Good but cannot help to feel a bit uncomfortable.

Staff is really kind & encourage ways to be more conscious about environment by helping endangered turtles then put them back in the sea or explain how to act to protect environment for example.

However, a lot of sea life are just stuck in ridiculously small spaces with childs screaming or hitting on the aquarium glass. Also no flash picture regulation whatsoever. No needs to be a scientists to feel that there are not comfortable spaces for them.

Regarding the seal shows. I did not know that it was still existsing. They are doing impressive tricks, but again we had feeling that trainings to achieve them are not the things they wanted to do just to have food and for us to be amazed. If a staff could set our mind about their life conditions, would be awesome.

I loved it here. The displays and aquariums are fantastic.
I thought the photos they take of you on entry, and then offer for purchase at the end was a bit wasteful. Expensive to purchase, but they've already printed them, so if you don't purchase they probably go in the bin.

I meant to give this review at the time, just trying to catch up all my reviews.
SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast is good, but it needs to be updated sometime. We took our kids there thinking we would show them their latest shows, and they were the exactly same show as we had seem 5 years earlier.... come on guys!!! You can get better than that

Underwhelming. Came 10 years ago and there were otters, crabs, crayfish performing seals and a giant turtle - all gone now. The jellyfish and seahorse displays were quite good but not a patch on the Aquariums I ve visited in Japan and New Caledonia. The water looked dirty and the general appearance was shabby and a bit dirty. My Japanese Homestay student (16) stepped on chewing gum - not impressed. Will not be back and cannot recommend. Overpriced, underwhelming -a definite disappointment.

Very relaxed. Peaceful but fun and exciting for my little girl. Lots of variety. Interesting talks. Good social distancing in practice.
Layout was a bit confusing and we missed a couple of things and went round something twice. It might be a was distracted by the toddler
If I lived there I would likely get an annual pass.
I got an online Special and got a lot out of its so four me good value.
We didn't visit the giftshop,

Pluses and minuses. It was a frustrating visit, not entirely their fault.

Good point - they bent over backwards to help us reorganise our booking as some of us booked separately and the timing was off, thank you!

Bad points- due to restrictions we missed the show, as the room was at capacity. Perhaps extra shows, we weren't going to wait another 2 hours.

Distancing was non existent. Its hard in close spaces, but perhaps more could be done.

The photo with the seal took a long time. We waited outside for an hour for the photos to be printed that we'd paid for. When bought out they offered us 2 more photos that that they had already printed for another $10 each. Seems wasteful in this day and age. Get rid the obvious up sell and either charge more, if that's what you have to do.

We had fond memories from out last visit 2 years ago, it didn't feel the same this time.

The older female receptionist wouldn't accept our online purchased tickets via our smart phone, has to be printed at home prior to arrival although printers were seen available and could have been easily emailed and printed at reception. We Travelled all the way from the Gold Coast to be told this.
Not happy with the way we were addressed as young parents and the customer service we received. Very unsatisfied hence the 1 star review.
We will be following up a refund in full with a formal complaint.
Our daughter is very disappointed as are we. It's also her birthday today. Cheers again.

Went there just for the octonauts themed area as my son loves it a lot. Otherwise would prefer the SeaWorld in gold coast (if you are some one in between these two @brisbane). Lots of parking but can get hard to find a spot at peak hours/weekends.

Great time. Nice little aquarium with lots to offer little kids. A bit over priced with regards to the size of the place and time spent in there. To experience once (not sure it is worth the annual pass).

Nice day out with the family. Although it was a bit warm in areas, there was plenty to keep my 11 month old and 5 year old entertained, as well as myself and hubby.
The shark and ray tunnel was amazing!! That was our favourite. Also the seal show was fun and informative.
Getting tickets online will save a few dollars

Used to be great, would go once every few months, now its half the size and ask for the same entry fee. Half the enclosures where closed for repairs/upgrades and still charged the same without advertising its under maintenance. Turned very poor better off with a trip to goldy.

Would be a great place to take kids as there s a lot of interactive experiences. A bit less interesting for adults and given the price there are better things to do on the coast. Seal show is cool though.

Decent experience and most of the staff were friendly but social distancing was basically non existent! I understand when you to go a public attraction it will be busy but there were large crowds of people in the shark tunnel, lots of random families standing around blocking exits/entrances, lots of people coming close to your face to look past you at a fish, no monitoring in place! From start to finish, excluding the gift shop, we probably saw 2 staff members in the whole place and none were intervening or reminding visitors of the restrictions. Clearly covid is non existent in the sunny coast

Nice designed aquarium with mainly indigenous species. The Oceantunnel was very nice but otherwise we had already visited much better aquariums in Australia. We found the aquariums much too small for too many animals. The area is with its two large playgrounds rather recommended for children and the animal shows we do not like anyway. In the restaurant it was impossible to warm and there was only simple fast food.

So cool. We took 30+ kindergarten children. The day was well planned by the tour staff they were great with the children. We were a little late so it felt a little rushed at the beginning. Would love to go back.
