Fast, easy and lots of choice. Since I use Treatwell to book treatments, I want nothing else.
Treatwell does not take any responsibility towards the customer if things go wrong at a salon other than an account manager investigating the matter internally. In the first instance, the account manager should not have partnered with a salon where they speak neither Dutch nor English. Booked hot stone massage, but masseuse didn't know what hot stone was. After consultation with a colleague, a boiling hot bucket of water was taken. Stones were way too hot. Had to cut off the massage. Treatwell does not offer any compensation or voucher for any other salon.

They allow salons who are unskilled to be listed and when a problem arises Treatwell refuse to intervene but happy to keep your money!!!! Huge scam! The salon I dealt with provided a dangerous service. I asked nicely for help. They yelled at me. My eyes where burning for 6 hours afterwards. They said in Dutch to each other they refuse to discuss anything with me (I actually understand but they didn't know). When I reached out to treatwell they said they don t care and it s not their problem. Treatwell even told me the company agreed I had been unhappy.
Treatwell only care about making money! They don't care about your safety!

The companies reply is a LIE! it's been over 1 month. No response from the salon. The email Treatwell sent me is VERY different from what they say here! They told me not their problem and they refuse to get involved.

Last Thursday I booked a pregnancy massage for my wife at Blossom Therapy in The Hague. Scheduled date time was 2 days later. Paid online and receive confirmation. Because this weekend we went away for the first time in 4 years without the children, this seemed to me to be unstable for her. On the day itself at 10:00 the appointment is canceled from Treathwell. The salon in question, Blossom Therapy, had not updated the agenda, so there was no place at all! They have tried to arrange replacement, respectfully. This was possible at a different salon, but only if we would pay for the difference ourselves. No thanks! Never again for us.

I have worked with Treatwell for over a year with my salon and this has really brought my salon to a great height. I got a lot of local customers through Treatwell and the collaboration was great! In the meantime my salon is completely full so I had to cancel the collaboration. The service is great, you can always call or e-mail. My contact person was Joy. Dear girl, good at her job and was always there when I had questions!

AVOID TREATWELL.NL LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS NOR CUSTOMER SERVICE OR DEALING WITH THEIR PARTNERS WHO DO NOT PROVIDE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. I WISH IT WAS POSSIBLE TO GIVE ZERO STARS.
I called the company and complained to a customer service rep "Paul" who completely agreed that my experience at one of their partner's spas (BEAUTY ORGANIQUE in The Hague) was unacceptable and that the "account manager" of the account would call me back to ensure some resolve. I waited 2 weeks and didn't hear back from anyone.
I called again and spoke to another "customer service" rep who "REASSURED" me that THIS time the "manager" will call me back. Another 2 weeks have gone by now and no one called me back. Today I called back and asked to speak to the account manager of the "BEAUTY ORGANIQUE" and was told that the original customer rep "Paul" was "supposed" to have reached out to me...so not the "manager" whom I was reassured would do so.
The complaint I made was a long ordeal and I expressed in my original complaint to rep "Paul" that I did not want to have to repeat this entire conversation with another rep to which he assured me this would not be the case as ALL their calls are "recorded" and would simply ask the BEAUTY ORGANIQUE in The Hague account manager to listen to our call and provide a solution.
Yet today, a second customer rep insisted that I would have to repeat the entire story again to the "manager" in order to be helped. Lol! A customer rep is now giving a disgruntled customer provisos on which they are only willing to help?!? When I then requested to be put through to the manager, after another long hold was told no one was available anymore, not the account manager, not a manager not anyone.
So why would anyone risk using a company that treats customers who've entrusted them with their skin & body services expert platform provider. What a joke of a company. Treatwell does not seem to understand what their brand or name means and represents which is to "treat well" and my experience has been the complete opposite and consider them to be aptly named "TREATBAD.NL"

I paid 1x in a salon by credit card. This salon uses treatwell as a booking site. Treatwell has stored my credit card information without my permission and does not comply with the GDPR law. Today I wanted to book a new appointment and when booking my credit card was already linked to my account and before I knew it I had already paid for the appointment. While I always checked pay afterwards.
Fortunately, the operator helped me well, and together with her I was able to delete my credit card details. Hopefully this will be picked up internally.

Treatwell has increased the percentage that salons have to give when booking + entered a monthly amount.
Bah say bad, 50% commission + monthly contribution to salons but listen hoo. After 2 years I still used saloon name and not my own name.
After filing a complaint I was told "your own fault will be" or "Then you would have to take care of reviews during your maternity leave"

I am very happy with treatwell as a partner for my pedicure practice. It has already brought me many customers. Very good to find and book salons. Typically your prepayment will be processed immediately and the refund will take longer than a week (still no refund after week). Responsibility is now placed with paypal but I have not been helped with that.

First of all, Treatwell certainly provides new customers. Let no doubt arise. Are you a starting entrepreneur who lives on new customers, keep in mind that this is what you have lost and can expect:
- 35% commission on your new customers
- 2% commission for online payments via treatwell website
- no costs via Widget, only 2% when they pay online
- 35% commission is EX VAT, so VAT still has to be deducted.
- When the customer has been with you, he / she will receive an email with advertisements from other salons that they might also be able to try (your competitors, Bye customer)
- You ensure customer loyalty and treatwell ensures that they go after you to your competitor because they can earn 35% commission again!
- Treatwell software is anything but optimal. It lacks a lot of functions that you have with competing software companies. (such as Salonized). If you call them about that, they say that they will pass it on, but afterwards they can no longer mean anything to you. Head office is in another country and everything must be approved there. So forget it!
- You get an Account Manager appointed at treatwell, but that changes every once in a while. You always get to speak to people who are not skilled.
- Staff is also aware of the fact that Treatwell's office in the Netherlands has relatively few powers
- I can continue like this and list many more points!
Example of costs:
client pays 10 euro for a treatment
35% ex VAT commission for treatwell
3.5euro + 21% tax = 4.2euro to treatwell
you keep 5.8 euros, you pay 21% tax and you keep 4.5 euros.
You pay an additional income tax of at least 36% on the 4.5 euro and you have 2.9 euros left over.
Then the other fixed costs are added such as rent, gas, water, electricity, insurance etc etc.
On balance, a lot goes to Treatwell for the first treatment, leaving you no money to live on. Make sure you don't put your best and most expensive treatment on Treatwell!
