Great experience for young and old, with lots of things for the kids.
Great place. Lots of different animals which was amazing.
Awesome experience for kids, saw behind the scenes for $10
Absolutely brilliant. Even since the old Underwater World days, the centre consistently delivers a top quality experience. Very happy to bring my kids back here to have the same experiences that I did at their age. First time I've done the Seal Encounter and what an experience! Teiko the sea lion was a pleasure to have a photo with even though she was worried about the menacing water dragon in her enclosure! Thanks to Jacqui and the rest of the staff for their hospitality.
Innovative & fun marine experiences & education. Active programs to care for & understand ocean life for future generations.
An excellent aquarium, found by accident on a wet afternoon. Highlights were the underwater tunnel, the gorgeous jellyfish, the seal show, and the variety of children's activities. 2 hours plus of interesting entertainment guaranteed. Refreshments were hard to find on our visit with padlocked fridges full of cold drinks to tantalise... Otherwise great!
Always love going to Underwater World! Plenty of activities for kids, during April 2018 there is a Paw Patrol Pup Hunt to add some excitement.
Seal show is always worth seeing, although I'd recommend finding a seat 15 min before the start as it seems to always be full.
The Ocean Tunnel is a personal favourite, getting up close to the different creatures is brilliant.
Pre bought tickets thinking it would be like Melbourne where you get express entry (was with all 3 kids) had to wait in general admission queue. Random layout, had to double back several times to see all the sections. School holidays so very busy. If you're going to go, wait until after lunchtime. When we left around 130pm there was no queue to go in.
Friendly staff, good amount of displays, wheelchairs for hire if required. Due to arriving just before the seal show they took us through a shortcut so we didn't miss it.
A wonderful place to experience the sea life. The seal show is a must see! All the animals look well cared for and there are plenty of tours and feeding shows throughout the day. You can leave and come back in the same day. Across from Sea Life there are ample places to eat including gourmet burgers, fish and chips, cafes, Mexican and hogs breath. There is also a lolly store and an ice cream store. It's a beautiful place to visit
Great place however shame about the lack of parking long enough to enjoy it and the local council vultures dishing out tickets just before closing time! We won t be back and it s easy to see why tourism in Australia is failing miserably.
Great family day out, the seal show and ocean tunnel were highlights of our visit
Kids liked it only spent a hour there and walked slowly around with a 1 year old
Wow, they close at 3pm so you need to be through the doors by 2pm and $40 per adult. One third the size of Sydney Aquarium and $5 dearer we decided against it deeming it not enough value for an $80 outlay.
Their is only a few attractions but it was very beautiful.
Went with our 2 year old, had a great time plenty to do and see. Staff friendly and helpful.
