Paula knocked on my door and I was busy having dinner with my family. She was very polite and courteous. My husband and I recently had talked about replacing our roof and she offered to have a representative come by to give us a free estimate. She asked that I be present for the estimate as well as my husband because she apprecated that the decision should be shared between us. A few days later, Ryan showed up right on time for the appointment, gave us all of the information needed, and offered us a fantastic price. A few weeks later, our roof was installed. The crew did a great job. We couldn't be happier. I've recommended them to all my friends and family. Thanks Tri State!

My girlfriend and I are very pleased with the new roof installed by Tri-State Roofing. We bought our two-story craftsman house last fall knowing we were going to need a new roof. We knew from past experience that we wanted a 50-year GAF roof on this house. One of their sales persons left us a door advertisement and we called for an appointment. They were on time, gave a fair estimate, and scheduled the work for a few weeks later. The crew was prompt, courteous, and very professional. They addressed our questions and concerns and completed the work in a timely fashion. The cleanup was great (we have yet to fine one roofing nail in my yard). The install crew for the new gutters and downspouts were great as well. The final inspection was completed a few days later and we received the warranty paperwork in the mail from GAF. Overall a great experience.

Had a Consultation about my roof gutters with a guy named Landon. He was very respectful, honest, and very informative. I already have my reservations about pushy salesman but he was very down to earth and I felt comfortable speaking with him and he answered every single question I had. Tri-state Roofing is my #1 choice all the way!

Should be zero stars do your homework people and get other estimates before you contact these people. They were almost double the price of four other reputable Roofing installers. Their high pressure sales try to get you locked into a deal that day because they know that if you get other estimates they won't be the ones you pick.

Work was great and the crew was happy to work as they whistled showing their happiness in doing a great job. Dedicated to getting the job done right they worked in a day of bad winds and for 3 days showed up every morning and worked until dark. Job complete and now I am secure that my metal roof will be there longer than I will be.

Two reps came to my door last week. Despite negitive reviews from neighbors, I agreed to an appointment for a free quote on Saturday September 23rd at 1:30 pm because we do need a new roof and are looking for quotes. We did not recieve a call on friday like we were told and no one showed. For a company looking for new business, show up when a potential customer agrees to a quote. My husband and I will never become a customer. If you cant show up to give a quote, how can a customer trust that your company will do anything it says it will do?

Mark, Justin, and Chris from Tristate Roofing just finished installing my new windows and they did a fantastic job! They are both very friendly and respectful. We first met last month when they came to do the critical measurements. Mark was awesome. He took the time to explain aesthetic concerns he had about the dimensions I had chosen (some of the old windows were giant picture windows that did not open and I wanted them replaced with smaller picture windows flanked by sliders or double hung). He explained his concerns and made recommendations for slightly larger opening windows. I agreed with his suggestions and am extremely pleased with the results. When they did the install, they brought canvas/tarp to cover the floors so they wouldn't track dirt in the house; they vacuumed as they went, so there was no construction dust or glass on the ground, inside or out, when they were done. After all was done, Mark showed me how to use all the little bonus features that come with nice windows (safety stops, double hung tops slide down, and more). They are all really nice guys and I felt completely comfortable having them in my house. They did an excellent job installing the windows, and I just LOVE the new windows. I definitely recommend Tristate Roofing for window replacement and plan to give them a call in a few years when I need a new roof.

Won't provide a written estimate if you don't sign up with them the day they visit and do high pressure sales. I've reached out to them 5 times since the sales visit on 09/22 and have had no response or an estimate from them. They show you a video of how reputable they are but then can't get a simple written estimate or a return phone call.

A neighbor was having their roof replaced and Tristate advertised free quotes. So I called and meet with a rep. He walked us through the whole process and laid out the facts and figures. We were impressed with the financing options and the transferable warranty.

Once the job started it was surprising to me how fast they re-shingled our roof. In just 2 days they completed the project and the roof looks great!

Mike came out quickly and was very nice & informative. We had two other estimates but ultimately went with Tri-State. Great job, fast service with just a couple of minor hiccups which were taken care of promptly.

