loved the underwater walkways and the jellyfish.
Really a nice experience, recommended on vacation in the sunshine coast !!
Great little place to go to see some marine life with the kids.
Great fun on a rainy day for kids and adults. Make sure you check out the seal show!
Well worth the money pity about the parking however
Nice place and tours, but not nearly enough parking.. Only a few unlimited time parking and no staff to direct or help.
A great place to spend a day at with a school group.
Kids and adults had an absolute blast however we were a little disappointed there were no turtles
One of the "must-see" places on the Sunshine Coast. It's one of the best aquariums in Australia and the seal shows are fantastic! My little nephew and god-son had the best time there. The staff were friendly as well.
Heaps of wild life to see, can get through including the seal show in around 2 to 3 hours which is a wonderful wholesome experience.
Great for a family day out, the "behind the scenes" tour is amazing. They also let you head out for lunch/coffee/break and come back later.
Was a last minute decision for my girlfriend and I to go but what a good decision it was love this place I'm back in stinky old Melbourne wish I was back in Queensland
We went to Sea Life on Friday 29th of December. It took us 35 minutes to find a car park. Yes you heard me right. 35 minutes. We ended up parking one kilometre away. Getting to the venue, there was a long queue of people waiting for admission. Although I had booked our tickets online, we had to stay in the line regardless. But after getting in, things were much better. Beautiful creatures are in this place for you to observe. Apart from poor air ventilation, we had a good experience inside.
Fantastic aquarium that has plenty if activities for the kids and adults alike
Great day out for the family, or 5 year olds loved it.
Sea Life Aquarium is a lovely place to sightseeing for my kids, they really enjoyed viewing different kinds of sea creatures, the place is well maintained, friendly environment. We definitely coming back in the near future.
