Lovely decor, but incredibly overpriced. The melktert pina colada is by no means worth the price I paid. I will definitely not be returning.

This is absolutely one of the best coffee shops Ive been to period! The decor, staff, coffee quality is superb and I cannot flaw this establishment! Well done guys! You certainly make us South Africans proud!! TOP SPOT!

Really great spot for breakfasts! Absolutely love the steampunk decor too! Unfortunately, it's often very packed and therefore finding a table can be difficult.

Some of my favorite coffee in cape town. But don't sit down. Get your coffee through the window. The waiters are so slow, the food is expensive and you feel like you are working in a swetshop. Not a great place for anything other than an epileptic episode. Also... Zapper over snapscan. :( WHY?

Wow! What a surprise experience! If you're a coffee lover, this is definitely the place to go. I haven't tried their food yet but will definitely come back to visit for breakfast, lunch or maybe dinner.

from 7:00 to 18:00 on Mondays;
7:00 to midnight on Tuesdays to Fridays;
8:00 to 23:30 on Saturdays
8:00 to 16:00 on Sundays

The Brasserie has a real rustic feel to it, from the decor to the music to the waitron uniforms.

Nice coffeehouse with their own roastery. Coffee was brewed to perfection and good selection of pastries and food selection. Tried their nitro cold brew and cold flat latte with caramel latte.

Awsome coffee place. If you are in neighborhood you should definitely stop by for a cup of SteamPunk Java!

I absolutely love the steam punk theme, the coffee has won international awards and is actually quite cheap concidering. Definitely a must try for coffee lovers .

Amazing coffee and great atmosphere. The Steampunk interior alone makes a visit well worthwile and their great selectiong of meals and pastries make this a great place for a snack or lunch.

Amazing coffees.Food was great and the coffee was a bit to strong for my liking. Luckily they had decaf. Nevertheless if given the opportunity I ll come back again!

Definitely a place all Capetonians and visitors must visit. Attention to detail in the styling visually that gives you a really good feeling while you enjoy your amazing coffee. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. The atmosphere is super steampunk. The staff was very nice. Our waiter explained all the coffees to us and helped us pick what we would like. The coffee was amazing. We tried 4 different kinds. Ressurection was my favorite. Very easy to drink. I got it in flat white. My husbands was vengeance black pour over. Very smooth. Kinda fruity and it was awesome.

We also got breakfast. My husband got the pork belly with red wine poached egg. It was very tasty. The red wine poached egg was different in a good way. My dish, however, was AMAZING! I got the steampunk Benedict. I don t like poached eggs so I got mine fried (no prob with changing and subbing items). It was SO GOOD!!!

The coffee is out of this world. The place is jammed with creativity and experience.Try and phone ahead of time to book seats in the booth. Very comfortable and provides nice privacy. I highly recommend the food as well.

The Black Romance tea ( I think that's the name) was phenomenal and I would like some more. Do you courier tea to Pretoria perhaphs?

Sneak peek of the 'bin room' where all the raw beans are stored. Your caffeine fix will be served here if you are a large group or in those rare cases that Truth is overrun by patrons (like on Sunday mornings). It just adds another level to the already funky experience at Truth and makes you feel like a real welcome regular granted access to the heart of the operation. A bit like Al Capone at Butch's.

Great coffee! Atmosphere is a cool vibe. People surf online with laptops. Finding a place to park is as expected in any city. It's loud inside so if you are looking for a place to hang out and laugh out loud with friends this is the place.

For those who love strong coffee this is the place for you. The old industrial setting is awesome and great for a photoshoot as well... Twice now when I recently visited Truth I had unfortunately experienced some bad service... 1st bad service was waiting for 15min for the bill to arrive as I kept asking waiters who walked by if I could get my bill it didn't show up until 15min... The 2nd time when my friend and myself went in because my friend wasn't there yet and wanted to taste their coffee, I ordered an Americano for him and a hot chocolate for myself. His Americano came within two minutes and the waiter said my hot chocolate is on the way, 10min later still no hot chocolate, the waiter walked by and asked if I didn't get my hot chocolate yet I replied with no and the waiter said he will fetch it 2min later the waiter arrived and told me my hot chocolate was taken to the wrong table but he will ask them to make me another one. Overall I waited 20min for a hot chocolate.

This had to be the biggest let down for me so far. I couldn't wait to sample the coffee - I'd been planning this for months.
