Beautiful resort appearance, very grand but the service is not up to par. The customer service was not that of a 4 star hotel but more of a motel 6 because at that price point a guest should not have to wait 10 or more minutes to get someone at the front desk to answer the phone and then not receive what you requested. The hotel doesn't provide housekeeping until your 4th day not every third day. So with three people going to the water park each day you need lots of towels to bathe. We requested all size towels, extra pillows, guest sanitation amenities, and bathroom tissue between 6pm and 7pm. They didn't bring all requested items after calling twice. In the middle of the night I called because there was no bathroom tissue and I was told I could come to the front desk and get it or wait until 6am when someone arrived and could bring it to me. What? I was to leave my room and the building go outside and walk to the main lobby building to get bathroom tissue I requested several hours earlier. I HAD TO CALL THE CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE. They called the resort and the a bag with 5 rolls of bathroom tissue was placed on my door handle. This behavior is unacceptable for such a supposedly high end resort. Is this extravagant resort under staffed or poorly managed and guest have to take care of their own needs and pay a resort fee? Short staff at the water park because you have to go find someone to give you the towels. No social distancing at the water park. Food prices were outrageous for snacks and meals with low quality. Frozen drinks (2) $15, nachos $18, jerk chicken quesadilla $16, soda $5 total $87.63. Old saying you get what you pay for; not the case here. Over priced and under serviced. I certainly hope all guest were not treated the way we were. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to mediocre service and food versus cost.

Do not stay here for another year at least! That is unless you want to be woken up to loud construction noises that last through the day, and with virtually no amenities until the construction ends. I couldn't even sit by the small pool due to the building a few feet away. The room was outdated, and they wouldn't even give a bottle of water! I had to go to the bar where they charged me $20 for a water and a diet coke!! And this is with gold membership! There is no lobby, and we were checked in at an outside desk. Felt like I was at an airport. The email I received when I complained made me decide that I don't want to go back even once renovated.

The in-place for Aventura residents and visitors, a cornucopia of activities - golf course, restaurants, phenomenal spa- AME, proximity to Aventura Mall and Starbucks. Alluring ambience, but a trifle busy especially with valet parking.

Disgust is the feeling of staying at the resort. Poor customer service. Also bugs were in the bed. No help to move us to another room. Not the service expected from this resort. We moved to another Hotel upon being very dissatisfied here and no one seemed to care and follow up. Would not put my family through this.

Nice place with wonderful grounds with friendly, attentive staff. Food was a little expensive and nothing good for a 'snack' (after 22 hours of being awake and travelling, a fancy meal for what would be our 4th meal of the day due to the time difference wasn't appealing) but there's was a mall just up the street which was very helpful.

Very nice hotel in Aventura with large rooms and nice suites, really friendly staff and nice restaurants on property. The large pool has a nice slide and even a lazy river. Golf courses are nice but quite pricey.

It's a very nice and clean hotel. We love it. Because of the virus the restaurants and Spa are not open on every day. That's little sad, because they are looking amazing. But the hotel is beautiful as well, the staff friendly and helpful und the starbucks shop at the hotel and the restaurant in tidal cove waterpark is very delicious. The waterpark is beautiful, very clean and everything has a good quality. Hope we can come again. The view to the golfcourse is amazing! You can see the sunrise. We love it! For kids it's good in the waterpark. A playground or playroom for kids is missing. But they have a kids Spa. Big thanks to Igor and Ricardo. They are very helpful and very friendly.

Definitely from the beautiful entrance to the well-appointed lobby...TOP NOTCH experience from arrival to departure. The resort is located across the street from the beautiful Aventura Mall. Plenty of fine shopping options to explore (Fendi, Louis Vuitton, etc). There s a Starbucks onsite along with the well renown Bourbon Steak restaurant by Michael Mina. There s a water park onsite (Tidal Cove), Ame Spa and a Championship Golf Course. A must stay if you find yourself in Aventura, Florida (situated conveniently between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale).

Absolute top hotel with everything you could wish for, pool breakfast sun palm trees and a doorman of extra class. Incidentally, a new Waterworld is being built which makes the hotel even more attractive.