We will definitely use these guys for the rest of our window installations! We contacted two other companies for bids before deciding to go with Tristate to replace 3 large windows and a sliding door, even though they were a bit more expensive. I was originally skeptical because they came to our door, rather than us seeking them out, but the sales guy and the installers turned out to be very informed and eager to please. Once we signed the contract, they took measurements and told me it would take about 5 weeks. On the 5th week, I called the office for an update and they responded within a day and were able to install them that weekend. My husband and I both really like Mark and his two sons, one of whom was working with a broken thumb! Mark told us all the things the other installers did wrong and what they were going to do to fix it properly as they were doing the work. Our windows and door look awesome!

I just had a nice man come walking up in my yard yelling hey , hi wanting me to come to the door, mind you I have 2 No Trespassing signs that didn't faze him a bit . For this reason alone I'll never use this company and I agree with other reviews this company is so over priced

Tri state had a great young man Blake at my home in Tacoma giving estimates on roofs, he wasnt overly pushy like many salesman. He was very professional and knowledgeable, if my roof was older I may have followed through. Tri state is a good company.

The salesman was great, knowledgeable and had good ideas. The project took too long, we had little communication from the office even when we called. They had labor issues that impacted the ability to get our house done. I did not feel that what I was shown originally was the product I reviewed even when questioned. We had already given a large deposit so we could not move on to someone else. Not happy with the service or support from the company.

Mark and his crew installed 12 windows and 2 patio doors for us. They were GREAT! They used tarps inside and outside the house to keep foot traffic on our flooring to a minimum, kept the work areas clean. Answered all of my questions and very knowledgeable in their craft. Additionally, we have a couple cats that we did not want getting outside. Mark and his crew were VERY attentive to this request and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Can't recommend them highly enough!

These clowns are unprofessional and just plain shady . The last straw was when one of these animals was caught by my neighbor's 10 year old daughter actually deficating on the side of the house. Do you really want that kind of person working on your home?

Dan & Evelyn were knowledgeable and gave us several good options for our roofings needs. I look forward to working with them the near future.

A Tristate sales person knocked on my door one day to ask about giving a free bid for my roof. I accepted and was told that in a few minutes a person would call to set up an appointment. When they called, they informed me that both my wife and I would have to be present when they came to make a bid. I told them my wife was a very busy person and there was no reason that she had to be present. They said we both had to be present. When I asked why they gave me a run around that they are selling not just a roof but a "system", what ever that means. This immediately sent up a red flag. The only reason I could think of why it would be a requirement to have both spouses present is that it would be a high pressure sales pitch trying to get you to sign up for the services. I have never heard of a legitimate company "requiring" both spouses to be present for a bid on a job. Be VERY VERY cautious with this company. Needless to say, I did not have them come over for a bid.

They have been doing minor repairs on my roof every wind storm finally had a new roif put on by them they git it done in two days they cleaned up all the mess they financed me through them so my oayments are low i recommend them to get the job done in a fast and friendly method if your looking for repair or replacement this is the place to go

Great experience, from start to finish. The installers worked their butt off, were great to my kids, and friendly. I'd recommend them to anyone.

They showed up the day that was agreed upon. Tear-off was completed within a couple hours. Repairs completed in an hour and install completed by the end of the day. Gutters and downspouts completed the next morning, first thing. All personnel were polite and courteous and answered all of our questions completely. I have pictures of the tear-off and install if anyone would like to see the photos.

Outstanding! I was particularly impressed that the workers had no loud radios, no radios at all, and were very quiet and did not disturb our neighbors.

We had an excellent experience with Tristate Roofing. Our salesman Jean did a great job of guiding us step-by-step through the process, and our installer Mark did an outstanding job. I will use them again if the need arises.

This review is for Sales Consultant, Sean Harris. I have had several companies out for bids and I learned things from Sean that none of the others had explained. He built a convincing case for the quality and competitiveness of TriState. Sean was not a high pressure salesman and sought to understand my situation and needs. Plus, he was personally very likeable. I am waiting for some financial matters to conclude, then I will likely contact Sean to have the work done.

