Tynan's Volkswagen/Nissan Review

I bought my car as a college graduate from Tynan's, and they worked with what I had to offer to get me into my first car. I haven't been back to this exact location simply due to the distance but after feeling taken advantage of at another VW location, I returned to Tynan's 5 years later where they demonstrated the same level of quality customer service. Every time I leave Tynan's I am grateful for everyone who has assisted me from the sales to service departments.

I dropped my Tourge to get a replacement key for it, then they found that the battery is bad I replaced with the dealer. The car was out of gas and it was been in the dealer shop for few days, I asked them to borrow a tank to fill my Tourge. They did not help me for that. They do not want to help to start so they could run a diagnosis and charge money. Worst dealer non of them are experts, they know how to charge you. I will never come to this dealer.

Andrew Miller assisted me in looking at a VW Tiguan. Andrew had an in depth knowledge of VW and was able to highlight features I hadn t
read about or noticed when looking at other cars. Andrew followed up when it was convienient for me so that I could ask ongoing questions and did not pester me. Would definitely buy a car from Andrew in the future!

At Tynan's Volkswagen I typically work with the service writer Cauther. He is great; very personable, explains things well and makes it easy and efficient to get my prized 2004 VW Golf serviced.

Tynan's is great I have purchased 3 vehicles between the Nissan store and Volkswagen store they always treat you like family I would highly recommend Tynan's to anyone looking for a vehicle

Tynan s dealership was awesome! I was a referral from my sister who had just purchased 2 cars. They Met all my needs in finding a brand new vehicle! Evan Macklin did an excellent job in finding me the perfect vehicle for my family! He is a great asset to there team! Everyone there including the financial department was so friendly and they have great customer service! Would give them 10 stars if I could!

Had a great experience at Tynan's. The staff were quite friendly and knowledgeable. Stephen Nelson, my salesman, treated me well and took his time showing me the car's features.

I have been with Tynans VW for a while and have had good experiences and help while there but recently I had an experience that upset me to my core. I brought my car in to have it checked because I thought it had a nail in the tire. I was told two of my tires were damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced at $600.00. I was shocked when I was told I could still drive on my tires and would be safe. I waited two weeks without driving my car which I pay $900 a month for and then got a quote from Discount Tires which Tynans would not meet because it was to low for the same exact tire. So I brought my Atlas to Discount Tires and was prepared to spend the 380 they quoted me for two tires only to be told my tires were perfectly fine and did NOT need to be replaced. So why did the employee at Tynans tell me I had two unrepairable tires? I trusted these people any they turned out to be corrupt and thives. Had I paid them they would have probably cleaned my current tires and stole my money. I now question every serivce I have had to pay out of pocket for from them. They tried to steal from my children and I'm not cool with that at all after paying off my current vehicle I planned on buying another one from them but now I would not buy a bike from them. They really need to get thier employees in check because one day they are going to steal from the wrong person. It's a shame that people you trust to keep you safe and tell you the truth are nothing but liars to take food from my kids mouths and bill money to put in their own pockets is horrible. Hopefully Mr.Tynans can weed out the bad eggs because if this keeps happening he won't have a company for long.

Our sales person was Edwin and he was great! We went twice for test drive of a 2015 VW Touareg. They didn't pressure us and made us feel comfortable in our purchase. Matt in finance was very nice. It took longer then we thought because we didn't finance but were blessed enough to have the cash to pay for our of pocket. They have me a free oil change because I told Edwin it was my birthday and thought it would be a great way to try out their service department so they gave me the free oil change!! Now I will be using them from now on for service. This actually would be a good way to keep people comming back to the dealership for their servicing needs.

You definitely get the pushy salesman! I explained over 1 million times I wasn t ready to buy a car until November. They just wanted the car off the lot. They wasted my time. I will not purchase a vehicle from Volkswagen ever not just here... I mean as a whole. One jerk the finance guy said you re even getting a better deal than my daughter. I m glad I didn t buy a car from them. They give you this nice little price then when you get to finance they explain the taxes . Absolute trash.

Edit for their response, there was no miscommunication at all. I went back after buying new tires and they told me that they do not sell the lug keys at all anymore and people are not allowed to rent them. The only solution from them was to depend on them any time you get a flat tire. Instead I just bought 4 new lugs and had them remove the proprietary POS lugs with "security" locks. If you have those security lugs I highly recommend removing them because if you lose the key your up the creek with no paddle.

