Dr David Smart was so helpful in answering all of my questions and recommending the best options for me without being pushy or trying to sell me treatments and packages like most esthetician places. Everyone was very helpful and polite which was a concern of mine because of previous reviews I read. Overall, I will be coming back for treatments here and I would certainly recommend.
I give these guys an F- for communication. I waited for over a month to be seen by the Dr. for a condition that gets worse during summer months, right now it is the end of July. I took my last personal day at work and made the 1 hour drive up there just to have them tell me the Dr. doesn't perform the particular treatment I wanted! When I called to make my appointment I had the nurse ask the Dr. to make sure they provide the service I wanted. In fact I asked multiple times to be sure. Some offices will do anything to get you to their door. If it is ok for them to charge you for a no show why can't I bill the office a couple hundred bucks for my wasted time today?
Great place seen dr. Luke and they have great views of the mountains.
I took my daughter to Dr Johnson after my pediatrician suggested she go to a dermatologist and he didn't even test for anything. He said she was probably just born that way so to just keep watching it. My pediatrician wouldn't suggest I see a dermatologist if it wasn't anything. It was a waste of time and I'm extremely upset he didn't try to figure out the issue at all. I left and made an appointment with a different dermatologist in the parking lot when we left. I will never be back.
This is my second time coming here for different reasons and I have zero respect for the doctors and staff. The first time I had a skin rash and I told them I wanted to wear shorts for the inspection and the doctor still stretched my shorts and took a look at my bottom.
We saw the PA Nicole Bhermann, because my son had a cyst on his cheek. She turned us away because he was under 18 and we were still charged $151.00 for that "service" she provided. I would never recommend her. Very unprofessional.
So glad we found Dr. Powell! He was so good with our 4 year old-he even showed him a magic trick during each visit!
Went in to have a suspicious mole looked at. The PA I saw said it was fine but found a rough patch on my forehead and froze it. I have no problem with the doctors or the office I just think it is highway robbery to charge $324 for that visit. I was in and out in less than 10 min and they call that surgery.
Erica Summers is a knowledgeable doctor and quality healthcare professional. She takes the time needed with her patients and I would highly recommend her (even though she s usually scheduled out a ways).
Patient to doctor ratio is way over what it should be. I HAVE TO REEXPLAIN myself every visit! They see so many patients I had cleared significantly and they thought that was my starting point! I also Can t get an appointment when I m supposed to have blood work every month because they are so booked and I can t get ahold of doctor to get a lab work request form! Was given a new medicine to start without proper blood work! And I was finally given the doctors assistants number only to be left on read TWICE!! I m over this place.
On 12/17/20 I paid in advance for cosmetic services to be done on 1/7/21. On 12/30/20 I was contacted by a manager and the Jan 7th appointment was cancelled because the doctor had an emergency and wasn't available. I found out the doctor is no longer with the "U" and I requested a refund. They are refusing to refund my money stating that the procedure was actually done on 12/17/20, which is NOT true! Medical fraud if you ask me!
UPDATE: February: The billing office finally understood the situation, profusely apologized and are issuing a full refund. About time, it took me 1 month to get them to understand the situation. I'll be waiting for that check.
UPDATE #2: Today is March 2, 2021. The refund has still not been processed! I filed a complaint with my credit card company and they have issued me a contingent refund and are now attempting to collect from the U of U. I did receive a partial refund check last week in the amount of $800 and the next day a phone call from the Dermatology Billing Office telling me I had no right to cash the check (I have not cashed it) as they have refunded to my credit card company. I contacted my credit card company and they stated they do not have a refund yet.
Bad communication. I was late (I mixed up the appointment time) so I called and asked if that was fine and the receptionist said no problem. I show up less than 10 minutes later and they won t see me because I m late... Glad I took work off!
Super RUDE! The receptionist was so unprofessional when I called to set an appointment. She first told me they were booked 3-4 weeks. Okay, that's fine. I would still like to make an appointment. Then she give me appointment time for 8 weeks out! Being very condensing and aggressive over the phone. Uh, big no thanks. I'll be booking somewhere else.