Today a young man by the name of jason had stopped by our home in kent today to talk to us about our roof around 530pm was very professional and polite and not pushy . i can honestly say when i get my roof done i will be going threw tri state roofing

Canvasser of Tri State has the nicest approach of anyone in the business so far. De'Antae Hill came to my door and was the most polite young men I have met in some time. He wasn't just a door-to-door salesman. Usually they are just wanting the job, but this young man had heart. I don't know at this time if we will go with this company or, mostly at this time of covid uncertainty and cost, get a new roof at this time, but polite and courteous people are a must in my book. Great so far, and update if we decide on new roofing. Thank you Tristate.

Called this company to get an estimate for a new siding and it was more than DOUBLE of what other companies were charging, SUPER OVERPRICED!!! Plus the consultant who met with me wrote the bid on the back of his card. What kind of bid is that? Usually we get a nice e-mail specifying everything that is going to be done, type of material, etc. He LITERALLY wrote $30,000 on the back of his card and gave to me. WHAT A JOKE.

My experience with Tristate is similar to those in the past. Tristate installed a roof and gutters on our home in January 2018 and other than having a roof that doesn't leak I was not satisfied. Poor communication, no concern for customer satisfaction, and extremely overpriced.

We had a woman come to our door in October in the middle of day asking questions about our roof, it was clear that it was in need of repair. we made the consultation appointment for the following week. They will tell you everything you want to hear and try to make an incredible effort to up-sale you. Don't go for it!

it took two months to schedule the work done on my roof. Used subcontractors, although advertising using in-house employees. The team working on my home did not communicate with me or my wife at any time during the project besides when there were additional findings which added to the already outrageous cost. The service provided was average at best.

They just want your money, the quality doesn't match what they advertise. Do your research, and be careful. I would not recommend this company.

We have had our roof replaced once since purchasing our home in 1994 by a freind. Tristate has been faithfull to our neighborhood for years by handing out fliers and tryung to engage in conversation.....unfortunatly i have not been home when they stopped by.

I have read through a LOT of the comments and o e common theme i see is that the owner has been following up and making every effort to correct any known issues.

We have called others to get quotes, Tristate is next in the morning as AGAIN this year they left another flier. Good work Tristate. Let's see how we finish the follow up!

Don't come to the door ESPECIALLY since we have a "no soliciting" sign. Trying to talk about your roofing services is solicitation, if we wanted work done we would call somewhere, not wait for someone to show up at our door. Super annoying.

Called tri state about 3 years ago and they quoted me out 16k and then recently called them again to get an updated quote and they were trying to quote me 31k!! Felt the estimator was trying to steam roll me!! Watch out for these guys and make sure you get other quotes!!!!

Mark and son did an outstanding job on the installation of our 10 windows and one patio door. They were professional, courteous, and very polite. It took a total of three days to complete the project. One day was getting accurate measurements for the new windows. The second and third day was dedicated to the installation of the windows once the windows had arrived from the factory. Their knowledge and expertise made the installation process efficient and flawless. Upon completion of the installation they did a great job of cleaning up the work areas and hauling away any packeting material and debris from the project. I'm very pleased with our new windows and patio door.

Honestly this is the best place to buy a roof. The level of skill these guys have is off the charts.

Unlike the reviews of Mariah Senn and David Schaffer, I am not going to blast a company because of a negative experience. I don't even *have* a purchaser's experience with them. I will, however, tell you that my husband and I moved into our new home a little over 2 weeks ago and the former owners, who lived here 7 years, had their windows and roof replaced by Tri State Roofing. I must say these windows are beautiful and work very, very well. While going through the initial inspection, the former owners of our home and my husband and I had a lengthy discussion about the home and we had a good rapport with them through the purchase of this home. That is not the usual process in today's home-buying world. At any rate, the former owners told us about the window replacements and their high recommendations of Tri State Roofing. While the former owners may have chosen to pay a lot more to get their roof and windows done, that was ***their choice*** - and if a person wants to CHOOSE to pay more than others around them, again, that is ***their choice*** - NOT anyone else's choice! We learned today that our neighbor had his roof replaced for $7,000 as opposed to our home's former owners, who had about $23,000 worth of roof replacement and window replacement. The materials used and the labor charged as well as how to compare it to our neighbor's work performed and materials/labor charged is almost apples to oranges, since we cannot compare the two, as my husband and I were not the ones to replace the roof/windows here.

