Fantastic Staycation, all family had a great time, pool, Lazy river, Amenities, Services was Top, room was nice, Bed was fluffy, just 1 thing missing was no follow up on the final bill, no email no text until the credit card statement & then I discovered I got a little over charged for drinks My 7 years old son moved out from the Very Pricey Mini bar items & I had put back into the fridge but still got charged for it!
It s ok I consider it my Tips!
I Loved it!
Email follow up with detailed bill or text
& a discount for next stay would have been 6 stars!
Always room for improvement!

Great hotel, great staff, the only issue was with the valet parking. They were so disorganized, and created a big frustration 2 times when I need to get my car... I did address it with a front desk supervisor, and he told me to talk with the valet manager, so I questioned him saying, are you going to allow a third party service screw up your guests and experience ? Another front desk manager took the lead and handled it better walking with me towards to valet and immediately talked with their manager to understand this miss.
Again i was only trying to give them this feedback. Overall I had an amazing time. Big kudos to the young man that works on the flow rider... great attitude, amazing customer service skills, better than the young lady that works on the slides, that seems not too happy and always trying to say that the rides were closed or not working ( the boomarango ) when I called the manager, magically started to work...
Will be back for sure.

Thanks

Thiago

It is a beautifully maintained and well-staffed hotel. However some small but noticeable issues remain with the entrance doors to the Jasmine building the elevator in the Jasmine building. They were dirty in need of paint and not well maintained for such a high-end resort

Will agree with some of the reports about the lack of customer service and lack of knowledge as well as being treated fairly when things present themselves that need managerial skills. This is a resort and so they should understand for the stay to be pleasurable and work with the customer through any issues. Did not feel understanding and compassion to solve problems, instead pinching pennies on fees. Did expect better facilities, and service.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. DISRESPECFUL MANAGERS. DISORGANIZED, 1 STAR SERVICE.

Please read: 2 Hotel Managers Both said they were happy my child was sick... you have to read this I m not kidding!

My family is a Member if this Country Club (We used to be valued) that I rarely attend. This used to be the Fairmont Country Club which is now the JW Marriott. Every year around April I would come here with my family and supply them with a membership ID number ... and even during the period they were still owned or managed by Marriott. I walk in and a lady by the name of SANDY working by the entrance of the pool area stops my sick child and I and asks for our Membership number.. like always I provided them with that number. Than she says where's your membership card .. I was puzzled as the number always had sufficed so I told her that I don't have the physical card with me and I gave them a photo of the actual card (Not having the physical card was NEVER an issue) ... she said my kid and I couldn't enter with a smile without the physical card and said to take it up with the Hotel Manager STEPHANIE, so I spoke with Stephanie and she told me that my sick-like-a-dog kid and I couldn't get in without the physical card. Then we walked to the front desk puzzled and they apologized on behalf of that hotel manager who was wrong and had provided us with wristbands and we walked inside and Sandy wasn't there when we did.

I took my kid straight from the doctor back to the JW Marriott the next day who was crying and went back to the front desk and SANDY was there didn't say anything as we had wrist bands received by the front desk again. The pool area was completely empty. I'm enjoying my time feeding my kids alone by the pool and about an hour later SANDY sends over STEPHANIE and CHRIS, whom have nothing better to do but to bust our balls and they said where's your wristband? Who gave you that wristband? What do you think you're doing here? You're not allowed in..

I said I am allowed in and here is my wristband granted to me by the front desk and they also said that your behavior is uncalled for and that our family pays money to be here and that we're members and have been for 20 years. As if we're looking to sneak in at this point. They then responded we'll let you stay ONLY THIS 1 TIME . (My response in my mind was F off)

I responded I'm allowed to stay here as long as I want to and according to our membership and the front desk and that nobody was informed of any rule changes to having the physical card with me. I also told them my child was SICK and that we're leaving soon, CHRIS and STEPHANIE responded "WELL THATS GREAT".

.. Really my sick child to you is "GREAT!".

JW MARRIOTT needs to take action against these low life Hotel Managers as for now I'd give this garbage resort 0 stars. It's all a facade all phoney management and personnel. I think Marriott needs to tell this management to go take a hike. Felt very uncomfortable and was very un enjoyable.

From the moment you arrive on the property you re treated with great hospitality. Excellent service from all employees. The customer service agent at the front desk Dhauliana was very friendly, addressed my guest needs and made my check in experience very pleasant. The property is quite large and can be a little confusing when you first arrive. I was escorted by a very courteous bell agent from the florida keys ( I forgot his name unfortunately) but again the level of professionalism and hospitality was impressive.
The rooms are clean, spacious bathrooms , some are a little dated , depends on the building. Be sure to ask for an updated room. Food is delicious , the bar lounge is a great spot to hang out. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.

