Such a wonderful hotel. Staff was helpful and professional and friendly at all times. I stayed and dined at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and rather luxurious with a lovely balcony over looking the pool. Food was delicious in the bar, restaurant and in room dining. Security was wonderful, felt very safe which was why I came to this hotel as I stayed at the mount nelson in Cape Town and ended up getting robbed at that hotel so at the 12 Apostles I was very safe. Views are lovely from the hotel. Everything was perfect.

My daughter had a voucher for a manicure - she enjoyed the pamper but the nail polish colour came out different to expectation (might have been a difference in lighting....) and they filed her discreet nails to her fingertips. Because she had the mask over her eyes, she only noticed when it was too late and the next lady was on her way in....
She kept her hands completely safe without touching anything for over an hour .... and then, 3 hours later after her shower, the nail polish started peeling....

Seriously disappointed with this hotel. Apparently 5 stars but service was terrible and overbearing at the same time. Sheet didn't fit mattress properly. Broken blind in room and dirty towel in bathroom. Would not recommend.

One of the best hotels and spas I ve ever visited.

Great and friendly service - everyone seemed to really go out of their way to make my stay comfortable
Clean rooms - immaculate spaces
Lovely ambiance - has a homely feeling with great art pieces on the walls and beautiful scenery
Good food and things to experience - i.e. sundowners @ The Leopard Bar, amazing sunsets over the ocean, in-house movie theatre, gin making experience, high tea, spa service, etc.

I felt like I was home away from home and didn t want to leave.

I was really looking forward to our planned sunset drink at 12 Apostles with a colleague, as I have not been there since some years.

Before going to the Leopard Bar we admired the moon and the lofty mountains right above us during a lovely walk-about behind the hotel, discovering two well-kept mountain trails.

Everything was as I remembered. The city lights were bright in the distance, the sea moody and the sky brooding with dark clouds. Best by far, as we sat down outside on the patio Louse Day started her set with my all-time favourite song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran.

As a parting Ivans ordered an old fashioned whisky sour in honour of a wonderful evening we spent with other colleagues a few weeks earlier. It did not look the same. It was a bowl of ice cubes. You could not even see the whisky. He asked me to taste. It did not taste the same. It was watered down, simple with no sour. Is this not supposed to be a standard drink? He was disappointed. Not a good send-off for someone departing for Moscow.

All in all though, a lovely evening with a sour note at the end.

The last place we have stayed in our 14 days adventure in South Africa was The 12 Apostles which was one of the bests. From the moment you check in, you feel extremely pampered by the staff which is incredibly nice and welcoming. I loved our big room which was coloured in white and blue tones, totally relaxing. The Azur restaurant reminded me of Cannes and Monte Carlo s retro vibe, where they have really amazing views and flavours combined together. But my favourite part of the hotel was the pool one and part of their amazing garden from where you would have the best view to the Lion s Head. It was spectacular during sunset.

Really recommend to spend at least 2 magical nights here while in South Africa!

Exceptional! Just what you would expect from such a highly rated establishment. No in everyone's price bracket, I'm sure, but as a special treat, it really is an awesome experience. The staff are simply amazing and make you feel very happy about how much things cost.