We have a letter from Tri State Roofing that talks about a lifetime transferable warranty with the windows, which the previous owners left for us. I *will* say that when my husband called the store, they did not seem to have record of the address. There may be a problem in the office, in the way of record keeping, or there may be another document that the previous owners can send to us, which we will find out soon enough when they get back from holiday travels.

There is one *last* thing I wish to mention. If you have a complaint and a problem with people and call them and gripe them out, you have to ask yourself why *would* someone hang up on you? Were you being out-and-out ugly at the person on the phone? Were you cussing them out? Were you less than human about how you handled your complaint? If I am the recipient of someone blasting at me through a phone, even as a customer representative that I have been across the years in my previous jobs, I have been told I have the ***right*** to not continue to listen to abuse, politely tell the person who is being abusive that "Ma'am/Sir, I must tell you I have been given permission to end the call if you continue with this language." And, then, I end the call, as a customer service representative, without further explanation. That's called "She/he hung up on me!" by a lot of people.

If you are a customer service representative, you should know this as a professional! SO - if you have a complaint, AND if the person on the other end of the line is disrespectful to you, then yes, you have a reason to be further dissatisfied; however, if YOU are part of the problem in how you deliver your complaint, then THINK before you start ranting. NO person wants to be ranted at, even if it is legitimate. We have a society that believes they are "entitled," no matter the issue. If your complaint is legitimate, fine; but be humane about it because being a pain in the behind while telling your side of the story is no excuse for abusing the recipient of your complaint. If the person was indeed ugly to you, go into the store and report it, if they don't take your call!

But Tri-State did indeed do a very nice job on our roof and windows--I guarantee that!

Someone knocked at my door asking about my roof. I was able to set up an appointment with one of their reps. Mr. Watson showed up at my house a couple of days later. Mr. Watson was very knowledgeable about roofing options and he was very professional. The installers did a great job. I am a real estate broker and it has been very nice to be able to find a good roofing company like this one. I now recommend this company to all of my clients for all of their roofing needs.

I don't usually write reviews, but.... Tristate did a neighbors roof and they were happy as heck. I watched how the worked and was impressed as was my neighbor. I was happy every step of the way, with one exception. The install crew spoke broken English and I was happy my son speaks fluent Spanish. I don't know if my experience would have been different if communication was better. The salesman, crew, office staff and final inspection were superb. I would give them more stars if I could.

Scruffy kids, wearing tri-state polo shirts, rang the doorbell at 6 PM on a weekday. They had no legitimate BUSINESS reason to be there considering the house already has new roof and new windows and is posted as no trespassing. Have to assume they are up to no good, trying to scam people or they're fake sales people scoping out places to break into.

i am very disturbed at tri state first off we listened to a two hr estimate and the sales man decided that we could not pick
a color wich we said green he wrote slate and he said part of my roof was torch down not and charged us for 3 sheets of plywood but never used it and never showed up on job site. and well i would never go through them or recomend oh and there installers well they argued half the day cause one didnt do nothing all day he was either layin down on roof or sitting and there gutter guys left the nails all over the yard

Great company. Everything was well organized and efficient. I was kept informed every step of the way. They cleaned everything up and even washed my skylight for me.

August 2012- Received a flyer on the door - called and scheduled an estimate. Tri State bid was higher than all others but they promised more. 9 weeks after signing contract and still no word from Tri State on install date. Multiple calls to them and finally a call back. Scheduled date in October. Scheduling problems with them pushed install into November. After 11 weeks finally work begins. Day 1 partial tear off, no tarping, rains come and cause damage to gas fireplace, living room floor & carpet. Day 2, inform foreman about damage, final tear off and no protection again - rains come and flood garage. More water damage to drywall, floor, personal belongings. Day 3- finally Tri State has servpro come out, set up eq and dry out everything - for 3 days! Day 5 work on roof - crew quits at noon. Day 6 crew shows up after 11AM, works until 4. Foreman notified of this and crew shows up on day 7 early. Crew removes old vents, lays membrane on plywood sheeting but doesnt fill the old vent holes (8"x8") as promised. Foreman called and shingles removed, holes filled but membrane cut open and then shingles replaced. Day 8 - windy the night before. 2 skylights have roof debris dropping into the rooms and whistling noise from wind - skylights not sealed properly. Foreman notified and crew repairs - sort of! Back deck roofing skipped. Foreman notified and crew made to complete this as well. Day 9 - Foreman contacted but no answer. Returns call later in day and explains he has been releived of duty. Day 10 - crew almost done but roofing debris every where and flashing not complete as promised. Day 11 - shed complete but gutters all full of debris on entire home, nails and trash all around yard. Tri State owner John Hollum and new foreman come to discuss complaints. John is now picking up trash in my yard but not addressing the quality issues. Sept 2014 - Skylights never repaired properly. Leaking! Hired new co to repair correctly. Asked who did roof and laughed at my answer. I was scammed people. Dont make the same mistake!

