I loved my lab experience! By day 6 I felt like my brain was going to explode. It is very fast paced. You learn month's worth of knowledge in a six day period. It's awesome! Go prepared to work hard and STUDY. It's not handed to you, you have to earn it. Dan is amazing!! He works one on one. I am thankful the classes are kept small.
The lab was an awesome experience. As a new Orthopedic PA the skills I gained were essential to my success in surgery. Dan Bump made learning so doable.
Amazing experience that I'm very grateful for. I got to learn a lot of amazing skills and got an ample amount of practice on things I will be using in my career. Really good and practical knowledge that is explained really well. I wouldn't have thought I would have gotten as much practice and knowledge out of it as I did!
I loved the lab. It's amazing how much you learn in 6 days. Dan teaches you the how and the why. He takes the time to help you and make sure your doing it right. It's a great foundation to build on.

Hands down, the best school to attend. It has an excellent 6 day lab course that will definitely get you prepared to start your clinical rotation with confidence in what you're doing. The instructors always answer any questions you may have and in a timely manner. The online learning makes it so easy to work at your own pace. The cost is well worth it especially since it is on the lower end compared to most first assist programs. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, recommend!
The lab was a wonderful experience. There is alot to learn, but Dan is a wonderful teacher and explains everything in a way you can understand. I can t wait to use my skills I learned this week.
I loved my lab experience. The instructor was knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. Not only did we get to learn suturing and tying, but we got to apply it to surgery simulators which helped me further develop my skills. I can't wait to start assisting!
The administrative staff never helped get me started. I always got the same answer "We don't know yet but we should know by tomorrow or the next day" I would NOT. Recommend this institution

Great Class! I am an NP and took the class to help with my hospital credentialing. I learned a TON about suturing. I am excited to take my skills back to my surgeon and practice! NOTE: Make sure if you're an NP you check to see if you need the whole certification or just the skills lab. I did not realized I would get a certification after the 6 day skill lab that would quality me to assist in the OR with my surgeon.
This was a great course. Dan was an awesome instructor. It was a packed week, and definitely learned a lot.
