Poorest customer service and operations I have ever encountered. These people don t trim lines adequately and then we as customers pay the price. When you try to report an outage you get a machine. The machine says it will call with a follow up call but it never does. Our power was out three days after tropical storm Irma and we NEVER saw a Tri County vehicle or employee. All we saw were out of town workers hired to repair Tri County lines. I ve come to the conclusion that Tri County only has a few pickup trucks and extension ladders and has to call in the big guns to fix real problems.

All the while, customers with perfect credit are required to pay 100 dollar deposits to have service established. Or do without.

It would be refreshing but probably impossible for Tri County board members to stay out of the country clubs long enough to make this the great public service it was intended to be.

The two stars I gave it was out of generosity.

Customer service is good but does not begin to combat the horrible policies and procedures they have in place. This is the only utility company that I have encountered that gave no leniency during the pandemic. Nor do they try to inform you that your power will be cut off with your kids at home. But it seems very convenient that they waive the reconnection fee due to the pandemic. And again the ladies in the office are nice and helpful but the things that they're helping you with they shouldn't have to.