Agreed to get an estimate for a roof. Confirmed appointment with customer service on Friday for 2 PM Saturday - had to make sure that I cleared access to the crawlspace/ etc.

Roofer no called/ no showed for the estimate. I set aside time on a Saturday and they didn't have the decency to call letting me know they couldn't make it.

Customer service reached out 3 days later and I got passed to an agent who unconvincingly stated that the roofer's wife unexpectedly went into labor and that is why no one reached out to me. The customer service supervisor apologized but didn't demonstrate any responsibility or plan build trust past this experience and just kept trying to set an appointment for another estimate.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone as they haven't demonstrated professionalism and didn't value me as a customer.

Ryan was my sales representative. Although I did not purchase the service and products, I found him to be punctual, professional, competent, knowledgeable and very polite and considerate. Unfortunately as a senior with very limited budget, especially now due to the pandemic I have absolutely no financial wiggle room.If money was no issue i would come straight to Ryan and Tri State roofing. In any event thank-you for sending Ryan.

Dan Edmonds came over in the evening which was perfect for those who work and commute to have a company available for consultations in the evenings. Dan was polite courteous upon arrival. He put booties on before entering my home. He did a great job showing me the difference between the windows I have currently and the windows they sell and what a difference between the heat and cold. He was not one of those pushy car salesmen type. He answered all my questions and gave me a free quote. When I am ready, I will definitely be giving Dan a call!

The nice gentleman who came to the door, Damon, was really informative. I wasnt interested in anything and he was kind and understanding and left me with the information id need if I change my mind

This company is unprofessional and hire people not telling there wages. The crew managers and also the Human Resources department violated privacy acts. Do not do any work through them, they will charge you ridiculous prices and have people eating and slacking the whole time. They have there employees using restrooms in their own trailers, may I say not using a portable bathroom. The owner should be ashamed of himself and his company to hire more experienced for the job external the company and internal company.

TriState came by a couple years ago to see if I was looking for a new roof. I told them I was 2 years out and they left us with a brochure. Almost to the day they contacted me 2 years later <great bookkeeping> as I was researching roofs. Good start. Bob and Lyle came by with plenty of materials, information, financing and looked over the attic, roof, gutters and spent a lot of time answering our questions.

Very low key, great customer service and personable salesmen. After going over our options we decided on a GAF timberline composite roof. They scheduled quickly, and the crew was on time, flawless, careful, fast and kept the site very clean daily. The follow up with installing new gutters was even more painless and easy.

Communication throughout the project was excellent. They don't skimp on their work, materials or employees. All seemed happy to work for TriState. It's worth the money to invest in them. The roof looks great.

Dan came to our house last night with only one hour notice and when he came he was very professional courteous and he s a really nice guy. There was absolutely no pressure and I mean absolutely no pressure! I would definitely recommend you getting a bid from him.

I am so impressed with Tristate roofing. This is the first window purchase I ve done, and couldn t imagine the process being any more customer oriented. From start to finish I was pleased how well tristate handled my needs.

Initially contacted from a door to door spokesman, I expressed interest in new windows and got a call a few days later. I told sales that I couldn t afford the windows now, but in the future I should. They said they ll call back in 6 months, and their call came no earlier. Told them I still wasn t ready, and to call back in a year. Tristate respected that wish, and called back a little over a year later.

I still wasn t ready, but they offered a free estimate and walkthrough. The gentleman was very professional, very experienced, and thoroughly convinced me they had the best product. From the design to engineering, these are truly the most dependable and high quality windows on the market. The quote was still 25% too high for my budget, and told him I needed more time to afford it. They respectfully called me every 6 months to checkup for almost 1.5 years.