As a 5 stars hotel & resort the services they are ...

As a 5 stars hotel & resort the services they are offering is for a motel! You need to beg for towels water of bottle & every time I need the room to get clean I had to call them! The valet parking takes 30 minutes to get ur car & they charge 40$ per night ! We stayed from July 16th to the 20th. For sure breakfast was not included and costed us 325$ per night for a double bedroom. The only advantage thing they have is the water park my son had so much fun & thank god for the Starbucks at the hotel! Plus they need to train the staff how to speak to the residence my husband called to make a complaint about the trim service the lady on the phone told him I know we are receiving a lot of complains about the room service ! She didn t even apologize! At the checkout they didn t even ask how was our stay ! Very bad experience I ve to so many hotels around the world in my life but nothing like this one !

I am a person who does not like to make complaints but this time is definitely necessary ... why? ... because I am completely disappointed in the administration of this hotel, this happened a week ago I forgot to comment, initially my wife and I plan to stay Saturday night but in the end we changed the reservation for Sunday and changed the room for a 2-bed since we decided to bring my mother-in-law with us, until there everything went fine we called the hotel a girl took care of us and we changed the date and the room as we requested it, the day of check-in my wife arrived, my daughter and I stayed and everything went very well there, I paid what I had to pay for the room almost 500 $ 466 $ to be exact, To get to the room we realized that we had a room with 1 single bed for 3 adults and a baby ... my wife and I went very kindly to the reception and we talked with the girl, the first thing they said was that they would charge us one 00 $ more then 75 $ once again we explained that the reservation was for a room with 2 beds we were 4 people impossible to be in one bed all 4, well the manager michelle was right next to us and the girl came and went was there where I asked to talk to her after the girl came and went several times. Once again I explain to michelle the situation and I ask him about how it is possible that they allan changed the date and not the room when that was the first thing that we requested via telephone since we came more than 2 perosnas ... I asked myself so that I called and spoke for more than 5 min with someone from the hotel and in the end I did not do what I requested ... michelle's response was rude and direct I gave him what you asked for ... my wife and I answered we called and talked with you and that was not what we asked at that moment we showed you the record of the call and the message that the hotel sent me when the reservation was made ... did not want to see it .. there she tells us in a derogatory way that the echo of that we would have called and talked with them is not a guarantee that we will get the room ... no? So why call us? So there is a call center? What is telephony for? at that moment I told her very respectfully that like her I am a manager and the managers always found a way to solve and avoid customers leaving us upset, that we were there we had driven for 1 hour and we did not want to leave but if I was not going to solve it because I canceled the reservation and I returned home since I did not see any intention to help us, to my surprise your answer was immediately if canceled! Apparently the best way for her to get out of the situation was that .. I really do not think so ... Michelle never offered an apology for the mistake of not being able to take a call well, to generate discomfort for a family or for the simple We are super disappointed with your quality of manager ... the managers always find the way to solve problems .. I told you that day !! ah we also told you that it was not about money because the $ 100 or $ 75 we could have paid without problem ... if we had already paid almost $ 500 $ 100 more it was the least, it is the customer service that we were requesting and what we were demanding. The saddest thing is that he never offered an apology for the inconvenience or showed the minimum desire to help us and that leaves a lot to think of a hotel in that category and that has such nice facilities was not hurt to not have been able to enjoy them .. As I said at the beginning this happened a week ago, my wife placed the review and they responded very kindly on behalf of Jesmarie Perez and they leave a phone call for you to talk about what happened and clarify the situation, my wife has called already on three occasions and they never communicate it or apparently it is never in their place of work.

I am Argentina and was in the Mall of Adventure and they told us that there was a shooter, we went running and went to the hotel, an incredible hospitality, everyone treated us very well, they restrained us and especially my thanks to Mrs. Sheila, again, thank you very much .

Staff are great! They could do better with cleanliness. The hall way to my room has on off putting oder. Pool is nice and so is most of the scenery, except for the construction that still going on with parts of the hotel.

The hotel is in a very nice location but the hotel itself is outdated and under developed . The people and employees are not very personable managers included. The service is just ok. The restaurant carry big names but nothing to show for it in terms of service and experience. The food is ok but nothing exciting. I don't ever plan on going back.

