The room was lovely, the bed comfy and the breakfast buffet was great! The only negatives were that the room was a little on the small side and the carpet in the hall a bit in need of updating.

AC broken all night so place was like a sauna. Could also do with setting the breakfast area better as it was pandemonium in there. Lovely room but ruined with the heat and 1 window opened about 2inches

Good hotel overall.

Good hotel overall.
A little walk from central station.
Proactively upgraded but preferences of late checkout not passed on from the mobile check-in on one stay but the other way around on another stay (no upgrade without having to ask but late checkout met).

Lounge is nice, with a decent offering in the evening (hot meat, salad and cheese) and doesn't close during the weekend.
Breakfast much better in the restaurant unless you have a very small appetite or want a quiet place.
I've seen similar hotels with more choice at breakfast but all the essentials are there.
Enhanced WiFi is the usual 10mbps up/down. This isn't enough in 2018.
Room was clean and quiet. Shower not good for tall people.
Power ports by the bed are hidden behind the nightstand.
Odd number are the ones with 2 double beds or superior kind room while the other are odd numbers (executive king + deluxe king).

Quality has really gone down in the last few years I have been staying here, fewer amenities in the room, everything a bit run down. The AC barely works in the summer, gets turned off altogether in winter apparently. Some of the younger front desk and restaurant staff are really under trained (read rude and unhelpful) . Still quite close to the city centre and it's own parking space.

Once again Glasgow Marriott Hotel and it's staff helped make my stay in Scotland so special. The staff in this hotel are superb. I would particularly like to mention the young concierge on the desk (Sunday 8th July 2018) nothing was too much trouble for this young gentlemen and I thank him for his recommendations and getting us to our destinations. Also Emma in the restaurant, a wonderfully warm and efficient person who quite simply made our day. To all the staff at the Marriott, in a world of hurried and sometimes completely forgotten courtesy and manners you are all outstanding in your customer service. Thank you.

I visited Glasgow Marriott's conference center and haven't stayed there as a guest so my review is for the conference room only. The conference room was in general well organized. I was able to locate my room very easy once I entered the hotel lobby. There was a problem with the power supply as there were 4 outlets per 6 people. There was a portable hanger for the coats but no space to put the laptop bags so we had to have them lying on the floor. There was one microphone at the end of a very long table so when someone from the other side was speaking the remote participants had a struggle hearing him. While the meeting was in session the door of the room would lock from the inside leaving anyone that had to use the bathroom outside(who then had to bang the door loudly alerting everyone in the room of his unfortunate situation).
On the other hand the catering was very good, there were frequent renewals of coffee and snacks all day long and there was a very decent lunch buffet.
Overall the hotel looked tired and outdated and I wasn't inspired to stay there as a guest.

Staff were very friendly but that's the only good thing about this hotel. Rooms were dated and dirty, no fridge to keep stuff cool, carpets were covered in stains, bed was rock hard, the bathroom still had used soap in it, shower not very More

Great staff. Decor a bit dated. Rooms must have been designed by someone who doesn't sit to dry hair and put make up on as no mirror at dressing table. Carpets seriously need to be looked at

The room was large, comfortable, had a bathtub, and the breakfast service staff was very good.

Well the great thing here is the bed after that... its all sort of flat. Not the experienc you expect at the marriott but hey ho it is what is. The rooms are functional. You can call to have a fridge brought up. Hallways arent sound proof so you hear about everyones cousin and their drama to boot. The breakfast buffet is poor. Rather walk to tesco or costa and pay them to get your morning fill. The location fabulous and the double glazing on the windows ensures you hear nothing from the outside

Visitors often greeted with a cheery welcome on entry and the lobby is usually bustling with a wide variety of guests, Emirates cabin crew, or hotel housekeeping staff.
Chats bar won Gold for Best Bar None recently, but has been re-named the Brew Bar. Service here is conducted with decorum by friendly approachable staff, just as in the refurbished Cast Iron Grill. Wide selection of gins and whiskies - try the taster sessions.
Marriott Fitness, the leisure centre, offers a neat airy pool with lovely sauna and steam room and to complement the water therapy a drinking water fountain supplies deliciously chilled water, presumably from Loch Katrine? (Check!) Private swimming lessons are available for all ages, as well as the popular well-structured swim babies classes. Members receive loyalty benefits, coffee mornings and free guest opportunities, and there is a new 'beauty' facility called Spa in the City for facials, massage and so on.
Have not yet booked in for the night there but would like to. . . I'm sure I'd want to prolong the visit!

In all fairness I don't do a ton of traveling in Europe so take this with a grain of salt. I am a simple guy and the main things I need in a hotel are cleanliness, a comfortable bed, decent shower and breakfast is always nice if included. The hotel was clean but very dated. The bed was atrocious, I barely slept. The shower was on a weird platform and when I got in my head was almost hitting the ceiling and I am average height. Of course with me only giving a two star breakfast wasn't included. There wad a restaurant in the very nice lobby. What annoyed me the most was you had to pay 4 Euro for 15 minutes of internet. They did wave the fee but for what I paid for that crummy room it should have been included. Not impressed, would not stay again if I had the choice.

Decent hotel even though a bit dated, friendly staff and good location easy walking distance for city centre or short cab/long but pleasant walk to the west end. Near the motorway (my room was overlooking it) but couldn't hear it. Big, comfy bed.

The hotel needs to change the furniture and the location is very good and close to the airport take the taxi 28 pounds and because of the snow means to be close to the center of the central station and the staff were changed rooms room reservation 50 pounds for the night to Sweet and the view beautiful river through the window. The snow is beautiful and the science is to settle for them. Other rooms for tea and recreation. 12 tea fruits. Computer Fax machine for free with the Swit. Pizza Hut Pizza Rabian Shi Tayeb Durin is close to Nadouz station and restaurant. There are compounds on the opposite side of the river and I am sorry to prolong your brother from Kuwait

I attended the Glasgow Mario hotel for a friend's wedding. The venue itself is excellent with plenty of space and seats available in the lobby area for guests. There was a large bar present serving a variety of drinks for those waiting to enter the hall. We use one of the side rooms available to us for worshiping purposes which was very accommodating of the staff. Furthermore, the toilets were kept to a clean standard throughout, which can often be difficult when people are constantly popping in and out following the various meals served at the event. Over the location can be a little tricky to get to, there is plenty of parking space available, which is fantastic.

2 night stay was just fine. Clean, spacious room; friendly staff; an actual parking lot for rental car. Check out really simple. Didn't get chance to use gym/pool area, but it looked quite large. Only 2 issues I had was price for breakfast ($15p per person seemed expensive for buffet) and no refrigerator in room.

The place is a little dated but the staff are great and friendly. The hotel is busy and comes with a good energy and atmosphere. The gym is fantastic and should cater for all programs. Standard Marriott food options.
