This place absolutely exceeded my expectations and has renewed some of my faith in car dealers. Robenson, the salesman, was friendly and actually knew what he was taking about (compared to most of my experiences where I know more from just reading the website, than the salesmen do). Lourdes, the finance director, was also friendly, professional, and efficient.

Dealer was upfront about fees from the beginning, which I like, although I still always feel like I'm getting ripped off for paying things like "processing fee", "documentation fee", and "dealer fee". I know everyone, including dealers, deserves to make a profit but these just aggravate me. Not isolated to this dealer and they were upfront about it so not holding it against them.

Absolutely will buy another Chevy from these guys.

BEWARE. AVOID AT ALL COST. Took my car in for body work after an accident. Had employee remove items from my vehicle on dash cam.

Worst experience I ve ever had buying anything period. First off I got baited into going to the dealership off an ad posted in offer up for a Tahoe for $19,990. I Was in communications with Luisana and made an appointment to see the Tahoe the following day on April 28th. Upon arriving she tells me the Tahoe was sold, it had problem (typical baiting) but we have others you that you will be interested in. So I proceeded to see other Tahoe s which were all over 10k more then the one I came to see. The lowest cost Tahoe was 32k with over 76k miles on it. Wasn t too interested but I gave it a shot with expectations that they would work a deal with me to keep a customer happy for wasting my time and driving there for a car that was promised to be there and wasn t! Boy was I Wrong! They told me that was a great deal and that I wouldn t find it anywhere else that these are luxury trucks and are expensive. Furthermore she told me she would talk to her manager and try and find me a better rate. 15 minutes later she comes back and shows me paperwork and has me sign it promising me she would get me a lower price and a great rate. Another 15- 20 minutes go by and my time is over, I advise them that I have to go, that I would call them back or come back another time. At this point they asked me for a deposit with out me agreeing to any deal nor discussing and final approvals, which blew my mind. About 20 minutes after leaving I get notifications from the credit bureaus that I have 3 HARD INQUIRIES from auto loan banks. The nightmare isn t over yet, the next day (today) I get 3 MORE HARD INQUIRIES on my credit report, a TOTAL of 6 HARD INQUIRIES!!!!! This is insane, and rather selfish to even consider butchering someone s credit report in this matter. I have NEVER gone through this in any other car dealership or even boat dealership. The finance manager needs to be reported and held responsible for the misuse of my information. For using my information to further run my credit the following day with out my permission. I will be updating this post once I get more information. Spoke to a manager ( Mauricio ) and advised him of the 6 hard inquiry that was ran on my account today, And he was surprised and advised me that this was wrong and was promised a phone call back once he got to the bottom of this. Once he calls back and hopefully resolves this issue I will update this post. This has truly been a nightmare and terrible experience, this issue needs to be resolved ASAP. I ve been reading many comments on the baiting techniques, and abusive credit inquiries performed here, just wished I would of read them before thinking about doing business here. Will update this post as soon as information becomes available.

April 29th update, today I received another hard inquiry.
7 Total hard inquiries posted on my credit report! Unbelievable! Manager Mauricio never called back. After several attempt of politely calling they kept porting me to voicemail, it was clear nobody wanted to help me nor cared. Finally On last call asked to speak to a manager again they advised me the no manager was in, it wasn t till after I told the phone rep that I was going to have to report this establishment to the better business bureau is when she said no I will go look for him. Coincidently EDDIE the Finance agent who posted the hard inquiries to my account picks the phone up. After advising to Eddie what had happen he told me that this is the protocol, to send out 6 inquiries to different banks. But I advised him that today makes 7 hard inquiries. He was speechless after that. I mentioned to Eddie that this could tarnish my credit report if I was looking to buy a home, his response was You shouldn t be looking for a car if you want to buy a home . In the past I ve bought Cars, boats, and even jetskis and no company has ever ran my credit 7 times!! I advised Eddie that his statement was not valid because you can still purchase a car and buy a home if you credit is only ran once or twice as what a normal car dealership would do. The BBB will hear from me.

