From the moment we pulled up the experience was great. The resort, the activities and the food all great. However the staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have a great time. Much needed getaway will be back..

Gorgeous location. They have renovated/updated the tower rooms. Customer service from housekeeping and service staff was great. I started for business, but would consider coming back for leisure - the pool areas look great!

Great golf course , great dining ,great area, and nice swimming pools. The downside was it was not on the beach and you had to take a 10 minute shuttle to their beach club. But at all places the staff was great when I stayed here last summer. Oh they need to update their rooms a little.

I stayed at the property for a conference. As I was about to leave, my flight was cancelled to get back home. I had already checked out, but they re-checked me back into my room. When I went to check out the following day, I noticed my Beats headphones were missing. When I checked out again, I asked the front desk if housekeeping had turned them in from the day before. He indicated nothing was found/returned. When I got home, I called the hotel to report a stolen item. When security checked internally, she found that my headphones had been turned in the day before and were in the safe. I asked that they be returned to me. She sent me through a service that charged me $25 to get my headphones back. All the front desk person had to do was go a little bit further in his service and I would have had my headphones for my flight home and $25 in my pocket. I could see if this was a Super 8, but this is the JW Marriott! I travel a fair amount (I'm no road warrior!) and I always try to stay at Marriott properties. Maybe I need to look at Hilton . . .

Most of the staff was rude, especially Miriam (she answered the phone when we called from the room). Concierge was rude and not helpful. Front desk agent Alexis was wonderful and upgraded my room (Gold status) and our bellhop was nice and helpful.

It was excellent went with the kids and they enjoyed it the whole time. The waterpark was amazing a great attraction and even the restaurants inside a beautiful and the food tasted Devine. The staff are so friendly always accommodating and asking if you need anything. Beautiful golf course views. Not to mention the breakfast it made my mouth water it was so scrumptious. Highly highly recommended I will definitely be coming back.

This is an impeccable facility by JW Marriott. This is large resort and spa facility that is eco-friendly. Several stylish restaurants are on site as well as boutiques. My favorite space is the pool surrounded by the evening moonlight -serene and peaceful. The facility spans several blocks with activities for all ages. This is an upscale facility with decor of the rich and famous. Several miles away enjoy the sandy beaches of Miami. Super Bowl LIV will be in Miami and this is an amazing place when not enjoying the Super Bowl experiences.

We were here for a combination work/vacation. First we were put in a wing with families whose kids were treating the place like a playground, screaming in the hallways, etc. After 2 days of this, we asked to be moved. We were moved to an ok room, but no compensation was offered - - no dinner, bottle of wine. The grounds are ok, but faded glory for sure. Breakfast service doesn't begin until 9am, quite late.

4th of July celebration went down the hill. Huge line to check in with only one person at the table. Junk food for $120 + $30 valet parking and you need to wait for 30 minutes to get your car in this 90 degree heat. Bye-bye Turnberry Resort.

Very nice resort and the kids enjoyed the Tidal Cove Water park (so did I) except the food and drinks were a little on the expensive side. Pizza was thin with hardly any flavor. It was definitely not worth $57 for a 16" cheese pizza and a pitcher of Sprite... Would have rated my stay 5 stars anyways except for having to clean the tub myself before using it due to hair left behind everywhere around the tub. And snack wrappers found left on the side of the bed. As well as not being informed of the additional resort fees and self parking fees prior to completing the reservation even though fees are understandable.

I only came here to participate in a brief panel discussion for a mayoral event. My total time here was maybe 90 minutes but in the short time I was here I knew I would come back to stay. As a 'Marriott Guy' I wasn't aware until I got here, that it was a Marriott property. It's beautiful. Granted, I was visiting while they were in the middle of some renovation and there was considerable construction happening in the front of the hotel which was initially distracting. However, once I got inside things quickly changed. The main restaurant is really spectacular and the staff was fantastic. I had lunch which was very good considering it was catered. I can only imagine the individual plates are as good or better. I took some time to walk the property and it's really, really nice. This is one spot I'll definitely keep in mind next time I'm in the area.

They allowed smoking at outdoor dining areas and at the pool. There was so much cigar smoke being blown in our faces at meals by oblivious guests. The hotel supports an inhospitable atmosphere for the non smoking patron.

We had a very poor stay at the Turnberry Isle property - it really left me with a bad taste in my mouth towards Marriott and questioning why I have been a gold member (over 50 nights per year) or the past five years.
My wife and I took our nine month old daughter to Turnberry Isle for a seven night vacation. The service and value at this property really seemed to be lacking compared to other properties we have stayed at. We had terrible service at the pool, room service food had plastic in it, management was nowhere to be found when we tried to report the issues. Our bill had extra charges on it. We tried to arrange a later check-out (2pm vs the regular 12pm check-out - late check-out is supposed to be one of the benefits of being a gold member) and were told that it couldn't be done because the hotel was fully booked and could only offer us 12:30pm. When I pushed this issue, they told me we could stay until 2pm, but they were going to charge us for a half days stay......hang on, I thought you were fully booked and needed us out of our room for the next guest?!? Odd that they can make room for us if we give them more money, but not without. My recommendation would be to avoid this property.

Friendly staff, clean pretty rooms. The walls are thin, because I could hear everything. Excellent bathroom in the junior suite. Water park is worth it, when included in room rate. You can go to the park two days for a one night stay. Peaceful staycation spot.

Beware of the min bar fridge SCAM and of the unbearable construction noise, dirt and dust everywhere.
In room dining manager, Rocha , told me it was my fault for having used the mini bar fridge for storage of my sons milk. In fact, He said I crated a liability for the hotel by storing my son s almond milk in his mini bar fridge which is NOT for personal use. He says I should ve know this and should ve read It on the mini bard fridge menu. Thus, he needed to charge me $19/day for personal use of the mini bar fridge. Being a frequent and avid business traveler, I ve never heard of such a thing.

Sadly, I walked away extremely disappointed after having spent 10 days and thousands of Dollars. It s a great place for families and businesses conference, but I will never go back and be scammed in such a way. The manager has no understating of the potential lifetime value of a client and thus fue to policy and lack of business knowledge was willing to lose a happy and returning customer for $80 over the most ridiculous conversation about a mini bar fridge which was in my room but was not for my personal use.
