Trillium Salon Review

trillium has been an amazing place i have gone to for years!! i have tried many stylists and services and have never had a single problem. They are all so friendly and actually care about what they do and how their clients feel. 1 person with a lot of friends shouldnt be able to write so many awful reviews when they have never even been to the salon themselves. Tricia is an amazing person and would do anything for a customer. It truely is a great salon filled with such talent.

This place doesn't even deserve one star!!. what a joke! and no they dont make costumers happy ! they sweep there problem under the rug!

If you are looking for pampering and great services this is the place for you. A beautiful salon run by a great person. I walked into the Trillium Salon MANY YEARS AGO and before the owner/stylist even touched my hair, she gave me a consultation! Never before had a stylist taken the time to find out what I had been doing, what I wanted to do, and what I disliked in the past. That sold me, someone who actually listens to you but is also willing to provide excellent advice. This is my salon until Tricia is old and walking with a cane ;)

This salon is amazing. They have been taking care of me for over 5 years. There is not one stylist at that salon who is not extremely talented! You will leave feeling relaxed and looking gorgeous!!

I had coloring done that I disliked and was pretty upset about. However, after speaking with the owner, Tricia, she took charge and was able to resolve my problem. Although I wasn't happy with the color, I'm happy that the owner reached out to me which is why I'm giving them 4 stars. Thank you Tricia for being understanding and doing what you can to keep me satisfied. :)

I have been getting my hair done at Trillium for about 10 years and have had nothing but GREAT service! I think every stylist there has touched my hair at one time because if I can't get in with my normal stylist I trust anyone there to do a wonderful job! Even now, I drive from another city to have the ladies at Trillium take care of me because they truly care about all their clients and make you look and feel amazing! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and offered tea, coffee or water. The service is always above and beyond and I love the hand massage and hot towels at the shampoo bowl. I always leave looking great and feeling wonderful! I have my next appointment for a cut and color scheduled for mid-April and it can't come soon enough! Do not let ONE bad review that turned into a whole group of women acting like children deter you from trying Trillium Salon. I promise you will be very happy with your services and the entire atmosphere in the salon!

Worst haircut of my life! Spent 90 minutes in the chair and the stylist did not do anything I asked. Don't waste your money here!

They did my hair for one of my best friends wedding and I absolutely loved it. They provided fresh fruit and bagels for breakfast as well as OJ! The hairstyle they gave me, inspired my hairdo for my wedding a few months later. Absolutely recommend them!

I have been going to Trillium since 2009, when I wad a freshman in college and I have not gone ANYWHERE else. Taryn and Jami are so great! The whole staff is super friendly, so I'm happy to make the hour drive just to give them my business. I am confident they'll do right by me if I'd ever be dissatisfied with my results.

Trillium Salon does an amazing job on my hair during every service. I have been going to this salon my entire life and have never once had a bad experience. It is always a clean and decorated beautifully. Right when you walk in you know that you are going to be treated well by the staff and that you will have a relaxing service. The staff is not only professional but really makes you feel comfortable right away. I have had Taryn, Tammy and the owner Tricia cut, color and even perm my hair and it turns out fabulous every time. I have recently moved to Milwaukee and have tried a few salons but nothing has compared to my experience at Trillium.

Had a cut and color done by Kate! She absolutely did an amazing job! Definitely going back :)

Always a great experience! All these one stars are from one girl who got her friends to give Trillium bad reviews when they didnt even get their hair done. I would recommend not listening to someone who pouts their way through things. When you color your hair, it can take multiple visits to get the color you want. Therefore, just because she didnt get the color she wanted the first time, she didnt want to pay to come back one more time when most women understand it can take multiple visits. Anyways, I would highly recommend coming here, it's always a nice atmosphere, great service, and amazing stylists!! They go above and beyond! Best salon in oshkosh!

Was in quick from out of town for a photo shoot hair and make up emergency. Kaela was absolutely wonderful! All of the stylists were busy, but she took time to help me with my needs. She went over the top in my mind. Thank you Trillium, and thank you Kaela!

