The triple double burger plus garlic fries were amazing. Small but quality beer selection. I got the IPA. It was a tough free sample between their IPA and Karl Strauss. Customer service was good and overall an amazing experience for your palate and company. Only issue bottom part of the bun fell apart but the taste was still lusciously delicious. I would recommend for sure.

Back-in-the-day restaurant with interesting decor. Decent American food with old school malts and more.

The pictures on the walls take you back to 1950 and check out the old menus, it's kind of nifty.

The service here has always been great, at least to my liking. The servers and managers always seem to be very considerate and attentive of their customers. The menu here varys from your typical breakfast platter to your desirable dinner dish. Their prices are fair and the feeling of a cozy dinner completes this place to give it a 5 star review from me, of course, you'd have to come give it a try.

Since 1943 Twohey's has made the best bittersweet hot fudge sundaes in the Los Angeles area. Their all-you-can-eat baby back ribs special is also a delight.

A little on the pricey side, nonetheless it's very good. I love the monte cristo with garlic fries.. It may have been removed from the menu but I believe you can still order it. ;)

Had a great lunch. Waiter was nice. Lunch came quickly which was nice since I was on a short work break.

Growing up in the area I've been going here so ce it was a car hop. Since moving to Whittier my visits are few a far in between but it'sike coming home to an old friend for food and excellent service.

Absolutely LOVE this place!! Many many previous visits. Sadly they are moving even further from me (I drive an hour JUST to here!!)
Don't forget to get the semisweet hot fudge Sunday.

Always get good service, and timely seating. They got tvs showing games in their big room. Cozy feel and if the food sucks you can always walk right over to In N Out.

This place is a treasure. A throw back to an earlier small town vibe. The menu is large and contains all of the American favorites. The burgers are well known. Go before they move from their longtime home.

Excellent service & friendly staff. I enjoy their food esp their burgers & garlic fries. Speaking to the manager, I learned the So Pas Twoheys will open March 2019.

Visited because we had heard that they had lost their lease. Food was as good as in the past.
Heard later that they were on a month to month until they relocate.

This WILL be a great restaurant, once Twohey's gets moving from its former congested location at Atlantic and Huntington Drive to its new location in South Pas on South Fair Oaks Avenue. Come on, Twohey's! Can't wait to see you again! :)

Classic and auhtentic old time family diner ambience, good food. Hope they can be this good, or better, in their new location in Pasadena.

Recently moved nearby and had seen the food truck on Localish, so we wanted to give the brick-and-mortar Twoheys a try. We started with cocktails and buffalo chicken wings. The cocktails were decent, though the whiskey list is a bit limited. The wings were excellent--perfectly fried, and I'm not sure if they're making their own buffalo sauce or if it's bottled, but I really liked it. Not crazy hot, but had a kick with some excellent flavors to go along with that--not your average buffalo sauce. Then for mains we ordered the everything burger, and the fried chicken plate. I added a bowl of the cheesy potato soup to my fried chicken, and I was really glad I did--super creamy and delicious soup, this was one of my favorite items. The burger was very flavorful with plenty of veggies. The fried chicken I'd say was good, not great. Again, perfectly fried, with super crispy skin and the meat inside still moist but definitely fully cooked. But the breading on the chicken was a bit bland, definitely lacking salt and in my opinion a little heat. The mashed potatoes were just OK--a little bit clumpy/paste-like. The spinach was AW-FUL. Like, zero flavor. Where is the salt at y'all???

Overall I'd say our experience at Twoheys was about the same as how we felt about the fried chicken plate: good, but not great. Especially when you consider the prices--I didn't feel like I got a great value for what I paid, the prices seem a little high for the flavor/quality you end up getting, but we do intend to come back and try other menu items--maybe we didn't order one of their "home run" dishes!

Best place to grab some food when in a hurry. Their customer service is rapid, pricing is fair, excellent mood. Will come visit again

Great staff and homey atmosphere. Food was good but a bit pricey. Has a cool, local neighborhood feel to it. Struck up some great conversations with the locals in the restaurant.

It has a great nostalgic feel and the staff is very friendly. The food is very good and I especially like the Patty melt and the French toast.

Incredible onion rings and the Monte Cristo is delicious. Leave room if you care to enjoy a superb hot fudge sundae.

Is it the best diner evah? Probably not. But it is one that many of us in the Alhambra/south Pasadena /San Marino area grew up with and have shared with family and friends over and over.

Go try while you have a chance

Good diner. Decent menu options for breakfast and lunch. Parking is a hassle.

They have an eat in your car option. You call ahead and order. Drive there and park in one of the six designated spots. Call back and tell them which one you parked in. They bring your food and clip it on your window. Note - they have a revised covid menu so be sure to check their website for official food options (we both had in mind sandwiches that weren't available).

Can't go wrong with a bagel and home fries. Such a shame they are going to close soon.

Service is decent. Food is good, a little pricey, but a rather good selection of American/diner eats. The waffles in the chicken and waffles were really good, I think it was the honey they either cook in or put on top, really brightens the flavor. I wish they had been more crispy though. The chicken was kind of bland and dry though.

Not closing after all. Moving to new location in So. Pasadena.
Closing after 75 years. Too bad. Gonna miss their Curry Chowder! Thanks Twohey's!

Well, I'm not surprised that this place is going to close soon next year.

It started going downhill since 2012, and it just got worse and worse. Higher prices, lower quality of food, drastic changes to the menu where they foolishly removed some key dishes from the menu, bad service, unpleasant staff, and the horrible job they did renovating the place...I hated losing the privacy that the old booths provided.

The last time that we ate here, our food was awful. The waiter had sleeve tattoos that he tried to hide under dark sleeves, yet he did nothing to hide his sour attitude. The manager(s) are hateful and incompetent, they fought with their staff in front of the customers.

Our food was awful, and undercooked. The waiting is ridiculous, and inconsistent. You could be forced to wait 30 minutes for a table when the place isn't even crowded, let alone half full, yet someone with no reservations can just walk in behind you and get a seat in no time.

Good riddance to this place.

Good diner with friendly staff. This place has plenty of seating inside. The place got redone inside not too long ago. Clean with plenty of natural light, great prices. They have designated parking spots but parking is sometimes difficult to find since they share a parking lot with an In n Out.

Very good food and service. It's a little pricey but well worth it. They have a good selection of items to choose from. Twohey's is a historical restaurant that has been in the same location for 75 years. Just one thing wrong here is the parking lot is small and they share it with In n Out burgers. They have plenty of comfort food and delicious deserts.

75yr Anniversary, place hopping til 12am on Saturdays. Yummy desserts. Excellent clean bathrooms.

This was my first visit since the relocation. It was great! Very nice setup, friendly staff, proper COVID procedure. GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS! I recommend the calamari and Red Car. Definitely will return.

I remember when you could order the short rib plate during the week and you felt you were getting the best "homemade" meal in the house!

Very good atmosphere. The food was delicious and I like the idea of being able to eat out but in your car. Like an upscale Sonic's. Overall I enjoyed all the food I wish I would have taken a picture of it but I'm sure anything you choose from here will be great.

This has been around for a long time. Been going here for many years. The offer a good breakfast and lunch. It is a good looking building and many come just for their excellent dessert. Typical diner food with a push towards very good. I like it.

It's a decent restaurant to eat. They have regular American food with decent prices. They do a throwback to the 50s style look of the restaurant. The place is dilapidated because their lease is almost over. But give it a try before they're gone because it's been there for several decades and you could always say you went to the original