Turnberry Isles Golf Course has poor security. My family lives in a community on the golf course and there have been break-ins as well as a car stolen. I've tried reaching out to security but they have not been responsive. All it takes is having their security make rounds on the golf course. Seems like anyone can trespass their property!

Not impressed with front desk. large stain on carpet in very large and nice room.
overall poor experience with check in and out after waiting 15 min to check in.

There was blood on one of the towels when we arrived. The air conditioning didn t work we woke up in a horrible sweat at 3am and balcony doors were not opened. There was no water pressure in the shower. Now once into tidal cove every time we went to go down a slide it was being tested. Also they don t tell you check in is at 4pm BUT tidal cove the water park closes at 6pm. So NOT worth it. Also there Marriott pool closes at 8. So nothing else to do there. Was absolutely awful and I m extremely disappointed. Especially being I ve stayed at the diplomat hotel in Fort Lauderdale and went back 2 times. I stayed at the grand beach hotel on Collins and have gone back there. I ve never been so disappointed!!!!!! Don t waste your money

I loved the spa experience however I'm giving this rate because you need to beware of your belongings because they STEAL there! And the lost and found is useless because your items will not be reported ! I am so upset and depressed that this has happened to me I had to make a police report which is pointless because I know I'll never get my $225 MK watch back. I was also told that on your valet ticket there was a disclaimer that says they are not responsible for any damaged goods or stolen items. First and last time I'm stepping foot over there !

Beautiful hotel and scenery, horrible and inefficient service. I stayed at this hotel the summer of 2019 and O attributed a lot of the misfortunes to the fact that they had just opened. Staying here again August 2020 and it seems not much has changed. Check in is at 4pm, arrived at noon, hit up the water park and wanted to check in by 5pm. lol and behold the room was still not ready. Told us they would need at least another hour because of a COVID deep clean . No solution, even when we told them we d be missing our dinner reservations. Again, things happen, and I can maybe appreciate the deep clean due to COVID, but also find it less than believable they re maxed to capacity in the middle of a pandemic and for the price we are paying, it s an awful lot to let slide . Make sure you are prepared to wait for valet because that s another 12 hour tour. A beautiful place, decent water park, but just not worth the trouble. Worth the drive to make it to disney or an islands of adventure. For a JW Marriot, this place is a joke!

Great vacation property. Just wish it was on the beach. The restaurants on site are pretty good, and the rooms are very large with gorgeous bathrooms. I had a bit of an issue with the bathroom not being clean when I arrived but management worked with me to resolve.

Hotel property and amenities I would give 5 stars. At check in I asked if my room was feather free and the lady said yes. So left everything in the room and went to the pool. At the Tidal Cove i ordered food and the waitress brought one plate with great timing and the other took more than 80 minutes. She kept me waiting for my food for so long that already was not in the best mood. Later my son is fainting because the heat was crazy and we asked for Gatorade and told us that they don sell it (you should, is Florida and is really hot during summer) so we asked for apple juice and never came. Later we go upstairs to the room to sleep them and my kids starts sneezing so checked the pillows and they were all feathers. I decided to go downstairs to the lobby to let know the manager about his poor service during my day and never came out that he was doing something so this is why I decided to write it. I hope a manager can see all what they did wrong. A nice gentleman by the name of Tyler later helped me and brought some feather free pillows for my kids.

I had to go down because everything you order thru the phone never gets there. I ordered a crib 3 times, shampoo, and towels and never got them.

It is sad that a JW has to offer such a pretty bad service.

As far as beauty and luxury, incredible experience! The rates are not too bad, considering it is a luxury Resort. The only thing that is upsetting is they tack on an additional $200 per night charge/hold on to the room but they claim it goes right back on the card after a day or so.

The water park and the hotel was amazing no doubt about it! But there was a major mosquito issue both at the park and at the water park. I would recommend fumigating or putting on bug spray before going in the water!! I am allergic to bugs and unfortunately, my face became swollen.. but other than that the service and the park it s self was an amazing experience!