My wife and several other women I know have been to this salon over the years with great satisfaction. Trillium Salon has been a wonderful business in our community for MANY years. Don't let a petty temper tantrum from one customer (and all of her friends who have probably never been to this salon) discourage you from making an appointment. It is VERY disappointing to see such childish behavior by people these days. Tricia is a very honest and admirable business owner and has always been known to bend over backwards for her clients.

The stylists at Trillium are the best. They listen to what you want and give advice for what style will look the best.

Trillium is a fantastic salon staffed by friendly, talented people! My stylist Kari always does a fantastic job with my cut and color. Their prices are competitive and I always feel pampered there. I've referred friends and brought in family -- Kari has also cut my husband's and baby's hair and done a beautiful job!

I decided to try this place based on reviews and recommendations from friends. I NEVER deviate from my normal hair salon and was really nervous to try something new. After my first appointment, i will never go anywhere else! Tricia was so amazing and helpful. She listened to everything I said and created the most beautiful balayage and the best haircut I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Brenda did my hair and make up for my wedding & did an AMAZING job! Everyone else who had their hair and makeup done also loved it! Highly recommend!

I've been a loyal Trillium client for nearly 15 years. Kari is my regular stylist, but I've use several of the others in a pinch and they are all great! My wedding party was styled here, and now my kids are customers too! Hair, spa services, waxing, makeup...Highly recommend!

I was looking for a new stylist and was able to get an appt. with Kari. She was attentive and listened to what I was looking to have done with my hair style. I was very pleased with the results.

I had an amazing deep tissue massage this morning with Abi. I've had a few massages before but never went back either because of poor aftercare instructions (I got very sick after my first massage because they didn't tell me anything about drinking water) or because the therapist talked the entire time and didn't let me relax. I have never been as relaxed and comfortable as I was today, and there was no pressure to talk if I didn't want to... just time to breathe deeply, listen to the soothing music and let her take away the tension. Abi listened to me about my trouble areas (I work as a dental hygienist and have lots of knots around my shoulder blades and lower neck). She was very courteous to ask periodically if the pressure she was using was okay. She showed me some great stretches to do, too. I will definitely be back- booked my next appointment already. I highly recommend Abi at Trillium Salon to anyone!

Kari is amazing!!! I won't let anyone else touch my hair but her...plus everyone is super nice and friendly!!

Kate is a MUST see! No one can do blonde hair like she can. I will never see another hairstylist. Love the salon and the people.

I have always had incredible service at this salon. It's a little pricier than other places you might go, but they definitely go above and beyond to make sure you're happy - so the cost is worth it! My favorite thing is that they don't just cut/color/style, they also are willing to educate you on how to take care of your hair and teach you how to style it if you want.

Tami is my stylist and she is absolutely wonderful! My hair always looks amazing! I love the atmosphere of Trillium and that they use Aveda and Kevin Murphy products.

Kari and tammy are fantastic!! They have always taken such amazing care of me for my lash extensions and cut&colors. I would recommend them to anyone. Even beyond that several other ladies there are just amazing. I love them all!! <3

Disclaimer: I haven't had any experience with this salon but I'm so glad I can see the reviews on google because their Facebook account does not show reviews. I was planning to take my daughter and her friends on a "girls day out" adventure and stop by a salon to get a make-over but based on the reviews and I will have no choice but to consider a different salon.

My cousin came here and got paired up with the stylist, Kari. Well, Kari messed it up. She wanted an ashy brown balayage, but got a brassy, streaky wannabe auburn. The salon decided to only give her a 15% off discount, which still lead her to pay over $300 for. When she wrote a review on how terrible their services were on Facebook, they deleted her and all the comments and reviews from every single person who has supported her. Instead of trying to fix the situation at hand, the owner, Tricia Wagner, wrote a post about her one bad review that turned into 60+ people complaining about it. Yet, when Trillium's supporters tried reading what bad review they had, they couldn't and were all confused! But when she wrote a review on Google, the owner then responded because it's a public post and she couldn't delete it! I couldn't believe how unprofessional the owner was and she showed her true colors when it came to criticism!