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! A year after I got my car I started having issues. I purchased a brand new 2018 Malibu. Besides fixing my issues they kept resetting my computer. An issue that was detected by auto zone the same day the warning popped on my dashboard took them three days to detect and fix because I kept returning my vehicle to them. Tropical Chevrolet was the only place that serviced my car and they ve never fixed an issue on the first try, they always tried to beat around the bush or brush it off. I am beyond disappointed I ve had over 10 services with a brand new vehicle!!!!! Very much incompetent!!!

Nothing satisfied It is a misleading offer, the discount they offer, they do not solve, they try to intimidate you by telling you that you are wrong with credit. But they offer to give you another car. In addition to the one you lead to change. They are liars. The Dealer totally empty. No one believes in them. Do not waste your trip or time to visit them.

Awesome people and great car selection. If your looking for great care, I recommend asking for Davie. I had in mind to get a Spark, something economical. But sir "Choy", while having a pleasant convo along the way, steered me into the land of SUVs and boy am I glad. With a baby on the way and the pot wholes all over town, this Traverse has been great, smooth, and they were able to give me decent financing w/ a few discounts for already having a chevy too! 5 stars

Fast and quick service, freindly staff . Got the job done.

They wanted to charge $ 1200 to remove the engine of my track only to give me a complete diagnostic. After that, a quote for the needed work would be prepared.
I refused this and requested anothe opinion. When I pick it up, they charged me $ 160 for nothing as the diagnostic was not completed. I went to another dealer and they changed the injector, that was the problem, and no engine removal was needed.
I will never be back to this dealer.
They are scammers

Bought truck. Drove 50 miles home. Filled out all my loan paperwork and gave Them a pre approved bank loan draft from navy fed bank. Had to drive back a day later because the purchase amount was several thousand lower and they wanted me to re sign everything for more money. Price was still ok so I decided to do that. Got them to give me a tank of gas for my 100 mile round trip.
Get notice from bank. They haven t received the title. Tried to call person I did paperwork with. They were fired. Title dept informs me they sent the title to the dmv as a cash upfront title.
NO Lien. I paid with a navy federal pre approved draft. It says the bank right on it. They put it down as cash and the title is now in my name only. Either they hire people that incompetent, or they hire people who mess with the paperwork to save themselves a little effort. Either way it s bad
Since they sent it away to the dmv they have nothing to do with the title now. So I have to go to the dmv and get the title and send it to my bank myself. Why did I pay Tax, Title, Registration, if I have to do their job for them. If I don t fix this my bank will double the rate on my loan. Only have to get to the dmv during a deadly virus outbreak. These people are incredibly unprofessional and caused a dumb problem that I now have to fix myself.

I bought my Camaro here about three years ago and had a good experience. So when It came to getting oil changes for my car I felt loyal to come to this location to do so. But every time I make an appointment to get my oil change done I end up waiting 2 to three hours and that is just unacceptable. What's the point in making an appointment?!! I really hope you get this fixed otherwise I will have to take my business elsewhere

this is a dealer selling new cars but they have a junkyard section (and mentality) with the "end of life" "very high mileage" "near-total-loss" cars with inflated prices trying to generate "dealer fees".

My SALE CONSULTANT Mr Harris Mc Bride is the best there is. We have purchased three vehicles through him. Let me tell you I am a senior citizen and he have been very patient understanding towards me and my husband. He have guided us through the buying process with great knowledge of the of the paperwork and the financing process and also of the vehicle. Guess what I will back next year this time to purchase another vehicle through him. So please keep him on your sales team. Horrible bait and switch artists here. I called to verify a car was on the lot and available. It was a very low priced used car and I asked if there were any additional pictures and if she knew anything about the car. She said no, to 'come on down' to take a look and if you don't like it 'I'm sure you'll find something else.' I told her I was an hour away and I want to make sure the car is there. She emphatically said 'yes.' One hour later there is no car and a sales guy said it was sold days ago and had 'lots of problems.' Thanks for wasting an hour of my life that I won't get back and you don't have any chance of me buying a car from you and never recommending this dealership.

