A great spot with a great selecting of sea life to see. They have really good enclosures with a lot of space for the animals and nice environments. The staff a freindly and very knowledgeable about the animals they work with.

We did the school holiday sleepover in the tunnel after seeing it advertised in BRISBANE KIDS magazine.
I thought at times the pace was a bit slow, and the sleeping arrangements pretty rough, However, my 9 and 7 year old girls, LOVED IT!
It was the highlight of their school break, and I d definitely recommend for kids aged 5-10. We stayed on after the sleepover to hit the gift shop and went to the am seal show which is always predictably awesome.

If aquariums are your thing, this is a good one! Fantastic breeding programme (one of only 3 in the world that have successfully bred Sharks) & an awesome rehabilitation system for the local sealife (inc' the highly endangered Sea Turtles)
Even if you don't want to see fish in tanks you should support their endeavours!

Nice visit. The only thing that puzzled me was getting told off for touching a starfish... under normal circumstances I would understand it but certainly not when those particular starfish were in the shallow petting pool where touching is encouraged! I was told that even the slightest touch would cause them to drop one of their arms. My point is, if they are such a delicate creature and they should not be touched, perhaps the petting pool is not the smartest place to home them!

What a great couple of hours! Went on the guided tour which was very informative. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for families with children. Loved the underwater tunnel.

Even with COVID plans in place the place was still pretty cramped. Seemed severely understaffed with only 2 workers at the front entrance with hundreds of people in line waiting way past their pass entry time. Nothing to flashy to see, missed the seal show also because it was at capacity. Barely acceptable seeing this is the only large Aquarium in South East Queensland. Not really worth the entry pass at full price if youre coming on a weekend during school holidays.

It was so good!! Got to touch a starfish, see some rays up close and they splash you the seal show was THE BEST EVER! So funny and you can see the seals are really well looked after, they get lots of fish as rewards which is really nice to see. The girl doing the show did a really great job! Definitely getting a year pass as my baby loved seeing all the beautiful fishies!

I took my 4, 6 & 8 year Olds there. Only things to really know is that the dinning tables (picnic tables) near the cafe is really cramped at times, also depends on size of family (5 of us). Also the children's play area has very limited space to sit and watch the children and with so many children wanting to play and parents wanting to watch it's gets as cramped as a can of sardines. Don't forget the exit and jelly fish areas the same way. So if you don't want to get caught going against a flow of people then please leave it too the way out (as we found out the hard way).
Over all besides these it's really a great place and I'm glad I took the drive from Brisbane there.
Plus many great looking restaurants close to it plus a Lolli shop and ice cream shop.

Went for a trip to the sunshine coast with my girlfriend and this was one of the highlights. The presentations were very good and it seems like they do a lot to preserve the aquatic wildlife

What a fantastic place to visit. I didnt take a lot of pics because of not being able to use flash photography and i am not a really good photographer myself. But really worth the visit. The sealife in there are amazing and you can get quite close to them. You can climb underneath a tank and feel like your in it with a window dome you put your head in. An amazing experience and all the family loved it.

Lined up at the web express today. Funnily enough they had a girl being trained on... we had a nightmare of a time with the extremely rude and condescending woman who finally turned up. The staff inside were great and the only reason for 2 stars.

Was awesome our daughter was so excited. Great to see the Dori playground and octonauts she loved it. Very educational too even the mums learnt something We missed the seal show but saw then playing after and they seem very cheeky. Great day out.

The walk through tunnel was fantastic, and the kids loved watching the scuba men feeding the fish! A little overpriced given the size, we expected to spend the whole morning there, but found we went through it in a little over an hour. We weren't able to see any keeper talks, understandably because of space limitations, and there were limited interactive displays/activities.
All staff were really friendly though.

Great experience.

Great experience.
Wonderful exhibits and colorful displays.
The seal show was very entertaining.
Would have liked more staff to answer questions and better directions to find particular zones.
Would definately go again.

Amazing aquarium! Couldn't recommend it enough. If you are able to, do the behind the scenes tour. It puts the aquarium into perspective and is really informative.
Prices are great here and lots to choose from at the cafe.
Great for families and highly recommend for holiday goers!

Unfortunately we were here on a very busy day. Unfortunately it can not compete with other aquariums I have been in. The pools are very small and not very nice. Overall, more could be done, especially for the animals. I also lacked descriptions about the animals and if you did not know exactly which animal was meant, as there were no links with pictures.

I was gifted the "trainer for a day" package for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed my experience!
I felt like I was treated like royalty! I was put ahead of all the lines and was first to get photos taken, got inside information about the rigorous and extremely well-thought-out activities behind the scenes and was served with priority for anything I wanted from the cafeteria included in the package price.
The incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and good-humoured employees, Demi, Renee, Dylan, Malcolm and Johntee were very helpful and were happy to answer any questions I had.
The exceptional staff and how I was treated alone would be enough for me to indulge in this activity again, but the content itself and my absolute appreciation of the beauty of (Dylan's majestic hair) the seals is just as much of a contending force.
The information I learned during my time as a "trainer for day" was not just "fun facts", it was rich in substance and present opportunities for application in everyday life.

I could not recommended this enough.
Prepare to meet fun and passionate people
Prepare to learn amazing and useful things
Prepare to be surprised that the "on display" component of Sea life does not compare to the "behind the scenes" component.
And of course;
Prepare to swim with seals :)
