Comfortable room, decent pricing, great staff and venue!

Very nice place and very attentive staff. It would be good if the wifi was in the room but to rest one day I did not have a problem.

Big place a bit run down, sad breakfast and wobbly lifts. Won't go back if I happen to be in Glasgow again

Truly a nice hotel from the outside, but above all from the inside. It looks very classy and refined with very friendly and helpful staff. The food served seemed quite good and worthy of a good hotel, I ate in a self service for swimming Europeans.

Really nice hotel, very good reception service. Rooms are nice abit dated. Our Aircon didn't seem to make much of a difference so had to have the window open. The breakfast at the iron grill and food at the bar was really good. The pool and facilities were good although know jacuzzi which I would normally expect from a Marriott. All areas of the hotel were kept very clean and fresh smelling.

Close walk to downtown and train station. Room was fine, quite clean, decent-sized bathroom, nice view, decent internet, no minifridge.

Used the leisure centre herw and it was great. Bed was really comfy and room we had was fairly sized for 3 people. Staff were very kin.

Classic Marriott hotel. Great quality accommodation, excellent facilities, attentive and professional staff. Restaurant menu is slightly limited but the quality was excellent.

To be honest... very old fashioned and outdated. The spa needs an up date also. Felt like a local swimming pool. Too many stairs to get to it as well. Bar was expensive. Just not worth the money. I probably wouldn't stay at a marriot again. For the same money there's much more modern and better quality hotels available. Time for an update Marriott

Very nice interior, spacious conference facilities and situated in a central location.

Stayed here for one night for an event which was held in the hotel. Polite friendly staff very welcoming. Good food in the evening and the breakfast was pretty good too. Strange arrangement with the stairs if you d prefer not to use the lift - when the leisure centre is open you can access the stairs that way (you have to go outside) but out of these hours you have to have a staff member escort you through a private staff only corridor... seems odd and would stop me staying there again.

Beautiful clean hotel pool facilites could do with jaccuzi and easier route to pool.The staff cannot be faulted all willing to help.The rooms were clean beautifully decorated with tv and wifi available.

Visited the Marriot Hotel for a conference and recently, a ceilidh. Good venue, cracking looking hotel inside and good restaurant.

Good stay. Food portion could be a bit bigger but tasty nonetheless. Staff eager to assist whenever possible.

Ill situated, a bit noisy from the motorway, a bit run down, slow and indifferent service... Not what I was expecting from a Marriott, but whatever, it's a hotel, you'll live.

I ve stayed at the Marriott and many others but sadly I ve seen a drastic decline in this brand. The luxury has gone, it has been replaced with a grudging spirit. The room prices don t reflect the tired decor and greed. You have to pay extra for everything!

It s central for the Exhibition Centre a small train station to the side hitch is perfect, apart from Sunday when it s closed

The hotel it feels tierd! The room we got was small, smelly and too hot. The public areas are ok, There are better hotels in Glasgow for the same money. Marriott could do with remodelling the entire offering.

Nice hotel. But you have to purchase WiFi separately it's not included in your room

Toilet in the spa dirty and gel nail polish chipped the same day it was put on, massage was lovely though and the room very inviting.

Rooms are of a good standard and all modernised, large TV etc. Bathrooms are quite low so good luck showering if you are close to 6ft tall. Some parts of the hotel still need a bit of tlc, including the pool/change areas. Bar and restaurants both good. Would stay again.

Had a work awards night here, within easy walking distance from central station, great selection of food on buffet and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

10th floor fabulous view, comfy bed and fab service

Didn't like the service that much , internet is not for free and quite expensive even if you're a guest and beside the good was overrated quite expensive with low quality , but they have good gym that's missing towels

Attended a wedding Reception. It was pretty good. From the outset it looks a bit. But surely it's good inside.
Appreciate the free parking for wedding guests.

In need if refurbishment in some areas but the service is first rate, the food excellent.
My room was generous but the bed a bit plank-like. Bathroom a bit dated.

Fairly decent city centre hotel, if a little expensive. The buffet lunch offered as part of our overnight business event was varied and to a decent standard. Breakfast were exceptional with the usual cooked and continental offerings. Rooms were ok but fairly small, typical marriott room and no complaints.

It's a very good hotel in Glasgow.

Never had a better service. Customer service was outstanding, kind, friendly and ever ready to assist you in any was possible. Plenty of stores to shop and places to eat all walking distance away. Their spa massage was great and the wife loved getting her nails done. Would love to book with them again!

Staff helped me to get all the information and help I needed, they also recommend a beautiful restaurant.
Gym well equipped and great continental breakfast.
Convenient location, just 5 min walk from Glasgow Central.

My wife and I arrived at 1500 on Saturday19th October for a 2 night stay. We spent the most uncomfortable 2 days and nights with no heating in spite of reporting this to reception at least 3 or 4 times, it transpired that the entire hotel More

Lovely starry walls in the main function room. Food was good but nothing special. Expensive drinks

Lovely banquet Hall, service was very good but parking was a bit of an issue apart from that excellent service.

Access to the Executive Lounge makes for a comfortable stay. Rooms are bright & airy, bathrooms are spacious.

Booked a room for a workshop. Excellent customer service. Air-conditioning wasn't working particularly well.

The rooms were in really good condition but the thing which lets it down is that there is not free WiFi in rooms and only in the communal area

Pool is a bit outdated and a bit of a walk with lots of stairs to get to it.

Stayed twice in 2 months. First time was ok but the second time the a/c was down for the whole week stay. Gave up and changed to the airport courtyard. I did get a 100 pounds knocked off the stay but it doesn't make up for no air for a week. Has a concierge lounge.

Was awful stay. Worst Marriott hotel stay ever . Also on last day my bag was rummaged through and stuff stolen . Guys get your act together . Rooms so cold we had to ask for a fan heater and extra blankets . Water like warm . Never ever again will I stay at the Marriott and I was loyal .

Reception and restaurant areas everything they should be. Classy and vibrant.
I had an upgraded double room via a diamond account. The room hadn't seen an upgrad since 1974.
God help those who get basic.
Ceiling was coming in, mould behind taps, decor was NOT contemporary..well..maybe once was... not recently though.
Incredibly disappointed. Travel inn over the road would have provided a more modern and safe room.

My room was nowhere near as big as I though it was going to be, as I got the Queen room. Was difficult to sleep as it was far too warm and the sliding window only opens up around 5" and the air conditioning doesn't do a thing. Personally I think Marriott can do a lot better with the rooms. Good points... Staff where amazing and very accommodating, very close to everything in Glasgow City centre, lovely lounge area and breakfast area, the breakfast was really high quality. Personally I wouldn't pay what I did for the room I got. Good experience though.

Nice staff, but the cost of the drinks is very expensive.
