5 star however there were issues ::
- door to outside did not close on our last night so NO AC
- Staff is great / however food quality and time it takes to get it by pool is really bad
- make sure you check your bill, i was told $200 for upgrade and they wanted to charge $265 at checkout
- service is really bad by the pool, in fact no one came once to see if we wanted something, we had to track them down, the towel people are great and fast but the rest get a 1 star..
- make sure they tell you if you come with two cars they charge $35/night x 2

Amazing Marriott property. On our visit here, we were assisted by Sheu, who was an absolute pleasure. So knowledgeable, professional and accommodating, it almost felt like he was family with how he made it a point to tend to our needs. I actually ended up here on accident as I normally stay at Ritz-Carlton properties, but will definitely stay here again. A very nice property!!!

The room facilities are poor! Old broken furniture. The room is dirty! Ants in the room. I'm completely bitten. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Always missing towels, soap, coffee or similar. You have to call at least 3 times and wait 1 hour until the missing things come. The staff at the pool is rude and looks away. Price / performance ratio are not right! I can only advise against booking! Do not come back!

Turnberry Isle, outdid themselves with this amazing Hotel/Convention Center. It is a work of art. Aventura, has come a very long way since the first Turnberry building was built in the late 70's

We arrived hours before our conference was cancelled but decided to stay the the 4 days as the weather was going to be beautiful! Upon arrival at the front desk Dhayliana could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! We ate almost all of our meals outside at the Corsair Restaurant. Fred was super - he made us feel like we were at a private club! The food there was top notch! Jean at the Cascada pool was a charmer! Loved swimming and relaxing at the adults only pool. Be sure not to miss taking a bath with their aromatherapy salts and doing the circuit at the spa!

The room was new and clean and comfortable. What ruined our stay was the overcrowded tidal cove park which is why we booked the resort.Waited 90 minutes for our poolside order! Food was good but overcrowded pools and understaffed pool area was disappointing.

We are members at this club. It is currently undergoing renovations and will be even more incredible once finished in January. Very family friendly and also adult friendly. Love bourbon steak and Corsair.

The hotel was under construction when I was there so it was difficult to get a good feel. The room was clean and very nice. They welcomed dogs so that s a plus for me. Poolside really pretty and great walking distance to the Aventura mall. We attended an event there and the food was delicious.

Stayed here as a guest for a wedding. The site is under construction but there's nothing much you can do with that. The property is lovely and the Starbucks right out front is very convenient. Our junior suite was very spacious and the beds we're comfortable. My issue comes with the service. It took 3 calls 2 separate times to get ice. They have no ice machines on property (probably to cut down noise??). You call down to the front desk who said they will send some up. 30 minutes later you call again. 30 minutes after that you call one more time. I spent over and hour waiting both times I needed ice. I understand the staff is busy but that's rediculous.

the policy and service was very poor- when we got there they could not find our reservation - to accommodate we received a nice room from the front desk rep who felt bad that we were waiting for almost 30 min while they find the reservation. The room was amazing however it took over 8 hours to receive a fridge and microwave. I have been all over the world and visit many hotels as part of my job. I work for the celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and I would never invite my boss to have lunch. The incompetency with this hotel is unbelievable and I'm shock to know that it is in a very high class area but the service is not. Due to the delay we could not visit the water park because of my tight schedule and the frustration of waiting on the amenities since 10:00am. In all, the attraction was the view but the service needs more work. I spoke with maggie she was amazing and Keri was outstanding and superb in her service and tried her best to see what was going on as she apologize for the inconvenience.

World class resort and amenities. Impeccable service with attention to every detail. The staff anticipates each guests needs and wants. Full service pools with cabanas, and a spa experience second to none. Exceptionally refined.

My stay has not even begun. I arrived today for my connecting room reservation. I called every day for the last three days including this morning. I wanted to be sure my rooms would be ready for early check in and make sure they were connecting as requested. The hotel is a ZOO. People complaining at all ends. The front desk manager comes out to tell me at 4:30 that he does not know when my rooms will be ready and that they are doing the best they can. $500 a night rooms and you don t know when I will get to check in. Totally unacceptable. I can t even get a hotel manager on the phone. I keep getting put in his secretaries voicemail. Vacation has not even begun and I m regretting my decision to stay here.

Beautiful hotel. HORRIFIC customer service. Had my wedding night there and they RUDELY made me and my family and team of photographers leave the premises even though I spent over $600 to stay for one night. These people do not care about their customers. Never coming back.

This hotel is beautiful, but the customer service is absolutely terrible and destroyed the experience. We travel for business quite often and have never experienced a staff so rude. From the reservation phone line, to initial check in, to the wait staff- every person had an attitude and made us feel as though we were unwanted and that we were a thorn in their side. For a signature resort of this caliber, I would expect MUCH more, and quite honestly, the money is not worth the stay. The Assistant Manager ''Roston" was combative and rude when we asked to have some bags taken up to our room, and I am surprised to see him in a management position. The only person who made us feel welcomed was the Manager Eric. I would strongly recommend that this establishment make some serious changes in their customer service skills, but we will not be returning any time soon.

Loved this hotel. The best part was the saltwater pool right when you walk in. I could have spent an entire year in that pool, I was so relaxed.

The property was great, although a little pricey around meal time.

