Not the best in the chain. Quite dated in decor. However, the staff are excellent, friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent position for most parts of the city with rail and bus links very close for going further afield.

It's ok but not worth the prices they charge per night tbh first night we stayed here the restaurant was closed. Also couldn't get any spa treatment or even a massage as it was all fully booked. Rooms are nice and spacious but a little dated. Overall disappointing and don't think I'd stay here again.

We are in Glasgow, Scotland and this is the quality of the Marriott here!! Is this a joke?!? Sleep Inns in SLC, UT have a lot better standards than this. The room they gave us as Elite member is pathetic!

We checked in at 2 pm and when went to the room noticed the AC doesn't work and the room is pretty hot. So we called and let the front desk know. One hour passed and still nothing, so we got a hold of a cleaning lady on the hall and got a table fan. She said she will let the maintenance people know about it. By 9 pm we made 2 more calls and asked to move us to another room on our last call. That's when they informed us that they don't have any more rooms available and will send another table fan...wow!

The hotel itself is old. The window in the room won't open more than 4 fingers, we are sweating like crazy. In the bathroom the toilet won't flash properly, you need to wait and flash 2-3 times. So far all the hotels we stayed in during this trip had USB ports in the room, this one doesn t have any. We have our adapters so used that to charge our devices. Also, all the other hotels gave us some complimentary water bottles in the room, this hotel didn t. I am very much disappointed by the service we received as Elite member here.

I would have given this hotel an one star, but the staff are nice. This whole hotel needs an renovation, they need to modernize everything. I wonder how are they allowed to keep the brand name with such bad quality!

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have had in the last decade. A/C in the room broke my first day. I was told that a pipe broke and they stated none of the rooms have A/C. They provided me a fan because I assume they believe blowing hot air around is an improvement. After waking up several times in the middle of the night in a pool of sweat I was looking to a working A/C as they told me they have a crew working on it and will be fixed by morning at the latest. Not true. When I called to inquire she stated that she will have someone check my room. After returning from meeting I was provided a 2nd fan. I again suppose so I can blow around 2x the hot air. I have also ruled out that all rooms are affected because the 12th floor lounge (a converted hotel room) is very cool. There are several co-workers who also are without A/C. The rest of the hotel is in a dire need of updates from water stained carpet in the hallways to extremely old pain in the rooms and walls throughout the hotel. I would strongly recommend other hotels in the area and I ha e. It admitted that about a Marriott in a very long time. This place is pathetic who has demonstrated a clear practice of not caring about
Their customer. I ha e received no apology, or offered ANY restitution for the very large inconvenience of not being able to sit in my room to work. I will not return and may check out early.

Hotel was ok. Located very near a major road so can be quite noisy if you have a window open. Lots of shabby looking or tired areas. Locks on toilet doors broken and hand drier rusty. Could do with some TLC to be honest.

We booked ahead to use the Leisure facilities (Pool) for myself, my husband and my 4 month old baby. I chose the Marriott Leisure as I have good memories from there as a child & I thought it would be a good environment to go to given the current Covid situation.

Sadly I was so very wrong.

It hasn't been updated in anyway. It is genuinely the exact same as it was when I was a child (I'm now 32) and it shows. There were missing and broken tiles. It was grubby looking. Simple things like a white wooden door looked dirty...it doesn't take much to out a kick of paint on that.

There are no baby changing facilities in the changing rooms. This was my biggest upset, especially since I called ahead in advance & advised we would be bringing a baby. I had nowhere to put him to get him changed so I had to do it on one of the seating benches. fine, however when it came to getting myself changed I had no idea what to do with him. There was no where to safely put him. When I asked a member of staff she advised me that there was a pull down baby changing tray in the disabled toilet (which is not near the changing rooms). So me and my child are expected to get ready in a disabled toilet (which wasnt clean looking and there was nothing available to clean down the area/tray for my baby).

The corridors and changing rooms were freezing! I heard several people complain about this. The pool area was a good temperature however walking back to the changing room was a test of your will power!

I'll be contacting the manager over the next couple of days, I'm so deeply disappointed.

So the stay that was no stay, myself and my family had booked this amazing hotel for a few days over the Easter break. However covid 19 hit and our booking was lost...... We had pre paid so I decided to make a call to the reception where I was greeted with a fantastic lady who assured me I would be refunded with in 90 days, hmm I thought this shall be a battle considering the climate.

Well I'm delight to see the amount refunded less than 4 weeks later, in full and before time. I will be back very soon in better times. Thank you and stay safe,

Great breakfast. Tidy rooms and friendly staff. Only downside is there are no plugs in my room next to the bed that work. Maybe time to add a few USB ports or a plug which a phone could be charged from close to the bed.

Hotel is on top form, with everything that's going on I was very happy to see that the hotel was taking every precaution and helping customers through the tough time. Customer service was epic, reception, breakfast and bar service was helpful and welcoming. Will certainly be a returning guest! Thanks Marriott

Older hotel facility, with worn rooms, as typical for Marriott. Can't meet up with their self proclaimed high standards (just begins with no complimentary water on room). SUPER warm temperature inside, climate control barely working, no fresh air as windows cannot be opened. Additionally, SUPER loud at autobahn. Would stay at another place if possible.

What an absolute poor & appalling service, would never visit here ever again, the MANAGER ANDREW was really in helpless and rude. I use Marriot all the time. But this branch what a disaster, just needed an apology and would be fine, but too much attitude. They are full liers and give wrong information to my guest that I could have made payment for them in advance which I didn't. But I only requested to put this right by telling my guest correct information. But what an absolutely dusgustong service from mr Andrew night manager. Shame on him. Should not be even a door man.

Nice hotel with welcoming and attentive staffs. The room was neat and clean. I found the bed was very comfortable, but that's totally subjective. The breakfast buffet would be quite commendable where the classic Haggis and porridge (with a shot of whisky mixed in, if you'd like), coffee, tea and other items are served - a good place to start a day.

Room was dated and not cleaned properly. Shower was dirty and sink full of hairs.
Breakfast was disgusting, food looked like it had been cooked the day before- obviously had been cooked earlier and not replenished. Staff not interested.

States is a 4 star but have stayed in 2 star establishments that had better facilities

The airport shuttle drops you off right around the corner. The hotel is right in the middle of town, walking distance from pubs clubs and restaurants. I didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food, but the bar is large and there is a good seating area with plug sockets for laptops or phones.

Absolutely terrible. When I arrived my room was super hot and windows couldn't be opened. I had the AC on all night on max but all it did was make a lot of noise. When I woke up after having slept really badly the room was just as hot. Internet was super-slow. The 3G on my phone was actually more than 10 times faster than the hotel-wifi. It's 2019(!) how hard can it be. Also had to pay 10GBP per hour for a delayed checkout.

Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Clean rooms, nice lounge, conveniently located.

Clean rooms, nice lounge, conveniently located.
So yeah, it's a business hotel (with associated meeting rooms and whatnot). Which is good - the decor is entirely predictable (if you've been to the Kensington Marriott in London, you've been here).

The staff is *very* friendly, and happy to help. A friend of mine had sent over cake/pastries as a birthday surprise, and the hotel tossed in a bottle of bubbly on their own...

That said, do note that the fixtures are, well, British (wonky plumbing, etc.)

Incidentally, they *do* have a lounge, and if you've got relevant status, theres a light breakfast and drinks in the evening. Nothing to write home about, but good coffee is always welcome!