I attended Trillium with 5 of my bridesmaids for my wedding for hair and makeup and have absolutely nothing but positive things to say! The ladies here are professional, listened to our questions and what we wanted done with our hair and even accommodated 2 unscheduled makeup applications the day of the wedding when two girls changed their minds and wanted it done! Kim did my hair and makeup and was wonderful-our wedding was a 97 degree day and my hair stayed put and so did my makeup. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Charged for extra service than I asked for. Space was very dusty and messy.

I've been going to Trillium for over 4 years now and every single experience has been a phenomenal one! The staff is always welcoming and my stylist always makes me feel like a million bucks. They were my go-to salon for my wedding day last summer and my entire wedding party (and especially me!) raved about their hair. Thank you Trillium for always going above and beyond!

As a fellow small business owner and customer, I can definitely say that these ladies have established Trillium as the salon of choice in Oshkosh and the Fox Valley.

They have been open for 20 years, and recently had an unfortunate experience with a customer that seems to be out for blood. Regardless, This place is above 5 stars.

Horrible salon they did a horrible job and don't want to solve the issue on top of that charged over 300 for an awful job reviewed there fb page and complained about the job they did and they ended up blocking me and deleting the review I would not recommend at all you would end up doing a better job yourself at home they are so unprofessional it's not possible to give negative stars but if it was I definitely would !!! Save your money and don't bother going here

Waaay overcharged for something I could've done a better job of at home. The stylist did nothing I asked her to do. Worst salon ever.

I spent over two hours in the chair with my stylist and my hair looks the exact same as when I came in. I provided reference photos and my stylist even got an opinion of another stylist, who said my look was, "more than achievable". Yet I was still charged over 100$ to look the exact same as I had when I walked in two hours previous.. extremely dissatisfied.

This is going to be long. I recently moved to the area and needed a haircut (even though I hate trusting people with my hair...and you'll understand why). I had very long hair, past half my back. I researched salons in the area and thought I'd give Trillium a shot since I wanted to look nice for the holidays. I liked Lauren's work from Facebook so that's who I went to. She's very nice and personable. I showed her photos of what I wanted and she seemed like she'd be able to deliver. But sadly my hair is terribly ruined. I've attached a photo of what I asked for and what I ended up getting.

Obviously, the front is very short, but also missing a huge chunk right in the middle. I didn't even want bangs across, but kind of loose long bangs to frame my face (like the photo), which I did communicate. I said, "I don't want bangs straight across my face"

Anyways, after she was done cutting, she blowdried my hair and I could tell from her face that something was wrong. When I saw the front of my hair in the mirror, my heart dropped...it looked terrible...short tiny bangs, disfigured, I don't even know what. Usually, when I get a haircut I don't really care for, I'll still try to be positive, but this is just bad. There's no way I can wear my hair the way I intended...and to think how long my hair was it's honestly so upsetting. I will have to pin my hair up until it grows out. We also agreed to take off only 1 inch off the rest of it, and that seems much shorter too.

She even tried to attach a little piece of extension (and give me $10 off) where there was that huge gap, but it would looked terrible because you could see where the extension was attached. After trying that, I told her to just take it out and that I'd deal with it. She wanted to style my hair in those lose waves and I declined...I honestly just wanted to leave.

She was plenty nice and apologetic. I didn't have to pay for the "haircut." This is probably the worst haircut I've got in my whole life and I will never go back. All of the reviews defending the salon...maybe not everyone has a positive experience and that's valid and okay? People should know about both the good and the bad.

This is a little late in coming....but, I went to see Kim at this salon and had an absolutely wonderful time! Kim is a great beautician...she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and add in a few suggestions. Because it was spring break for me, I had decided it was time for a new look. Kim took that into consideration as well as my professional life. Not only did I get my hair done by Kim but, she also gave me a hand massage (it felt very relaxing!) and did my make up for me! I can't stop saying enough about the level of service that given to me by Kim.

I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a new look!
