Than you Duncan!! You make our stay at this hotel absolutely comfortable! Organized everything for us, so we were on time for our plane. Swimming pool, and team there were perfect for relaxing, after long trip to Glasgow.

This is a really bad hotel , it is the worst hotel in Glasgow!! And the staff has the audacity to switch up our rooms over and over with every problem that comes within their way of satisfactory results, which made us feel like milked cows for our expansionary fee

Really nice hotel in a great location. The breakfast was good, as was the bar in the evening. The staff were polite and helpful. Room was big and comfortable.

This hotel is really dated and needs to be revamped. The A/C took hours to cool down the room (on full speed). Breakfast was not impressive, a lot of the items simply didn t have any taste. The Executive Lounge is way too small for a hotel of this size, and it is probably the least impressive Marriott lounge I have ever been to.
We had dinner at the restaurant, we were happy with the quality of that food.
The pool is old, too, but quite big at least.
I selected the green option, but our towels were changed nevertheless.
The city center can be easily reached by a short walk.

Standard UK Marriott I use for work. Not one of the high decor ones. Staff friendly and helpful, would recommend the stay.

Dinner was cold service was slow .at the Scottish wards. Disappointed

Place smelt funny trying to mask the smell of chlorine with strong air freshener. Rooms are old and grubby and the executive breakfast room was small and had no places to sit.

I havent been in for a few years and it's hardly changed. Showing its age now I think and the main lounge could be doing with a freshen up. Steff were friendly enough though and the coffee was nice

In that kind of hotel class the Wi-Fi should be free in room. Unfortunately the rooms are bit tired and need Fresh air too.

Very cozy hotel. Very friendly staff with real genuine SMILE. Good location as it is so close to Tesco market, shopping area, food outlets that fits every taste and train station.

My husband and I booked the Marriott in Glasgow for 3 nights January. We had tickets to watch "The sound of Music" at the Kings Theatre as our 7 year old niece was in the show playing Gretel. Our room was very nice. Unfortunately our niece became ill on the train to Glasgow with her team and so we met her at the station and needed to take her to the hotel with us as she wasn't well enough to perform. The hotel were absolutely amazing, bringing balloons and treats to our room to cheer her up and also offering and providing a single bed for for the 2 nights we had left. Every single member of staff that we spoke to or served us were so polite and friendly and it made our stay, even after the disappointment, really good. I would only have good things to say about this hotel and its staff! !!

Lovely room on the 12th floor with access to the lounge recommended.

Expect an old hotel. Very different from my usual experience. Also, Don't count on excercizing, it is not in the hotel, doesn't open 24hrs and super dirty!!

Very comfortable rooms for that night away to all above board top range rooms and great customer service access to city centre shopping till your dropping hotel

Room is a nice size. No free WiFi except in lobby and no free breakfast. Very disappointed.

Food was good, alcohol reasonable priced. Rooms were obviously decorated well, but starting to look like it needs refurnished.
Main areas of hotel are all very modern and we'll thought out.

The staff and location were the best ever. We spent two weeks at the Hotel and got to know many of the staff and loved them all. I wish I could remember every ones name but the one I do remember is Guy on the concierge staff. He was always happy and ready to help as was every one of the staff we had contact with. Best hotel stay ever.

The hotel is nice, just like all other Marriott's. It's in a very nice location close to the shopping area, bus and train stations. Very friendly and courteous staff and the food in the restaurant is ok. However, wifi is not free even for the Marriott reward members

lobby toilet near bar review

i went to glasgow for a few days and stayed here, whilst sitting in the lobby having a drink, i had to use this toilet quite a fair bit. i didnt take much notice of the toilet as i was in there, so my review is not as accurate as it could/should be

location:
this toilet is rather well located, being available readily from the very moment you step in to hotel, until you get to your room. being near the bar is also very helpful as it means there is not very far to go when youre getting pissed, however if you are in the restaurant, you have to use these same toilets, which is a real shame.

atmosphere:
this is where the toilet loses all of its points which it gained via its fantastic location. being at the disposal of the other users of the bar, the toilet is often full and not very clean. cleanliness is not much of a problem here, as it is clean enough, its just a shame that some people enjoy relieving themselves all over the floor.

overall:
being constantly on edge when using this toilet is a real negative, as it would be nice to fully relax when using the toilet, this is unfortunately impossible here, this is the most important aspect of toilets, and really damages the experience when privacy is not 100% guarenteed

Staff were very friendly and food was 5 star just the guest's next to us at dinner were very loud and obnoxious and spoilt our experience.

Rooms are looking a little tired but it's in a good location.

Spacious room, very good beds. Good breakfast, good service from the staff. Good ubication.

Really annoyed an dated room that costs 180 didn't include breakfast altho 99% of places include breakfast .... the alarm woke us up blaring out at 9am on a Sunday morning, I personally found the staff in the breakfast area rude and I will never stay again, I would rather get more for my money... also at night you can t just order and pay for a drink at the bar with cash, you have to deposit 50 to your room before even being able to buy I drink, this is ridiculous.....

Nice hotel, parking ridiculous price though and not somewhere to go if looking for good views

The buffet breakfast is excellent both in quantity and quality.

Hotel was what you would expect from a full service Marriott. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There closed cabinet for a fridge and it contains one but it's screwed shut. Strange that they wouldn't let people use them. no ice maker. have to request ice to be brought up. Good location. Many things downtown are within a 15 minute walk. Ate at bar one night and food was good.

Decent hotel. Comfortable and bar is reasonably well stocked.

Incredibly dated. Air conditioning does not function correctly, hot water in bathroom is sporadic. Television stopped working. Alternative room was offered but on a different floor! Kettle leaked. Basin tap leaked. Bathroom had hairs left from previous occupant, so much covid deep clean. Overall give this overpriced, outdated hotel a wide berth

For a function it's an excellent place. Staff were very attentive and considerate.

The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are large and clean. The service is top notch. It is close to the city center.

Ass end of argyle street. Not made clear how to enter. Limited parking. Hall was a good size. Sat near the door had a hefty draft coming in from main entrance

The lobby bar was fine, drinks were pricey though and the table took a while to get cleared as the bar was exceptionally busy. Staff are friendly.

The staff are nice but the hotel doesn t seem to be like other Marriott hotels I have been to. This one has very old fashioned decor and is not modern so I won t be booking again.
