Great service every time I go. Pastor John Hannah is awesome. He gives you the word as it states in the Bible. Speaks honest and truthful to each and every member. My family and I love the service preached by John Hannah

Food is to expensive. Drinks are all ice n no beverage. They mix old popcorn with new. The seats are for young people. No adults can fit. Very tight no room to walk in the row . Parking is expensive too. Not worth the trip .The security here is bad. Not very professional. They say no cameras are aloud but people bring them in anyway. Also sodas n snacks too. Can't get to the restrooms when the lines or long for the food court they won't let you cut through to get there.

Held the Lane Tech high school graduation at this facility. Very organized and all seating was perfect. For over 1100 kids they breezed thru the entire program in under 2 hours. Great job to the management for making this a day to remember for many many families.

A bit small. Parking tickets never have dates or timestamp on them. When it pours in inclimate weather, beware bc the venue floods creating a major hazard. At event days when traffic is a mad house, dont be afraid to use all lanes which includes the far left lane when approaching Racine bc they will direct all lanes even the far left one to a parking garage entrance. Staying in right lane would be a huge mistake and headache.

Floor seating is literally floor seating. They sat metal folding chairs on the floor in rows. Could barely see the stage with people in front of me especially when they were standing. Stadium seating is a better option for this arena unless you have floor seating in the first five rows in front of the stage.

I was very disappointed. I had balcony seats for the Mike Epps show in row L all the way at the top. Even though the arena had speakers hanging they were not turned on. So only the people on the floor could hear the comedians. I could not hear the comedians at all. So my point is please make sure your balcony speakers are on at all events.

I wish I could give my experience Zero Stars. I was there last night. They have a bag check for size before you re allowed to enter. They confiscated an expensive bag, and threw it in the garbage. The rudest people on all levels. I m embarrassed to be a U of I alum based on my experience. Don t go there.Ever. Awful venue for a concert. The absolute worst.

The concert I attended here was amazing, but the venue itself left a LOT to be desired. It took three attempts getting in to finally enter due to poor communication. As a guy I don t know that I ve ever had to wait in line for the bathroom (even at NFL games), but here it took like 15 minutes. And the halls were soo overcrowded, there had to be safety violations for the amount of people present.

It's a college campus. If you are a real adult I suggest you completely avoided! But in all seriousness, I wish I had gotten here sometimes. And I'm glad I didn't most times. Forgive my cynicism, but walking these halls as a 'real' adult makes me weep for the future. We need more private schools, we need more schools to make our future tough, to make our future understand far more than Theory. Just one person's opinion, don't crucify me for it. Or do, I don't care.

Visited for Baconfest 2013. Extremely crowded. Would recommend showing up at least an hour prior to scheduled time as there was already a substantial line when we arrived a half hour early. With that said, the food was excellent--if you like bacon, of course. Fellow bacon-lovers, chefs, and hosts were probably among the nicest I encountered in Chicago.

The seats on the ground floor are leftovers from a time when stadiums were designed with the idea nobody in the world had hips.

I'm not saying the place needs exclusively extra wide seating but I know I had a sizable group of plus sized attendees didn't find out until arriving at the venue that the seats were smaller than most airlines.

It was physically impossible to sit between the arms of our assigned seating. We had to stand at the top of the stairs for half the show before a nice staff member directed us to the mostly empty section of balcony above.

And only then, I suspect us being treated with apologetic politeness was because the staff member in question was also someone big enough that they'd be unable to fit in said seats.

There is nothing on SeatGeek or Ticketmaster or the university's website to indicate the width of the seats. Not only is the arena ridiculously out of date with these late 80s seats, there's nothing to indicate they'll not accommodate anyone over a certain size at a venue that distinguishes between reserved seats and general admission.

What would've otherwise been a perfect concert experience was soured by the fear us standing in a certain place would get us yelled at by a random security or staff member and we'd have to re-litigate the situation during a concert we'd driven six hours for.

I went for the NSP concert and it was amazing! Stage crew was great. Only problem I had was with sound. Sitting on the sidelines it was almost impossible to understand anything being said on stage because of how the speakers are angled.

The seats are very small, and there is almost no foot room. If you have hip or knee problems, I do not recommend this arena. My knees were in a lot of pain after sitting in the seats for three hours, and the person I went with had a lot of hip pain at the end of it, and the person I attended with does not have hip issues in general.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything that is easily fixable, it would require a good deal of construction to fix. If you're young and in shape and don't mind standing the whole time or sitting in small chairs with very little room to stretch your legs and standing in long confusing lines, it's adequate. If you're old and not in shape... avoid if you can. It would be worth looking into some ADA compatible seating for people like myself with knee problems.

Also, in the top rows, the speakers block parts of the screen on stage and it's really annoying.

They made my daughter throw away an expensive purse because it was too big. Would have been nice if they told you this requirement when you bought a ticket. Couldnt they have just asked you to open it for inspection.
I wonder who gets all the purses afterwards.

UIC is super fun place to see shows, especially Phish and I was lucky enough to be there for three fun filled nights this past August. Great lot scene across the street from the entrance, and easy access to the Blue line for safe public transit. Very cozy place to see a show, and it feels just like what it is, a college venue with good acoustic and not a bad seat in the house!
