The hotel was not up to my standards. I checked out after 1 night. In my opinion this hotel is not suitable for the elderly and people with bad knees as you need to use stairs to reach some areas within the hotel, if you are claustrophobic this hotel is not for you as their corridors are narrow with low ceilings all around. if you are a light- sleeper like me then you will be easily disturbed as walls and doors lack sound proofing and as you see in the photo no curtains or blinds on the windows so the sunlight was getting into the room through the wooden sliding doors.

After snorkeling and exploring the gorgeous coastline of Cape Town, we decided we needed a coffee fix while trekking in our tracksuits and towels, and looking very much like we had stepped out from the sea.

The 12 Apostles team took us in their stride, and the service was impeccable.

We had managed to scoop a table, even though pre-booking is necessary at this luxury establishment, due to Covid-19 pandemic regulations.

We managed to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and freshly-baked croissants that day, outside on the hotels terrace, and overlooking a panoramic view of the ocean. This visit was blissful!

This review is focused only on the Spa as I have not stayed at the hotel nor eaten there. I found the Spa to be small and quite dingy . The decor is dated and the changing rooms and waiting areas not to the standard I would expect from a Spa charging top end prices. The jacuzzi and pool areas are small and can be crowded. The therapists are friendly but the standard of the massage was not at the level I would have liked. Quite underwhelming for what is supposed to be one of the best places to go for a massage and charging prices which should reflect a super luxury environment and standard of massage.

Amazing people that makes the establishment feel even more special.
Much appreciative of Noxie and her staff qt the Leopard bar for pulling of our engagement proposal.
Noxie was very calm and quickly assisted me to make this moment very special for us.

She also took some nice memories for this event that will be treasured forever.

Thank you 12 Apostles and Noxie for being awesome.
Much appreciated.
Happy New Year @2019

Wasted half a day on arrival to get a better room. Classic rooms has no views and was told all of them are the same. The hotel tried to sell me a different room with much higher rate at the beginning. service at the restaurants and food is not thatgreat. Gym is very small but the hotel provide access to a local gym which wasn't convenient.
The hotel is part of the WLH and that was the reason I stayed here with higher expectations but never again.

This is such a luxurious spa. The spa staff are so friendly and professional. Their facilities are top class. This is an ideal escape if you are in need of pampering and need to restore body and mind. You are guaranteed to leave feeling like a new person

Didn t have a great experience here. I was not staying at the hotel but my daughter and I decided to have lunch at the Cafe. As soon as our waitress realized we were not foreigners who would tip her with dollars, her attitude changed. Treat your local guests with as much enthusiasm as your foreign guests.

Brilliant buffet with stunning views and impeccable service. The quality of the food is top class but it does come at a price. R300 rand a head may not be super value. But if you want to #treatyoself then it is worth a visit. Smokers have to trek out to the car park where you feel somewhat shameful.

excellent setting and good service. Had lunch on Easter Monday. Started with drinks in tbe Leopard Bar then had lunch at Azure.I had the fillet steak and my wife had the prawn stroganoff. Both were very tasty and my steak was done perfectly. The prices for lunch did not leave a bad taste in the mouth, like other establishments in wineland that charge an arm and a leg in these difficult economic times

The sunset experience was not worth It! The lady said that there was no tablet available outside and she couldn't see when someone is leaving. But, when the same question was made by the table next to us she said she could arrange a table outside as soon as possible...

Historical hotel and world class spa. The perfect place to spend any day. Beautifully located on the sea front, it is important to note that there is a road between the hotel and the ocean.

Solid hotel, nice and reliable service, lovingly equipped rooms, great breakfast buffet, delicious cocktails, great support in planning local activities by the staff at the front desk. We were completely satisfied and would book again at any time. Thank you for the super nice stay at all the helpful angels of the hotel.

In it s day the hotel may have been lovely but I found most areas outdated, dingy, and the air quality poor. If you have breathing problems avoid. I would never recommend it.I teach Culinary and the food is nothing to rave about. Avoid any room other than sea view. Hotel is very isolated. Stay in Cape Town or in Camps Bay where there is some life. Staff were lovely.