I'm only giving 1 star because no stars was not an option. My husband was sent to Florida after Irma to help restore power to the residents. His company had them rooms at this hotel. The first couple of days everyone was worried about the hurricane and focused on that. After the hurricane hit and the guys began working the staff became increasingly rude and disrespectful of the work the guys were there to do. My daughter travels a lot as she models, we were just in Florida last month at an event but we will never stay at this hotel or any hotel associated with this group! These guys had to leave their families to take care of families in Florida and being treated the way they were is completely unacceptable!

Great place to stay with kiddos! Not sure how busy this place is during normal times but there were plenty of towels and beach chairs at the pools. The room we had was great. We were in the Orchid Tower with a nice view of the golf course. The room was clean and perfect for us. The kids cove pool/water park was fantastic for my 4 and 7 year olds. The only issue we had was self parking, there was supposed to be someone at the garage to give us a ticket but he/she wasn't there and it became an issue when we tried to leave the garage, but no big deal. All the staff were kind. Would definitely stay again!

Reviewing customer service- was on hold for the account department for 10 min and when someone finally picked up my call, I was immediately hung up on. We all have stuff to and waiting on hold and calling back to wait on hold again is not ideal.

I stayed in May 2014 in a room overlooking the golf course. The entire property is lovely and well manicured, including the pool areas. The rooms are semi-luxury, very spacious, with plenty of workspace, ample closets/drawers, and thankfully no bibles. The in-room amenities are very good, with robes, slippers, and Molton Brown toiletries. The fitness center (located in a separate building with the spa and retail boutiques) is one of the best hotel/resort facilities I have ever been in, and I travel quite a lot. The changing rooms expansive, private, and well-stocked. The onsite restaurants are so-so, about what you'd expect from hotel restaurants, though the events catering is much above-average.

Worst hotel experience ever. And I spend 60 nights a year in hotels around the world. The options that I was given at check included overlooking a construction site or the pool. Unfortunately, I chose the pool. Great idea during the day. What I was not informed about was that noisy bar patrons are served until 1:00 and the hotel is not interested in controlling riotous behaviour. Repeated calls to security, the front desk and the night manager did not result in any improvement. The night manager, Whender, was pleasant to deal with, and seemed to understand my frustration. The problem is a design problem. It almost made me feel like I should have chosen the unsightly and noisy construction views. At least they stopped working when it got dark out, and people want to sleep. Do yourself a favour and stay ANYWHERE ELSE. Normally I do not provide reviews, but I can't sleep, so may as well do something in the hopes of helping others that like to sleep when they stay at a hotel.

this stay would not have been acceptable for a Motel 6 forget about 5 star.
I gave it one (1) star only because there is no zero (0)!!!

when we checked our room was not ready and would not be ready until the next day so we had to check into one room & move the next day.

the TV remote was missing.
the electric plug in the powder room did not work.
the service bar door would not open.
the door to the bathroom was hitting the floor when opened or closed to a screeching sound, and would not close all the way.

we called housekeeping four (4) times to get a box of tissues to put by the bedside. We then had a roll of toilet paper delivered. Then when the box was empty it stayed empty & was NOT replaced with a full box.
we called housekeeping four (4) times to get a small mirror, extension cord and a chair for the bathroom as my wife cannot stand the entire time to put on her makeup. The next day we left the room and left our privacy sign on. When we came back to the room the chair WAS gone!!! No one could explain what had happened or how anyone could enter my room despite the privacy sign being on the door. No one replaced the chair or ever explained the situation why the chair was ever removed. We never got the small mirror or extension cord!
The next day at 9:00 am we have a ringing bell at the door. It is the housekeeper, I see your privacy sign is on, when should I return to clean the room?!!! I have never been to any hotel or motel where the privacy sign is ignored.

When I tried to relax at the pool it turns out they had a party to cater and the path for all the supplies, dishes and glasses etc. had to be transported through the pool area. The constant rattle and commotion of the carts is extremely annoying. Even worse is when my lounge chair is struck by the carts the accident is ignored without an apology and it happens repeatedly!

We expected a Fed Ex package. I went to the front desk and asked for it to be delivered to my room. I was told that is NOT possible and I was sent to walk to the Fed Ex office which was "right around the building". That walk turned into a 10 minute hike and the Fed Office was closed. When I hiked back to the front desk they then agreed to deliver the package to my room.

They will not deliver a newspaper to the room in the morning.

the sheets were too narrow for the bed so they could not be tucked under the mattress. So all night the sheets moved around and scrunched up.

Would I recommend this resort to anyone. NO NO and NO!!!

I took my niece there for a spa day before her wedding and it was amazing. We had a great time and the experience was surreal. For the first time ever we tried the cryo therapy and that was a blast, then the floating bed was so relaxing and the Himalayan salt room was heavenly. Hands down the best spa experience.

The only thing I can't understand is that they couldn't pay me for the two weeks that I've been there working besides the one day that I had took an off because I wasn't feeling well. And also they didn't pay me for my vacation pay for the two weeks so I'm a little upset about that I thought the managers like me because I like them they seem to be very good management to me but I guess I was wrong

I have been coming here for over 10 years and have never experienced such complete disappointment across the board. I ve even stayed here for after my wedding and did my wedding pictures here.

The valet took 26 mins to get to our car at check in; the bellman took 45 minutes to bring luggage at check in after we told him we were short on time.

In addition they refused to allow us at least a standard one hour late check out so we didn t have to rush out of there like birds when a storm is approaching. I ve never been to a hotel in any country that did not allow me to check out late at least an hour. Unacceptable.

This establishment has changed since it became JW tremendously.

At check out it took 1 hour+.

Not sure I ll come back again.