The vehicle was in the shop for over 8 days. When I picked up it was not repair correctly. I tried to convince the shop manager that something was not right. See pictures below. He argue that it was okay the way it was. But that he would look into to see what could be done to return the next day. With that reply, I called my insurance company and was approved to take the vehicle to another shop where they corrected what Tropical had not done and charged the Insurance company only $188. It was a frustration to have the vehicle in the shop a total of 16 days to pay for two times for a car rental when Tropical could of fix the car right the first time. I requested via email to the Tropical shop manager if they would reimburse at least one of the car rental fees. Since September and as of today, no reply.

Went in to trade in a vehicle and was referred to Rudy de lemos. I come in ask about the vehicle for my father and this salesman was upset every time I would inquire about different trims, prices etc. Was unpleasant the whole time was very rude through the entire process and I decided to leave. I would recommend Bomin dadeland instead bought three cars with them and nothing short of amazing service going to tropical was a mistake.

Unfortunately I also had a bad experience with this dealership. I was contacted by a salesperson, Maria, who granted price and conditions, when I went to the dealership another salesman took care of me because Maria had left already but gave him all the details, the gentleman, Andrew, seemed to be very professional and I double checked with him the conditions of the deal and he confirmed everything, he entered my information and run my credit to later tell me that they were not getting the numbers that Maria gave me.....he showed empathy about the inconvenience and promised to talk to the GM the following day and call us first time in the morning. My husband and I left close to 9:00 pm totally disappointed but hopping the GM would honor the deal.
The following day nobody called, I had to contact Maria to follow up and she finally replied saying that it was her mistake but she would follow up with Andrew.....nothing again.
My husband called the GM and told him what happened to what he replied saying that he was not aware of anything but he would find out and call back. He called back to my husband and said that they were not able to honor the deal but partially, really???
Long story short lie after lie after lie and a lot of disappointment for me.

Sales staff were awful I managed to get what I assume was a new hire since he was disinterested completely straight up didn't care at all about selling a car, was just sitting there with no effort to sell anything was practically waiting for me sell myself a car or to leave which I did and got a much better deal on a much better car elsewhere I hope I'm not the norm for service but it was such an awfully pathetic place...

Other than how over half of the cars on the lot were corvettes which was beautiful to look at but also like calm down on the vettes man you can sell other cars right?

Car was in service for mom than 30 days. Took it home without repair. Worst service ever. Never using again.

Started dealing with Tropical in 1992 when I bought a brand new Lumina, the I bought a 1999 Lumina from them. I used to have them service my cars frequently. In November I brought my car to the collision center. Horrible service and repair. Never ever going to Tropical again.

Rude sharks! You will not get the online listed price. I called ahead and asked 2 employees, both assured me that's what I would pay. I got there and found a damage report paper hidden in the glove box... on a brand new vehicle. When I asked the sales guy, he made excuses. Either way, I was planning on taking it. We sat down and he wrote MSRP price and I stopped him, he made more excuses. I was not going to let the price jump from $15,000 to $25,000. He talked about incentives and when I asked for them all on paper (they certainly weren't listed online), he came back with hand written papers with "incentives" I've never even heard of and, of course, I apparently didn't qualify for any. I was giving good down, using the GM finance and they still wouldnt budge. After arguing with the manager, I left with no car. Called Bomnin asking about incentives and the guy quickly laughed and asked if I had been at Tropical because they always add on ridiculous prices. I almost feel bad for this empty dump.

Tropical Chevrolet exceeded my expectations. The salesman really took his time to get to know me, what type of cars I have had in the past to understand what I needed now. I appreciated how he showed me all the models and their options. Quick process.

Be careful with your credit. Always make a recording statement where the finance guy states that your credit will be only send to one bank. Otherwise they have the power to send it to as many bank as they want. Remember the dealer does not care about you, your life or credit. You will have to watch your back, no one will do it for you. I came for a lease under my name and I did not get approved ,then the dealer changed the deal under my business name without asking for my permission. Meaning that I got my hard inquiries without my permission. No bueno amigos.

I bought a brand new chevrolet 2021 trailblazer from this place less than 4 months ago and now my tire is flat. They also had 900 miles on the odometer and sold it as new. The tire is not covered under warranty. This place is a scam! Don't buy anything from these theives! I would not even give them one star. Google made me do it.