Same experience as other reviews looking to rent a lug key to change a flat, the guy at the front straight up lied and said all the service guys had went home when I could clearly see them in the back. I told them I just needed to borrow the key for a bit and would leave my I'd or keys or whatever they needed for the 10 min it would take me to change my flat. They refused to help so I left and checked around a couple other places. Failing and desperate I went back and just asked the guys in the service department if I could please borrow the lug key. Eventually someone who wasn't a soulless person came and agrees to help. They didn't actually let me use the key they just popped the one lug and went back inside. After getting the rest of the bolts on I had to go back and ask again for the key and was hassled again by the liar from the front. Service guys were awesome but the short guy up front is a liar and only interested in taking money from people who don't know any better when confronted with a snake like himself. Go somewhere else I'd you're looking to be treated right.

I just purchased a brand new 2017 VW Passat on 3-31-17. I must say this was one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Steven the General manager and Lirim the sales associate were amazing in making sure I got the perfect car for the perfect price. They did everything they could to meet my needs. Thanks for going above and beyond to make this such a great car buying experience.

While very helpful to get me in a vehicle, post purchase experience has been so/so. Did not receive some of my paperwork and have not received any after market warranty information for the plan I purchased. Realized today that no emission paperwork was sent and their response was to come by... I live an 1-1/2 -2. Paying out of pocket for emissions I guess.

Wow marketing sucks. This place "Tynan's" will get your email then some third party vendor will spam the heck out of you. The only way to unsubscribe is to mail a letter to the place asking them to stop sending emails. I do not own a Nissan anymore. I hope they fire these idiots that do their marketing. The company is Maritz out of Fenton MO. Hello----most companies have an unsubscribe link attached to all emails. I will post this everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

STAY AWAY. we bought a brand new 2020 VW Tiguan in June they called us the next day and they said they sold us a car that belongs to service and we need to go back and pick up another car with same options. we bought the car and we rarely drive it due to working from home after 3 month the car started to smoke and make weird noise we took it back to service and they kept it for 2 weeks. they changed the compressor and tensioner and called e to tell me my car was ready. i went to pick up my car and it died right in their parking lot. service tech told me he is not even sure what's wrong with this car anymore. i talked to sales manager and he said there is nothing they can do and they gave me VW customer service number to deal with and they accepted no responsibility.

Had an oil change done. When I got the car back the check engine lights and other sensors turned on. The shop representative reported the couldn't diagnos it because it wasn't a VW. They told me to take it to an audi dealer. I took the car home and checked the connections and found it just to be the air sensor connection for the intake not placed back. I turned the car back on and all sensors and check engine light turned off. Then I tried replacing the air filter the same day and the screws were stripped. They amended this problem replacing the air filter. Then they offered to give me a free car detail but I opted for an alignment. The manager said it was ok. After the alignment was done they told me they did the best to align the car but it still would pull to the right and the proceeded to charge me. I told them I thought it was free they denied having the discussion. I recently had the alignment checked again by brakes plus after a few months of believing the alignment couldn't be corrected. To my surprise brakes plus corrected the alignment and now the car does not pull.

Great service from the top down. Really enjoyed our experience buying our new car here and we look forward to coming back.

This is the only dealership I will ever buy a car from and get my car serviced. Never owning a VW before Tom and the service department have answered any questions I ever had while making sure my car is taken care of. It was the easiest buying experience I ve ever had. There was no pressure, and I got introduced to everyone in that dealership the day I bought my car. I ve been back to look and even test drive a car. It is an amazing team that will take their time with you! Keep up the good work!

Tynan's always does a good job. I've been going there for over 4 years now with two different vehicles. Sure, prices sometimes hurt but that's just cars in general. But they do take the time to make sure everything is taken care of.

Customer service was above and beyond! I ended up with a nail in my brand new car, 48 hours after purchase, and was pretty devastated. Xsavier and David in the service department were incredibly empathetic, and made sure I was taken care of! Huge shout out and thanks to both of them!

Service department isn't the friendliest , express guys are super nice though. The other staff definitely acts like they don't need or want your business. I'm glad my lease is up this year i don't think id want to be tied to this service team for 3 years.

Originally went to this dealership to trade in my husband's 2005 Jetta for a 2017 Tiguan. They were able to get him a fabulous lease, so we decided to try to trade in my 2009 BMW for another Tiguan. I was pretty far upside down on my vehicle, but Liram and the finance manager (can't recall his name, but he was fantastic) went above and beyond to get me the most money for my trade and a lease payment that was comparable to my previous car payment. They even went to an outside dealer to get the exact car I wanted. Amazing customer service and super friendly salespeople and finance department. Will definitely be shopping here again in the future!