I eventually got a significantly higher salary and could afford it. Next time Tristate called I said I was ready, another measurement and quote salesman came by quickly. They added my windows onto a huge commercial order, and the price was over 25% lower! After agreeing to the price and signing documents, installers (Mark) came out and did final measurements.

A bit later the install was scheduled, Mark said over the phone it will probably take from 8-5, and maybe an extra day. This was alright by me. Once Mark and his team got to my house, they started right away and quickly installed all windows. They were finished before 3:30, very professional, and polite to my family. Mark even took the time to give a new homeowner valuable advice regarding other aspects of preventative maintenance my house needs. Very much appreciated to have priorities.

Mike from Tristate roofing was the best. Came out later on a Friday night because that was the only time that worked for my husband and I. Very friendly and a great source of knowledge for us as first time home buyers a year ago. Keep him around!!

My rep. Brandon Wigington is honest and extremely sincere. His approach to my purchase made me feel that he had my best interest at heart. There was no pressure and the appointment went smoothly. Brandon kept in contact with me and then again after the install to see how it went. When I changed my mind on the color, it was not a big deal or inconvenience at all. Brandon added a special touch and that is the aerial footage of my home pre and post with his drone. There's no charge and he just does it to help his clients.
My install took two days and the crew was very thorough in cleaning up after. They covered my hot tub as requested and all went well.
I would refer to Brandon any day and the company was great to work with from the scheduler to the install. The company also called to welcome me at the onset and gave me step by step knowledge of the entire process. That is very important. All in all, I am pleased that I chose Tri-State Roofing.

The thing about this company is that they are not very consistent with helping customers. It is almost as if you are either the top of their list, or completely disregarded. I would give them a quick call, but if you are having problems getting results and timely service, go somewhere else.

A wonderful presentation from Dan. He made us feel at ease with our choices

Let's start from the beginning. I was to deploy early October so the project was signed and agreed upon to be done in September. Tri State Roofing waited until I called them to start in late September. They delayed even further until I was deployed because they knew they could take advantage of a deployed service members wife. Tri State sent a single worker over who decided some days was bring your wife and kid to work day was ok. Several corners were cut and not in the right direction ( yes a pun within a review) they then had a "close out inspector" (with parkisons disease) come and do caulking that was missed during the family day at work. Needless to say it looks like a guy with parkisons disease did the caulking through out the project now. They reused the same material for the belly band on the house that is 23 years old. There is still trash and construction debris in my yard almost 6 months after the project was "done" They up charged us $2200 dollars without proof of what was damaged and what needed to be replaced. There are bowed, gaps, misplaced, miss cut areas through out the siding all over my house. I am embarrassed to live here now and can't even face my neighbors. Tristate took advantage of a deployed service members wife to make a quick buck and now that I have returned from sea Josh Nancarrow aka their "Operations Manager" said he was gonna make it right after I drove 45 minutes to their office to let them know i was back from deployment and they were going to fix their mistake. Josh Nancarrow sent his lead inspector "Al" who showed up and apologized without looking me in the eye before he introduced himself. I can't believe the level of trash and disdain for a paying customer much less a deployed service member that you would make me come home to deal with this disaster. Josh promised to call after a meeting with the inspector which was Monday 15th of April and I have yet to hear from him. I'm just trying to get my house fixed so when the military tells me to move I can without major repairs and more out of pocket for myself. We paid them $42,300 for and embarrassment. If I wasn't deployed I doubt they would have gotten away with this disaster.

Update : after the home was finally repaired over a month and half I was promised half of the random upcharge back because they had no proof of why I was uncharged. Well its been over a year now and still haven't been paid. If you are considering using this company I would reconsider. Al is a great employee and I was and still am very satisfied with his work. I'll keep updating this until I get the money that was promised and that is owed to me.

Dan Edmonds came over and was super friendly, professional, informative, and made this huge decision a lot less stressful (and easier) on us! I would highly recommend Dan to any of our friends and family (and anyone who would listen). Dan was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions without using terminology we didn t understand (or making us feel dumb for asking them).