Vacationed here for three days with my wife and two young kids. It was a wonderful and most impressive experience. The room was very spacious and clean and extremely comfortable. I had one of the best sleeps in my life. Everyone on staff is completely devoted to ensuring the most pleasurable experience for each individual guest. The only reason that I am not giving it a five star rating is because I was told when booking that the construction would be fully complete by the time my family and I would arrive and this was not true. We arrived and the entire waterpark and some of the other facilities were closed and inoperable due to the continued construction/remodel. To their credit, when I brought this up to the front desk they immediately issued me a full three day credit for the daily resort fees. All in all, it was a great experience and we very much look forward to returning on our next vacation and hopefully will be able to use all the facilities that this resort has to offer.

The hotel itself is nice, service is mediocre, the front desk associates are very canned and robotic in their replies reluctant to accommodate for anything. This hotel was previously a Marriott then upgraded the look and changed the name to JW without the real attention to detail you would expect at a JW.

Everyone enjoyed their dishes but my tiny order of scallops was just starting to go bad. Great service but with such a small space prices have to be as high as top Miami chef's, we hope they make it and wish them the best of luck.

As a multi-year Ambassador (100+ nights) I can say this was -without a doubt- the WORST Marriott property I ve stayed at in recent years. Beyond the cheap renovation of the property itself, the treatment received from management makes me question the value of spending another dime with Marriott. And I spend over $20k a year with them.

The reality is that this hotel was recently redone but walls remain paper thin. Could hear neighbors next to and above at all hours. Was also allocated a room next to the service closet where maid service began slamming carts at 4:30am every morning. One night, even had a security guard open and close my door after midnight only to be woken again at 1:00am by a bellman ringing my doorbell mistaking my room for another.

I spoke to At Your Service the over the phone requesting move then did so in person with the front desk staff on each my last two nights. For those counting at home, that s three attempts to move rooms at a huge property met with nothing more than a shrug and an apology from a woefully under-empowered staff.

This place is a mess. Just ask the raccoon that lives between the lobby and building 1.

I stay over 100 nights per year with Marriott spending over $20k and this is how management at this property treated me. How will they treat you?

It's under construction right now, and the construction is 24 hrs. Loud beeps from construction equipment all the way through to 4am. Other than that, and the fact that the bath water is a deep green, it's quite nice.

Stayed at the Turnberry for a corporate event. The lobby, restaurants and pool area very nice! Doorman and bell hops were great. The room had a nice view over the golf course and could see the ocean. The food for the corporate catered events was good. I was not a fan of the room decor, it felt dated, maybe it's supposed to be retro but just didn't seem upscale like the rest of the resort. I was a little disappointed when I asked the front desk for seafood recommendation and the person just googled some options. I know how to do that, I was looking for something from a local who really knew what was good. Overall it is a great place for corporate events.

Water park was perfect for the 7 and 8 year olds we had in our group. Big enough to be good, small enough the kids can run off on own a bit. Only complaint is that rooms were not ready... Early check-in is worthless. Rooms were excellent, clean, and comfortable.

Great hotel for a quick getaway: the grounds and large rooms are spectacularly maintained and the waterfall Pool and lazy River are fun family areas. The Onsite restaurants are a great plus. Only downside is the service at the pool has gone thru some changes in the last 6 months and not as efficient as before.

I always loved the hotel but last time it was under renovation. The enclosed main pool put me in a room overlooking the rubble, to reach the room a path of siding. I complained and nobody did anything, they were always friendly but the service has gotten a lot worse. I knew the hotel was under renovation but did not expect such a mess. It was disappointing.

If anybody out there is trying to find great deals for hotels and resorts visit . reserved a hotel room on there and they had the absolute best prices just about anywhere!

Great rooms and location. Awesome property and staff. If it wasn't raining the golf course would be on the agenda.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend celebration. The staff was unfriendly. The pool area was unkempt and the food service was slow. The rooms although large were decorated like it was 1980. We had a very expensive dinner in the restaurant. Dark and dank with uncomfortable seats and the food was less than average. The bartender was extremely unfriendly. All in all it was a total waste of a lot of money. All in all it was a total waste of a lot of money. Don't do a wedding or any type of anything at this place. There are many better venues. I would never go back.
